I hate when I get cravings in the weeeeeee hours of the morning. It's annoying. Especially when I think that NOBODY is serving the food I want to eat. After thinking that I was going to have to settle for some dry tacos from a late night spot in the Uptown area, I furiously scrolled through GrubHub and Yelp and eventually found Clifton. And guess what?! Despite it being 2am, they were still alive and kicking! Awesome sauuucceeeee! I got my order of Butter Chicken and proceeded to wait. The wait was along the lines of 20 minutes or so, but as long as my food was fresh, I didn't care. There is a small area to wait for takeout but there is also a medium sized dining area if you decide to dine in or chill while waiting for your grub. If I'm not mistaken, I think they also deliver almost just as late. Food was delicious. Some of the best Butter Chicken I've had while on my Indian food kick on the Northside. Plenty of food for leftovers as well. No complaints here!

My family and I were looking to find a place that delivers and close by. We decided to give this place a try. We called ordered a Philly Cheese steak, Chicken Philly, Gyros Sandwich and a Chicken Fajita. After ordering I asked for how much the delivery charge will be, they told me to hold and I waited and I could hear everything they said, knowing their language I heard someone say charge him $10 and I just continued waiting, about few mins later I get another call, answer it and they told me the total, I asked about the delivery charge and he said it's $7, even though I live about 1 miles away and I asked him in shock and he said $5. I didn't want to argue and was hungry so I agreed. When the food arrived, it was horrible. My mother and father didn't eat and I got a stomach ache. Really couldn't believe how bad the food was. I don't recommend this place at all. Hope the management straightens up their act and learn how to make good food.
Excellent excellent food. My favs are the chicken tikka , chicken seekh kabob , beef seekh kabob & karahi chicken . And loved the pistachio kulfi and chai . Everyone must try it. It's def a Devon avenue top 5. Super duper, the spices are on point and I love that it's called 'Clifton ' -- brings back Karachi memories

Delivery: it took them an hour and a half to bring me $35 worth of the worst food I've ever been presented with. Didn't follow my clear request to bring boneless chicken (I paid extra for that). Overpriced, complete garbage on every aspect. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Worst tasting food and horrible service. I ordered something for delivery and I received the food 2:30 hours later and I paid $15 for delivery... I am not even exaggerating. When I received the food there was a dish missing and the food was super cold. The guy who delivered the food was very rude brown guy. I will never order again and would recommend everyone to not to as well

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I ordered a boneless mutton karahi with 2 parathas. For 20 dollars, I received a half empty container of karahi and on top of that, the karahi had about half an inch of oil. The karahi was disgusting and didnt resemble what a karahi should look like. It tasted like a cross between a nihari and mutton korma. This was today when I was on devon during the Pakistan Independence celebration. You would think this place would be packed but there wasn't a single person dining in.

We got delivery and had never tried it before. The food was really very good. The size of each thing we ordered was pretty small. The garlic naan was one piece, and each entree barely filled the to go containers. Also, the web didn't include descriptions, so thanks for the help, Google!

Never ordering from here again unless I'm ONLY ordering samosas and naan... Their chicken dishes, even the ones they say boneless, are ridden with bones! Everything I've ordered from here after the first experience, I've put on grubhub "No bones please" even when it's a boneless dish. It still ends up 3/4 bones! I had to take 2 forks to get what little meat was on the bones, off the bones even used my fingers to eat what little chicken was there... its all bone and gristle... What a waste.... They have great samosas and garlic naan, maybe I'll fair better with beef dishes but now I'm too nervous to try... Already wasted too much money here....

Good Pakistani food. Not a good dine in place. I would not go with family. There was a old guy staring at other people and us while we ate and just kept drinking his tea and watching us and the tv. So it was uncomfortable. The chicken kadai was good. Nans oven fresh so yummy and the beef boti was just perfect. My friends had the dahi bhalas. They were not good at all i guess they are good for just main meals. We also had the chicken boti rolls which was good too. Our meal was good and fresh. I would recommend the place as a carry out joint or just for guys. Not really a family place to be at as most guys there were just the owners friends drinking tea. All in all good food. Good dhaba joint to hang out late in the night and have some parathas with chai. Btw owner was really nice guys. Kept asking us if we needed anything. So a plus point always.

Worst food & delivery experience I've ever EVER had..!! I really hate this place & found it necessary to rage yelp them cuz my rage still burns bright 3 days later.. A couple of friends & I ordered 4 dishes for delivery at 1:30am. Granted it was late but they're supposed to be open till 3am! Ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, garlic naan, paneer, & chicken wings. It was Friday night & we were drunk & we wanted Indian food. They promised delivery in 45 minutes.. Lemme tell you, 45 minutes is an ETERNITY when you are absolutely starving & when there's 3 drunk girls starving in the middle of the night, you should bring our shit in 45 minutes if you say you're gonna bring our shit in 45 minutes. First of all, they didn't deliver my food till 3 in the fucking morning. That is AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER. We called a couple times after the one hour mark & they promised to call back with an updated ETA (never happened) & when they accidentally picked up our call again, they said 5 minutes, 5 minutes (totally false). BUT, to be fair, the double delivery time was not even the worst of it. The food was really bad. Really, really, really bad. None of us could even identify what was what. They sent 2 boxes of rice (like the 8.5x11 size boxes). Then they sent 4 soup containers filled with.. Soup? One that was tinted red was what we assumed was the chicken tikka masala- they forgot the chicken, and the tikka masala. It tasted like a watery bowl of soup (unidentifiable flavor). The paneer was so awful. It seemed like someone chewed it up & threw it up cuz the texture was chunky & disgusting. I can't be sure it was paneer cuz the disgusting green slop kept me from eating any of it. There were also 2 other soup containers. One was yellow & one was green. I am convinced the green one was salsa verde but we could not agree whatsoever. Boo clue what the chunky yellow one happened to be. The garlic naan was also one piece that came flat (not fluffy), no garlic, & it was obviously taken out of the oven 2 weeks ago & left on the counter & then wrapped up in foil for delivery to our home (stale). All of it went into the trash. BUT the chicken wings were surprisingly delicious.

I kind of wanted to give it a 1 star because of my experience but the owner of the restaurant is really nice so I'm going to leave it at 2, why not higher you ask? Lol well: 1. They took 1 hour and 30 minutes to deliver the food. The food was made within 30 minutes so the delivery process took an hour...and I am only 3 miles away... 2. The food is tasty but... The stingy chef decided to only give 5 pieces of meat ( was it 5? It was between 3-5 so let's just say it's 5 because I'm nice lol). I had a goat curry, looked plenty but really only 1/10 of it was meat and the rest is stuff I don't want to eat. The chicken tikka masala... Well... Also 1/10 meat and rest is curry but at least it was flavorful enough... Good thing I got 2 naans...else it would just go straight into the trashcan and 50$ wasted on that..... 3. Their fish pakora tasted pretty good, good portion... Probably bc the fish pieces are really small but the dough has a pretty good depth so If you want something from this place I would say get that. It's the only thing that's worth it's price. Their curry is sold at the same price as chicago curry house but chicago curry house gives so much meat like omfg the portions i miss it so much

Worst delivery service, they delivered my food after 2 hours and 35 minutes. I order half lamb leg, and I got half bone. In allo tikki found hair. Don't burn your $ in this place.

This rating is based on ordering delivery from GrubHub. I wanted Indian food, it was past 10:30 pm and I couldn't drive due to an injury. It had the highest rating on GrubHub for any place delivering that late, and was within a mile of my house. Ordered tandoori chicken, samosas, dal, palak paneer and lamb vindaloo. Was perturbed to see that the ETA was 12:15-12:45, but the food reviews were glowing. The food arrived at 11:40, delivered cheerfully by the owner. It was still piping hot. WOW. Mind you--this is Indo-Pak food for those who eat it regularly, so fellow Westerners, be prepared. Fortunately, we love spice! My husband raved about the samosas (I'm a low-carb eater, so I'll take his word for it). The palak paneer was silky with layers of flavor (not just "heat") and large chunks of cheese. The dal (yellow) was crazy-good: studded with several types of chiles (including whole Dundicuts), cilantro, roasted garlic, turmeric, onion. The lamb vindaloo had more lamb than potato (always a good sign); the sauce was good enough that I could have eaten it as a soup (which I did). What I saw of the basmati rice (again, I can't eat starches) was perfectly cooked: nutty aroma, separate grains. The liberal use of ghee (not vegetable oil) was apparent--there was a lush richness to everything But the tandoori chicken? Forget the bland tourist-friendly stuff you've had elsewhere on Devon--usually the only clue that it's tandoori is red food coloring. Clifton's is decidedly spicy--but again, with nuanced layers of flavor, including the tang of yogurt. HUGE portion (seemed like more than a whole chicken), laced with lightly grilled (not raw) onions and lime wedges. And it was the most succulent tandoori chicken I've ever eaten: even the white meat was juicy. I realized just how good it was when I found myself sucking on the tiniest of bones just to get every morsel. I even found myself using a lime wedge to clean my plate and get the last drop of palak paneer. And whereas I've found most very spicy Indian food painful, this faded to a warm and satisfying glow. (Did I mention the portions are quite generous)? I can't believe I've never tried this place before. Mughal is my favorite type of S. Asian food (even better than Punjabi). I used to venture far downtown for the late lamented Bukhara and Klay Oven. Nice to know we have something this great in the 'hood. And I hear the dining-in experience is even nicer, so I will be visiting it in the very near future (say, if my son doesn't leave me enough leftovers tomorrow)!

Very solid Indian/Pakistani dishes. Particularly the Aloo Palak and Garlic Naan. There was a nice depth of spice and flavor that should be in the dishes. Everyone was very friendly and the clean, calm atmosphere will certainly have me back. There's also a nice patio with tables and chairs where you can watch the nightlife on Devon, but you're far enough away that it's quiet.

I am a student living in downtown alone and often do not find the time to cook a proper meal. I love spicy desi food and crave it all the time. The few Indian restaurants that are close to me are very over priced and the quality and authentic taste is poor. I tried Clifton Grill three times and it has become one of my favorites. EVERY item is rich with flavor and fresh. It is one of the tastiest places in Devon and the pricing is extremely reasonable. I just ordered the Kababs and biryiani with some Aloo Gobi and it lasted me a few days because they do give a LOT! The best part is, they do deliver downtown which is rare for a restaurants in that location. Everything was delicious and packaged well so that nothing was leaking. The store owner was extremely friendly and kind.

After a horrible experience in one of the Indian restaurants at Devon Ave, I was looking for a better one with my family. I stopped by this restaurant. Although its not on the main Devon Ave, might be the reason for no rush here. I was much delighted with the welcome gesture of the owner and he assured me the best quality at his place. I trusted him and went in with my family. To start with, I ordered tandoori chicken. This was the best Tandoori Chicken I have tasted in US. It was spicy, nicely roasted and juicy to its fullest. I haven't eaten this type of tandoori here in US, reminded me of Indian Tandoori. It was no less in taste compare to the one I used to eat in India. Food is awesome here and good value for money. I will visit this place again and again everytime I visit Devon Ave. Just one quick note, please look out for the prices you get in your check as they recently changed prices in their menu (prices reduced) but their computer will still print the old rates.

My girlfriend and I ordered from Clifton Grill at 2am. Can't believe such a quality place delivers this late. The food was AMAZING! We ordered Butter Chicken, Naan, rice and the Kimah Samosas. The chicken was tender and plentiful (NO BONES!) and we literally scraped the plates clean with the massive pillows of delicious naan. Just enough chew with the perfect amount of flavor. The samosas were very flavorful and baked to perfection. I will order my Indian food here from now on, no matter what time of day it is. HIGHLY recommended. The delivery man, who happened to be the owner, was so kind. I'm not one for cliches, but you could totally taste the love in this food.

Disgusting restaurant.. Waited almost 90 minutes for togo order which was already placed on phone.. I specifically told to make spicy curry but they didn't.. Told them to put butter on naan but they didn't put. Worst experience ever.. Ruined my Sunday.. Go to any restaurant on devon but never go to this place.. Completely disappointed

I ordered food from this establishment again and this time the service was horrible. After waiting more than one hour for delivery, I called the restaurant and was told that the driver was on his way. I called back 20 minutes later and was told that the driver would be contacted and that I would be called with an update on how status. Not surprised, I was never called. I called GrubHub who called the restaurant on my behalf and subsequently told me that it would be another 20 to 30 minutes. Frustrated and hungry I told GrubHub to cancel the order. After another 35 minutes the food showed up. I accepted the order but did not tip the driver and will not use or recommend this service again.

Very impressed by the high standard of cleanliness which is uncommon for most places in Devon. I am also vegetarian and was glad they had a full page of veggie dishes. The owner and his wife came out to meet us and ensure everything was all right. You can tell they take pride in ownership and care about their customers. I ordered the Bhindi Masala, Alloo Saag and Pakora entree. All tasted fresh and not overly greasy or spicy. I enjoyed the Bhindi the most. The owner's wife said she uses fresh okra, not frozen. The pakoras were also very good and fresh. The saag was ok. I am glad they are open till 3-4AM, so will certainly be coming back for late night food..

Had been eyeing this restaurant for a few months but never ventured off the main Devon street out of sheer laziness. Decided to check it out the other day and I did not regret it one bit. The owner was around and we asked him for his recommendations. Recommended a lamb curry and grilled chicken with naan (garlic and regular), followed by chai. It was absolutely perfect! The decor is OK. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. Would definitely go back!

I really liked the taste of the food. We tried chicken karahi, burger and bar b q. The only thing is the quantity of the food is really small. We paid more than we got.

I was very disappointed with my last order at Clifton grill. I have had three amazing previous experiences but this last time was maybe the last. There is usually a long wait but it has always been worth it. It usually takes a little longer than an hour but that's because everything was freshly made and hot when it gets here. Last night I waited an hour and 35-40 minutes, my dish was cold, the naan was burned so badly on one side neither piece was edible, and we found a stone in the samosa. And it's not cheap (almost $40) so this was not worth it. I hope it was just an off night and not how things have gotten there.

Great late night food. I am kind of shocked that I didn't order from this place earlier. My SO got the gyro wrap and I got the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. Our order came an hour later than expected and the car didn't stop at the usual driveway other delivery cars stop so it was a bit of a hassle to get the food. However, the food itself spoke true to other reviews and it was great! The gyro wrap was amazing and my SO and I devoured it. The chicken tikka masala was good but not my personal favorite. Overall it was worth the wait and I would definitely try other options when I order next time!

So good and so happy they diliver to my neighborhood, Humboldt Park . I will be eating here all the time now! The goat and samosas are amazing and I can not wait to try more of the menu. The only thing I wish was a little more descriptive would be some of the menu items but this is a minor flaw. Truly excited to have found this place!

Outstanding food. After dancing and visiting friends until late late late, my buddy and I wanted to go for Indian so we headed to Ghareeb Nawaz, who was doing their turnover and had nothing to sell us, really. No rice. Shouldn't claim to be 24 hours if they didn't have effing rice. Anyway, I asked the kid behind the counter what else was open and he suggested Clifton Grill. We came in with enough time to dine in, and ordered five potato/pea samosas (to take some home), palak paneer (spinach with cheese), a plate of basmati rice, and lamb curry. They brought us a pitcher of water and a complimentary salad to start. Delicious. When the samosas came out they were HUGE. I could have gotten away with ordering just two, but wanted to have some for later. They were just delicious. Nice blend of spices. Then the rest of the food followed shortly after - tender, boneless lamb in a very spicy (but flavorful) red stew, and the paneer which my friend had was in big cubes, with really hot spinach. We're coming here from now on. I loved the food so much! Plus the service was polite, sweet, and attentive. The owner introduced himself to us as we were leaving and then introduced us to the chef, who was his wife. They are such nice people and I am happy to pay extra to support a genuine mom and pop, especially a couple that cares this much.

A friend tipped me about this place. Last night we went there, party of seven and tried many dishes on the menu including Karahi Gosht, Frontier Chicken, Behari Kebab, Chicken Tikka Masala, Grilled Green Chicken. Also had Aaloo Paratha. First off, they use fresh ingredients and fresh meat, so the quality is very good. They clearly excel at grilled meats. The last item in the list (grilled green chicken) is actually a green-chilli-based masala and it was superb. The Behari Kabob was outstanding as well. I didn't try the aaloo parathas, but the others devoured them. One thing we all really liked about this place was that they don't load up on the mirchi (hot pepper) so as to drown the taste of the food. The food actually tastes rich and flavorful from the base marinade, spices and the char-grilling alone. That's hard to do with many indo-pak dishes, but these people have done it! This is easily my new "place" on Devon. Afterwards we walked across the street for dessert - great location. The owner and staff were very friendly and always paying attention to the customers. I don't think any other joint will be able to compete with Clifton Grill for a while. They've got it down. This place is cozy, family-friendly. There was another family there when we went. If you're looking for red-velvet furniture and chandeliers then this is not your place. If your looking for a simple dining room and great food, you should try this place. We will most likely go nowhere else on Devon for evening dinners.

Heres the thing if your in chicago or near by area.....hungry.....no means of transportation......stuck in a hotel..............call these guys they deliver iam in prospect heights area. They are in 12 to 14 miles away. These guys go the distance. As others can not due to hate of making money. The food is halal and or zabiha. It cosr me 20 for the delivery and a tip . It was reasonable as I have compared it to anmol restaurant. Food is delivered hot ......how cool or hot is that!!! I have a rich mans tongue and a poor mans pockets. And together with clifton grill ......walla food.. try some you wont be disappointed. Ill add some pics next time.

Ordered delivery late at night (around 1am or so). Food was here by 1:45 :) Owner/driver was very friendly and we talked about where our families are from in the subcontinent. Food was good. Nothing amazing, but good for late night Indian and definitely hit the spot. Mango lassi and samosa saved my life. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who gets the late night craving. They also offer American food options, though I haven't tried any of those yet

This is my go-to place for Indian/Pakistani food in the neighborhood. I had given up restaurants on Devon for the most part because the food is always so greasy and oily, too much so for my taste. However, some friends were visiting and wanted Indian so we gave this place a try. I'm so happy we did because they serve the best chicken makhani ever. It's very creamy and they use chunks of white meat in the preparation. Its divine. I also really like their aloo gobi and the mango lassi. I have tried other things on the menu, such as the chicken biryani, gyro and fries, palak paneer, samosa, garlic naan, and more, but the makhani, aloo gobi and lassi is my typical order. The owners are friendly and hospitable. I like the outdoor seating area, but admittedly have never eaten there. Clifton Grill is only open in the evening (closed Tuesdays), and they have late hours, which makes it a great place to get home-style cooked food for dinner, even at 10pm, or after, which is sometimes case for me! It's like having mama's cooking after a long day :) I've been ordering from Clifton Grill for over a year now and haven't had any issue with the food or service. I think they've have a pretty good system down now that they have been in business a while. I also think you should try Clifton Grill the next time you're craving Indian/Pakistani cuisine. Do it!

Ordered for the 2nd time from Clifton grill. Delivery was on time, in fact we had the restaurant owner deliver the food himself!! The food was amazing; one of the best Pakistani/Indian food i ve had in chicago. I recommend their biryani, pakora, samosa and the lahori chicken. Thumbs up and keep up the great work

Fantastic food. Slow delivery. I had the Aloo Samosa, Onion and Spinach Pakora, Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan and Cheese Naan. The Samosa and Pakora were unimpeachable, especially when paired with their cilantro sauce. The Chicken Biryani was fantastic, but the haphazard butchering of it left many sharp bone shards. I suppose that's how it is anywhere, and I made the note to myself to go for the boneless option for $1 more next time. The Naan was large in size, but neither were worth paying twice the price of an unadorned piece of Naan. It's hard to complain though, because it was enough food for three meals. The most frustrating part of this ordering experience is that, in lieu of actual descriptions of the food, their menu often solely describes items as "Our food is certified Zahiba Halal." I'm sure that this is relevant for people with dietary restrictions, but to someone who is trying to explore an unfamiliar menu, it nets a lot of googling. I imagine that a large message across the top of the menu could save the redundancy of listing it for every menu item and could open the possibility of describing some of the dishes.

Clifton grill Is great. The chicken grilled boti is delicious, as is the tandoori chicken. its all for a good price too, well worth it. The eating area Is definitely clean . But keep in mind that the food is made fresh and does take a while. Oh , and they're open late.

Ordered delivery very late and the owner was absolutely remarkably friendly. He personally delivered our food and took the order with such politeness, although the late hour. The food was delicious! Everything was executed to perfection, I must admit embarrassingly I even went back for more the next day! This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars!!!

We order from Clifton Grill often, through Grubhub. The food is great, it's always delivered hot and on time, and by the owner himself! That's pretty rare in a big city like Chicago, so you know he cares about his business.

The food was good, we had the Lamb Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic and Aloo Naan. Nothing mind blowing, but certainly flavorful and delightful. We also ordered it late on a week night and the owner himself delivered the food, not to mention we were down towards Old Town. Highly suggest this for any Indian food lover, we will certainly be repeat customers.

You know those Indian places where you're pretty sure the food came out of a pouch or has been in a pot for days?? This is NOT one of them. EVERYTHING was fresh. The cauliflower had a wonderful sauce, and tasty spears of sweet onions. The Nan was piping hot (don't miss the one with cashews and fruit---it's good enough to be desert) and we were smitten with the fish. The salad (or lettuce garnish) was the only weak link. Lots of onions, but very little leafage, and a giant serving of what may have been dressing. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The owner thanked us for our business. The cafe is VERY brightly lit, clean, and cheery. A perfect late night spot, or one for a casual dinner. Our kids were welcome. VERY VEGETARIAN FRIENDLY. We'll come again.

Seems like this place has better reviews than what I would expect and usually that's not the case. Maybe it's because we went at 3 am and ordered burgers. Ok burgers and fries but not satisfying. Will have to go back to try other dishes.

I've ordered delivery from this place twice and the food was pretty good. Good chicken vindaloo but not spicy enough and definitely not my first or second choice for vindaloo but all in all I can't complain. Some of the items "philly cheese steak "on this menu make me scratch my head, but hey it could be the best philly cheese steak ever. Keema and Aloo samosas were just alright. 99¢ for both is unbeatable though. Basmati is always good and I like the liberal spreading of garlic on the naan. Will be back.

I read a lot of reviews before trying this place, discounting for the most part the negative ones because they were mostly for spurious reasons, whereas the positive reviews seemed to be frequently from people who had traveled to India or were actually from there originally (or Pakistan, of course). My son and I went on a Friday night: it is cozy, intimate, clean. The husband runs the front of the house and the wife cooks. Everything we had was terrific! I am conflicted- I want them to succeed, but don't want it to become so popular that it gets on Check Please and then gets too big for its britches and ruined (like another Indian restaurant which then moved right onto Devon). If you go, accept it as it is, a nice little ma-and-pa place. I can't wait to go back!

Ordered delivery earlier in the week & LOVED everything we ordered! Super friendly service, food came at estimated delivery time. Am really happy we are in delivery range of such deliciousness. There's nothing like Indian food on a cold Chicago night to warm you up. We had lamb samosas-they came with a sweet tamarind sauce & a yogurt herb sauce. Both were so good we can't decide which we liked more. Also ordered a naan, chicken korma, chicken biryani & frontier beef. The meats were all tender & flavorful, the rice moist but not sticky. We put the chicken korma over the biryani to absorb all the delicious sauce. The beef was spicy but not overpoweringly so. Will definitely be ordering from them in the future.

Just a quick update to say I've tried more dishes now, and some are definitely weird. Not like "weird to an American" weird, but strangely prepared compared to any other Indo-Pak place I've been to. That said, the owners and cooks continue to be incredibly nice, and this place is still great for late-night cravings.

This is my late night go to when I have a craving for a perfectly vinegary vindaloo and spicy samosas. All of the grilled items are beautifully seasoned and seared. I have one tiny issue as the delivery times seems to be longer than most other restaurants delivering, but the food always comes very hot and in the time specified, so it is kind of a baseless complaint.

Really exquisite Pakistani/Indian cuisine. The mixed grill was too notch and order the salty yogurt drink which was really good. Definitely a go to place!

I'm pretty sure the owner of the restaurant delivered my food and it was around midnight. He introduced himself, shook my hand, and handed me a delicious smelling bag that ended up having some awesome tasting Naan and curry in it. Highly recommend this place; especially when you want late night food that is actually good!

Slow delivery service coupled with a completely unorganized dine in service and finally sub-par food. With so many other other options in the area, this place is certainly off my list.

We ordered the tandoori fish and the boti kebabs for takeout when I visited my brother last weekend. The kebabs were juicy. And the fish was flavored really well. It is one of the best tandoori fish I have eaten.

I'm not normally a GrubHub person, tend to use Seemless more. Last night we were craving Indian food. I logged on to GrubHub and placed a first-time order with Glifton Grill. We ordered Butter Chicken and Naan. The order was placed at 7:05pm. I received the text & email a few minutes later stating expected delivery would be: 8:15pm-8:25pm. Seemed sorta long, but we were not in a big hurry so I was fine with that. At 8:36pm the food still had not arrived. By now, I was indeed very hungry. I called Glifton Grill and the person on the other end had a bit of surprised tone, like 'why are you calling'. He said the driver already left and should be there at any moment. At 8:50pm I received a call, presumably from the driver. I couldn't understand what he was saying, garbled with an accent. After asking him to repeat several times, I could only understand the word 'light'. I hung up and then called the Clifton Grill explaining that I thought maybe the driver was calling, cut couldn't understand him. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone, as now the person at the restaurant was not speaking clearly. Finally, the person at the restaurant said the driver was 'coming up the stairs'. 5 minutes later and we still don't have our food. We looked outside, the driver was standing and waiting by his car. He wanted US to come out and retrieve the delivery?! HUH. Delivery people have plenty of room to park and we've never encountered that issue before. So needless to say, waiting nearly 2-hours for our delivery leaves a very bad taste in one's mouth. The food might have been decent, except it was now cold. First impressions mean a lot. Won't be ordering from them again.

This place is great. I've ordered takeout several times and the food is consistently delicious. I recommend the butter chicken, gobi aloo and samosas. The samosas are super cheap, only $1! Clifton Grill has quickly made it's way into my heart and become not only my favorite Indian food place, but my favorite delivery option in general. Thank you Grubhub for introducing me to Clifton Grill and thank you Clifton Grill, for feeding me when I am hungry. Amen.

I have had food at Clifton grill many times and I always find it fresh and tasty, I love the lassi and the Paneer tikka. The owner of the place is really kind and makes you feel at home.....I would surly recommend this place for Indian food....pls do visit or you can order online as well.

Today me and my friend tried Clifton grill located in Devon and being hidden in a corner the restaurant has a good quality of food . I ordered their chicken BBQ and omggggggg I loved it . The BBQ was grilled to the point and the marinated amazing. I definitely will come back again.

Great prices, great food, and very generous proportions. Ordered Veggie Korma, chicken Biryani, naan, and gulab jamun. Korma was delish, Biryani was moderately spiced which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Naan was humungous. Gulab Jamun was great, then again I dont think a bad Gulab Jamun exists. Customer service was also great, the owner of restaurant delivered it himself and was very friendly. Will definitely order again.

When I get delivery here I always order the chicken tandoori and garlic naan. The chicken is spiced perfectly and I always enjoy having leftovers the next day. Delivery options are pretty limited around this area after midnight so this place is a real godsend. Definitely my go-to restaurant for late night delivery. EDIT: The quality here has gone way down. Delivery takes hours. Literally hours. My last delivery was a month ago. The owner/driver showed up after 2.5 hours and he sheepishly greeted me and as he scrupulously watched me sign the receipt, he reminded me that tip was not included. Let me remind you that the delivery fee here is $10. That and the food arrives cold. This place will no longer be my regular place for late night dining.

Good shakes (mango and strawberry are the best), BBQ and samosa. I usually ask for more than one sweet sauce for the samosas. Mango lassi are not my thing. A lot of the non-BBQ dishes aren't either.

Meh. Definitely not in love. Delivery took 2+ hours. The food itself was bland. Plain naan could easily be confused for wonderbread. The bindi masala was soggy and had more seeds than vegetable. The only reason I'm giving it three stars is because the owner personally delivered my order. Won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered delivery - 3 dishes, some breads, and a mango shake. Chicken makhani was great. Very rich, very flavorful. I would order this from here again. Between the two of this, we finished it the night of, and would order this again for sure. Chicken Tikka Masala was good, not great. We had some leftovers - a few days later, I came back from work too tired to make myself something to eat, and just dumped some rice in and ate it cold - it was fantastic. Great as a cold leftover - a lot of the flavor that I didn't get out of it warm, I got out of it cold. Probably because it had been stewing for a few days. Whatever! Palak Paneer - was bland, not very good. Wouldn't order it again. Tried eating it cold when I got home from work a few days later, was actually bad. Naan was great, chapati was great, paratha was great, and mango shake was great. I would probably order from here again. Oh yeah, and food was delivered by the owner, and he was really friendly.

Ordered late night delivery, and, despite the $5 fee, the food took over two hours to arrive. We ordered two kormas, and they brought curries instead. The curries were filled with BONES. Complete waste of money and time. Totally disgusting. Glad I ordered through GrubHub - they got me a refund on the kormas.

Food was great, I ordered the butter chicken and naan. The flavor was good, not very spicy but still delicious. The order arrived quickly. Very happy overall. :)

Ordered delivery last week, Chicken Tikka Masala, Korma, and Makhani. Although flavor and sauce was great, the quantity of chicken was rather low. Each dish was mostly sauce, but this is offset somewhat by the lower price per dish. I would personally prefer to pay a bit more and have a filling meal. Garlic naan was great - very chewy, which I love. Great service - order was delivered by the owner ahead of schedule.

I am SO happy I ordered from here! I had garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, white basmati rice, chicken makhni with a mango lasi and lentil soup. First off, I usually don't like left overs, but this was good the next day! I have tried ordering chicken makhni from other places, and the quality of meat is not as good, and sauce isnt right. This was PERFECT! I also requested for onions and limes on the side, which they were not greedy in supplying. (Which I THANK YOU VERY MUCH) I didn't try the chicken tikka, but that was before it was devoured before I can try a piece. The mango lassi is good, no complaints. The rice is also good. The lentil soup is ok and the garlic naan is Not too greasy like other places. As a first time customer, I also got a complimentary desert. (Very much appreciated by the way!) Will I order from here again? YES As I promised a review to my new favorite late night restaurant For late night food, it does not get any better than this. And I am thankful that that you are available. My only 1 objection is that the delivery fee is off the roof RIDICULOUS. I believe I get charged between $7-$10 depending if I order from my place, or my mothers. Really? It does not take that much to get from your place to mine... As a customer who wants to continue ordering from your establishment, I would honestly consider lowering the cost of delivery, I order through Grub Hub but strongly advise to talk to them about the cost of delivery. I did get to talk to the owner about it, but he said it was Grub Hub who set the delivery so high. I just ordered from there so I'm hoping to bring it up again.

After hearing great reviews about this place my family decided to check it out on Sunday night. We got there pretty late, around 10:30 the restaurant still had about 3 tables being served. The owner was extremely nice and recommended some great dishes! We ordered the bihari kabob, malai chicken, chicken tandoor, chicken seekh kabob and lentils. Everything was delicious! The best part was it was extremely fresh and well seasoned. To my surprise the malai chicken was my favorite! It was tender and so flavorful. My parents really enjoyed the Bihari kabob- said it's one of the best they have had and my husband raved about the chicken seekh as wel It did take about 25-30 minutes for our food to come out, however it was well worth the wait, the owner was nice enough to let us know that the grilled items required some time which we were okay he was nice enough to bring us out an appetizer to munch on while we waited (pakooras which were fresh and made perfectly!). Overall we had a great meal and I would definitely go back, Great family owned business and I like how they are open so late!

Found this place after getting off work late via GrubHub. Was about to order when I realized that it was right on the end of my block. As I walked towards the restaurant the smells drew me in further. When I got there, the owner got up right away and when I admitted that I didnt really know what I wanted he was very helpful. He suggested tikka masala which was so fresh and flavorful with just enough spice. He also gave me some rice and a meat filled samosa (I could eat those as a meal it was so good). Mango lassi wasn't overly sweet and was so refreshing after the spice. Prices are resonable and like most Indian/Pakistani restaurants, most items are a la carte. You can tell that he is really excited and proud of this family business, and as long as his wife continues to cook as she does, Im sure they will be great.

:( I'm a sad girl. I love my chicken tikka masala so much that I break every diet I'm on for it. I've even turned my boyfriend into a tikka masala addict. So much of an addict that he had some leftovers today and decided, "Hey we've been eating so great these past two weeks, let's get more Indian delivery!" He had to pull my arm. Seriously. So, we try this new place and the food took a long long time to get here. We got some garlic naan, two tikka masalas and the basmati rice. It came with some Indian rice pudding for free. Or, not so "for free" because the delivery charge was $7.00! For real. $7.00. The food gets here and the owner is very nice and tells us to write a Yelp review. Okay great, can't wait to try your awesome food out! My boyfriend and I ripped open the bag like a bunch of savages, dug into the food and we just sat in silence for a second. Really? We waited for this?! Now I'm not some tikka masala snob, I like it all. But where's the creamy tomato deliciousness or the taste of garam masala. The rice is just plain, none of that wonderful essence that you get with fragrant basmati. The garlic naan same, everything just very one dimensional flavored. I like food. I did not like this food and this makes me sad. I wanted to like the restaurant. I think they need to change their recipe around a little bit for gluttons like me and my man who don't want to skimp on the cream or the butter when I'm eating badly. Oh, the best thing was the free rice pudding. But, even that too, meh x 5. Sorry nice owner guy. I give you an extra gold star for being nice and for wanting feedback!

I think I'm in love. I'm a night owl, and when I can get fresh, delicious food delivered to me in the wee hours....well, that's just swell. An hour after I ordered, a courteous and ridiculously good looking guy was at my door with a bag of hot food. It's too bad I was sporting an old t-shirt, $5 Walmart sweatpants, and a nasty case of bed head. And as it turns out, he's the owner. Ohh. I opened the bag and pulled out everything I ordered and (surprise!) a dessert for free. Here is the breakdown: Mango lassi - too delicious not to offer a Large option. I slurped down half of it before I even put the food on my plate. Garlic naan - I initially thought that it needed more garlic. The punch of fresh garlic is there, but closer to the center of the naan. Aloo samosa - free with $15 purchase, delicious pastry dough and potato filling Aloo gobi - delicious, could maybe use a little more potato Chicken tikka masala - the tomato sauce was rich and flavorful; the chicken charred to perfection The chutneys - both very tasty and can stand on their own, but something magical happens when they are mixed together Dessert - I have never had this before, so I have no basis for comparison. Rich and creamy, maybe a rice pudding; I was pleasantly surprised. As you can see, I used the word "delicious" many times throughout this review, however my overuse is totally warranted, okay? Bottom line: you gotta try this place, folks.

I was looking for a place to order late night & I can't say I live in the nicest area of town where there are many options but I found Clifton Grill through GrubHub. I don't often order Indian food but I'm always open to trying out a place. Made the call & asked the apparent OWNER what he would recommend. He gave me a pretty eclectic list & I think we ordered every one of them. It took a tad over an hour & when we got the food the person delivering it at about 3am was indeed the same OWNER! Crazy good customer service. Tasted the recommendations. Crazy good recommendations. Had the garlic naan, stewed goat, chicken curry, & a few others I can't recall. Not one complaint about food or customer service. He even gave us a free rice. Yes, pricey. Yes, delivery pretty steep. That's the only two things I can think of but this may just have been our fault for not really ordering ourselves & being in a hurry. Apologies for taking a while to write the review!

Consistently amazing food. I always get the cheese naan and the butter chicken. Super addictive. Their Garlic naan is good too.

I mean, this place delivers to Logan Square in the wee hours of the morning. +1. The food is good, nay, yummy. +2. Get the Chana Masala (I'm partial to chickpeas). Boyfriend says the Vindaloo is also tasty. Yes, the delivery fee can be off-putting (if you're not nearby), but considering the low entree prices, it is totally worth it if you order two meals. +3.

Without a doubt, best NIHARI in town! The owner is present on-site most of the times and personally takes care of you. I could see that extra special touch in all the dishes we ordered. I have been eating indian food for a long time on devon and this was by far the best I've had. All the spices and flavors were perfectly balanced! Here is list of things we ordered and recommend it to any one- Palak Gosht Nihari seekh kabab (very tender and flavorful) bun kabob I can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu.

It's a great delivery experience. The owner delivered the food himself and the actual food was delicious! I loved the boneless lamb curry, aloo ghobi and garlic naan. Felt less homesick :)

The food arrived quickly, was exactly what we ordered including special requests, was delicious, and extremely generous in both portion size as well as overall quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone even if they do not typically enjoy Indian food. There is one trifling thing in that the menu can be a bit vague on what is included with an entree. Our Chicken Tikka Masala came with a side of basmati rice, but we put in for a full order of one as well just in case it did not. Now, we still went to town on the rice, but it would have been nice to have it explicitly that we were getting the side as well.
I like this place because it's not so oily and greasy compared to all the other places on Devon. Feels more like home cooking, and it's less pricey too. We waited longer than usual for our food, but I was told b/c it's made to order and indeed, it didn't taste like it was reheated. Everything tasted really fresh. I can see how others may think it's not as spicy or flavorful though, but it was actually kind of refreshing to have lighter not as heavy Indian food. Owner is really nice.

This restaurant is my first choice on Devon. Great service, authentic Pakistani food that taste amazing the first time. Must try there chicken tikka (they make it fresh and the presentation is excellent) I have tried there special and I can say no restaurant on devon can taste so good. I would come here any chance I get. Perfect tasting food, great staff, great service.

I've ordered through Grub Hub for some late night goodness twice now. Delivery was prompt, food was fresh and delicious, and everyone was very cordial. If you're looking for something fresh and tasty to show up at your door late at night, and want to avoid the vice cops arresting you, opt for the Clifton Grill.

The best food ever. I have tried it for the first time in this restaurant with my friends and we all loved it. We have been there three times in one week. Thier food is super delicious. If you are looking for real pakistani food taste. You got to check this restaurant.

My late night go to restaurant. Second time eating at this place past midnight. Ordered 2 chicken tikka masala and owner recommended goat stew. No rice just freshly baked piping hot naan. First off I rarely give 5 stars. That's why I waited for a second time of eating here. But the truth is this is some of the best chicken tikka masala and the goat stew was finger lickin good. It takes a bit for the food to come out because of the naan, but it is definitely worth the wait. The naan comes out fresh, crispy outside, and soft inside. Service is always friendly and helpful, especially if you don't know much about indian/paki food. I never had it delivered but they told me they delivered to Naperville and Morton Grove occasionally, so they do deliver to the suburbs if your in the mood for good food late night for only a $7 fee. All in all I'll definitely be back.

We wanted to leave a review because we love this place. We get delivery at least once a month. It's always awesome, especially the dal chana. Best late night Indian delivery in Bucktown/Wicker Park by far! It always hits the spot.

We like this place. We're vegetarian and pescetarian and the veggie entrees we've tried have all been very good! We've not had Pakistani food before but the food from here impressed us. The naan was the only thing that was a bit different; it was very flat and a bit dry. Overall though, we will continue to order from here. The only thing I would suggest is that someone do a bit of work on the Grubhub menu. For us, it's really important to know if a dish has meat in it and none of the items have a description. It makes it very hard to try new things we might not be immediately familiar with.

Took over 2 hours for delivery and it was cold and just so-so. We tried calling the restaurant directly but no one answered at any point. Just an apology from the driver, but nothing else to encourage us to give them another chance. And with a $5 delivery fee, it's not worth it anyway. There are way too many options to give this place your business.

I had amazing Tikki Masla (which came with rice)! It was so tender and amazing. The Aloo is also great as is the garlic nan! Will definitely be back many times.

The food here was very good and reasonably priced. Everything we ordered was very spicy and tasted great. I think my favorite dish was the chicken saag. If you get the tandoori chicken, they literally give you an entire chicken! That was also extremely tasty. My only complaint was the delivery took quite a while to get here (over 90 minutes) so maybe dine in or go for pick-up; however, I do live rather far from the restaurant (in bucktown) so it's nice they deliver out this way at all. The owner personally delivered the food, he was very nice, apologized for the long delivery time and gave us a free rice pudding (also very good). Definitely give this place a try.

I really wanted to like this place but this place fell short across the board. I like that they are open late but I ordered food at 9:45 on Sunday and they didn't arrive until 11:30. I expressed how frustrated I was and that I had to wake up early. The delivery guy was adamant that the food was good and still warm. I reluctantly took the food. I ordered the chicken tikka, chicken tikka massala, the chicken makni, a couple naan, and beef shish kabob. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS REALLY REALLY COLD. Needless to say this place was a massive disappointment. I called them to express dissatisfaction and was disregarded. The chicken tikka is not all white meat, the sauce is awkward. I will likely throw all of this away. I total waste of money and time. Being indian I have eaten at many Indian restaurants and this is likely the worst I have had.

My best friend and I ordered the Mutton Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Mango Custard late-night through GrubHub. It was our first time ordering from here. The prices were reasonable but we thought the $15 delivery fee was a bit excessive. Another annoyance was the nearly 2-hour delivery time. Besides that, the food was excellent. The owner I (Syed Rahat Ali) called to inform me that they were out of the Mango Custard and offered to substitute it with a Mango Shake. He even delivered the order himself! As for the food, the Biryani was very well flavored and the mutton was tender. The Chicken Tikka Masala was superb! I will hold all others to this excellent standard. The order came with complimentary rice pudding which was not the greatest. But since everything else was so good, we will definitely order from there again!

This is a good place with good service. I have only ordered from here and have been happy with service. They have a lot of item to choose from and food is authentic. I have been enjoying this place for a few months now.

The chicken biriyani was delicious. The chicken in it had bones, but authentic biriyani does not have boneless chicken, so I am not complaining. I will order the biriyani again, at 9 dollars, there was plenty of food.. enough for atleast 2 and a 1/2 meals.. I bought the seekh kabab too, but as I had gotten delivery, the kababs had gotten soggy in its own moisture. Otherwise, it was very flavorful.

Annais P.
With late night hours, and delicious food to choose from Clifton Grill is my go-to restaurant when i craving briyani or some spiced rub chicken. The food is fresh and plates feed 2.5. They supply condiments and package well. i was very surprised at the restaurants attempt to keep my food packaged for freshness. Halal chicken of course, and a meal you dont want to miss. Ill keep coming back

Delicious delicous food! Was served hot, on time and was really good! The owner delivered it himsefl and was very polite and cooperative. I ordered the MAtka chicken and the karachi gosht (mutton). Unlike other delivery places, the nanns were served piping hot. Will definitely order from here again! TIp: if you order from grubhub they charge you an extra $7.50 for delivery, so I just called the restaurant directly to order.

Good food, open late at night, delivers fast - what is not to like? As far as I can tell the owner answers most delivery orders, and is perfectly willing to spend some time recommending items. I got a dal tadka, samosa and samosa chat and it was all well made and arrived hot. The ingredients seemed fresh and authentic, without the oiliness or overspicing characteristic of indian places. You can specify a spice level, and at the ones I tried (medium and hot) it was spicy without being overwhelmingly so. The naans come in huge round pieces larger than your average dinner plate and are also well made. Not too oily and they arrived still at the best combination of soft and crispy and not chewy or hard. The paratha I got once was ok, but a bit too thin and oily for my taste. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because you need to order at least 15$ worth before they deliver, and somehow both times my total ended up being near 23. But still, this is a minor quibble for a place open in Evanston until very very late, so by it should really be 4.5 stars, but the option doesn't exist so oh well.

Ordered a despite the $7 delivery fee because it was open late and I wanted Indian food. Delivery man (owner?) was friendly and asked me to write a review, which I thought was a bit forward, but here you go man. We ordered soup and three entrees. - Lentil soup: Free, plentiful, and pretty good - Lamb Vindaloo: Decent, but too earthly and bland for my personal taste - Lamb Korma: Bad. Bone-in, which is normal for this dish and fine, but the "meat" was mostly strings and globs of melty fat. Sauce wasn't salvageable for rice/bread. - Chicken Tikka Masala: More like an indian version of chicken marinara: One huge chunk of chicken in coarsely-pureed tomatoes. Not remotely creamy, and not spiced like any tikka masala I've ever had before. Chicken was good and tender though (after removing the sauce). - Naan was good and fluffy. Paratha was rather greasy. Wouldn't order form here again.

Sad. Ordered 3 times to give it a chance. Chicken Briyani was disgusting. Their menu online is also lame. No explanations, I suppose for this reason. We know the fare, but different regions do these dishes with different ingredients. We are still doubting it was chicken. Very cheap rice. Dry. Few ingredients, we kept looking for the ingredients. Everything else was drenched in oil, bland, the bread was not edible. How can you mess up plain bread. It was cold in places, hard as a rock in others. The second order was late late night, the owner delivered, STOPPED ME FROM CLOSING MY DOOR, a woman alone at 2:30 am, while my cat was trying to run out, and told me to go leave a good review if I liked it. That was coercive and simply wrong. Write that tidbit on a receipt or pamphlet. Don't pressure me at my door which I'm obviously trying to close. My neighbors are trying to sleep, he's out in the hall insisting on having a loud conversation about me leaving a good review. This food is extremely subpar. The only reason people like it is they are drunk and they deliver REALLY late at night. It's junk food. Not good junk food, just junk. Spent a lot of money, or should say wasted a lot of money. Never again.

The owner of the restaurant delivered my meal and asked me to write a review after I finished. I am sorry to say that I am not at all impressed. I ordered chicken tikka masala and the chicken was bad... bones and lots of fat... the naan was crispy and thick, free rice pudding was warm, and the delivery took forever and was $7. The place already charges a $15 minimum and with ordering as many items as I did to make it to $15... you would think one of them would have been good! I ordered from Clifton grill because it was top rated on GrubHub but I have to say that I will not be ordering from them again...

I ordered from this restaurant via GrubHub and received a 90 minute delivery estimate. After two hours, I called GrubHub to cancel the order. Don't bother if you are interested in actually eating food.

Thanks to Grubhub, my roommate (fiancee) and I have tried many Indian and Pakistani restaurants over the last year and a half. Clifton Grill is by far one of tastiest restaurants we have tried. The mango lassi is amazing. The stew goat is also a very tasty dish. The palak paneer was 3 out of 5 stars as was the garlic naan, but the tandoori chicken was like everything else at 5 stars. Overall a great experience, and one that I am repeating often.
(4)

I ordered through GrubHub and was very satisfied with my meal. The owner, a very warm gentleman, delivered the order himself. Everything was wrapped in tin foil to keep the food hot, and the naan we ordered was huge enough for keep as leftovers. Delivery took a while (~ an hour and a half) but it was within the timeframe given, so I didn't hold it against them. Would order again!

I just ordered tonight here at 2:15am and I must say I am impressed. I got the Beef Nahari and 2 plain nan breads with a dessert I cant pronounce but all the food was great. Not bad for ordering late night, also it was delivered by the owner who was a very pleasant person and delivered the food in a timely manner. I will definitely order here again and so far I love it. Only reason for not having 5 stars is 5 dollar delivery fee but the taste makes up for that.

Good food, late night delivery, came in half the time I was quoted, and the owner himself brought me my food -- in a suit, no less! What more could you ask for? I'm only holding off on a 5th star because I haven't sampled much of their menu and haven't been there in person... I will update again next time I order.

I m reading some of one star review here, Seriously??? I been ordering from them since they open and guess what, I am lucky enough find this restaurant. even they deliver it to my door even 4am lol. Beside great food they're great people as well, what I like the most is the owner of the restaurant humbleness, best thing to try their with my opinion is App: Dahi Bala, Entrée: Nihari, Mirchi Keema, Dal, Kababs and Naan. Keep the good work Sir and thank you for delivering me that far (40 minutes away from your restaurant). Kamran

(5)Stu K.
Delivery: it took them an hour and a half to bring me $35 worth of the worst food I've ever been presented with. Didn't follow my clear request to bring boneless chicken (I paid extra for that). Overpriced, complete garbage on every aspect. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
(1)Joe D.

(1)David N.
We got delivery and had never tried it before. The food was really very good. The size of each thing we ordered was pretty small. The garlic naan was one piece, and each entree barely filled the to go containers. Also, the web didn't include descriptions, so thanks for the help, Google!
(3)Ryan T.

This is my go to for Pakistani food. Every dish was superb. I will not go anywhere else.
(5)Jake L.

Their curry is sold at the same price as chicago curry house but chicago curry house gives so much meat like omfg the portions i miss it so much
(2)Marjan S.
Worst delivery service, they delivered my food after 2 hours and 35 minutes. I order half lamb leg, and I got half bone. In allo tikki found hair. Don't burn your $ in this place.

Best late night joint ever!

(4)Rima F.

Alas, came back for another visit and the consistency wasn't there. The chicken mukhani tasted like it was made from a can of tomato soup. Pity...
(3)Rafia J.
Very tastey food, I ordered chicken biryani and haleem, both of which were really good. A lot of Pakistani restaurants don't deliver so I'm very excited to find a place that delivers and has great food!

(5)Shaheer N.

Great food!!!!! Not super expensive.. And good customers service totally worth the $$ spend..
(5)Christopher N.

(5)Harpreet W.
(5)Al K.
I really liked the taste of the food. We tried chicken karahi, burger and bar b q. The only thing is the quantity of the food is really small. We paid more than we got.
(4)Julia B.
(3)Arisa T.
(4)Rae R.
(5)Diane S.
(5)Cool N.
We've eaten here a couple of times. We live their BBQ items especially beef seekh kababs, chicken tikka, and green masala boti. Haleem was pretty good too!
(4)Zamir S.

(5)Aalap H.
(3)Jessica N.
Do it!
(5)Ahmed E.
Thumbs up and keep up the great work
(5)Schivon B.
This place has absolutely delicious Indian food. Their chicken tandoori is the best I've had in years, with a perfect blend of seasoning and spices. Sid- the driver- was very nice and handsome per my boyfriend.
(5)Mike M.
(4)Elda M.
We ordered chicken tika and butter chicken, nan and a mango lasi. Everything was really fresh and tasty. The nan was amazing, so was the mango lasi. The owner was very hospitable and nice. We'll come back and try this place again.
(4)Dirk L.
One of my favorite Indian spots on Devon and that's really saying something given the competition. Plus we keep the same hours and its great to be able to order food worth eating late nights.
(4)Baber M.
Clifton grill Is great. The chicken grilled boti is delicious, as is the tandoori chicken. its all for a good price too, well worth it. The eating area Is definitely clean . But keep in mind that the food is made fresh and does take a while. Oh , and they're open late.
(4)Jess M.
(5)Jerry B.
the cheese naan is sooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the boti beef kabob, chicken tandoori, beef seekh kabob, samosas, egg rolls (lol), plain naan, and garlic naan!!!
(5)Stacy T.
We order from Clifton Grill often, through Grubhub. The food is great, it's always delivered hot and on time, and by the owner himself! That's pretty rare in a big city like Chicago, so you know he cares about his business.
(5)Abhishek D.
Very friendly and welcoming staff n owner..Great food.. We tried the grilled chicken boti kabab, chicken achari, chicken biryani and garlic naan..everything was mouth watering and delicious..
(5)Sunny A.
omg worst crap ever! don"t torture yourself with this excuse of a restaurant!
(1)Abby K.
(5)t l a.
(4)Samia K.
Seems like this place has better reviews than what I would expect and usually that's not the case. Maybe it's because we went at 3 am and ordered burgers. Ok burgers and fries but not satisfying. Will have to go back to try other dishes.
(2)RayRay A.
It might look like a small establishment but do not be fooled. This place has awesome food, good customer service and OMG CLEAN bathrooms! We had chicken chapli kabobs and goat biryani. Highly recommended!!!

I have been to this place with my friends and all the items here ordered are awesome. I would suggest this place if you are looking for best non-veg restaurant in Devon.
(5)Zoe W.

Delicious and plentiful naan! Even at 2 am the owner/delivery driver was very enthusiastic and polite. Lovely customer service always a winner!

(4)Vanessa J.
(5)Nissryne D.
Really exquisite Pakistani/Indian cuisine. The mixed grill was too notch and order the salty yogurt drink which was really good. Definitely a go to place!
(4)Justin G.
(5)Haris S.
Slow delivery service coupled with a completely unorganized dine in service and finally sub-par food. With so many other other options in the area, this place is certainly off my list.
(2)Candice A.
The order arrive MUCH later than expected, however the owner was very nice and offered a $5 discount.
(3)Christopher R.
Delicious food, great serivce!
(4)Deepti M.

(1)Cory S.
Amen.
(5)Yaswanth C.
I have had food at Clifton grill many times and I always find it fresh and tasty, I love the lassi and the Paneer tikka. The owner of the place is really kind and makes you feel at home.....I would surly recommend this place for Indian food....pls do visit or you can order online as well.
(5)Ahsan S.
Today me and my friend tried Clifton grill located in Devon and being hidden in a corner the restaurant has a good quality of food . I ordered their chicken BBQ and omggggggg I loved it . The BBQ was grilled to the point and the marinated amazing. I definitely will come back again.
(5)Tyler C.
(4)David S.
(1)Lewis T.
Good shakes (mango and strawberry are the best), BBQ and samosa. I usually ask for more than one sweet sauce for the samosas. Mango lassi are not my thing. A lot of the non-BBQ dishes aren't either.
(4)Danger R.
(3)Andrew K.
(4)Sez G.
(1)Jessica J.
Food was great, I ordered the butter chicken and naan. The flavor was good, not very spicy but still delicious. The order arrived quickly. Very happy overall. :)
(4)Peter N.
(4)Krisha d.

(5)Lauren H.

(4)Lenny S.
Consistently amazing food. I always get the cheese naan and the butter chicken. Super addictive. Their Garlic naan is good too.
(5)Rebecca R.

(5)Ruchi S.
It's a great delivery experience. The owner delivered the food himself and the actual food was delicious! I loved the boneless lamb curry, aloo ghobi and garlic naan. Felt less homesick :)
(4)Nick K.

No way this place gets an average of four stars - that means some people rating this place will go back! If you give 1-2 stars, dead on. Either way pretty brutal, and it gets the point across. 3 stars if you're really nice. You threw the third in there because you don't want to feel like you're destroying a business, I get it. But 4-5 stars?! I can safely say that any rating for Clifton Grill with 4-5 stars was either: a. Paid for review or b. Drunk and ravenous. We ordered lamb curry, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Let's break it down: Lamb Curry - in a container that was 4 inches deep, there was about 1/2 inch of oil at the top. Drained the oil, and the curry was beyond bland. Pretty sure the meat was stolen from a Taco Bell dumpster. I originally thought there was some kind of kitchen screw up, because I thought no way was this lamb curry. Called back and asked for a corrected order (they were nice enough to oblige) and the same thing came back...this time with parsley sprinkled on top! Tikka Masala - if pizza sauce, Franks hot sauce, and the chicken no one would pick for dodgeball had a ménage a trois. Garlic Naan - We could eat it? I think maybe once or twice in my life have I thrown edible food away. This would be one of those times. Maybe they were having a terrible night. Maybe this restaurant is meant to be a South Asian version of White Castle, and our expectations were set too high? I think if this restaurant had a more appropriate 1-2.5 star rating, I would not be so bitter. But, 4 stars is not in the realm of reason. 1 star because of the food we did try, no one got sick.
(1)Janet L.
(4)Asad S.
(5)Brandon L.
(4)Shafiq R.
The best food ever. I have tried it for the first time in this restaurant with my friends and we all loved it. We have been there three times in one week. Thier food is super delicious. If you are looking for real pakistani food taste. You got to check this restaurant.
(5)Will B.
(5)Sarah H.
Great restaurant. Went here with our 9 month old and staff was very accomodating. We ordered the frontier beef rice and chapli kabob as well as parathas and all were amazing. Would definitely recommend!
(5)Shaun C.
We wanted to leave a review because we love this place. We get delivery at least once a month. It's always awesome, especially the dal chana. Best late night Indian delivery in Bucktown/Wicker Park by far! It always hits the spot.
(5)Crystina W.
(4)Teri P.
(1)Kat J.
I had amazing Tikki Masla (which came with rice)! It was so tender and amazing. The Aloo is also great as is the garlic nan! Will definitely be back many times.
(5)Eddie B.
(5)dev p.
(1)Daniel S.
(4)Rohit H.
This is a good place with good service. I have only ordered from here and have been happy with service. They have a lot of item to choose from and food is authentic. I have been enjoying this place for a few months now.
(4)Karthika B.
(4)Annais P.
Ill keep coming back
(4)Bhash M.
(5)Vysak V.
(4)Defne C.
Great choice for a casual but delicious dinner. Friendly service, great authentic food.
(4)Adam Y.
(2)Sunil K.
Excellent customer service. Delivered food late in the night. Kheer and Garlic Naan tastes amazing.
(5)Grace M.
