Update! I really like traditional Greek pastitsio and my first visit to Brandy's was not very good. But I decided to give them a second chance on 1/4/15 and it was much better than the first!

Is it just me or did prices go up? Walked in and right out last time when I realized I was about to spend $10+ for a freakin salad! Not sure if we'll be back any time soon.

This is one of the few fast food places I can eat at. As a Vegan, it can be really hard when a place mostly sells burgers and hot dogs. I ordered the Greek salad w/ no cheese. It was huge and filling. They do also have a Veggie burger, that is not just a Boca party. It's very big. Definitely worth many trips back.

Usually stick to cheeseburger but totally craving bbq & potatoes and u know that feeling where u are sooooo happy went to the right place because they got it right..? Rarely, right? This place hit the spot & surpassed it with the rib tips! Now I have a second fav @brandys.

I'm giving it 5 cuz there really isn't anything completely amazing in the area for comparison. You'll get good quality food. Oftentimes I get sketchy on quicker joints that sells 200 items on their menu. But everything I've had is pretty legit. We often end up here when I'm at my parents' house, either 1: too lazy to cook. 2: not wanting to get into a food coma from a buffet, 3: in the area and wanting good fast food without driving crazy far for it. Gyros: Pretty tasty. Even the pita bread is yummy! Fries: thick-cut fries where you can taste the potato. I always order a side of cheese. Can't go wrong. Chicken/Steak Philly: I've had better, but it's really not bad. Sometimes a little over kill on the onion, but otherwise delish. It's huge, and I usually am able to only finish half. BBQ ribs: they actually have a great sauce. Hot dogs: standard, but good. It's a clean and more updated atmosphere. Open late, which is always great for me. And it's reasonably priced. I'd rather pay a decent amount to eat well, and this place is up to par.

This also includes the store on Harlem Ave as well. Great variety but way to expensive for the quality of food you get. Not one single item stands out compared to other such food joints in the same area. Again, the one positive about this place is that it is truly a one stop shop. Quantity not Quality. This could have been fixed by now ... I wouldn't know it because I will never do this again. They now offer on-line ordering. The last time I used this option I was billed $7.00 more, no not for delivery nor that the tip was included which it wasn't, nor for a "convenience fee", again it wasn't. No I was charged this because their web-site at the time did not reflect their store price change, again at the time I was not aware of. I called the store after finding out that my receipt at the time of delivery did not reflect the receipt I "AGREED TO" on-line. After 45 minutes of arguing with the manager that should not be the customers fault and that "the fault" should be on their inability to control their web-site the manager agreed to reimburse me the difference. After several months they never did, What I said before I still stand by ... 2 stars for quality. ZERO stars for business sense. I lost $7.00 ... by my estimate they lost a few hundred $$$ by not correcting this.

We are usually a big fan of Brandy's but our latest meal from there left us very disappointed. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger and he swore he could taste the fillers in the meat. I ordered a kids chicken finger meal then received (and paid for) a full size meal and I ordered my self the Gyro, which was the worst ever! The taste was there but it was the size of a taco and the pita was so doughy I couldn't even eat it. I also asked for a side of feta, which I THINK they put in there but all I had was a cup of some stuff sitting in a ton of oil...oil?!?! What ever happened to a fresh side of crumbled feta cheese?!? Almost $40 for some very poor quality food and even worse I had to throw most of it away....

I came in last Thursday to dine in. It was such a horrible environment!! I didn't even want to stay there after waiting for my food because it sounded like a Mexican Night Club.... I was simply just trying to watch a game on the TV & there Mexican music was so loud I couldn't even hear the TV. It was really unpleasant & it was so awkward when I walked in and sat down, everyone who was working behind the counter wouldn't stop starring at me. My food wasn't all that either! I got a gyro, but the onions tasted way too old & their cumber sauce had huge chunks of parsley which threw the gyro off!

Savvas must be the owner because I've never had a good experience at this place. The food never comes the way you order it and it's not very good. It's very expensive and don't know why it's still here. I live two minutes away but rather take the trip to Kings down five blocks to eat good food at a reasonable price. If by chance savvas you are the owner you should reevaluate what your serving.

This place is pretty good if you are looking for a good gyro. Their menu is huge and I wasn't sure what to get. The people who work their are very nice as well. This place isn't totally amazing but it's good if you are looking for a quick bite to eat.

I ordered food for delivery today from the website and I received email about 1/2 hr of order stating order has been completed (order #5244) so I took that as my confirmation we should expect delivery soon. After an hour and a half went by, I called the restaurant and the guy who answered said he did not have our order. Basically he was very non-concerning that we received email with order # and how long we already waited. I asked him so what does that mean, you won't full-fill our order and he said he could take our order but he won't be able to get our food to us for maybe 45 mins. Didn't offer to make it right or apologize for the delay....just kept saying he did all his orders and did not have mine. I chose the Brandy's on Milwaukee from the 4 choices on their website. After I concluded he wasn't willing to make it right, I just told him forget about it and ordered from Twins Gyros on Harlem which uses Grub Hub app where you can at least track your order on the app to see is the order is with delivery person. For a customer to receive a confirmation email and never get their order is uncalled for. Even if went to wrong location, the restaurant should have either called customer or called the nearest location to place order. I usually stop here after work to pick up dinner once in a while but after this i will find another place.

We just moved to the neighborhood and can't stop going to Brandy's. They have a huge selection of food and everything we've had so far has been great! We just can't get over their gyros plate. You get a huge pile of yummy gyros, rice or greek potatoes, pita and a salad (we get the greek). We've also had the Italian beef and again, great quality and flavor. The fries are always good, but we are trying to cut down, so we opt for the rice or greek potatoes. They serve Coke products which makes us very happy. The staff is very friendly and patient when you can't decide. They are always cleaning when we're there which makes us folks in the restaurant biz very happy. We think their prices are fair considering the quality of their product and portion size. We always need a to go box! The only drawback is the small and oddly shaped parking lot, but what can they do? Yes, you should go to Brandy's!

This is the second Brandy's in my neighborhood and it's as equally consistent as the first. Both Brandy's serve up great Gyros/Hamburger/Hotdog/Fries/Salads type food. Speaking of ... they have fantastic fries and salads! I'm totally addicted to their large Greek Salad with grilled chicken breast. Delish. Second favorite ... their Chicken Kabob Dinner. Next ... their Chicken Pita (it comes with a honey mustard sauce, but I order with it their yummy Tzatziki Sauce) Best Gyro Plate in the neighborhood. (one of the best on the NW side) If you're in the mood for some good, fast, no nonsense, better than the USUAL hotdog/hamburger stand food, you will not be disappointed. Delivery is available, but I live so close I always use the carryout.

It's a decent place to stop in when you don't want to cook! I like their rotisserie chicken dinners, soups, and salads. Not a fan of they're gyros though. The first time I had one, the meat was super thin and dry. Not the best gyros in my opinion.
(3)

Brandy's is a huge upgrade from the Steers restaurant that once was housed at this location. The Gyros is pretty good. I have not tried anything else there yet, but I see no reason why other food selections would not be good as well.

I highly recommend trying Brandys. Chicken Souvlaki is the best I ever had Burgers are big and flavorful Italian Beef.... Where do I start? They offer the largest beef sandwich I have ever seen. It has to be a foot long and stuffed with meat. They even deliver.

We have been frequent visitor to Brandy's as my daughter goes to a nearby highschool. Often after practice or games we stop by for dinner. I would say we have been going 6 to 8 times per month. The last 3 or 4 visits have not been pleasant. On our last visit 8/27/14 at about 4:45pm we ordered to go. When the food was ready my daughter still had not received her milkshake so she went to the counter where the young lady who took our order laughed and said "I guess it was my job to make it", and then did nothing and started talking to her co-worker a young man. An older woman overheard the conversation and asked my daughter what she ordered and immediately made her shake. When we got home the food order was wrong. My daughter got a cheeseburger instead of the polish sausage she ordered. I checked the receipt and it said polish sausage. I called and spoke to the young woman who took our order, she told me my only recourse was to return the cheeseburger. I live 5 miles away!!!!! BYE BYE Brandy's!!!!!! I hope the owner/manager cleans up the customer service aspect of his business. He shouldn't let poorly trained employees ruin an otherwise good business. A year ago I would have rated them much higher.

Brandy's really goes out of their way to purchase the lowest tier of products humanly possible for their guests. There is nothing wrong with shopping at Restaurant Depot, however selecting the lowest priced items with total disregard for quality is disgraceful. The chemical hum off of the highly processed food prepared freezer to fryer is just bad. They are charging restaurant prices for bottom of the barrel, "dive hot dog stand" products. It's a pity too as there are so few restaurant choices in this undeserved neighborhood and shows a shameful lack of respect for the palate of the people in this community. A new fast food restaurant is coming soon a block away on Milwaukee Ave and hopefully will shame Brandy's into stepping up their game.

Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.
