This is my favorite pizza in town. The sauce and crust are the best, hands down. (Disclaimer: I'm not from Chicago; I realize this affects my pizza preferences)

OK, this place has went to hell in a handbasket. Still have the sort of sourdough crust, but skimpy ingredients ( even cheese which was one of the Jerry's trademarks). Nasty tasting salty sausage (son said he thought it taste rotten and I couldn't disagree). Most veggies on salad bar were horrible. Dead fly laying in the ranch dressing (gross). Jerry's has always been a college pizza joint but not completely disgusting. Very disappointed Can't bear to go back.

Reviewer's note: I am an extremely hard-to-please pizza fan. I grew up in a mid-sized city full of high quality pizza places, so I'm spoiled, and my standards are unrealistically high. So take this review with a grain of salt, and probably add a star. lol If you like greasy pizza, Jerry's is your place. Pretty much all facets of the pizza, from crust to sauce to toppings are above average, but Jerry's proves there is such a thing as a pizza that's too greasy. A nice, greasy pizza can hit the spot sometimes, but the last few times I've eaten Jerry's pizza, it's been much too much, which brings my review down a star.

Service is either ok or just plain shitty, but having few pizza choices you kinda have to put up with it I guess. Delivery guys never give you straws with your drink. I prefer the thick crust with a cold beer - 3 stars

Went for buffet night. Salad bar is good, pizza is just ok. Price $7.21 with drink. Much better pizza down the street.

Good food, good beer, but LOUSY customer etiquette from the owner! I've been there twice once as a customer and another time as a journalist and the guys treated me like shit both times.

Excellent greasy pizza. The pub downstairs is an excellent place to stop for a drink, although I wouldn't spend much time there with the alternatives of Marty's and Panther Paw (previously Stix) available, but it is a good place to get a pitcher and play a game of pool. The buffet is apparently tasty, however it has been years since I have indulged on it.

That's right, I'm reviewing the very place that summed up my freshman and sophomore year of college. Although I was never really there for their pizza, they do make a nice pie. The bar is in the basement and if you lift up one of the arcade games, you will find my 2002-2003 Kansas Jayhawks basketball schedule! Give it back! It's a collector's item damn it! Fun place, occasionally gets raided by the cops, but other than that, if you like soaking wet jeans and shoes, this is the place to go!
