Definitely my favorite Starbucks in champaign! Maybe I'm bias since I know the manager Brandon but regardless the employees are all very friendly and fun. If you ever have a problem with your drink they will follow the barista rule with out a single complaint!

Oh for goodness sake. You people can take these godawful complicated coffee orders but you can't make a proper iced tea? This is the third time I've ordered a trenta shaken black iced tea with a TINY bit of passion tea and paid more than $3 to have you people screw it up. THIS time, I pulled back into the parking lot to tell you about it and have you remake it. So when I go in and explain because it is WAYYYY too passion fruit not enough black tea... and it's sweet, which I didn't ask for, I get attitude from your poor excuse of a barista? She also had the nerve to smack talk in a low voice while I was standing right there. She grudgingly remade my tea--unsweetened--apparently sweet is 'standard' which would be good to know since NO PLACE has sweet as the default. And the result is sad looking yellow water. Tea is supposed to be amber. You people bought Teavana, you might want to learn that. Last time I ever do Starbucks. You have crappy product, you're over priced, and your staff is rude.

Restaurant review: This is the only starbucks that I know of in town... The parking lot is horrendous and super small. While waiting for my wife to get our drinks, I watched as another car pulled in sideswiped the side of another car back up and move to another parking space. DO NOT PARK HERE. I wrote down the license plate and reported it to the police. It looks like the plate was a defunct springfield car dealership and they could not track down the car. On top of that when the police came to interview the person whose car was struck they lied to the officer and said that the back which they had damaged themselves was the area of damage. I guess karma came around. Service is so so speed compared to Chicago starbucks. If I come again I will have to go through the drive through. No way am I parking here. This is a good Starbucks with great service. The only thing is that the location of the parking lot really sucks. If there are a lot of cars, consider yourself stuck there. I usually park on the gravel on the side. It's very congested. I've tried working in the Starbucks and it can just be very noisy and crowded. While I don't mind noise, this is a heavy traffic area so it can be a little overwhelming. Nice employees but the atmosphere is crazyyyy.

I worked for this particular Starbucks during the summer of 2012, so I might be a little biased with my opinions here, please keep that in mind. The manager has always stressed keeping a clean and presentable store lobby, and the current baristas, as well as those I worked with in 2012, have always been very quick and efficient at making quality drinks. I have been visiting the drive-thru at times this summer (2014), without letting the current partners know that I previously worked for the store and their manager (Brandon), and the quality of service/drinks I have received has been phenomenal compared to most of my experiences at other Starbucks locations. The store is a bit out of the way, unless you are in or around the North Prospect area, but if you are looking for a good place to study or get some work done while guzzling down some caffeine, I suggest heading here above almost all other coffee shops in Champaign/Urbana.

Bad drivethrough setup so I went inside. Employees are extremely curt. No customer service training at all. I ordered a black coffee and the register person forgot to get it (its okay, it happens!) But when the line died down, I went to ask someone for it, and it turned into a game of hot potato with my tall coffee. I dont care who gets it, just give me what I paid for. It was a little obnoxious, after being patient for awhile...

This seems kind of silly to review Starbucks, but I just have to because I'm so impressed with this particular location. The employees are SO nice here! Coming back home for a visit from Chicago, where there's a Starbucks on every corner, and hit-or-miss service at them all, it's such a breathe of fresh air to visit this Starbucks and have that small town charm combined with the Starbucks products we all know and love. It was a nice start to the morning to chat with a friendly barista while sipping my delicious blonde roast with sugar free vanilla... Can't beat it! And because I can't tell enough people (too bad there's no incentive for recruiting people) I have to advise: if you go to Starbucks a lot, join the rewards program! You pay using a gift card (or Starbucks app for iPhone) that's registered online to your account, and for every 10 drinks you buy, you get a free one. They load it right on your card, and you can order as big and elaborate of a drink (or get food) as you want. It's totally worth it for sbux regulars!

The Starbucks on prospect is always fast and friendly, I have never had any issue going there with their drinks or their food. I recommend there spinach feta wrap, it is delicious. Their parking lot can be a challenge as there is only one way in and out and it is rather narrow with the added challenge of the drive-thru exiting in the same place. They picked a horrible spot to put their dumpster as it makes this a 3 way blind corner. So drive careful and try not to take a giant truck in there to park, you will have a tough time of it.

I love this Starbucks! The staff is super friendly. Should you decide not to drive-thru (which is *usually a great choice), the inside is cozy- opposed to the treacherous parking lot. The drive-thru menu is missing quite a few items. The options are there, so have no fear-just ask:)...... Free Wi-Fi.

Understaffed. Placed priority on the drive-through patrons & ignored people in line inside for a solid 10 minutes. Then they were really curt & had an attitude the whole time serving customers in line, treating every patron like they were a bother despite no one in line warranting that kind of treatment. The only reason my guest & I didn't leave was because it was literally pouring outside. No thanks.

Thank you SBUX. We needed you on a long drive. Service was friendly, coffee was SBUX standard. Drive thru was not busy. A bit hard to find off the interstate. GPS was telling us it was Walmart (the horror!) but it wasn't, just closer to the road than the big box. Look for the lovely green mermaid sign.
