" ... you're going to need a bigger star rating scale ..." this place is a 6, a 10, it's off the charts good for affordable, great tasting, ungodly apportioned food. 6 year old demanded to go back because she wanted the pancake sandwich ... after balking and making excuses sucked it up and made the 20 minute drive and ... what was I thinking? IF I HAD TO WALK BACK I WOULD,!!! Tried the Fireman's breakfast and to put it into perspective, I ate a little over half of the serving and even the LEFTOVER'S overflowed the full size take out container! Pancake sandwich is delicious, and the country breakfast (two eggs allegedly, seems like four) two manhole sized potato pancakes and two only slightly smaller sausage patties were more than enough for my 90 year old mother to handle. The place is always packed, at least for breakfast, will definitely be back.

Formerly open 24/7, now 6am midnight plus extra if the biz is there This day they are open late. I'm having breakfast of Tony's bbq ribs and chicken. Strawberry cake for desert. And I must say when you come here you bring your A game. Good eating and lots of it. The waitresses are tough broads and highly admired here in Brookfield. While you sense if you lip off they are likely to put a Lucky Strike out on your face, the fact is the staff here is made up of beautiful people. None more so than my server tonight the lovely and attentive Madeline. Full menu and it's all good folks. Bulletin: Just overheard they may go back to 24/7 in September. Stay tuned to this yelper for details as they emerge.

I go here very frequently as it's nearly always open and also had a great variety of dishes ranging from breakfast (available all day) go multi course dinners. I've never been disappointed with the food or service after several years of eating at Tony's. The only con I can think of is that it does get crowded at times, particularly on weekends, but if you don't want to eat in for whatever reason, you can always carry out!

Pros: Quick and friendly service Delicious skillets Open 24 hrs Cons: Small parking lot Very busy during weekends

I'm giving this place 3 stars bc our server was awesome and was able to put up with my drunk friend (he can be a bit much when intoxicated). It was late maybe 12/1. The place wasn't too busy, but we seated in the room in the back by ourselves. There were 7 of us total One person got the ribs she raved about them. One got the saganaki it was terrible! It wasn't cooked the way it should of been. No gooey yummy parts. It wasn't crisp on the outside and it wouldn't light. She was super disappointed in her choice. I got soup nothing to write home about. It was ok. I also got a got a sampler plate. It was decent, but over fried. I left more than half of it which is good I didn't need it anyways. One got the meat lover skillet. He said it was terrible. The meat half the meat was burnt the other chewy. He was real upset bc he loves Tonys. He's the reason we went there. I can't remember what the other 3 ordered, but I don't remember the em being overly thrilled. I probably won't be back unless it's really late and starving.

Just got some take out from this place. The price was right and they had a pretty standard Americana menu. Got the chicken Philly and onion rings, they were both great! Onion rings are tough to get right. I bit in and got onion and breading equally, which in my opinion is rare. Now I want to try their breakfast menu.

The price of fame! We saw this place on the tube and had to have exactly what they ate. We got here at 10 on a rainy Saturday morning. We slid into home on this one. As soon as we were seated, a line formed out the door. The place can be described in two words. Blue Collar! Nothing to look at, but man can she cook! I got the pancake sandwich that had a fat slice of ham in between and 4 eggs on top. Now I usually spread jam over the cakes but they gave me warm maple syrup and I couldn't resist. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. It's worth the drive, but the small lot and the huge crowd would have me getting here a little earlier.

TThis place was pretty good. I went there for dinner with a recently retired coworker who lives nearby. They serve RC carbonated beverages apparently, but as I have pretty much kicked my soda intake, I elected to just drink water. The menu was frigging huge. Like, massive. PAGES. I had no idea what I wanted to order. I kind of randomly settled on eggplant parmesan. They give you like three options for pasta - I chose rigatoni because I hate trying to eat spaghetti noodles. I think it was mostaccioli (which I have a real problem with for no good reason at all), spaghetti or rigatoni (I selected this because it was the lesser of three evils). It was surprisingly tasty, but steaming hot and in my famished stupor, I burned the hell out of my mouth taking a huge bite of it as soon as it was placed in front of me. I made a guttural noise, and probably overdramatically spit it on onto my plate. It was probably completely disgusting. I barely made a dent on my plate. I should have counted the pieces of eggplant they gave me, it was a lot. I think I consumed maybe two, and then brought the lefotvers home which were devoured by my other half the following day. SPeaking of the "other half," this is totally a place for him. The whole being open 24 hours thing is kind of cool too, though it has been a good 6 years or so since I've sought out a place where I can eat anything I could possibly dream of eating at any given hour of the day.

We were searching for a nearby diner-type restaurant after an afternoon at Brookfield zoo. Figured reviews seem good why not try it? Well, service left us wanting to leave. My kids are young, 5 & 3 and after a day of walking they were hungry. I asked that they put in their orders first, I mean how hard is pancakes? Well "policy" is to put the entire order in and serve at once. I appreciate policy but when you see small kids, maybe serve them first? Then we had to repeatedly ask for extra napkins. One of two pancake orders were wrong and my husband said his burger was pretty bad. My meal was fine, also wrong but fixed. The icing on the cake was when we provided a credit card, the waitress hovered over me while adding the tip. Sorry but that's just uncomfortable and rude. Needed to say, we won't be back.

Tony's offers some of the biggest baddest breakfasts around. Feeling under the weather? Tony's is the place. Top dishes are one of their omlettes, the greek skillet, the firemans skillet....Hell it's all good, and dirt cheap too. I come here at least once a week. Only bad part is parking can be a bitch.

I'll give Tony's 3 stars because I have to believe fellow yelpers know a good place. BUT, the parking lot sux big time. It can only fit about 15 cars and it is only one-way in off of Ogden Avenue. I was able to snag a spot with my eldery father with me on a rainy and windy Saturday at 12:30 p.m. We walked in and there was a line of about 10 people. I didn't want to subject by Dad to the wait so we went elsewhere. I would love to come back because I love diners and this one...is open 24 hours! Very cool. The review are amazing and I really wanted to eat there with my amazing dad. So as I navigated out of the one-way parking lot, a chick and her boyfriend in a ghetto car pulled in and would not back up to let us out. Hello! You chickie were going the wrong way down a one-way parking lot and you had the nerve to pull down your window and call me a bitch?!! Don't think so sister. This wasn't one of my better moments but I rolled down the window, gave her the finger and screamed "Nice car, why bother, BITCH!" My oh so classy Father said, "honey, that really wasn't necessary and you are above that." I love my Dad and hope we can try this place on a non-rainy, windy day at an off time.

Great place. Old school Greek style restaurant. Good tasty food and the servers are very nice and attentive. The ribs are very good and the soup are phenomenal and super on a cold day. The clientele is in general on the old side when I stopped by with my wife and daughter on a Saturday afternoon my wife commented that she felt she was on the set of the movie "Cacoon", but it added to the charm. The portions are large the prices are great and you can't beat the value.

I love this place! Staff: friendly and kind, always there to help Food: awesome soup, great dinners and huge portions Cost: afordable Open 24hrs Ive had the flu for a week and picked up soup almost everyday. Tonys always makes me feel better. Recommend: 16oz steak burger (might want to split it with a friend, its huge), stuffed porkchop, unlimited fish fry on fridays, baked macaroni and cheese and pancake sandwich.

I was driving to work this morning and it all of a sudden hit me that I really needed, WANTED a little bacon in my life...okay, maybe a lot! Anywho, one of my co-workers loves Tony's and I decided to stop. It was WELL worth the trip. I ordered the 1 egg breakfast with bacon which came with hash browns and pancakes. The meal was prepared quickly and it was fresh, and delicious. They gave me enough food that it lasted for lunch. I will definitely be a returning customer, and I really appreciate that the staff was pleasant and conversational. It helps to deal with friendly faces when getting the day started! Good job Tony's!

This place was really good and after a long day of playing games across the street it's exactly what we needed. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the waitress tried to over charge us. My boyfriend and I both ordered sandwiches which were around 9 bucks a piece but the check was for $28.....look at your check throughly here..... The waitress fixed the amount but we had to flag her down to bring it to her attention.

The food was surprisingly very good. Wasn't expecting much from a 24-hour diner, but was happily surprised. The ambiance is very casual: family style and homey. The staff was friendly. Didn't wait long for service or to be seated. Best of all were the prices! We made it just in time for the breakfast specials (served between 6am to 11am) *we showed up at 10:50* And each paid about $10 WITH tax and special add ons. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a late night /early morning craving for something good. I'll definitely be back, if I'm ever in the area.

I've eaten here a bunch of times. Always enjoy the food. I usually get the baked French onion soup. I've also had; Greek chicken, veal parmesan, mushroom and swiss burger, steak skillet with scrambled eggs, pork tenderloin with dumplings, and fried tilapia. Excellent food, decent service, friendly staff, local family restaurant, open 24 hours, reasonably priced, large proportions... The only negative thing I can say is parking sucks. It's a one way off of Ogden, small lot, usually packed. I never go early morning weekends because it's too crowded. I prefer going in the evening -on a weekday. Never a bad experience and always have plenty leftovers, yummy!

How does one experience Tony's and not immediately understand all that is right in the universe? Tony's could move hardened criminals to tears, go back in time and stop Hitler, and take out the asteroid Apophis with ease. Tony's is to breakfast as The Beatles are to music, classic and essential. I recently went to Tony's with some friends and sat down with the same amount of glee that a child has on Christmas morn. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, and by god, it altered the course of human history. The gravy: silliness. I want my casket to be filled with this gravy when I die from eating too much gravy. Pieces of transcendent sausage covered in perfectly salted glory. The Biscuits: flaky circles of bliss. You get four of them. FOUR. Each on is as beautiful as the last, like the Miss Universe pageant but without all of the sadness. You receive so much, and yet, Tony's asks so little. It is wonderfully priced and Tony's is so accommodating, they will make it for you even when it is not on the menu at 2am. Ordered with a side of delectable bacon, delightful eggs, or crispy crunchy hash browns, and good sir (or madam), you have yourself a slice of heaven. Melanie, the wondeful waitress at 2am, is a personal hero and is one of the sweetest ladies on this earth and her service deserves a Nobel Prize. Tip her well, my friends, and karma shall smile upon you for eternity. If you order anything but the breakfast, you are a fool and should probably evaluate all it is that you do and all the choices you have made up to that point in life. NOW GO!!! GO I SAY!!! SHOW ME THE MEANING OF HASTE AND GO TO TONY'S AT MIDNIGHT AND MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION!!!!

The same thing I said about Tony's Mexican Grill can be said about Tony's Family Restaurant. The prices are good. And the portions are huge. You get a lot for your money. The ribs are awesome. The meat is tender and just slides off the bone. Other dishes I've had have been good and filling as well like the steak stir fry, BLT club, and tuna salad club. So far there hasn't been anything I didn't like. The only MINOR thing I can say about the place is that the customer base is mainly senior citizens. So many that I feel like I'm eating in the dining room of a nursing home. I just find that funny.

Chi-town! Great portions, great prices, great comfort food. This is the first place my brother took me when I arrived into town from Portland, OR and I can see why. This place has a nice home cooked family feel. If i had to take a shot for every time the waitress said "honey" or "babe" then I would have needed a wheelchair to get out. Seriously though, i had the blt club with the soup and some fried cauliflower. It was hard for me to eat it all. The sandwich was good and so were the sides. I recommend this place. No frills, nothing fancy, just a good place to grab a bite. I hear their breakfast is even better.

Eek! Methinks not. Tony's has changed . I have been a regular there for a few years and used to love this place. I was there recently and did NOT get the same amount of food that I normally would receive. It just didn't occur once. The last two times it's been different. Noticeably so. When the waitress brought me the plate she immediately apologized. All I had to do was look at her face and she knew exactly what I was going to say. Her comment was "we shouldn't be doing this especially to a regular". She saved me from walking out then and there. The waitstaff is amazing. She did smooth over the experience and said she would talk to Tony. I ate and left but after two times having this same experience I can't bring myself to go back.

The exterior and interior decor of this local spot may not be on point. However so far they have nailed my meal every time. Also outstanding service. They are always busy that has to tell you something. Whenever I'm in there I've noticed that all the patrons are ordering a wide variety of things. That tells me that they have good cooks. Also probably the most affordable sit down restaurant in the area. I'm only subtracting a star due to the style of the joint. If you want good food and service at an affordable price I would not hesitate to check it out.

Ok about sums it up .Went for breakfast with the daughter and kids and almost broke the bank Everything is ala carte.Wanted hashbrowns-- extra-- sausage instead of bacon extra . Basic breakfast joint but expensive Waitress kept getting lost after we ordered no refills on the coffee were offered after meal was completed

Come here hungry! The portions are HUGE! Everyone of us left with a to go box. The service is friendly and the coffee cups never empty. A great variety of both breakfast and dinner items. Even the kids menu has a great variety.

I've rates Tony's before, but I wanted to again because they have continued to proved quick service with great food at a really good price. Is it the best ribs or burger I have ever had? No, but it is easy in the top 3 and WAY Above its price point plus they are now 24 hours. Their breakfast alone has me sold. Rolling over after a long Saturday night there is only one word that needs to be said by either my wife or I to get us back into shape for the day: Tony's.

It is always busy. For me, that usually signifies a pretty good bet. It has a little lot and it is always filled. Get there for breakfast on the weekends after 8:30am and you will be parking a block away and happily walking yourself there. The omelets are huge. I think somewhere on the menu it states that they use 'double yolked eggs' so does that mean it is a 6 egg omelet? I say it a little tongue in cheek, but it would certainly explain the enormous size of the omelets and scramblers. And, then there is the stuffed French Toast with fruit. It is enough for four servings, but my goodness, delicious. I have only tried the strawberry topping, and it truly is like having a strawberry cheesecake for breakfast. Decadent. Simply marvelous. The soups are consistently good. The sandwiches are hearty and tasty. And, my favorite part? If you don't want French fries, you can have onion rings, or fried zucchini or fried mushrooms! Lovely glorious fried choices. The servers are all characters. You are well cared for, but feel like you are in someone's home at an extended family party. It is energetic, and runs like a well-oiled machine. You may wait for 5-10 minutes for a table, but you will be seated and rather quickly, yet you never feel rushed to leave. It's a comfortable place. Good people. Good food. No pretenses. The type of place where someone paints the windows decorating the building depending on the season. I went 5 times in one week after the first visit.

I am so glad my friend recommended me trying Tony's!! We came here for breakfast on a VERY busy Sunday morning!! Huge portions and great prices just like everyone else has said. There is nothing fancy about the restaurant, but I wasn't looking for that. Just a nice family place with good food. It does get very crowded, can't really say what time is a good time to go because it was pretty crowded the whole time we were there. And, parking is a little tight on the street, but glad we got in. We will definitely keep them in our rotation.

First of all this place was packed! That is very uncommon for a Wednesday morning here. The food was delicious and huge portions, I will be back. Nice service but the two things that kept this place from getting four stars was the fact that I got one cup of coffe and that was it the waitress didnt offer any more! next was the bill almost 40 dollars for two people, a little pricy but I believe in getting what you pay for and I did at this place. except the coffee!

Don't use your debit card at Tony's Restaurant. They overcharged my son's card. He went in to ask for a refund while I waited in a 90+degree car for 20 minutes. I finally texted him and he said they left him standing there waiting. I went in and we waited another 15 minutes while they printed rolls of receipts trying to find the overcharge (don't they use a computer system??). Tried to make us come back (uhhhh no...he lives an hour away). It was like they thought we were lying. Come to find out apparently they DID overcharge him, but refunded a portion which he didn't see a credit for posted. We were very late to our Memorial Day plans and our time was wasted. What happened to treating customers right? There are many other restaurants around. I won't be going back. How foolish to argue over $20 and now they are going to lose much more from us no longer dining there.
After seeing a special on TV about this place had to go and try it out. I was not disappointed. Parking can be a challenge as the lot is small and street parking hard to find. I did score as someone left as I pulled in. Walking in the place is nothing special. But I am here on a mission for food. There was a small wait as the place was crowded. I went for the Fireman Breakfast, This is what I seen on tv. It has everything minced together. 3 scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, ham, chorizo, jalapenos, green peppers, tomatoes, and onions. Topped with cheddar cheese. Let me tell you this platter it came on was huge. Very large serving. It was delicious, each bite was full of flavor. Everything mixed together gives the taste buds a treat. The jalapenos made it a bit warm but added to the flavor. I did not finish and took some home and loved it reheated. The waitress even said to sprinkle more cheese on it. Trust me it was loaded enough. Excellent breakfast and friendly helpful service. Price is right and the food is good. I will be back.

Absolutely fantastic food! We are on business travel during the holiday and wanted a breakfast place with that cozy, home feeling. We weren't disappointed! Food was delicious with large portions. Our waitress never let the coffee cup get low and was a pleasure! She was gracious, happy and was extremely attentive without being annoying... Prices were fair for what you get. Just a super place to eat! We will be returning for sure!!

Food is good, waitress very nice. Location and parking not that great too crowded. My family of 4 went and enjoy the omelets. Spinach feta omelet really good flavor and they don't hold off on the feta. Veggie omelet not that great. Nice thing about this location it is the only 24 hour breakfast place in brookfield. Overall ok place to visit.

The only thing I could possibly complain about is the parking and that is only because it had snowed overnight. Due to 3 inches of snow falling on what was already there and both the streets and parking lot not being fully cleared I was almost trapped in the tiny parking lot by other cats parked all askew. But who cares because the food and service are awesome! Great breakfast fur the money! Looking forward to going back to this neighborhood gem fir lunch or dinner and in warmer weather. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I special order everything! The waitresses and staff are friendly and efficient!

Ok, I'm upgrading Tony's for a couple of reasons: One- it is now 24 hours!!! This is awesome as this is the only 24 hour diner close to my house. Two- Stuffed French Toast. Yes- Stuffed!!! The best way I can describe it is this- cheesecake wrapped in French Toast and cooked to perfection. I topped mine w/ cinnamon apples and the server put whipped cream on it since I told her it was my dessert. This was at 11:00p.m. It was three large pieces and I (who is not skinny) got through two of them. Our server was awesome. She was funny and caring, which can be rare especially on the overnight shift. Love Tony's and will go back as often as I can. It makes a great place for the wife and I to escape for coffee and other delicious food.

I have never had a bad meal here and they give you tons of food for your money. I like that this is a very casual and family friendly place. The entrance/exit door is really tight so there's nowhere to stand if you need to wait for a table but they've always seated us quickly.

Great prices, Big portions, Good Food. I know this reads like a review written by the owners but it's all true. Try the American Skilllet or the stuffed French toast. I've never had a bad breakfast. The staff is nice and helpful. My only problem is parking can be a hassle as they have a small lot and it's almost always full. But I'll pay that price for a good meal.

I've been in a dozen times, usually ordering simple breakfast food or a burger. Everything tastes fine, and I recommend their fried steak and mashed potatoes. Recently, they raised prices and started nickel-and-diming the customers. $1.50 extra for the cheese in the french onion soup? Get outta here! The atmosphere is cramped and somewhat loud so I'm tempted to go only between 12 and 6 AM when all the other places are closed.

Decent food and service, typical for this type of place. Had roast leg of lamb that was OK, not fantastic. Green beans were canned or way overcooked frozen. Decent service. Affordable, but nothing to make me really want to return when there are better choices in the area. Would be good for off-hours I suppose since they're open 24-hours now.

Mediocre food at best. I love a good breakfast but this place didn't come close to my expectations. How does a restaurant screw up eggs and potatoes.
Six for breakfast on a Friday at 9am. First time for 4 of us. The other two have been there often. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The menu has a broad assortment. Everything we had, mostly egg dishes, was great. The giant fruit plate, which looked like the pile on the Chaquita Banana girl's headdress, was outstanding. The hash browns, ordered crispy, were especially good. We certainly will return.

I stopped here for the first time late one night and was delightfully surprised since it is almost impossible to find a good restaurant open late at night anymore in the suburbs. The host was welcoming, the busboy was quick to arrive with ice water, and the pleasant and attentive waitress followed immediately. The food was prepared very well without having to wait a long time. Though it's an older establishment, it is very clean and pleasant.

it was my first visit.Great food, good service and good prices. Omelets the size of small footballs.Corn beef in every bite, crispy hash browns, 2 large pcs of toast $7.It seemed that the staff knew everyone that walked in the door.Very friendly staff. I have never seen bus boys move so fast anywhere else, once a table was empty it was cleaned and ready in what seemed to be less than 2 minutes.waitress was very attentive and always topping off the coffee. I have nothing negative to say, this place is great.

Tried to go to another restaurant tonight, but after making the drive, it was closed, so we decided on Tony's since it was close to home and a known establishment for us. We had a good breakfast with our family the first day we moved to the neighborhood, but that was the only time we had eaten there before today. It was busy, but there was no wait to be seated. There weren't very many servers, and the wait to put our order in and our food to arrive was quite long, which was not so much an issue for my husband and I as it was for our 3 young kids, who had already hoped to eat a long time ago, when we drove out to the other restaurant. Once the food arrived, it far surpassed our expectations. The Greek chicken I ordered was really moist and came with grilled vegetables, Greek potatoes and rice, which were all awesome. The kids' food was also very good (fries were battered and very crispy, chicken fingers were moist but had a great coating, but the mac and cheese seemed like Kraft.) Overall, we decided Tony's should be getting more of our business. I'm only docking a star because of the slow service and food taking a long time to come out.

Do yourself a favor and try the country fried chicken with gravy, you can have it either as a dinner with potatoes or as a breakfast with eggs. Delicious either way you have it. That's what I normally have when I go there, although I have strayed and sampled a lot of other things on the menu, with the ribs and steak sandwich being other standouts. As others have said, parking can be a problem, but you can usually get a spot on the side street, or just call ahead and pick your order up.

So I have gone back a couple different times, all within the last two months or so. Basically, I now have a problem with the complacency of the service. YES- I understand, this is a frickin' diner, and therefore I shouldn't expect white linens, and to be called sir by some tuxedo'd person who asks me to try the wine before I decide to go with it. No, that isn't my problem............. BUT, if Aunt Selma/Patty (not sure which one this woman is- but it is clear, she LOVES her menthol cigarettes and sounds exactly like one or the other of Bart Simpson's nasty aunts) can't stop by my table to fill up my coffee at least once since bringing the initial cup- WITH an empty dining room (all because she is too busy gossiping with the hostess and the other waitress............ empty dining room............ why???), then there is a problem with the service. Also- you drop off my food and ask me if I need anything else, I reply "ketchup and hot sauce" and you walk away- I guess I sort of expect you to come back relatively quickly with some ketchup and hot sauce. I guess that 14th cigarette of the morning was more important. No worries- I found it myself on one of the counters by the kitchen window- about 60 feet from my table!!! Food is still pretty good- and I would definitely get some breakfast catering from here- but probably won't be back to dine........ Unless I want to hit up Ms. Smoky-Smoky for a cigarette.

Seriously fast. Like, you order your breakfast, start putting your cream and sugar in your coffee, stir it, chat a minute, sip your coffee and BAM! Food's up! Amazing. What sets Tony's apart from any other breakfast joint in town: 1. Double yolk eggs. 2. Choice of toast OR PANCAKES!!!! YES! Fiance and I have a system - he orders pancakes with his skillet and I order toast and split them. Everybody's a winner! 3. I have yet to wait for a table. This includes Sunday at 10AM. 4. My coffee has never made it past half empty. 5. Super friendly staff. The bacon is delightfully salty, the pancakes are sweet and absorbent...haven't ventured out to crepes or french toast yet but I'm sure they're delightful. This is the lazy Sunday-no-football-crappy weather-slightly hungover-I desperately need pancakes and grease NOW type of place. Lovely.

Clearly the hands down winner for breakfast in Brookfield. The weekday breakfast special for the amount of food you get and the price and quality can't be beat. Great coffee, good service, fast delivery of food. Waffles are malted style and very tasty. You can also get one on the weekday special menu with two (four) eggs and bacon or sausage for a very low price.

I've been here about a dozen times for breakfast over the last few years. Usually get a skillet or omelet and they're always decent diner quality food. Eggs are doubled in all orders (so 2 eggs mean 4). The service has been poor on occasion due to the place being slammed and short staffed. A couple experiences with a waitress who obviously just doesn't like the job, but most of the time the wait staff is friendly and efficient.

Tony's - it's not just for breakfast anymore! Great little family style place with the usual fare. Big difference here is that the food is well prepared and not overly spiced, salted or chemically tenderized. The options for sides are great too - I just love getting a stuffed potato skin instead of fries. My fave is the skirt steak sandwich, good for at least two meals!

We are Snuffy's fans for many reasons, and felt like traitors when we went to Tony's this morning. All I can say is that I have no idea why we have not been there before, in our nearly 10 years living in the area. Lesson learned. Hubs had skirt steak and eggs- huge portion, perfectly seasoned, awesome all around. Our kids had pancakes- Mickey mouse chocolate chip pancakes. They could easily have shared one order. And they also ate some of the steak and eggs. I am not a breakfast eater, ordered a delicious BLT which came with fries, slaw, pickle, and soup. All of us feel like taking a huge nap after all that tasty goodness. Total bill, with tip, was about $40. Waitress was super nice, it was lively but no waiting or crazy busy rush. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Top notch breakfast at great prices, and the SERVICE was MARVELOUS. It's a winner and my new hot breakfast joynt in Brookfield. I got 2's of eggs pancakes bacon and sausage for under $7. A must try.

This is our go-to breakfast spot in Brookfield. The food is always fresh and hot. I've always gotten a skillet and have never been disappointed. They use double yolk eggs for all of their egg dishes. The service is fine. It gets busy on Sundays and sometimes the servers seem slammed with tables, but you'll get that anywhere you go. I've never had a bad experience with any of the servers. We've been to a few other breakfast places in the area, but Tony's is the one we go back to.

Always come here for breakfast. They do make a solid basic breakfast, not that frou frou crap. Service is fast and its cheap.

I love this place. It's no frills dining at its best. I have never gotten a bad meal here. It's your typical neighborhood family restaurant. You either love it or you don't. And it's a great place for seniors. The waitstaff is always friendly. Service is never horrible, but it can slow down occasionally if they're chatting with one of the regulars. (But rarely is it a big problem.) The only problem is the parking. The parking lot can be tight, so you may end up parking the street.

Jan M.
Met 2 friends from high school here for breakfast; friendly servers kept the coffee coming and my cinnamon apple crepes were tasty and a large portion. We sat and visited awhile and never felt rushed to leave. Parking lot is a bit cozy, so you may have to park on the street.

Don't let the "breakfast cafe" part in the name deter you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner....it's all great! The portions are large and the selection even bigger! Breakfast plates are more like platters. I can't say I have a favorite breakfast there because everything I've had was excellent. They have cream of spinach soup that we actually plan our visits around. Ribs were excellent, fantastic chicken tenders and the made to order fried chicken (takes 20 to 30 minutes) is some of the best you will find. Parking is sometimes a problem particularly during breakfast as on the street is by permit only but it's worth waiting for a spot!

I love this place! The food is amazing. I recommend their Greek steak, you'll love it, i gurantee it. I usually order food to go, but I have dined in several times and the service is always excellent. The food is definitely worth the price you pay. I highly recommend Tony's!!!

Our food was OK during the 4-5 times we ate breakfast on weekends. Nothing stood out except the stuffed french toast. The coffee tasted like water (even after requesting a fresh cup) the last 2 visits, so we haven't been back. We haven't tried lunch or dinner.
Not the most flashy of places but the food was pretty good

Once again a great breakfast at Tony's. A rainy Saturday morning and we were craving skillets. I love the American skillet. He likes the steak skillet. Heats up well for leftovers, too, since they're so big. They keep the coffee coming and greet us nicely at the door. Lots of locals. Kinda crap parking but that's like every place on Ogden.

This is an everyman's restaurant. Straightforward, well-prepared food, served with attention to detail, in a pleasant environment. Yes the crowd seems to trend towards the grey beards but that should tell you what a great value Tony's delivers. We were there for lunch. The specials come with soup or salad, the entree a dessert and a beverage. The soups were surprisingly good. They didn't have that metalic aftertaste that you sometimes get in diner soups. I had a salad and it was fairly standard but the greens were fresh and not soggy, which sometmes happens when you hold them too long. All three entrees were well made and the meats were of very good quality, with little or no fat and no gristle. Portions were more than adequate and surprisingly, all entrees came with a generous side of vegetables and potatoes or rice. I had a pork kebob with roasted potatoes and they were cooked perfectly. You get several options on dessert ranging from ce cream to puddings. The spumoni ice cream was execellent with abundant fruit and nuts, they didn't go cheap here. I had rice pudding and it was very well made. All the dessert portions were generous. Couple the good food with good service and you get a real little gem of a restaurant.

Everything here tastes great; From the Ribs to the Stuffed French Toast. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are large, and the quality is exceptional. The staff is great. Service is friendly and fast. If you are looking for diner-style food, this place rocks for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have awesome BBQ ribs. The half slab is bigger then most other place's full slab. At only $9.99 for the half slab (comes with soup or salad), it's a great deal.

Like 3 and a half stars. it isn't bad. I've never been here at a typical meal time rush, usually after most people eat lunch, but it is still crowded. It's bigger than it looks from the outside, and while it calls itself a breakfast cafe, I don't know that their menu really is a majority of breakfast food. The feeling on the inside is a place that truckers would be happy with, an the tables look like they are laminated with business cards underneath. The place is usually filled with 80% senior citizens. the lot can get cramped, so if people don't know how to park, you might be in trouble (did I mention it's usually 80% seniors inside?), so try parking on the little side street if there's room.

Tony's is a great place for breakfast! You are always greeted and served with a smile. You may custom order your meal to have anything your heart desires. Be prepared to eat when you arrive...their portions are ginormous!

There is not an awesome diner in Brookfield. Maybe that's why people are so generous in their reviews of this place? I LOVE diners; I am NOT a food snob. This place is just not that good. Randomly, we happened to order saganaki (flaming cheese) and that was amazing- REALLY good. But nothing else we had was. The potatoes were pale, bland, and lifeless, and come on- aren't potatoes kind of a central figure in a diner's breakfast lineup? The eggs were meh, the pancakes were clearly a mix- meh. I just don't get the multitude of good reviews. You ever watch Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives? You can be a diner and still be amazing- this place just isn't.

Have been in here a couple of times since they opened. The building has been many restaurants so it is very familiar to me as a brookfielder. The breakfast is good, and you get a lot of food for your money. I feel like they have replaced what used to be Brookfield Restaurant's niche. I can't speak for the dinners because I have not had them, but when I drive by on my way home from work the parking lot is full.

So my gf lives out in brookfield, and outside of fastfood and other national chain food places in the area we have yet to want anything on the local front except this place. apparrently the ribs are amazing. Ok. i've had breakfast here, which was pretty good. The typical skillet with potatoes and toast...can't screw it up, although i generally ask for something extra...the nice thing is the waitresses understand and comprimise on what you want. You will be eating with the golden oldies, as its clearly a place where the older locals come to eat and meet daily, especially around dinner. I had the country fried chicken steak dinner here and it was tremendous. They even made the carrots taste good - and I dont even eat carrots. Some local table of oldies sent over a note with a waitress letting me know the Cubs suck - you have to love when strangers are open and friendly. Great atmosphere. Small, but comforting.

" ... you're going to need a bigger star rating scale ..." this place is a 6, a 10, it's off the charts good for affordable, great tasting, ungodly apportioned food.

(5)Irene G.
Pros: Quick and friendly service Delicious skillets Open 24 hrs Cons: Small parking lot Very busy during weekends
(4)David S.
Great family dinner atmosphere! Good food at good prices. Have a huge selection of breakfast!

(4)Steven M.

Had the country Benedict, very hearty and delicious. I can see why they have been on DDD and Chicago best. Reasonable prices and delicious food.
(4)Jeffery S.
(5)Karma K.
(3)Al M.
(4)Kristina P.
(5)Jasmine B.
(4)April W.
(4)Lulu C.
(4)Meg P.
(4)Chris S.
(5)James C.
(5)Anthony K.
(4)T K.

(4)Bill B.
(3)S B.
Come here hungry! The portions are HUGE! Everyone of us left with a to go box. The service is friendly and the coffee cups never empty. A great variety of both breakfast and dinner items. Even the kids menu has a great variety.
(4)Justin D.
(5)Kimberly S.
(5)Carm B.
(4)Michael M.
Are the firemen skillet very tasty but the pancakes that came with left a little bit to be desired they fell apart a little bit when I applied the syrup to them overall I would say nice price great meal still had plenty to take home excellent service
(4)Ted d.
Always tasty, good service, good consistent food. Priced fair and you typically go home with leftovers. Give them a try!
(4)Gabriella R.
I have been going to Tony's for years. Anything I get; Mexican skillet, stuffed french toast, and ribs. All are delicious.
(5)Sarah U.
Love it ....gives a great amount of food waitresses very nice friendly price worth it place kinda small but it feels that way cause its always busy if you go ask for Kathy very friendly sweet lady :)
(5)Greg W.
(3)Tricia M.
Food here is not only reasonably priced but delicious. Portion sizes are huge and the customer service is great. We are always greeted with a smile! I would recommend Tony's for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I loved seeing them on Chicago's Best! chicagosbesttv.com/break…

Average breakfast food, the skillets are ok, all the sweet stuff is what they do best, crapes, pancakes etc. nothing fancy décor wise but that's the only option in the area.

This is exactly the type of diner you want across the street from Galloping Ghost. Great diner food and 24 hours. Coming here is part of the fun of going to Galloping Ghost.

(5)Jennifer S.
Fast friendly service. Food is always good! From the French Toast to the skillets. The place is always busy and I can understand why.
(5)Jennifer L.
Wow talk about awkward. Horrible service mixed with racism. I would never eat here again, wish I hadn't in the first place.

(5)Lisa M.
We have been coming here since they opened. The food is great and so is the service. The ribs are falling off the bone .Fabulous!!!! Todayi went with the beef delight sandwich. As always Yummmy!!!!!
(4)Timothy S.
(5)Miguel S.
(3)Edward B.
(3)Sandy R.
Mediocre food at best. I love a good breakfast but this place didn't come close to my expectations. How does a restaurant screw up eggs and potatoes.
(2)Pat R.
Our favorite Saturday morning breakfast place! Great service, the waitresses bring our coffee/tea as soon as they see us! We usually order the Mexican skillet or the ham and eggs. We ask for 2 eggs, (they're double yolk, so it seems like you get 4) and we split it! The stuffed French toast is incredible. The potato pancakes- delish! The only negative is the décor, it could use a sprucing up! But the food and service are great.

(5)Venus H.
We love Tony's! it is now 24 hours!!! This is awesome for us late nighters! The steak skillet is my fav with a side of pancakes... portions are huge! Great service!
(5)Sarah V.
Got us in quick on a busy Sunday morning. Coffee is mediocre. Food is average. Kids menu is pretty good. I imagine this is a good place to go for a hangover. Greasy diner breakfast. Service was fast. No frills.
(3)Veronica H.
we go there for breakfast , and always hot and soo good, we decided to order dinner , omg it was samzing greek steak, chop steak our daughter had chicken finger amazing really hot and very well cooked !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(5)roy l.
it was my first visit.Great food, good service and good prices.

Lovely.
(4)Patrick B.
(5)Chris W.
(3)Carmella P.
(3)amy t.
(4)Bill O.
Top notch breakfast at great prices, and the SERVICE was MARVELOUS. It's a winner and my new hot breakfast joynt in Brookfield. I got 2's of eggs pancakes bacon and sausage for under $7. A must try.
(4)Kathy L.
(4)Scott A.
Always come here for breakfast. They do make a solid basic breakfast, not that frou frou crap. Service is fast and its cheap.
(3)Kevin B.
(4)Jan M.
Met 2 friends from high school here for breakfast; friendly servers kept the coffee coming and my cinnamon apple crepes were tasty and a large portion. We sat and visited awhile and never felt rushed to leave. Parking lot is a bit cozy, so you may have to park on the street.
(3)Jackie L.
(5)Jeffrey A.
I love this place! The food is amazing. I recommend their Greek steak, you'll love it, i gurantee it. I usually order food to go, but I have dined in several times and the service is always excellent. The food is definitely worth the price you pay. I highly recommend Tony's!!!
(5)Lynn C.
Our food was OK during the 4-5 times we ate breakfast on weekends. Nothing stood out except the stuffed french toast. The coffee tasted like water (even after requesting a fresh cup) the last 2 visits, so we haven't been back. We haven't tried lunch or dinner.
(2)Fritouj Q.
top 3 "best ribs" i've ever had. fall-off-the-bone tender, juicy inside, delicate well-done crispy edges and generous portions. got lucky o'hare flight canceled.
(5)Eddie H.
Not the most flashy of places but the food was pretty good
(4)Jessica M.
(4)Ted N.
(4)Matt W.
(4)Justin G.
(4)Patty S.
Tony's is a great place for breakfast! You are always greeted and served with a smile. You may custom order your meal to have anything your heart desires. Be prepared to eat when you arrive...their portions are ginormous!
(4)Cynthia A.
(2)Lisa H.
(4)Mike K.
