I love the burgers and the fast service, recently I started eating their salads to lose a few pounds, and their salads are great too! My kids love their frozen custard deserts they have so many, but the one I like the most is the strawberry cheesecake concrete mixer, very good!

They are so incredibly nice here. They always serve with a smile! I've been here quite a few times and I alternate between the burgers and the beef pot roast dinner. Regardless of which one I choose, it's always a good choice.

Of the Chicagoland Culvers I've been to this is my favorite. It's the employees here that outshine the great food and make it such an enjoyable experience. On our most recent visit Danny took our order. His greeting was very nice, kept a smile on the entire time, and made eye contact as often as possible when not entering in our order. When I inquired if the custard flavor of the day (Georgia Peach) was made with vanilla or peach custard he gave the full description including that it was made with peach custard. He then offered us both a sample. As we closed out our order (that included Georgia Peach custard even though I'm a chocolate fanatic) he said "it's been a pleasure serving you today". When a different employee delivered the order he left after saying "We hope you enjoy your meal and have a great day". Wow, these people are on their customer service game! The food was great as always. We had exchanged our sides of fries for onion rings and cheese curds. But add a bit to price of the value basket but it's well worth it. If you've never had cheese curds before you need to have them on your next visit. They're that delicious!! I had a grilled Ruben sandwich with a good amount of corned beef and an average portion of sour kraut. The rye bread was lightly buttered and toasted perfectly. I usually have a Wisconsin Swiss Burger because I love that so much but now that I've tried the Ruben it's going to be a tough choice. The restaurant was kept very clean and every time an employee brought out someone's order that employee made a full walk through of the seating checking on cleanliness. The employees also stopped at our table a couple times while eating to ensure everything was going well. All around great visit as we've come to expect here.

A family favorite! The food is what you can expect from all Culvers restaurants. The customer service here is amazing! Great staff and well managed team. My family visits this particular establishment every Friday due to my children's insistence.

Great service! Was here today and unfortunately when an elderly lady used the table to support herself while sitting down she tipped the table and everything went everywhere. Thankfully she was ok. In this instance you could tell the lady felt very embarrassed, but the staff here really stepped in to make her feel comfortable and okay about the situation immediately. The staff came and cleaned everything immediately and got their food remade ASAP at no charge and even went as far as going to pour them new drinks. I could tell from a distance she felt much better. This is a great example of stand up employees and management! They could have done just the minimal clean up and left her feeling terrible but instead they wet above and beyond an for that I write my first review ever! Great job here staff!

Friendly staff and all, but service was a little spotty and it appeared as though most of the employees were really confused about what was going on. The place was not exactly busy which was why it was so puzzling, but the food was typical Culver's.

Kind of underwhelmed today at Culvers. I was told this is a step up from fast food and decided to give it a try. I was charged $10.39 for a cheddar burger, an order of mashed potatoes, and a 16 ounce black coffee. The cheddar burger was two thin fresh cooked patties in between a huge yet fresh bun. There was about an ice cream scoop and a half of mashed potatoes. Way too much bread for that burger. The mashed potatoes taste like they're out of a box. I could almost taste the cardboard as I ate them while adding salt and pepper. Although the coffee was good regardless of the fact there were a bunch of grounds in the bottom of my cup. The serviced wasn't so great. I asked for a side of mayonnaise which I didn't get regardless that it was stated on the receipt. When I ordered the coffee at the counter the girl gave me a half a cup of old coffee then stated she was going to brew a new pot and fill my cup up later. For $10.39 either fill my cup with a hot cup of coffee or just give me a fresh cup. Poor customer service decision. I prefer less of the employees focusing on telling me to have a nice day and welcoming me to the store and more of just getting my order right. If the meal was $7.39 I would be back. Otherwise I'll probably never tried them again unless I have to.

Second time at this location, the employees are always customer friendly and I love that they always have free staff to check on you (not in the pesky way.) The food is always presented as advertised and tastes even better then it looks great job Culver's staff 5 stars from this really full guy. Very clean and spacious I would also like to point out they decorate for season I like the little ghosts hanging from the ceiling tiles.

This Culvers was JUST ok.. I have had better experiences at other locations. Maybe it was a bad night or some other reason but the place seemed a little unkept. It was rather slow but the place could have used a little cleaning. I must say that the service at this location, like all other Culvers was very good. My hats off to young people working tough jobs and they still perform fantastic. The food was also just ok here. Overall Culvers is a good place for fast food but this location was not my best experience.

I have passed by this restaurant for years and never thought to go in and try their food. This place is a lil pricey but the food os beyond great. Most importantly their atmosphere is very clean n the employees r very friendly. I really enjoyed how they have all the condiments were out in the eatin area for the convenience of the customers. Would most definitely return without any questions asked.

So over rated indeed! I was quite disappointed in the fact that I expected more but it was less. The salad with its strawberries and walnuts was okay. The cheese curds were so not what I would buy again, I guess I thought of poutin when I heard cheese curds. Although the food to me was at best mediocre, it didn't feel as if I should of spent $28 on a fish dinner and a salad with 2 beverages (small) and cheese curds. I was happy that it was empty, but I wasn't smiling with the taste, after all the taste of a place is what I come for, not the ambiance so much. I was asked by the cashier if I would like to donate $5 to the Veterans' of the US, and of course I did, but I did find it quite strange that I am being solicited for funds. But the cashier did get a flag out and when I paid for my order, he took that flag and posted it outside by the flower beds. Although again, I found this strange, I did get a smile out of it. Culver's was a place I always wanted to try, but I have to admit I was very disappointed, which is too bad. I ended up getting another meal for a homeless guy who was sitting outside when I came in, and I got him the large beverage so that at least he wouldn't be so parched due to Chicago's crazy weather, and this day was quite warm. I guess next time (yes I always try a place twice, even if I don't care too much for it the first time) I will get a burger to see if that makes the difference. But again, get a small beverage if you are dining in since it is free refills anyway. Save you a few cents but well worth it and no waste of beverages is always good.

You come to this Culver's you taste good food but to get the good food it may be a hassle. They often mess up my order if I order at lunch time or dinner, weekday or weekend. 80% chance they will mess up your order too!

** Update - 5/29/13** I'd never used the drive-up until today. Culvers now gets 5 stars because (1) they have dog biscuits for my fuzzy companions; and (2) the guy at the drive-up really liked dogs. I just feel better whenever I come here. *** I like Culver's in general, and this Culver's in particular. Yes, it's fast food, but it's good-quality fast food, and the prices are better than average. The value for the price is outstanding, and you can't beat the ice cream (yes, I know the difference between ice cream and frozen custard - frozen custard is the best ice cream there is). I've read some reviews saying that the staff is awful. I've been here several times, and seen the counter people handle nicely and politely situations where I would have strangled the customers. I can't believe anyone would think these people are anything other than very nice; on the other hand, some folks won't be happy with anything. I was here yesterday, ordering a salad and fries, and mentioned that the fries were for my dogs who were patiently waiting in the car. The gentleman at the counter suggested that next time I could go through the drive-up; they have biscuits for the dogs, and they wouldn't have to be alone in the car. Yeah, maybe, but then I couldn't get a scoop of that fabulous ice cream. But it was nice of him to suggest it. You can't beat this Culver's - it's nice and clean, very family-friendly. Me, I'm just going to have to work my way through the menu.

I like to go to Culver's because it is a very clean sit down fast food restaurant and the food is consistent. The burgers are always good (you definitely have to order at least a double), their other specialty items like the cod sandwich and fried chicken are pretty good. The soup and chili are always very good. Their kid's meals have a nice variety to choose from and they get a free ice cream, which is nice. One thing I definitely recommend at Culver's is their Turtle Sundae. It's absolutely awesome! The staff at this location has always been very nice and attentive each time I have visited. They are really nice to the kids when they are picking out their ice cream. The only thing that would not make me give it 5 stars is the price. They are kind of expensive for burgers and such, and I'm not cheap. But then again, we aren't talking about Mickey D's here.

Once again I find a place with crappy service. I mean WTF? It's not rocket science, or maybe it is. I walk in, the place is nice and clean and big with not to many people and most importantly no line. The first problem, however, is that the menu I have at home differs from the one they -I guess now- have. Meaning a couple of things on my list they don't carry. No big deal, that happens. But when I ask for things they do have (supposedly) they tell me they don't have or very little of. Really? It's dinner time and everytime I pass by there always seems to be cars in the lot. Second problem, the guy that takes my order doesn't seem to know much. Especially when he leaves the register to ask the cook in the back if they have a 8 piece chicken which is my fall back option since they don't have what I want. He comes and tells me that they have 3 wings, 3 legs and a breast. I tell him that's fine and all but that only adds up to 7, so ill take another Mushroom Melt. The dude looks at me confused and says, "so you don't want the 8 piece?" With a tone like he did me some kind of favore by asking the cook if they had it, and tell him, "well, no. Because it only added up to 7." I don't know what it is with people working cash registers that can't seem to add. I guess next time I'll to come more prepared.

It's upscale fast-food. The food is alittle pricey ($5-10), but worth it. Burgers are juicy and the fries are great! They have a good selection of entrees. Inside, it's a cozy family-oriented place. It is well lit and the walls are not loaded with various pictures and stuff like you'd find at Portillos or Applebys. The tables are clean and well kept. They are never super busy, so it's very dependable when you can't find a place to go to on a Friday or Saturday evening. They have really good frozen custard and shakes (called concretes) for dessert afterward.

I've always loved Culvers and was thrilled when they opened one in Bridgeview, but they must purposely look to hire the worse staff ever. They just don't seem to care about their customers at that location. Orders come to the table wrong, and even when the place is empty, no one seems to want to wait on you. Tonight, I ordered a tall concrete with bananas, butterscotch, and for a $1 more..cashews. I literally watched employees argue over who would be forced to wait on me. When I finally got the ice cream treat, I left the store only to find that the concrete contained NO CASHEWS, NO BUTTERSCOTCH, and only a tiny bit of bananas. I paid over $7 for a cup of vanilla ice cream. Very disappointing. I'm giving up on this place. The management really needs to change.m
