Seriously, who knew you could eat here without ordering an 8 pound ham for the holidays...who knew?! Well, this girl, that's who. :) I found out when my favorite little frozen yogurt/smoothie place had a big "no credit card sales today, cash only" neon sign up in the front window. Bummer! I usually carry no more than $10 in cash on me and that day I was holding more like $3 (bottom of the purse change included). Well, next door Honeybaked was booming...I did a quick mental check and realized we were nowhere near Easter or Christmas so there had to be something amazing going on inside...and I was STARVING with not enough time to find an atm before I was due back at work. I walked in and saw the menu and it definitely intrigued me. I ordered a box lunch, where you get to pick what kind of bread, meat, cheese, toppings and sauce in addition to sides (there are a bunch to choose from but I got the broccoli and bacon salad and potato salad) and a drink (bottled goodness or a fountain and being a diet coke junkie at the time I went for the fountain). Anyway, the portions (sandwich at least) were HUGE. I ate half of the sandwich, the pickle and broccoli salad and took the rest home for dinner. It was DELISH! Totally yummy and came in at under $8 (for basically 2 meals). So, so so good. Also, they have (had) a promotion where if you came in after 4pm and all day on Sunday you could get 2 box lunches for $12 so my hubby and I got dinner there recently and it was just as good. We get a ham here every Christmas (courtesy of my husband's employer) and my family has come to expect this yummy tradition (and it is soooooo yummy) but I am so happy to know we can enjoy (at a MUCH lower cost) anytime of the year. I am definitely a fan.

Deliciously fresh ham and cheeses, good for a quick lunch sandwich. Their side salads were very good as well .Bob Dylan was playing over the dining area speakers, which was a unique and welcome twist, however I believe this was purely at the discretion of the two young fellas working that day. Will go back.

It was good and will be back for more. Update coming. I like this place more than 4 stars but need to go back to give it more. What I will say is that I liked the selection. The place is clean and as for service it is good. It is a excellent place for lunch. The only thing I didn't like was how sticky the tables are. I think it is the finish not cleanliness. The sides are really small and not worth paying $2.49 more for two and a drink. Essentially you are paying more for a small drink and a taste. The sides need to be at least twice the size for what is charged.

Went for a late afternoon lunch and was very impressed. We had the box lunch which included sandwich, side, cookie and drink. The total for two was $20, a little expensive but did receive a very good product. I had the ham sandwich which was their signature Honeybaked spiral ham, the sandwhich was stacked very high with ham. I would also recommend the potato salad for a side and the chocolate macadamia nut cookie. If you do live in the area, going their rewards club, some good bonuses are available.

I had a bunch of friends in college that thought this was the greatest lunch spot everrrrr (the extra R's are to show the overly dramatic manner in which they spoke.) I went a few times but back then, I didn't have enough money to spend $7-8 on a sandwich and usually just relied on crappy cafeteria food. In my search for something different for lunch today, I decided to go to Honeybaked Ham for a box lunch. I was surprised to see a sign that boasts of 2/$12 box lunches after 4 PM because I rarely remember sales or specials happening here. I went with roast beef and provolone on a croissant. I was majorly bummed to find out that they don't carry Havarti cheese anymore, as that's probably my favorite cheese and it always made their sandwiches 100x better. You get your choice of two sides which includes cookies, chips, pretzels, pasta salad, potato salad or a cookie. I went with the potato and pasta salad. I forgot that I really don't like their potato salad. The potatoes are too hard -- I prefer mine to be soft, almost mushy -- and it's not the mustard variety. The pasta salad, however, was excellent and had big chunks of cheddar cheese. Although $8 seems a bit steep for lunch, it included a drink, pickle, 2 sides and a sandwich, so I guess that wasn't too bad. I saw a sign that they had a new ham reuben which I've never seen before. Wish I would have saw that before I ordered or I would have tried it! I will have to add Honeybaked Ham to my lunch rotation from now on.
