From the food, to the wine, to the events, ambience and staff, by far the best place in town. Chef David and Kelly make an incredible pair with their knowledge and palates. I've never had such good food, nor had it be paired so well with amazing wine. Love this place!

First night back at 102 in a long time... and it if it wasn't for Josie and Dustin I would have not had an epic date night. These are the people you want working at your local wine bar. Josie became our best friend as she fired off wine pairings and never left us with a dry glass. Super sweet and attentive. If it wasn't for Dustin I would not have a new favorite moscato. The next time you go to this place strap yourself in for a phenomenal experience. Thanks again Josie and Dustin, will be back again soon!

The food absolutely WOW! Plated and presented beautifully but then the tasting even more extraordinary!! I like that the menu changes so that there is also something else wonderful and fresh to discover. Very good wine pairing recommendations too to accompany the dishes. Well worth the trek Chicagoland.

Love this place. The chef really knows what he is doing. I was very surprised to see such amazing dishes in the small town of Bourbonnais. The owners were great too. They clearly have a good thing going on here. If you like wine and high quality food (at very reasonable prices), you need to come and check this place out.

I was in town for business and based upon the Yelp reviews I thought I would give this place a try. I was very pleased with the food, service, and decor! The specials were great! Looking forward to a return visit when I am back in town.

We have been going here since they opened and every time is amazing! We try to visit every month or so since the menu changes on a regular basis. We love that everything is always made fresh and from scratch. It really separates this place from the rest around the area. We recently went for a 'chef dinner' and it is something I would strongly recommend everyone try. It was a 5 course meal with wine and beer pairings. Great value for what you get. In my opinion this place has the best food in Kankakee county

I no longer live in Bourbonnais, but if there's one thing I miss, it's Flight 102. Prior to Flight 102's opening, I drove to Chicago if I wanted an all-star meal. That all changed when my 60-minute trip turned into a 60-second trip. It's a culinary gem, better than any spot south of Chicago...heck, it could compete with most Chicago restaurants. I still dream about one special I had: the "bacon burger" (pork belly) on a homemade brioche bun. Every bite was an explosion of flavor that I'm still trying to relive. EVERYTHING is artfully done at Flight 102, and I hope people appreciate this treasure. If not, come to Indianapolis -- I'll welcome you with open arms!

This place was amazing. Delicious food and prices. Def my new favorite place to eat out here! Colin was super knowledgable and professional while still being cool and making us feel right at home. The duck dish was so creative and designed to look like a garden! We will most definitely return!

What a gem! The type of place you would travel to Chicago to find. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Fantastic food! Very creative dishes. Specifically loved the flatbread. This will be in the rotation of our regular spots indeed!!

The place is cute on the inside considering its in a strip mall. The food was good but completely overpriced for being in a strip mall. However, the atmosphere is completely unwelcoming. If you are new the staff looks at you like you have 3 eyes. I will never go back because of the "you don't belong here" vibes it has.

I started with the Preserved Olives. The foccocia bread was delicious, very fresh and flavorful. The olives came whole, which surprised me because I thought they would've came chopped, so I sent them back to be chopped so I could spread them over my bread. Great combo if you ask me. The staff was very accomodating. I had the Seared Scallops for my small plate. Veggies were fresh not frozen, and not over cooked, which I really appreciate since I like my asparagus to snap when I bite into it. The scallops were a little hard to slice with a butter knife, but tasted very good especially sopped in the yellow pepper puree. Mmm... For dessert I had the Toasted Pound Cake. OMG so good! For every bite I took a little of everything. Sweet but not too sweet, The whipped creme had a sweet flavor to it, not bland like most, Vanilla ice cream, with two different berry puree's that were so yummy. Delicious! My daughter had the Meyer Lemon Sorbet, which she did not like. My husband and I tried it and the sorbet was very tart, maybe it's fresh made and peel got left in? I don't know, but I would definitely recommend the pound cake over the sorbet. For her small plate she had the Hanger Steak which was delicious and tender. The spinach was fresh and tasty in the steak rue. The onions were a little on the sweet side for me, but I loved the shoestring potato garnish on the top. Surprisingly tasty. My husband had the Smoked Salmon which was ok. He commented when we left that he thought they should have a smoked filet instead of thin slices. I'm not a huge fan of smoked salmon to begin with, and this appetizer did not turn me. It tasted a little fishy to me, but maybe that's what it's supposed to taste like? I don't know. The bill was a little pricy, but if you're out treating yourself it's worth it. ;)

Even though we love good food and good wine, it took us a long time to get to Flight 102. We tend to go out a lot on Sundays and Mondays, when this establishment is closed. We were not at all disappointed with the food. It was tasty, flavorful, and decently portioned. My burger (part of a weeknight special priced right) was just a touch to oily for my taste, but it was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The salad, cheese platter and other items were also excellent. The wine was also very good. The house Shiraz was balanced with a nice finish, and the port flight showed vertical contrasts within the same house of port. We were disappointed by the service. While he was a nice enough guy, It was perfunctory and, to be honest, rushed. At these price points I expect more polish and better pacing, and we didn't get that. I felt like we got Steak 'N Shake pacing instead. Lastly, I liked the decor. I didn't care for the mid-top tables, however, which were not comfortable. Next time I would try to book a room with a couch or comfy chairs, despite the minimum. And the music playing that evening was not conducive to a wine bar. All in all, great bread and okay circuses. We will be back at some point, though it may not make our regular rotation.

The wine was great, but we were really impressed with the taste of the food. We especially enjoyed the pork medallions plate and the pound cake dessert. Good atmosphere, too! We will definitely return.

Great wine, great food, great atmosphere. Fantastic fresh ingredients prepare by an excellent chef. I would expect to pay twice what I did in Chicago or a bigger city. Definitely a must.

We are from the Chicago burbs and came to Flight 102 for a 'gathering'. While it was a haul for us, what a pleasant surprise. Despsite it's strip mall location, this is as sophisticated as it gets and without the Chicago prices. Loved the Thai scallops which were presented just beautifully. Atmosphere comfortable and welcoming. Staff accomodating. Next time we in the mood for a road trip..Flight 102 will be a stop!

Cute place, pretty lousy bartender. After 10 minutes of us sitting down he approached our table seeming as if he was put out by having to take our drink order. After we ordered, 10 more minutes went by before he sent another server over to re take our order because the bartender forgot it. Once our drinks were served we asked for water, again had to order it twice because the bartender never brought it and again sent the server over with our water. One nice sever was sent to our table multiple times to compensate for our bartenders mistakes. Bartender had no social skills or ability to crack a smile or even pretend he wanted to be there. We were going to eat but menu was limited and pricey. 2 stars are for the cute curly haired server with the glasses; Who came over to our table before we left to tell our friends, not us, that basically the bartender f-ed up and he is comp'ing their drinks. Nice gesture but again ... Wrong. Our drinks took 25mins not our friends. Also would have appreciated the bartender letting us know what wine was what in the flight.
