The sushi bar with no name! No, seriously, the restaurant is Sushi Bar. The sushi is pretty sharp, too :) Service stands out- my tea wasn't even close to empty at any point during my lunch. It was a great experience, I really enjoyed the place. The name is silly, everything else about this restaurant is spot on!

Tonkatsu ($9.95 w/soup, salad, and 4pc cali roll) - 2 stars. Small and thin. I've tried a lot of katsus in my lifetime, and this is the worst. Spring rolls - 3 stars Service was kinda weird in that when I went to pickup, the employee pointed to the bag of food on the table behind him. I thought he would hand me them since he was closer, but he just pointed again. So I had to walk past and behind him to get my carryout order.

The shushi here it is so delicious! We have order a few times to go. The menu is a bit confusing. If there is anything they should do is make the manu more clear and simple. Other than that, they are very quick for very good quality sushi. I'll definitely come here again and recommend to friends.

This is my absolute favorite place to get sushi. The staff is attentive, the sushi is amazing, AND it's reasonably priced! I get different rolls every time I go and I've never had anything I didn't like. Well maybe the mackerel... but that's not their fault :) I can't say much about the rest of their menu because I always stick to sushi with crab rangoons for an appetizer! You would never know what a great place it is from the outside, but I promise it's worth checking out.
(5)Kristyn P.
Good quality sushi for a decent price. I order take out at least twice a month, they offer decent pieces of protein in their rolls which helps balance out their pricing. Not to mention the rolls are Super Yummy!

I went here once before ages ago for sushi and it definitely didn't stand out in my mind. I just went back this week because my mom had got a groupon or something of the sort, so we figured we'd go check it out since she knows I like sushi. I ordered two plain rolls, salmon avocado and regular tuna - I know, I'm so boring. But I like quality sushi that speaks for itself so it doesn't need all the sauces and tempura and all that jazz. The salmon and avocado was actually good, I wish I had ordered two of those instead of the tuna. I just don't think it was great, wouldn't get it again (and I order tuna sushi all the time). I had wanted to order spicy tuna, but I asked if it was the chopped up tuna or the actual pieces and it was the chopped kind. For some reason I never really like those so I didn't try it, it might be good - I guess I won't risk finding out. He probably could have offered to put some spicy mayo on my tuna roll for a bit extra or something but that didn't happen. My mom ordered teriyaki chicken, which we both thought was good - it came with zucchini mixed in which works for me. The service here....I don't know how to explain it. They aren't very friendly, but they aren't rude. It just feels a bit awkward in a sense. Overall, it was beyond worth it with the online deal. If I was dying for sushi I might stop in to grab a salmon avocado roll since it's super closeby for me.

I've been here before for dine in and it was great. Service was good, food came out quick! Really nothing to complain about.... Until you order out. I walk in, starving to pick up sushi after a long day. "Oh we don't have summer roll" oh. Thanks lady it's now you decide to tell me? After my pick up time?! Aren't you suppose to call me or something???
(3)Brian K.
Pretty good sushi at a decent price. Always high quality, fresh fish. If your not a big fish fan, I Especially like their chicken tempura rolls. Try em out
(4)Natalie F.
Not the first time I have eaten here but it will be my last. Had the 3 maki lunch special yesterday all I can say is ewwww. The fish tasted and smelt fishy. My girlfriend had eaten here last week and said the same. Personally I think this place is a step above store bought sushi.
(2)Eldin R.
Great food, good service. Drinks are a little pricey though...1.50 for a can of soda? hmm... But yeah, most of the bad reviews had to do with their sushi being 'fishy'..? Guys...you DO know that sushi usually is made with fish right?........ ADERP
(5)Misty S.
I feel like they have lowered the prices of their specialty rolls and added new ones. I must say, they are pretty tasty! There's one called hand grenade that I want to go back and order again.

Has there ever been an upgrade from two to four stars? I feel I should eat crow as my previous review was kind of harsh, and now, after a few more visits, Sushi Bar is a fave. It's a small sushi house but nice. If you don't want to talk to your dining partners, there are 3 flat screen TV's that are usually on so you can watch whatever sporting event they have on. Service is nice, helpful without hovering. As there was a stretch when I couldn't eat sushi, I came back a few times to try their cooked items--sticking with shrimp and veggie tempura. Their shrimp and veggie tempura is very good. Fresh shrimp and veggies, not overly cooked or overly battered in tempura, the food arrives piping hot. Very tasty and well-made. Now that I'm able to partake in sushi--I came back to test the fresh sushi waters again. As mentioned by other reviewers, their maki menu is large and inventive. I prefer nigiri, so I stuck with that--yellow tail, super white tuna, shrimp, unagi, squid. All very fresh and good quality. The rice perfectly done. Super White tuna is my favorite and their SW here is delicious--buttery smooth. One thing to note--on weekdays they close between their lunch hours and dinner hours so best not to dine in close to the end of lunch hours. They will not wait for you to finish your lunch and will expect you be gone by the end of their posted lunch hour. If you don't get the hint, perhaps them shutting off the lights and packing their belongings is more of an indicator. I get it, I get it. I won't make that mistake again.

I had such high hopes for this place after reading some the reviews here. Sadly, I did not like the sushi here. I ordered carryout; maybe that was a mistake to do. But the food was promptly made and ready for me when I went to pick it up. So this place gets a star for that. The sushi I ordered was drowned in mayonnaise; I knew it would be topped with it, but it overwhelmed the rest of the sushi roll. The rice tasted old and it was fairly dry. The Philadelphia rolls were almost a copy of the rolls I have bought at the deli section of Target. I wanted to try something different from the place I usually order, but I won't be going back here again.
(1)Joe M.
The food is ok/good and prices are reasonable. The restaurant itself needs some serious updating though.
(4)Brian S.
So sad to see bad reviews! Yes the sakura roll is swimming in warm mayo (a guilty treat) the Philly roll here is the same as a philly roll anywhere else (that's why it is a Philly roll ...lol) and no ...this is not a "contemporary" sushi spot. I have been coming here on and off for eight years. Of the dozens of sushi spots I've been to across the country ..Sushi Bar is at the top of the list! The owners and staff are great, and most have been around all of that time. It is always great to see the same smiling faces every time I go ... Old school must-gets are the hand grenades, volcano roll and Hanks special! If you are looking for bells and whistles, go to Sushi Samba Rio, Swordfish or Starfish. If you are looking for great sushi, at a great price...come here!
(5)Thomas T.
I come here every once in a while because it's in close proximity to where I live. Not really too big of a fan of the crazy sushi that some places make but this is pretty legit. I guess I'm kind of biased but get the Tom roll. Pretty delicious. Usually I just get bento boxes though. Steak and shrimp tempura is where it's at. Tip though, boxes come with vegetable tempura, so unless u really want 3 shrimp tempura, get something else because you'll get more steak or chicken rather than just 3 shrimp. Mild complaint, it's 2011 already so they should get a contract with like coke or pepsi so I can get some free refills man. 1.50 for a can of coke? bah
(4)Megan M.
My brother and I always try to con our dad to take us here after church on Sundays. We've been there so many times now that the owner and servers know us (we're very persuasive people...thanks dad!). Every so often, the chef will send us a roll of his choice. Yep, we have the hook ups here. Ha.. I'm a sashimi, nigiri, chirashi kinda girl, so that's my usual order when I go here ($15 during lunch). I have had the teriyaki lunch boxes a couple times which are really good too. The chicken ($9) can be kinda dry, so go salmon or beef ($10). They have a huge selection of rolls to choose from, but aren't always listed in the menu. Grab the carry out menu when you walk in, it has more sushi options than the dine-in one (not sure why) and there are pictures! Who doesn't love pictures. Oh, and dinner prices can run pretty steep - so stop in for lunch specials instead. See you on Sunday Sushi Bar!

This place is a bit of a mixed bag. The first red flag that went up was the menu. Wow, it's epic. Like Cheesecake Factory epic. It's a little overwhelming at first and you can tell immediately that it's trying a bit too hard. If they could shorten their menu version of War and Peace down to a two pager, they'd easily have better control over what they're trying to do. Sushi itself had a lot of fun flavors going on. We did try a few different things and I was happy to find out that it was more hits than misses. Pet peeve though, the sushi rice. I come from a family where my grandmother measures down to the half teaspoon of water needed to get her rice JUST so. This place, not so much. I'm not sure they're rinsing the starches off or soaking it long enough, but it's coming out way too tough. Still, if you're able to work through that, there's a lot interesting things going on otherwise. Service is great, the ambiance is great. Only nit-pick there is the music. Or should I say, musak. I think we spent just as much time trying to figure out what bad 80's song was going to come up next. Worth a couple visits but that's about it.

I used to come here all the time. I received a $40 gift certificate as a birthday gift and they REFUSED to take it. I had called ahead as I now live in the city and wanted to confirm that they would take it before I made the drive. I was told they would, of course, take the gift certificate. They basically stole money from my friend who bought it. I will never eat there again. I felt sorry for the waitress that had to deliver the bad news. The least the cowardly manager or owner could have done is come out and do his own dirty work. Bad customer service. They do not care about their customers. If they don't care about their customers I doubt they care about their food any longer.

The food they serve is not a revelation but with great service and reasonable prices, it's a great place to call home and become a regular. I have been here many times and they have stayed consistent. Keep in mind I have only sat at the bar, so service may be different if you sit at the tables. -Food- Katsu: They serve chicken or pork katsu. It is enough for two people. You can't really screw up katsu and hoisin sauce. Very crispy and very tender. Hand Grenade: It is a pringle and on top if it a mix of tuna, Sriracha, mayo, and crispy bits of tempura and panko with an additional sliver of tuna on top. It's a nice tasty snack or appetizer. I believe they serve these in twos or threes. Chirashi: I have often been disappointed in many Chirashis from other restaurants. Many places do not put roe into the Chirashi, but this place does and it's delicious! Seaweed salad: Wasn't memorable. Wasn't bad, wasn't exceedingly good. It was just okay. A la Carte Sushi/Sashimi and rolls: The sushi and sashimi is prepared well. As for rolls I recommend the Dragon Roll, for you non-adventurous types the Police Roll. They have a very nice selection of rolls. The only disappointment is they stopped carrying Otoro. -Service- Sitting at the bar the service from the short haired Itamae was excellent. He will remember your favorites/orders from previous visits... even if its only your 3rd. He will also occasionally prepare seaweed salads and hand grenades for you free of charge. What service! I have yet to let the Itamae choose my selections for me (Omakase). But I probably will next visit! The wait staff around the bar is very attentive and almost never lets your teacup go empty! The older of the bunch is very friendly and will also remember you easily which makes to provide a much more personal and pleasurable experience. Overall consistency and service is the star at this sushi restaurant and has elevated it from just a 3 (A-OK) star to a 4 (Fan) star.
(4)Joey L.
Great food. The owner is a nice man. I use to work right next to his store and if I was short on cash he had no problem helping me out. The hand grenades are the besttt ( please try them)
(4)Rana G.
The sushi and friendliness of the owners is great! Been here several times and would definitely recommend it to others.
(5)Matthew S.
If you want a spicy roll, don't order the special they have right now, the Mexican Jalapeno roll. It was not spicy at all and it was not well put together. The other people I cam with looked like they were enjoying their rolls and boxes, so I think I just ordered the worst roll.
(3)T L.
Was just here for lunch had the Spicy Tuna Rainbow $11.95 Roll was small and lacked flavor. The fish on top were shavings. The entire experience stunk.

Great sushi is hard to come by in Chicago, let alone the suburbs, so when I try a new sushi place, I look for 2 things: clean-tasting fish and well-made sushi rice (you'd think these are a given, but not so, especially in the Midwest). I'm not a big of trendy and "out-of-the-box" maki rolls, but I do enjoy a fun creation once in a while. What I appreciate about Sushi Bar is that they have a large selection of tasty rolls to choose from but they also execute the classics well. Whether it's the amazingly delicious and unique Volcano Roll (deep fried with cream cheese and spicy mustard sauce) or a quintessential Rainbow Roll, you're sure to satisfy your craving for a one-of-a-kind experience and for good sushi. What makes this restaurant great rather than just good is their attention to detail. The restaurant is clean, the service is always friendly, we never wait long for the food to arrive, and even the hot tea isn't so hot you can't pick up the cup or drink it for 15 minutes. They add to their menu frequently and their hot kitchen menu is always a hit with the non-sushi-lovers as well. If you're like me and you're more of a suburban roamer and can't stand having to go the city for good sushi, I strongly recommend Sushi Bar. You won't be let down.
(5)Rhonda G.
As I write this review i'm watching a straight to video Van Damme movie on cable. That has nothing to do with this review but that will be the only mildly humorous addition to this review. Staff is attentive and borderline annoying. sushi is mediocre and the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls are awful minced mush. I visit friends in the burbs often, we won't be going back here.
(2)Emma O.
Kinda come here wayyyyy to often that it practically drains my bank account. lol. I am not a big roll person so I usually stick to sushi or sashimi. Typically order the 10 piece Salmon special or the Sake Don. Both very delicious. I dont eat in there often but when I do its nice and quiet. I usually do take out and take it to work. Very good food. Good wait-staff.
(4)David G.
The sushi is pretty good. Had a lunch special that included six pieces of sushi and a California roll for a pretty good price. The experience was strange, though. We were being hurried because for some reason they were closing at 3:00 PM. No explanation. They just warned us right as we were putting in our order. We were given the impression that we couldn't stick around a few minutes after close. They started turning the lights off and packing up their things right at 3:00 PM. I felt like I was in a competitive sushi eating event because I was eating so quickly. I really hope this isn't a common thing. I really like these guys. I've been here twice before and the service is usually great.

I'd like to think of myself as a sushi expert, having grown in a family of sushi chefs and Japanese restaurants. This place...made me really sad. If anyone knows me, I am a lemon water fanatic, always requesting a few pieces everywhere I go. My awful experience began with rotten lemons...really? But I brushed it off because maybe just maybe it was one unlucky lemon out of many. I tried to be optimistic about what may come next (although yelp review wasn't so great, I was referred by a friend who's been attending for years). I already yelled at him before I started writing this. Appetizer: 8pc salmon sashimi. Usually I devour this...not this time. The fish was semi frozen, there was no sweet melting going on in my mouth at all, if it weren't for the fresh sliced cucumber garnish, I would have stopped after one piece. Main: 2 negi hamachi makis. This is my favorite, with a request to add green onions, because obviously they don't know how well they pair together...anyway.. I was sooooo sad...I ordered 2 because usually 1 doesn't satisfy my craving but I had to force myself to eat even one. The yellow tail fell apart in my mouth. Not melted, FELL APART. I had to douse it in wasabi and ginger, and did I mention their low-sodium soy sauce wasn't even low-sodium?! Not only did their fish suck, they commited fraud. Spicy scallop maki: this one was okay, it better have been since it was drenched in spicy mayo, but I need to complain about how skimpy it was. The roll was filled with rice, which they tried to hide but got caught because since I don't like to eat much rice a lot of times I'll just take out the stuffing and OH LOOK 2 tiny chopped pieces of scallop and 500 grains of rice (just an estimate but I don't think that's an overstatement..it might even be an understatement cuz I don't really know what 500 grains look like so they're lucky). Caterpillar maki: it was okay. But eel is cooked and avocado is good on its own and you can't go wrong with unagi sauce. Dessert: I was pissed, but I used a coupon that required a certain amount to be spent so I got green tea ice cream. If it weren't for this I wouldn't be sane enough to write this review right now. But I'm.not giving them credit for store-bought ice cream. If I really wasted my time writing this then you should probably take my word for it. But a lot of people don't know the difference between good and bad sushi so...yeah.
(1)Lori S.
I have been to a lot of different sushi places and one thing about this quiet little place is that it is ALWAYS delicious, fresh and consistent every time.
(5)Nichole C.
This place is great in many ways: RIDICULOUSLY nice and attentive staff, cheap prices, fast service dine in or take out, good location, and excellent miso soup. The sushi is just okay though. The rolls aren't super flavorful and the contents are mashed up into a salad-like consistency. You also have to use a ton of wasabi to make the spicy rolls spicy. Overall, decent on the run, but not my favorite.
(3)Kevin J.
Refused to accept our groupon even though it does not expire for 5 months. I Used come here alot but wont be back again.
(1)Dj Nightwolf ..
Unagi? Yes, please! Spicy Tuna? Oh yeah! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE me some sushi! I've been here several times and each time I'll try something new, but I'll always start off with Unagi & Spicy Tuna. The Unagi is perfect for easing somebody into sushi. I always tell my friends that it's like eating BBQ chicken on rice. The Spicy Tuna is pretty good too, just enough kick to it, but not too much to the point that it'll destroy your mouth. I recommend the Salmon Skin Roll and highly recommend the Philadelphia Roll. I LOVE the Philadelphia Roll! I know it's just salmon, avocado, & Philadelphia cream cheese, but for some reason I keep thinking smoked ham whenever I eat it and I can't get enough of it! This place is nothing fancy, but the sushi, in my experience so far, has been pretty darn good, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices aren't outrageous. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area and need to get my sushi fix. Holla!!!â„¢
(4)Scot G.
I love this place. The service is great with an extremely friendly staff, it is clean, and they have some very creative rolls. Try the Mark's Roll (our favorite and they remember everytime I go) and the Holiday Roll. I also enjoy the Spicy Tuna Roll. The sushi is good and very reasonable priced. My go to place for fun sushi.
(5)M M S.
The restaurant is clean with plain/typical décor (nothing special about the décor, but it wasn't terrible either). It's just like any other small sushi restaurants in any suburban strip malls. Interesting to note that they have quite a number of "House Special" sushi named for people who I assume are their frequent and/or regular customers. Meal came with Miso soup and green tea. Waiter was friendly, and attentive. If you are looking for authentic Japanese/sushi restaurant, this is not the place. Most of the sushi seem to be catered more for western taste (heavy with mayo). Maybe next time, I'll try asking to ease up on the mayo or any other heavy sauce (ie. Honey Mustard). But, the food/sushi are decent. It was close by. Prices are reasonable. It was not super crowded (for Friday night). We will go back and, maybe, try the non-sushi items (with winter is coming, Udon sounds good) from the menu.
(3)PHIL S.
Good place for quiet Sushi night. Close, reasonable prices and fresh.....they have a huge selection of rolls and very good Miso Soup. Carryout is also a breeze.
(4)Kelly R.
I LOVE this place! The super white tuna is phenomenal!!!!! It absolutely just melts in your mouth. Ive tried a good variety of their specialty rolls and havent been disappointed. I'm ordering again tonight and will be getting the spring rolls, volcano roll and a TC roll. Super super fresh sushi!! Yum!
(5)Natalie F.
Not the first time eating here but will be my last. Had the 3 Maki lunch special yesterday and all I can say is that is ewww. The fish had a fishy smell and taste to it and just tasted blah. My girlfriend was in a few days before and had said the same thing. I pretty much think this place is a step above store bought sushi. Dont waste your money.
(2)Ben M.
My point system: 50 points available for food, 25 available for service 25 and 25 available for atmosphere = 100 Total possible points. 1-30 = 1 star, 31-60 = 2 stars, 61-80 = 3 stars, 81-95 = 4 stars & 96-100 = 5 stars. I love sushi & this place was a decent little restaurant in the burbs of Chicago. Food = 30 out of 50 Before I selected my main I was given a complimentary bowl miso soup. It was delightfully seasoned and a good light start to the meal. For my meal I wanted to have several different rolls and they allowed me to order half sized rolls (Extra points for you). I ordered "tasting" portions of the tuna & avocado roll, caterpillar roll, spider roll (no spiders actually in the roll :)) & the tuna & pepper roll. The presentation was nice. They placed two of the 1/2 size rolls on a wooden plank with the wasabi & pickled ginger. The planks were wet which caused my wasabi to become runny and leak all over the plank and that is really my only big complaint about the presentation/food. The fish was decent (It is the Midwest) but it was not anywhere close to what I can get at the nicer sushi bars here in St. Louis. The rolls were not over complicated and they were not drenched in some unnecessary sauce (extra points for you). When I eat sushi I like to have the pure flavors of the fish, rice & vegetables. Simple is almost always better & they did that here. Over all I would say it was good but not crazy good. Service = 20 out of 25 The service was very quick. My drink never ran empty and I was given a complimentary bowl of miso soup. The sushi was handed to me over the sushi bar counter as soon as it was complete. Overall the best part of the meal was the attention given to me by the service staff. Atmosphere = 20 out of 25 The atmosphere was that of a small neighborhood sushi restaurant. Standard Japanese decorations hung on the walls and everyone was very friendly. Most of the customers who came in while I was eating seemed to be regulars - The wait staff new most of them on a first name basis. I got to sit at the sushi bar itself and chat with the 3 sushi chefs working that day. That is always a plus in my mind. Total Points = 70 Total Stars = 3
(3)Lynne B.
This is my go-to place for Japanese take-out. It's your pretty standard no-frills Japanese restaurant and food, but they do have a lot of variety on the menu so you certainly can explore some new things here that you won't find at other's. But, they do the standard no-frills stuff very well-- tempura, terriaki, maki rolls, miso soup and rice. Prices are reasonable and service is fast.
(4)Kim C.
Gosh, Ive been going to this place for years now. The staff is friendly and remembers their regulars. A little high on their special rolls, but its worth going back for the quality and atmosphere. Aside from their sushi, their soups and sides are just as delicious. make a trip and try this restaurant, im confident you will find something to please you.
(5)Richard B.
Been coming here for many, many years. Always sit in the same spot. Always order the same (-ish) things. Fantastic, fresh and great atmosphere. Worth the money and time.
(5)JJ L.
2.5 stars. Sashimi was terrible. I mean baddd. The salmon one was fine, the rest were awful. The udon was pretty bad as well, amongst the least good ones I have ever had (the tempura it came was was solid). We got a special roll that had spicy tuna and unagi and that was fantastic. Really well done. Service was OK but nothing special. Speed of bringing out our order was quite impressive as well. So my summary: stick to the rolls that have flavor added (eg spicy ones, ones with avacado, ones with sauces).
(2)Ally C.
The visit here was average. My husband & I ordered the following: 2 spicy Scallop hand rolls - Delicious 1 dragon roll - a little heavy on the cream cheese Salmon teriyaki box - salmon was on the thin & dry size, but the plus to the thin side...no bones! Sashimi Deluxe - husband enjoyed it, although for the price, a couple of more pieces wouldn't hurt. The miso soup & the salad, that came with the meal were fine. The soup wasn't salty & the salad wasn't watery, which is my most found flaw with such restaurants that are not too authentic. The service, for a Friday night, was attentive. It wasn't very busy, a lot of people picking up take out, and they seem to really know their 'regulars'. With all of the orders being picked up, we had at least 3 people waiting on us. So with our meals, & 1 coke can, close to a hundred bucks with tip. Not quite a fan, but my visit was A-ok!
(3)Tony P.
I come here for lunch at least once a week with my coworkers. This is a great place when you want great service, simple selection and a good time. Kenny is a great guy and always treats us like family. People may say this is a no thrill place but it is just nice to sit down order what you want and enjoy the food without all the extra stuff but take in the simplicity of it all. I personally recommend the Kamikaze! It is simply fantastic. You will never look at pringle chips the same! Also try the Super White Tuna! For a nice casual night out this place is perfect or even lunch. The lunch specials can be really good!
(4)Laura G.
I gave this place a few chances and I just can't do it anymore. The food doesn't taste fresh, they put so much mayo which makes me believe now that they are hiding that the fish isn't fresh. The place appears to be nice, nice looking bar, nice dining area but it just doesn't deliver. I tried taking a non sushi eater here to convert them and couldn't. I took them to a place like Sushi House in LaGrange and they were converted quickly. You can notice a huge difference in freshness. I also brought family with me when they were in town visiting and they weren't happy. They are sushi eaters as well and they didn't care for anything but one item and we ordered simple stuff. So I don't think its just me. I have found another place nearby and won't be going back.
(1)Rosie M.
I am a huge sucker for spicy salmon/tuna rolls. Every time I try a new place, I have to try their spicy rolls to see if their up to par. I was surprised to find that they probably have the best spicy salmon rolls in the Chicagoland area. The flavor is sensational (oh yeah, I did throw that term in there, thanks to all that Food Network watching haha) And the salmon is moist. They don't cheap out on the filling either. Each roll has a good amount of salmon in there too. I'm just surprised there's a pretty good sushi joint nearby my place :)
(4)Kris L.
Sushi Bar, the cleverly named spot lost in a strip mall off Army Trail road in Bloomingdale is surprisingly good. The salmon, suzuki, super white & hamachi were translucent and melted in your mouth. They had a super white salad in a slightly sweetend chili oil dressing with julienne vegtable so fine they were like silk thread. You could smell the ocean in the often-scary Uni which was excellent and the miso soup came with the sushi and was what you expect. Sitting at the sushi bar with its granite counter top of crystals so huge they looked like trilobites I could have been in downtown Chicago, NYC or Tokyo but it was just Bloomingdale.
(3)Christine S.
This place is just okay. There was nothing about the service or food that made me say "Wow" or even "maybe I'll try it again." Service was slow and two of the items were ordered were forgotten (salmon sushi and seaweed salad) but otherwise polite. They were very polite about getting us the items once we said something, but still. We didn't order that much and there wasn't that much to miss. I just wasn't that impressed with the presentation and quality of the food. The spicy tuna roll and another roll (a special, $13.95 roll made with lobster and cream cheese but I can't remember the name) were basically just mush. Sam's roll was okay and since it is pretty hard to screw up a California roll, those were also okay (but nothing to write home about). Overall, I probably won't return. I find my money and time are much better spent just a few miles away at Kinta in Carol Stream.

It was alright basically 2.5 stars. Was looking for a quick dinner and decided to order in this place. Loved the online order feature on their website and extensive menu. Fish was fine. Maybe not super fresh but definitely not bad - tuna was good and salmon was fine. Ordered a few rolls and the rainbow roll waas disappointing - fell apart as I grabbed pieces of the roll. Tuna roll was standard and was full of tuna for the price. Prices seem a little high but that's what you get for sushi. I'll order again when I need a quick sushi fix, but will likely do my splurging downtown.

I don't know if they were having an off night or what but I ordered takeout and it was awful! Got the Mr. Right Roll and Philly. Both were warm when I got home ( I live less than 10 min away) the rice was dry and the fish looked off. I couldn't finish the Mr. Right roll, too crumbly and I found pieces of bone in my fish. Not going to go there again. Very disappointed

We did takeout here not too long ago. I know that sushi is better when you are eating it right from the chef but sometimes I just want to relax with a movie and get my sushi fix. The sushi was fresh but some of the rolls we picked weren't exactly my favorite. In particular there was one that was topped with so much mayo sauce that it was definitely gross. Unfortunately it only takes one bad roll for me to go from great to so-so. The normal rolls that I get were great though - crunchy roll, spicy tuna, spicy salmon. On another note the miso soup was very good and for the price it was a good value. I will try this place again and steer clear from the rolls with mayo sauce on top.

This place has been around for 10 years now according to the menu, and the last time I'd been here was a friendship, a girlfriend, and a marriage ago. At least something in life stays refreshingly consistent. Good food. The menu has expanded dramatically from what I remember. Sushi was fresh and tasty, and while I typically don't order wacky stuff where I can admire the artistry I can appreciate a well executed spread. There was a goof where my tuna and yellowtail order quantity were reversed, but it was quickly resolved. I'd have appreciated if the rest of my food were left with me at the table while this was fixed instead of having it whisked away, but to their credit it was returned quickly.

I thought it was just.. ok. They were very attentive, but it was not very fresh. The salmon in particular tasted slightly less than fresh. This may have something to do with it not being very crowded when we were there. Also? It always makes me slightly suspicious when everyone in the restaurant speaks Mandarin, not Japanese.

Wow. I was shocked. The name and its location (strip mall) made me hesitate a long time. I walk in, and I see mostly non-Asian customers, and I hesitate again. I order and eat, and I am in heaven with a huge sigh of relief escaping from my lips. A decent sushi place...in the far west suburbs! Yahoo! I thought the specialty rolls were inventive and tasty -- they had quite a variety. Crab rangoon was tasty. They have a lot of other items on the menu, too, like bento boxes, etc. I enjoyed my super white tuna roll, spicy salmon roll and magura sashimi. My fiance enjoyed the Philadephia roll (I never partake with him because I think it is sacrilege to have cheese adjacent to raw fish), dragon roll, and eel specialty roll. We were stunned. I truly expected mediocre tasting sushi, but instead we ate a pretty darn good sushi meal. My only criticism is that there is way, way, way too much mayo in the spicy rolls -- I don't mind the spicy stuff but the mayo needs to be cut back. Service was terrific, too. And it was good to see Asian sushi chefs --- though not a guarantee of good sushi, it is always kind of a mark of credibility! Prices were reasonable, too. If it were closer to my home, I think I might be eating at this place every day! LOL...
(4)Kate K.
We order here about 3-4 times a year, however the last 2 times we were really underwhelmed. We order the dragon roll and it seems to get smaller and smaller every time we order it. We hope things will change, but if the rolls keep shrinking the way they do, we could make do somewhere else for the same price and end up with something a bit better/bigger for the price.
(3)Rachel D.
Service here isn't the best, the waitresses and waiters don't speak English too well and aren't very friendly. However, the sushi is very good as are the dinners The teriyaki beef and chicken is really good, the teriyaki sauce is homemade and not from a jar. I enjoy the spicy tuna rolls (the spicy sauce is mixed in with the tuna instead of plopped on top of the roll which I prefer) and the tuna avocado roll is really tasty. Not too pricey either and very casual.
(3)Jeff G.
I really enjoy this restaurant and have been coming here for years. Eva is awesome when she is working and the personality of everyone there is very welcoming. The comments on the Sakura roll from previous posters.. umm thats what it is, don't like mayo? Don't order it. I get one once in a while when I have saved up enough calories to indulge. I am fond of a lot of the special things they do there, but lately the fish does not seem quite as fresh and the cuts are a little small. Hopefully this will turn around.
(4)Neil R.
Great sushi! The sushi was fresh and tasty. we ordered alot of food, actually I ordered most of it and enjoyed every single bite. They even gave us a complimentary appetizer for the amount of food we ate. All the rolls were great. The one roll i wasn't a big fan of was the salmon skin which I usually enjoy but not in the form of a roll. The place is tiny and very very friendly. Service is touch notch. I also had the opportunity to watch a bowl game on their 2 flat screen tvs. Try it out, you will like it!
(5)Brian A.
My girlfriend and I go here every few weeks when we want to treat ourselves, as it is our favorite sushi bar. We always start out with the Kamikaze. Sounds weird, but its a pringles potato chip, topped with a sauce-infused panko bread crumb topping, topped with fresh tuna. Very delicious! Service has always been prompt and curtious.
(5)Stephanie F.
Yum--Sushi Bar is the best sushi place around. Ive tried a ton, and this one is the tops. Unique maki rolls, good prices, great service. You just cant go wrong here. Robber and Tom rolls are great! This place is definitely worth a trip.
(5)wendy c.
Currently pregnant so I could only eat cooked sushi rolls with crab and shrimp. What I did eat was really good. Ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer and one of them was frozen on the inside. Ewww. We told the server and they brought us new ones. I thought they would have taken the $4 off the check - Nope. However, all that being said my husband and I both really liked everything else. We will go back again but wish the service was better.
(3)Phay L.
Came here because of the reviews, but it's not what I had expected. I didn't really care about their service, I only cared about the quality of sushi rolls. I've gone to other Japanese restaurants and this place is not as great as other Japanese restaurants in the Chicago suburbs. The rolls were very small, with hardly any rice and the flavors/items were lacking, not really as described in the menu and not worth the price. Their rolls did not hold up, each roll that was picked up fell apart. It was poorly made. I'm very disappointed on the poor quality and amount of money I spend there.
(1)Daddy T.
Can't go wrong... Food is great, service is great. They remember us and our little girl since she was born. They remember she loves edamame and miso soup and has it in an instant at the table. If you have young ones you know how special this treatment can be. And we aren't a weekly customer either.
(5)Marcy M.
Well this is my first time eating here and I can't say I'm impressed. I tried some take-out here as a recommendation of a friend, and wish I had tried something else. I ordered 3 rolls to test them out, 2 house specials and 3rd was just a 'special'. The special roll smelled a bit fishy and didn't taste that great, and I normally love this fish. The other 2 seemed to have too much going on, which sometimes is fine, but it was a mushy mess. I can't say I'll be rushing back.
(1)Richard B.
Clean little place with great food and decent prices. The moment I was seated my drink order was taken and before I ordered any food I was served a hot bowl of miso soup--which was perfect today with the single digit temperatures and snow. I ended up ordering the chicken teriyaki bento box, a tempura roll, and an order of ebi. All of it was delicious. I usually run into really dry chicken with really tough/fatty pieces but their chicken was soft and definitely not dry. The box came with vegetable tempura. The tempura itself was good but what stood out to me was the dipping sauce. It was very flavorful and served warm. I've run into many that are cold or room temperature and don't have much taste, so this really made my meal. The roll was just plain awesome. That's all. =) The ebi ... I don't really remember the ebi. I was hungry and I had been craving sushi for a few days... I didn't take much (or any) time to savor them. I'll definitely be stopping by here more often for lunch.
(5)Erin R.
We had planned on going to an Italian restaurant nearby because we had a restaurants.com coupon, but oddly it wasn't a sit-down place so we drove down the rode and came across this place because we were famished. Pretty good sushi. We had miso soup, shrimp and vegetable tempura, police roll, spicy salmon roll, spider roll, tuna sashimi & mackerel sashimi. The police roll was our favorite. I've had better mackerel at other places though. Otherwise a pretty good meal. Good service and very clean.

I've never gone out for sushi and felt completely ripped off UNTIL NOW. Where some of you people get off giving this garbage more than 2 stars is beyond me. The miso soup they sling may as well be served in a glass because it's the most watery slop I've ever had. If you want to taste the lowest quality (i suspect watered down) hot sake, then look no further as the swill they serve is outrageously bad. The "half off lobster sushi" when you mention yelp is cold and so overly breaded I'd have gotten more flavor out of blended playground wood-chips. They had sea urchin on sale and I can see why, it was also the worst I'd ever had. My guess is it was going bad and they just wanted to unload it on the dumbasses they call regulars who don't know what good sushi tastes like. We also had a couple of the house sushi rolls which again, had zero flavor. Just a plain old tuna maki at an average quality sushi bar would have been infinity better. Their salmon roe was most certainly near spoiling as well as the salmon itself. The one and only redeeming quality was that the staff was prompt, but that means nothing when you're overcharging for the worst sushi on the planet. On my death bed my children will ask me "Dad do you have any regrets?" and I will most certainly say "Yes. Yes children, one time I ate at Sushi Bar & Japanese Restaurant in Bloomingdale Illinois, and it's haunted me my entire li...*"

My go-to place for a basic sushi dinner since it's close to home, very reasonable prices & the fastest service I've ever had for sushi. I don't know how they even have time to make rolls as quickly as they do. The spicy tuna - usually my favorite roll - is a little different here, the flavor is not quite the same as most other places although still decent. Their ebi tempura roll is great - large, with crab in it as well as the shrimp. Overall a decent place in an area (as others have mentioned) without many sushi options.
(4)Dave P.
Good sushi and pretty good service. I'm pretty sure with every meal comes a complimentary bowl of miso soup. When I come here with my girlfriend we usually order 2 or 3 rolls of sushi which are fairly priced. There is a wide variety of sushi to choose from and I haven't tried the dinner entrees. Lunch is cheap, you can get a bento box which includes a main entree, salad, a couple pieces of cali roll, tempura veggies, and miso soup. Their takeout is actually pretty fast as well. A couple of times I walked in there and ordered sushi which took about 10 minutes.
(4)Rachelle G.
One of the few, if not only sushi restaurant , by my parent's house. Very simple layout with friendly and attentive waitstaff. Rolls are simple but delicious! I'm a fan of some of their specialty house rolls. Reasonably priced, for 2 lunch bento boxes and one roll, our bill came to $25. Their bento boxes are a steal for $7 and include a main entree, salad, 3 pieces of California roll, tempura vegetables and miso soup! If you happen to be in this area, it's a good option if you happen to be craving sushi.
(4)Chrissi H.
I tried this place for the first time, using the online order feature. I was a little skeptical that the online order would actually work but to my pleasant surprise it did! My rolls were ready for me right on time. The food was good (I only ordered rolls this time.). The only reason I left off 1 star is because the dragon rolls tasted a bit fishy, and smelled that way too. The rest of the food was great. I will certainly be back!!
(4)Matt O.
Good food, a little expensive for atmosphere and they have messed up my on line orders a few times with no apology or comensation. Still good place for lunch
(3)Patty V.
Good sushi, decent service.A quiet little place that serves fresh fish at fair prices.Have never been there for lunch, only dinner. Not bad ,not great, good for a sushi craving without blowing the bank.
(3)Sarah T.
A nice surprise in the western 'burbs! We have a couple of regular places, but none were open on Memorial Day. Undeterred by a federal holiday, we were determined to feed our sushi craving, even if it meant trying a new spot. Sushi Bar fit the bill...very fresh, nice servers, and they gave us complimentary miso soup and a nummy spicy tuna salad, to boot! Following the advice of other Yelpers, we avoided anything with mayo, and were very pleased with our choices (Futomaki, ET, and Dragon rolls, plus unagi, squid, and yellowtail). The squid tasted a bit fishier than I think it should, but my husband shrugged me off, so it may just be me.
(4)Jaclyn C.
This has to be one of my favorite sushi places. The rolls are delicious, prices aren't bad and the servers pay attention. Spicy tuna and Philadelphia roll are my favorite. Definitely give this place a try!
(5)Haleema M.
Great rolls. Get their volcano roll, spicy girl roll, and hand grenades! The only thing I found odd about the volcano roll was the mustard! But other than that the roll was tasty. Service could have been better. Also, I didn't receive any complimentary miso soup! I was looking forward to that. I mean, this place isn't amazing but it's good for a quick sushi craving since Glendale Heights isn't the best place for sushi. I will definitely try their other rolls.
(4)Livi S.
Very good sushi, you get what you pay for and I absolutely love everyone who works there! The food comes out very fast and isn't too pricy! Definitely the best sushi in Bloomingdale.
(5)Meg G.
The fact that its in a small space location, the food is really good. My girlfriend when over here for a casual dinner with a promotional coupon. We bought a sashimi/sushi platter which comes with soup and salad. Its a little pricey but our Overall experience was great. Make sure to try there sake and the odon.
(4)Connie L.
I called to place a pick-up order and the worker did not understand me so he put me on hold and ultimately hung up on me. However, we still decided to order from Sushi Bar. I was unimpressed by the variety of sushi rolls on the menu and by the quality of the sushi. The fish was not that fresh and there was a lot of sauce in some of the rolls.
(2)Lefai K.
Came with here craving sushi...... left here still craving sushi :-/ What I like about this place was listening to the staff talking Cantonese to each other... it's not often I get to here it anymore. Wait... what? Cantonese?? I thought sushi was Japanese. The Dragon Roll had waaaaaaaay too much mayo on it. We had to scrape the tops of it before eating em. The roe was delicious and the service was good. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located at the end of the restaurant, the bathroom was somewhat clean. It had a working toilet and everything was in place. Sit or squat? Sit!
(3)Fred L.
We were at the sprint store and saw the Sushi Bar sign, we were hungry so we went in. The only other sushi place I have eaten at is Kabuki and we love that place. I asked the waitress a few questions and she was very short with us......we ordered the food and a few beers. The food did not have a lot of flavor but it was not to bad. The waitress brought us our check but seemed very rude, the bill was a little pricy for 2 beers and 2 sushi rolls. My recommendation to the people that work there.......Be nicer to your customers...you are in the food service business....
(2)Tianyan H.
Went to there because Groupon. Very friendly service, tasty rolls. Love it. Will go again.
(5)Krissy S.
I don't wanna hurt their business or get the staff into trouble but I just wanna state what happened(not) today. We were on our way to this place as I was trying to call them to place an order for pick up. First call, just ring ring ring and went to voicemail. I attempted a second call as I thought they are too busy to answer but that second call was to no avail either. Told my driving hubby about it and said let's just go ahead to the sushi bar and place the order there in person. Pulled in the parking lot and the "open" sign was blinking. My hubby entered the restaurant and came back to the car in 2 minutes. "That was quick?" I told him. He said nobody's around to help him and he saw feet from the table area. I did not ask him to elaborate. Apparently the staff were having a siesta that time. At least that's what it seemed to me. So we drove off. I hope that whoever's feet that was was just napping and did not faint, or something worse. That's all.
(1)Artemis L.
I eat here probably almost once a week and always get the vegetarian roll. I also recently tried the seaweed salad which was very good and will probably be ordering it regularly now. I've never had any problems with the food or service. I mean there's nothing mind blowing about it but you wouldn't expect there to be from a strip mall sushi place. They consistently have perfectly decent food that I enjoy and I will continue to come back.
(5)Sung Y.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. Fast attentive service and decent food. Ordered spicy tuna roll and Tempura Udon noodle soup. Will come back again.
(4)Kevin A.
Have eaten here many times. The Sushi is very fresh and clean. Service is great. I read a comment where they person couldn't explain it but thought it was weird or something. Maybe it's because the staff is all Japanese? Not everyone is actually from the US and shares all of our traits. I think the service is great. They actually remember me when I come back and are very welcoming. I'm a Sushi addict and this is one of the better places in the area. Really can't go wrong.
(4)Rochelle S.
I have to say the best tempura shrimp and veggies I have ever had. And the sushi my son had was the best he has had yet. We go as often as we can and will not try another place for shrimp or sushi!!! And have to love the free tea!
(5)Sarah N.
I found this sushi place to be just OK but very convenient. For two rolls, I paid about $30. The rolls were also just OK. However, the level of customer service was very good, friendly, and kind. I ordered to go and while waiting, they served me a glass of water. There are not many places that does this anymore. I was very impressed by this. Sushi, I believe, is best when ordering All You Can Eat. By the time you finish ordering individual rolls, you've spent the amount of all you can eat. Just my opinion.
(3)Amber P.
I found this sushi place on Groupon. They had a special going on $11 for $20 worth of food. The service is very pushy, they rushed us into ordering our food. The food was not to shabby but I've had better sushi for cheaper. When we got our check, we reminded him about the Groupon we had. Very rudely he asked for the voucher number and Groupon number, which I gave him. He then leaned over the table and attempted to press the "Redeem" button on my phone. By then I had made up in my mind I was not going to return here. Then when it was time for the two other ladies I was with two give him their Groupon information, he Very nastily said "It's only one per table". Which indeed it was our fault for not reading the small print. So we then asked to get our checks split and it went downhill from there. He was yelling at us, telling us it's one per table, "I can't split the check, and why can't one person pay and we pay them back etc", and mind you their was other customers in the restaurant looking over. Then a lady comes over and he tells her you handle this because I can't "their complicated". So we calmly explain to her the situation and she says the exact same thing he says. "Why can't one person pay, it's not their problem etc". So we explained it to her AGAIN! She walked off to split the checks and they were over in the corner, LOUDLY speaking about us. she comes back and gives us our separate checks and has the NERVE to ask for a tip. I have never received such poor service in my life! I will never return.
(1)Irena R.
Came here for a quick lunch. Didn't really like the rolls I ordered, though. Will be back to try dinner when I have more time.
(3)Rachael M.
More expensive than necessary but the sushi isn't bad. Usually not packed. I really have nothing extraordinary to say about this place. I've tried a few different rolls but nothing completely wowed me. At the same time, nothing really disappointed me either. I would recommend they do something about the music choice. They seem to use an ipod or something but songs or artists repeat over and over and over again. The last visit they let songs play on repeat back to back two to three times before choosing another song, it wasn't even busy. It was quite annoying so we ate quick to get out of there. Other than that, no complaints. Not as fresh as I'm used to but I have to remind myself I'm not in California anymore.
(3)Emily G.
I go here once a month and have for the past 5 years. I'm a regular, and have never had a problem here. The staff is nice, and the manager has given me a free appetizer for being a regular. My husband used to think sushi was disgusting until trying this place. Phenomenal! I always get the Mexican volcano roll and the spicy volcano roll, both of which are deep fried. Omg yum, my mouth is watering thinking about it. Miso soup is good and always hot when I order it. Service is prompt and I never have to wait long. And to the person who gave them 1 star because of their siesta... It states on their door that they are closed from 3-4pm. This is when they nap because they're there all day, yeah they should lock their front door but read the hours before you walk in. Crab Rangoon is yummy, too! Oh and I've never had an issue with them splitting checks. Just be courteous and tell them you want separate checks when you order, not that difficult tbh.
(5)Aldo G.
Wow never agian. Ordered to go told the amount over the phone. Got there told again the amount, about to pay as soon as he saw I was paying part of it with Groupon, he was like no there is a fee for that and changed the amount. I have used Groupon before at many places and never charged an extra fee for it. Also been to several sushi places only stop by here close to a friend's house. Figure I'll check this place out the food was subpar. Not worth return service.
(1)Alan L.
Chose Sushi Bar because it was close to my hotel, and had good reviews on Yelp. Very pleased. Had a "Penny Roll" and a "Red Dragon Roll". Both excellent. Many other choices; I may be back if I'm nearby at lunch time. Recommended!

I have been a patron since the actual day sushi bar opened years ago. The sushi was comparable to china town in San Francisco back in the day and the owners were nice. The spider roll was a naughty fried fav with the crab legs sticking out of the roll. The California roll and tekka maki were perfect! We even had a large family party here in 2001. Now, the staff is not welcoming and act as if they are doing us a favor serving us. Be ready for disgust if you dare to ask for more wasabi or ginger than the small amount they have calculate into their overhead...they obviously have a set ration and any requests for extra is outwardly disapproved of. They also refill tea at a snails pace...all part of the overhead. They smile and talk to one another engagingly/respectfully but literally frown as they approach diners. The spider roll is half the size now and no where near as tasty. The quality has definitely diminished substantially yet the prices are quite high. I know quality sushi is expensive and have no problem paying for quality sushi but this is no longer quality and the staff is just rude. The customers next to us used a GROUPON...what a mistake that was. It was like the soup nazi experience. They were treated horrifically. They shouldn't participate with groupon if they don't "welcome" groupon pleasantly. We felt relieved we didn't have a groupon and shamefully relieved the animosity was then shifted from the other diners onto this poor unsuspecting couple. Now reading here on yelp about employees having sex under a table leaving the door open makes me wonder if our dining there is truly a bother to them for reasons other than I originally thought or is the risk of getting caught a thrill for them? Too bizarre! New roll will be "afternoon delight" roll? Also, how sanitary is this place? Gross! Sadly looking into new places with less intense/irritable staff and fresh ingredients. Never going back there again! PS the owners I knew were the owners were not there. Maybe if they are still the owners and read this and clean house.
(1)P S.
If you are using a Groupon, please be aware that you must pay cash. There is nothing on their website, or in the "rules" on the Groupon. But, get there, and see the sign on the door. We were not prepared for that, and when we asked about paying with a credit card, were turned away, and not very politely. We got a refund from Groupon, and will not go back.
(1)Pari P.
Bloomingdale isn't particularly known for their restaurants but one stands out. You know exactly what you're getting with the name, Sushi Bar and Japanese Restaurant. At first, I was skeptical by the name and location but after the first meal, I was impressed. The restaurant is small but is often filled with local regulars. There are two unique qualities that make Sushi Bar a local favorite, their creativity and service. They have a wide variety of maki rolls with different sauces from wasabi cream to a sweet and sour orange sauce. Each time we have dined here, we have always received great customer service and the food comes out quickly. Each meal comes with a complimentary miso soup. You can sometimes find coupons for this restaurant as well. The two maki rolls that I always order are the smoked salmon skin and volcano roll. The smoked salmon skin roll has a strong smoky flavor as if it was just blow torched. Their volcano roll is unique in that it's a deep fried spicy tuna roll and drizzled with honey mustard. Although there are a lot of sushi restaurants in the suburbs of Chicago, Sushi Bar is great if you are in the Bloomingdale area and don't want to travel too far.
(4)Butter D.
I am giving this place a 1 star even though I have not eaten here. Explanation - I called Groupon today and told them that my voucher expired over the weekend they in turn tell me that the amount I paid never expires. I called up the restaurant to inform them that I have a Groupon and explained the terms of the voucher the face value of $11 never expires. They said they don't take expired groupon, very hard to explain something when there is a language barrier. Needless to say I won't give these folks my business.
(1)J.C. And Jenn M.
This place hit the spot! Our server was the best. We haven't gone here in about 3 or 4 years and they remembered us! Lol the spicy tuna is our favorite. They even have a great Chicago roll. Very filling for two people, and love the miso soup. Will definitely be coming back since we live down the street now
(5)Meghan F.
To say that I am a sushi-lover would be an understatement. A connoisseur of sushi? Probably not. But all that being said, I try it in damn near every city that I visit.. and believe it or not, Sushi Bar in Bloomingdale has taken the cake every single time! Vegas? You would think, but no. San Fran? Nah. Downtown Chicago.. meh. The list goes on. What I love most about Sushi Bar is that their classics are consistent and tasty, while their specialty rolls hit the mark every single time. I never order with my fingers crossed that "it will be good this time." Sure, some of the rolls may be drowned in mayo, but who doesn't love devouring a savory, creamy sauce with a delicious cut of fish? Their Spicy Yellowtail is by far a favorite of mine, as well as the Sakura Roll - yum! I haven't been disappointed here in the 6 years I have been a patron. The staff is wonderful, the place is perfectly clean, and the miso soup is never too too hot! I wouldn't change a thing!
(5)Jack P.
Great food, especially the chicken fried rice. It's $10 but you get a ton. Two rolls and fried rice comes out to about $30. You'll get miso with that. Service is a bit pushy, but we take out so doesn't really matter to us.
