I love the food. It's great but low stars because the guy that was cashiering was a royal A**hole. He was rude and was a jerk when I asked what they had to drink, he just waved his hand like here you go. I told him I would take a cherry dr.pepper and he handed me a cherry RC gross but I drank it because I was on the verge of leaving anyway. When telling him the slices I wanted I told him extra cheese on one of them and he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language, he said "really extra cheese?" I'm not sure I will be going back in there if I pull in and see him in there.

Ok so I went here for a eggplant sandwich since today is Friday and I can't eat meat.well as I was was waiting for my sandwich, the guy who was putting the dough in the machine dropped it on the floor, picked it up and put it through the machine again.WOW I couldn't believe that he did that.GROSS...ANYWAY when I GOT the sandwich home there were three and a half piece of very small pieces of eggplant on my sandwich ,the bread was fresh sauce was ok the eggplant was small and had no taste. I won't go back. And don't want to after seeing what was done with the pizza dough.

Nonno's used to be the butta to my bread, the Bert to my Ernie, the Bill to my Ted... I loved this pizza when I lived in the burbs... not too much sauce, not too much cheese, a crust that you can actually eat without breaking a tooth... I don't understand why Nonno's only has a 3 star rating right now...

Decent pizza. They arent stingy on the toppings which is nice. I wasn't a big fan of the sweetness of the sauce. We ordered a medium stuffed pizza and had left over for days!

I just ran in the other day for the first time. I grabbed an arancini & slice of sausage. The rice ball was very tasty & filling! The sausage pizza was good too, eventhough it wasn't really a thin crust. It was more of a "medium" crust. Either way that one slice will satisfy your hunger. If I'm ever in the area I'd be back.
(4)

Reliable pizza near the house at a reasonable price. The spinach and sausage is our go to. Fresh, not frozen spinach is always a plus, which is what they are offering, the sausage is actually pretty tasty. Am picky about the sausage, typically. Definitely not a thin crust. More of the double dough style that seems prevalent in these parts.

First time going there last night and I ordered a calzone, told them I wanted it stuffed with everything. WOW! I could only eat half, I posted a picture of it. Prices are extremely reasonable as well, I was very surprised. One thing though, they said they stopped delivering to BNSF because they couldn't get in the gate, well if you guys are reading this, and you get a call from Sam at the railroad, you better believe that I'll be looking out to let you guys in!

Fantastic! Loaded and I mean LOADED with cheese and toppings! I am a vegetarian and finding delicious veggie pizza options is not always easy, but i found it with Nonno's! I got the margarita with broccoli, spinach, mushrooms and onions. I LOVE the pesto sauce on the Margarita. I will absolutely order from here again!

I would of give it 5 stars if the only sold rice balls. I had a meatball sandwich the center of the meatballs where cold the sauce was very acid and the fries were horrible. iwalked in and was not greeted I browsed at the menu while the little girl in the counter looked down 3 people behind the counter and no one acknowledge me. I am ready to order and I step up I ask for a meatball sandwich I was asked cheese and peppers I say cheese no peppers, got peppers and no cheeseI paid with a credit card and I think that bothered the small teenager. She slam the receipt and drop the pen with not a word I signed and she walked away. I walked out of my house with the intentions of going to Novis for an Italian beef and decided to go to Nono that was a big big big mistake. Never again. My apologies to Novis for settling for this garbage. $10 for food worth $2 at a school cafeteria.

Looove their pizza. $3.25 for a big slice that is always delicious. I also get delivery often and they are very timely and it is still always delicious. Only thing to remember is it's cash only under $10 for those who only carry plastic like myself - but there is a chase atm a few store fronts down if you forget like I always do!

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. This place is one of the best, I believe! I know many people are fans of the thin crust but I LOVE the pan style, thick crust and they deliver the goods!!! The people working there are always pleasant. The only downside is that the pizza is $2.99, not including a can of pop. But hey it's a sign of the times. I usually never finish the pizza there so I end of asking for a box to take it home and i'm alright with spending around $4 and being full. I haven't had anything else but the pizza for the last 10 years but that doesn't matter, you still need to stop buy and have a taste :D

Great place for a slice of pizza on the run. Their rice balls are excellent. If you want thin crust order a pizza and ask for it extra thin. Or my style of extra thin, extra sauce, extra well done. I think everything there is homemade and the prices are very reasonable.

Just got their supreme pan pizza last night. Excellent. One of the better pizza's in the area. I definitely recommend them!

Nonno's is a place I like to go for a slice of pizza every now and then, but their prices went up and they don't include a pop, so instead of stopping by once a week, it's more like once a month if that. It's still a quality slice of pizza. A little on the thick side, but it's much better than Bacci's across the street. I recommend the panzerotti. It's huge and FULL of toppings. Their thin crust pizza is good, but there is better.

Ms. Niki W.
The best pizza ever!!!! I am a regular to Nonno's. The staff is awesome.

Lousy, insipid pizza. The cheese and sauce have absolutely no flavor at all. The crust is too dense and doughy. There are better alternatives in the area such as Dr. Pizza or Salerno's.

Flavorful pizza, no skimping on toppings, and quick service. It's probably my favorite go-to pizza place. The prices have gone up a bit but not nearly as much as my formerly-favorite 'za, DiNico's. As of writing, $3.25 gets you a nice big slice of cheese and $.25 more gets sausage or pepperoni. And they will make other toppings by the slice - just today my friend got bacon added to his cheese pizza for a minimal charge. There is minimal seating - only about 4 or 5 tables seating 3 each, so large groups would be better off getting delivery or carry-out and taking it home. BEWARE: if your order is under $8 or so, and you use credit, they will add a $1 surcharge.

I thought i would give Nonnos another chance, but you know what Nonno's pizza is def a no no, thier sauce to me is too bland.....They do put alot of toppings but it just doesnt hide the fact that the sauce is bland

The slices here are slices of heaven. They aren't the biggest, and they don't come with a free can of soda, but they are delicious! Don't neglect the rest of the menu for the slice, though. Eaters with an extra dollar and extra time should go for the baby stuffed pizza. The sandwiches are amazing, with the meatball being a real standout. The combo, though, might be too much of a good thing--there is too much beef to be able to get a decent bite of both beef and sausage. Those with bigger mouths than mine, though, might enjoy it. As far as appetizers, the french fries seem to be hand cut; they're skin-on, heavily (but nicely!) seasoned, and fried crisp. For some odd reason, the menu lists cheese sticks, bread sticks, and cheesy bread sticks, but all three are simply mozzarella sticks.
(5)
Edward B.
Decent "thin crust" pizza (more like "medium crust"), but the thing to check out here is the Margherita (I probably butchered that...) pan pizza. Really great tomato, garlic and basil flavor, lots of cheese and a good tomato sauce (more tangy/spicy than sweet). Other stuff here is good and generally nicer quality than Bacci across the street. I'll be back again and again for that pan pizza....yum! Free liter of soda w/ a whole pizza.
(4)
B M.
This is now the only place I'll go to get a slice of pizza. It's great stuff and they always have you in and out fast. I can't comment on anything else on their menu as the slices are all I get. I used to go to the Bacci across the street but since they changed owners never again.
(5)
Stella S.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their pizza. Best thin crust pizza around. Don't miss it! It's heaven!!! Always fresh and a free liter of pop with a whole pizza is included - you can't beat it!

My first experience with Nonno's goes back around 10 years. I was very impressed then as I am now with the pizza that they make. It's a little shop with a small dining area right in front of the counter. The staff is friendly, and for under $8, you can get a rich slice of pizza that will fill you up. You can buy pizza by the slice from Nonno's or have them deliver pies right to your door. I asked the guy behind the counter about the secret to making good pizza and he said it wasn't about the dough, it was about the sauce! They certainly know their sauces and the dough is tasty and thick. They are very generous with their portions. BTW, Nonno means grandfather in Italian. nonnospizza.com/home.html

Every time I order it great food.. The drivers for silvery are extremely rude unless it the young ones Simple costumer service is required in this type of business and the people on the phone rarely have it Coming from a person who answered phones for deliveries for over six years I was utterly unimpressed however I will continue to to order I do love the food just not the service..

First and last time ordering. Ordered the Italian Sausage the person who answered the phone couldn't tell me what was on it and put me on hold. She came back and said marinara I said fine please add onion and peppers. So my sandwich comes and no marinara fries to salty to eat. Zucchini sticks are over cooked.I asked is the sausage spicy she said no. I said ok. BTW the sausage was good.I call after delivery speak the manager he proceeds to say oh we are still training sorry. I explained the sausage he proceeded to tell me his butcher only gives him sweet sausage. I said I can tell you could care less thank you! And if I could choose zero stars I would

The. Best. Sicilian. Pie. Ever. Sure, they do other stuff well, but the key here is the delightfully fresh ingredients and the aforementioned monster that beats anything any other pizzeria has to offer, in Chicago, or anywhere else for that matter. Order it, and you've got leftovers for a week. Or enough to feed several large friends, who will all thank you profusely, and join you in the cult of Nonno's.

Pizza is good, but the service sucks. The chubby guy with glasses is very rude. Went in 5 minutes before closing and they had 1 slice left. I gave him my credit card and he said they had a $10 minimum. I was looking at the kitchen to see what else I could order to make the minimum. He said they were pretty much closed up, so I couldn't order anything else. I didn't have any cash on me so I asked if he could make an exception. He made a face and said he was "losing money on this slice" by allowing me to pay with my credit card. He proceeded to shake his head while swiping my card and informed me that they would "close in a week" if everyone paid this way. If your margins on pizza are so bad that you can't afford 3% credit card fees, you have bigger problems. I'm sorry you "lost" money by selling me that slice instead of throwing it away.

Pizza was fairly tasty, lacked maybe some oregano or rosemary. Delivery was prompt. Can't beat the free one liter. Overall I would recommend

This place used to be good a couple years ago, but now it's terrible ! The Food is bland, the service is horrible! They never smile or even say hello when you walk in, they just give you this dopey look. The place is in need of a clean up, it's so dirty and the décor is so blah. If you go in and watch them prepare your food they NEVER have gloves on (very unsanitary), and the person who takes your money also handles the food, yuk! I would have given this place just 1 star, but I gave it 2 since it used to be good in the past.
