Whoops! I made a mistake. I was confused when I wrote this review. I blame the Berwyn pub crawl that I was on and my lack of will power when beer and shots are present. Yes, George's is the "Richard's of Berwyn", but I don't hate Richard's. I was thinking of Rossi's. I hate Rossi's. George's also sells liquor to-go so if I had to compare I would say that George's is closer to Rossi's than Richard's.

Stopped by here during the day game of the cub sox series, in between hospital visits to the fahter in law at the nearby hospital not so good times Ice cold Heienekens on draft 16 oz. for around $2? I think It was hard to remember, but they're very cheap good times Bartender was nice fellow as well A large, bald man of eastern european descent. He bought me a shot at good times they also carry both Hamm's and Hamm's golden draft in cans good times The bar that wednesday afternoon was filled with old drunks who put ice in the beer and say "aw sheez" alot good times Sox beat cubs and get a good mid day piss up for under $20 with change to spare good times, indeed

what a goofy hole in the wall. I was on a pub crawl and this was the first stop. I feel bad that we drove out 'the locals'.... but when a couple that had to be in their 80's was walking to the bar and someone invited the husband (cane in hand) a beer at the next stop, he turned right around and started heading back our way! The staff was quick to take care of refills, they had some hot dogs that they were churning out like hot cakes, and its conveniently right at the train station.

This bar is a classic old man, shot and a beer joint. Opens early (8am, if you're a third-shifter) and is wicked cheap. I mean it. A Bud Light will set you back $1.85, I believe. The owner is really nice and is always there. Staff is great too. And it definitely reminds me of Richard's. Great place, I will be back.

I'll be honest. My girlfriend from elementary school's father owns this place. It's been a family business for years. It's a GREAT dive bar, complete with cheap drinks, "regulars", and TVs that have any sporting event on local cable you can want. Staff is friendly, and service is great!
