I'm a big fan of their cream of chicken soup (special only on Wed and Sun) also love their breakfast! Owners are very nice and attentive!

The service absolutely stinks here. There's one waitress that doesn't even come to refill the drinks. She's rude and nor waitress material

I went on valentines day...it was busy and I went by myself. The owner was nice and greeted me, walked me over to table. My waitress, Desiree was rushing from the moment they set up my table. She came over asking me what I wanted...I hadnt even got my jacket off yet... Ordered omelet and pineapple juice, and instead of saying "Sorry we're out." She comes back in 3 minutes ans says, "What other drink did you want?" So fast forward to the food. The omelet was OK. Not what I expected, but I made the most of the situation. Before I got 2 bites into my hash browns, Desiree came and dropped the check...never got a water and never checked to ask if I needed anything. Pancakes came out...apples and cinnamon were cold... Just everything was rushed...like I shouldn't have come there. I understand it was busy, but she could have been nicer. Especially since the omelet i thought i was getting cost 10...they charge me 5 bucks almost for sausage and cheese... Whole meal costs 17 dollars and basically stayed there 20 minutes. Didn't bother packing it to go. Cant say I'd come back. But owner was nice.

Yeah, this place did not hit the spot at all!! Was pretty disappointed all around, service was lacking, had to wait for coffee I'm not kidding like 15 minutes after sitting and then again for a refill even when I told server to keep my cup filled. Food was overcooked and served cold. There clearly were just not enough servers for the amount of people seated. Not someplace I will be returning to. There is a parking lot on the side, was not aware of this all the years I've driven by and finally went in only after finding out they had parking.

Love Connie's.Great food and great service. This is a win/win. Prices are reasonable for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Definitely stop if you are at Harlem and Windsor in Berwyn/Riverside. You won't be disappointed with this gem of a restaurant.

So yea I'll probably avoid coming to this restaurant ever again. Food was pretty horrible. Not sure how you can mess up chicken parm or chicken tacos but both lacked flavor and were cooked horribly. I think when a restaurant offers so much variety their dishes start to lack their flavor and freshness. On a positive note, our server was great and they do have free wifi.

The corned beef hash skillet is pretty good. The service could use some work and the place is a bit rinky dinky. But the food is good (not amazing) so I'm am satisfied.

Stopped in with some friends while visiting a neighborhood garage sale one Sunday morning. Coming from the north side where there are great breakfast spots in every neighborhood, we were very disappointed in Connie's. Not sure how a restaurant can mess up breakfast food, but the omelet had little flavor, the pancakes weren't very hearty and my friend had to return his chicken fried steak because it was so bad. They replaced it with a strip steak which he didn't wind up eating either. Next time I'll eat at home.

First of all the customer service hands down exceeds all expectation. Even when they are busy, they seem to keep it together and still have service with a smile. If you were missed, they absolutely make up for it. If the food ain't right, THEY WILL MAKE IT RIGHT! It's a Greek influenced diner that can cook up many types of food, from Greek, Mexican, American, to Czech Food, and the Chefs/Cooks don't miss a beat. The breakfast is Very Good, I have tried everything on the menu and surprisingly I'm not as BIG AS A Bear. I practically lick my plate when no one is looking, SMH. My recommendation for breakfast: GET THE CREPES WITH FRUIT TOPPING! Any type of skillet are very delicious and the Greek Food is Just as good as Greek Town, or better!! For Dinner I often order the White Bone Fish- Greek Style, or the Athenian Grilled Pork Chops with Greek potato and fresh veggies. MOUTH-GAZIM!! I can say more about this place, but I won't, you just need to bring your keyster over to South Berwyn and come get some Connies in your belly. And don't forget to tell the host Andy sent ya! LOL

On Sunday morning around 10:30, my family and I decided to visit Connie's in Berwyn. We were pleasantly surprised to find many available tables. At first, that concerned me. However, after we were seated and served, I realized it was no cause for alarm. Due to the lack of business, service was lightning fast. I had just started doing the word search on the back of the paper placemat when my strawberry waffle arrived. The whole perimeter of it was slathered in whipped cream, which I loved. A sufficient amount of fresh strawberries were placed in the middle of the waffle. Strawberry juice on and around the waffle moistened this breakfast item nicely. The waffle was light and airy, and I devoured it at laser speed. In the future, I hope to try some of the other waffles, pancakes, and crepes. My guests enjoyed their meals also. One ordered the Three Flags pancakes and did remark that the baked apples were from a can. She did not mind, however. Parking was adequate on Sunday morning. We found a private lot but opted to park on the street, near the Harlem Metra stop. Parking is free on Sundays, and there were numerous spaces.

I've been to Connie's a couple of times and I would go back again. The food is usually just okay and the service is friendly. Last time I stopped by we had to wait a really long time for our food to be ready and it was not even busy. While this was not a big deal, what upset me was that two men who knew what looked like to be the owner of the place got their food in less than ten minutes while we waited almost a half an hour for our food. Once the waitress brought out our food it was just okay nothing very memorable. I was really disappointed in my hash browns they had no flavor at all. I asked for them crispy and they were a little bit burnt. I could have forgiven that except for the fact that we waited so long for our food. I'll probably give this place a chance again soon and see how it goes.

I just have to how wonderful this place is I've had two parties here this year one a baby shower and last night my daughter's 15th birthday and I can't believe how wonderful everything was to the food and drinks and especially the service! The owners Andy and his mother are so great! The waitresses we had are so amazing! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone you get so much food. Great and friendly service. Thank you the connies for giving us a great time!! We'll be back for more parties to come!

I ordered the Stuffed Avocado for dinner with an iced tea. The avocado was a generous size. The chicken salad had a bit too much mayo but it was still tasty. The iced tea was freshly brewed and not the nasty kind from a mix. My waiteress was great. She checked on me often and refilled my drink in a timely manner. She was great considering that she had may other tables to service. I guess I'm a sucker for waitresses that call me "hun" :-)

So, my family and I feasted!!! I didn't want to cook dinner so we came here to eat. I had the chicken quesadilla & French onion soup; my son meat lovers skillet and my boo salmon salad and Creme of broccoli. The food was very good. And surprisingly, the salmon was cooked to perfection and had an amazing rub. Confession: I wouldn't have dreamed of ordering salmon from this place. While we all ordered different items from the menu, we picked from each others plates. YUMMY... I'll be back. I work from home and will come over again for the salad :)

While their coffee is just not good -- always burnt and sour tasting -- their food is reliably good. I really loved their waffles last time I was in and my husband has discovered their gyros platter as a favourite. Went in for lunch with my mother and we both loved our meals. I gave them only three stars before, but have to revise to four. They really are a well run business with owners who care about their food and service. I admire that and am grateful to have them next door.

I was not overly impressed with Connie's, which was kind of a bummer. If I were not a vegetarian, I perhaps would have loved it as the menu was vast but there wasn't much on it that appealed to me aside from breakfast so that's what I had. Call me crazy, but I'm not really a huge fan of breakfast food in general. One of my beefs (no pun intended) is that they serve their mozzarella sticks with meat sauce! Several other places I've been to have also done that and I found out the hard way. At least Connie's said so on their menu. Mozzarella sticks are bad for me anyway so maybe I should be glad about that. Anyway, I ordered a cheese omelette that came with the usual toast and hash browns. Husband ordered some kind of skillet. We also got a side order of pancakes and had one each. My omelette was okay. It was good, in fact. I just didn't really feel like having one and trying to choose something felt like picking the lesser of evils. The pancake was the best part, even if it wasn't completely done on the bottom of one side. I kind of like them that way, truth be told. So I guess if we ever go back, I'll have pancakes. Husband loved his skillet and has been asking me when we can return for days. One other thing, there was a really funky, gross smell when we first sat down. Maybe the people behind us ordered something weird. I don't know what the hell it was but it was reminiscent of a bad saganaki. Oh and they had Coke products. Yay. I can't stand Pepsi.

Tonight, we had the Chicken Parmesan and Reuben sandwich. The bread of the Reuben Sandwich must of been soaked in butter, and the pasta with the Chicken Parmesan was too oily. 2nd poor experience in dinner food.

The food is good, but not great. I'm told it might have just been what I ordered and that they usually have good stuff. The corned beef hash skillet was seriously lacking in corned beef hash, but not in mushrooms. The menu has lots to offer, and the staff are friendly. Even though our waitress forgot someone's order she quickly took ownership and admitted the error. They have a full bar, so if you want a breakfast cocktail, they can accommodate. I would go back again for breakfast, if and when in the area.

Aivle R.
They have the best breakfast and I've been to many restaurants for breakfast. To me what constitutes good breakfast is that it's made hot and fresh and real eggs. I do not like this place for lunch or dinner. They just have too many choices on the lunch and dinner menus, so that's probably why they can't concentrate on making many of the dishes good. The service is spotty. The wait staff treat certain customers well and always seem to be talking about people.

Lupe H.
This is our regular breakfast place because the food is good, consistent, and service is usually fast so my kids don't want to try a different place. Also, the staff is friendly and attentive. I am a coffee drinker and my son works for Starbucks so my comment on the coffee is "it's pretty decent," and certainly an area for improvement! We've had just about everything on their breakfast menu, except crepes and again food is consistently good. We usually ask for changes to our breakfast, like extra crispy potatoes, or no onions or stuff like that and we are always happy with our meal. My son has ordered gyro and some of the sandwiches and especially likes their gyros. We have not tried anything on their dinner menu so I can't comment on it. Come here for decent breakfast, sandwiches and good service.

For years I have known of Connie's restaurant off of Stanley and Harlem. I actually have come here in the past just a handful of times. The last visit was just enough. Never again. We walk in at 11pm. This restaurant closes at midnight so you think we still have an hour. WRONG!! The waitress seats us with a nasty annoyed "sigh" and drops the menus on the table. I look to order and everything we say we want she says they are out of and the kitchen is closing in a couple minutes so "you better pick something else fast" We just have up after being told that they were out or it would take too long to make to four different entrees. We just ordered wings as as an appetizer. 10 minutes later, we still didn't have our wings. Another ten minutes still no wings and the waitress never came by to fill my soda or even say there was a problem. Place was deader then a cemetery. We just actually left 5 bucks on the table for the sodas got up and walked out. Totally ridiculous. I know servers have a hard job and long shifts but don't take it out on innocent people. What a group of A*holes. Yeah, the food is mediocre as I already knew this but the bad service takes on a whole other level. I only came here because it's hard to find a late night diner on a whim around Berwyn.

Tried to have Mothers Day breakfast at Connie's today, of course we expected it to be busy, we knew every place would have lines. But when I was told to get in line that they were not taking names, I wondered how it worked. After being in line for 15 minutes I noticed some people coming in were getting in line in front of everyone in line behind the cash register. When I mentioned this to the owner he started yelling at me, I mean really yelling and then two of the hostesses were too. He looked like he was going to have a heart attack, yelling with sweat rolling down his cheeks. Why wouldnt he be nice to the people coming there to spend money instead of be so mean and in such a terrible mood. Telling me this is Mothers Day ....Really ?? Like I didn't know that. Shame on him, he needs to retire - ONLY HIS SON KNOWS how to act professional, he is nothing, he is a jerk. Too bad they have great food, been going there since late 1970's

Went there on a Thursday and was not disappointed with my bacon cheeseburger. The waitress was very attentive and provided excellent service. We were offered a free slice of cake to celebrate restaurant's anniversary. Next time I am going to try their breakfast. The menu seems to have a pretty wide selection.

Stopped in here to grab a quick dinner for me and my man. Ordered a Cheeseburger with fries, Chicken Parm with mostaccioli, and Chicken quesadilla. The Chx Parm was actually pretty decent, good marinara, nice big piece of pounded chicken, pasta was overcooked. The burger was consumed by the man with no complaints ("this is a pretty good burger"), and the Quesadilla's were really good. HUGE portion, big chunks of chicken, nice melty cheese. I would stop back in just for the Quesadilla. I see myself craving one in the near future, and maybe a fountain creation... Typical breakfast all day/early bird special restaurant. Decent soups too.

The service is great, and everyone was very friendly and they had our food ready very quickly. They brought it out to us at our table and came to check on us to refill our coffee and to see if we needed anything. This was a great little touch. Their menu has a great selection, Every time I visit, I try something different. I had omelets, the Tex Mex skillet, soups and salads. I like the fact that the owner is usually at the door to greet you and the service. This place has been in business for many years, so they must be doing something right.

Cheap and Good food. My bf and I have made this place our regular Saturday Morning breakfast place. It is to the point when the waitress knows what we want! We've gone here for lunch as well and it was decent. But I prefer the breakfast!

Connie's is one of the best kept secrets in Berwyn. I try to go there at least once a month for breakfast. Their Skillets are best around and cheap! The service is always good and have never waited for a table. Always friendly, oh and did I mention cheap?

Going to make this short and sweet and just give pointers: *the over all experience has improved! *the crab legs are awesome, they give you your money's worth *don't come late at night with few people and expect to get a good bowl of soup *the service is great: ask and you shall receive :)

Berwyn's own since 1944. Standard menu that has everything on it. The menu is War and Peace long. Excellent food and desserts. The wait staff can be little rough around the edges. Typical Berwyn. And fun if you go along with the gag.. Enjoy. I have my vanilla shake coming. Extra thick. Priorities so I must take my leave.

Connie's is a solid breakfast Greek-type diner. The menu is HUGE! You can get anything for breakfast here and when you're planning to go on Berwyn's yearly mini-golf pub crawl, you're going to need a good food base.

Second time I have been here. I think the food is really good for the price. It taste "home made". Service seems to be on par. Was there with my three kids tonight, bill was $33.00 + tip. Not bad at all.

Some of the best customer service I've experienced. Food is delicious and great portions. Waitresses are very knowledgeable and sososososo sweet. This is a family restaurant great for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner. Their salads, sandwiches and soups are great. Prices are good. My 5 year old loves Connie's. If it was up to him we'd go every day. Iv'e gone 100 times and im not stopping anytime soon. I value places like this. Def a Berwyn gem.

Connie's is a typical Greek owned family restaurant. It's menu is large, the food is consistent and priced well. They serve breakfast all day and the sandwiches with fries are always good, basic lunch or dinners. The owners are friendly and the people watching can interesting if you are looking out at Harlem Ave. Try the vanilla shakes if you are in the mood for ice cream, but don't expect to be blown away by the food here. ***Connies has recently started to sell packages of their coffee (ground and whole beans). It is worth getting to try at home, especially if you are paying $7 for Starbuck's in the grocery store.

I only give Connie's two stars because I live across the street and it's convenient for me to go there for some soup and salad at a decent size and price. I probably wont go there unless my fridge is empty and my car is out of gas because every time I go there, the waitresses are horrible! Miserable--they don't try to converse or even check up on how we are doing. The last time I went there, one of the waitresses was fighting with a co-worker and took all her anger out on us. Service was so bad that I didn't leave a tip! Which, i always feel bad to do because I've worked in the industry for awhile and I know it really helps. The food is okay, but not worth being treated like we were A-holes!

Ah, Connie's!! I was writing a review for a steakhouse today and suddenly thought, "What about Connie's??" This family restaurant has been in the neighborhood for 40+ years. If you can't find anything to tickle your taste buds on their menu, well, you just aren't hungry. It's friendly prices and prompt service make it really easy to be a regular here. And so does the friendly staff. I have to compliment the management at Connie's -- all of their servers are great. They enjoy what they do and provide excellent service. Connie's is the breakfast emperor. Their eggs, potatoes, omelets, etc. can't be beat. My very favorite meal of all is their skirt steak and eggs special. If you ask, they'll do the skirt steak Greek-style. Absolutely positively delicious!!! Yay, Connie's!! Oh!! And for a Harlem Avenue restaurant? Their parking is more than adequate thanks to the train station right across the street, ample parking on the side and a parking lot in the rear. (I think they also have parking across the street, but I'm not sure anymore. Never had to use it, though.)
(5)
Linda P.
Typical Greek-owned family style restaurant. Very nice interior with giant comfy booths and pleasant waitresses who give prompt service. Food is awesome, try the honey mustard chicken panini, very homerdroolworthy. Also they have delicious pasta dishes with good marinara sauce, which is not easy to find in restaurants such as these. They are conveniently located across the street from the Berwyn Metra station and parking is ample. You can even park in the train station lot spaces in the evening for free. HOWEVER...Watch out for the cranky senior patrons who like to eavesdrop on your conversations.

One of the few mornings I was craving something other than my typical hash browns, bacon, eggs, and toast for an eat out breakfast. Of course the only thing different was that I got the Tex Mex skillet which included chorizo instead of bacon and some veggies. This was the first time I've been to Connie's this past Sunday, and after passing by another place that had a waiting line out the door, saw Connie's and went it. Despite them being obviously busy, we were seated right away. Order was taken and got to the table in a timely manner. Menu was full of choices but not so many you think "Holy Crap" and the quality of food was great for the price. I'll be sure to come back whenever I'm in Berwyn and want breakfast anytime of the day!

Christie K.
The breakfast menu here is superb, with an abundance of choices, so I try to order something different every time. I have yet to find something that I have not thoroughly enjoyed, be it the waffles, breakfast sandwich, ham on bone omelette, even the oatmeal is delicious! I must say I am a huge fan of the super thick cut shredded hash browns and Greek toast, which I had today with my generously sized omelette...DEELISH!!

I've eaten Connie's a bunch* in the last few months. I was pregnant and there were weeks where I craved the Mediterranean salad constantly. A few weeks ago I had a baby and the cravings haven't subsided. My husband loves the gyro plate and their breakfast skillets are greasy, large, and oh-so-delicious. We usually get take-out because we live a mile away, but I have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times. The servers are friendly, spunky, and fast. The portions are huge, the prices are very very affordable, and the menu is huge/vast/extensive. This isn't a place that you need to visit from miles away, but it's a great greasy spoon diner. It's great for late-night dinners, hang-over breakfasts, and if you want lots of food and are short on cash.

Had the best chocolate chip pancakes ever. They serve super huge portions and everything is so very good. My mom had the Denver omlette with hashbrowns and pancakes. She loved it, she is a huge complainer so thats big. I had the chocolate chip pancakes N ham off the bone. Weird combo but it works so well. I got syrup on my blouse and the server immediately got me seltzer water and lemon to get it out. Great service and great food.

Connie's has been around since 1944. Ironically, that's probably the same year most of their clientele was born as well. Connie's is a no nonsense, old school dinner. No frills, no pizazz, just good food...and people your mother's age.

The service was absolutely horrible! I had a waitress named Jan that had the worst attitude ever! She didn't have any product knowledge, i asked her how the shrimp was prepared she told me I was asking obvoius questions and I should read the menu. The bread was wrapped in individual wrappers, the onion soup was bland and the bread and croutons were stale. We had been there for an hour and we were waiting for our food. I asked Jan when were we going to get our burgers she said she had JUST put the orders in! REALLY! We've been sitting here an hour and you decide to FINALLY put the order in! Then the manager was even worse. I asked him if he had read the reviews about this place he says "You can tell me now!" With the most nastiest disposotion. I wouldn't recomend a death row inmate to have their last meal at this place!

Great food breakfast lunch and dinner. My personal fav's Chicken Tenders with ranch and Pancakes eggs and bacon chicken noodle soup. But everythings great, from breakfast to seafood. Owners and staff are always helpful and in a good mood and all at a good price. You can beat that. Ill be going there for years and years to come.

Open from 6am to midnight, Connie's is a great place to get breakfast, any time of the day. I've never had my order fucked up here in the gazillions of times I've been. I've eaten at Connie's at the break of dawn and gotten eggs and hash browns at 11pm after doing some drinkin' and it's always good. LOVE their hash browns. One way to judge (IMO) whether a breakfast place is great is by their hash browns. It's amazing how badly you can fuck up hash browns. Connie's has a full menu. You can get anything from standard breakfast fare to pot roast, fettucini alfredo, fried perch, corned beef, etc. If it's standard American chow you're looking for, you name it, they got it. Fettucini may be Italian, and this isn't Tuscany on Taylor, but it's damn good for a diner! I used to purposely "miss" my morning train and take the next one 1/2 hour later just so I could stop in for a couple of eggs and hash browns!

If your looking for cutting edge cuisine & hip atmosphere this ain't it...! Connie's is one of those restaurants we used to take my Grandmother to, which isn't an insult.. Family type restaurant, big menu, good prices. I go there primarily on Sundays for breakfast and love their skillet entrees. Been there for lunch a couple of times and the food was just OK.

Poor Pat G. I feel bad that his Connie's experience was bunk. I do have to agree that once in a while the service is lacking, but for the most part Connie's is just what I need for a nearby breakfast fix. But it's more than just breakfast. Their menu is HUGE. Sometimes Connie's is the place of choice for that reason. Unless you're UBER picky, there's usually something for everyone (even mac 'n' cheese!) and I'm pretty impressed at how everything's been quite tasty and satisfying given the bulk of their selections. I do have to say that, although the servers are usually pretty deadpan or even cranky, early weekday breakfasts do happen really fast. Maybe the morning staff is more in tune because they know people need to get somewhere. A nice smile is always a cake-topper in the service industry and can sometimes make or break your tips, but I admit that I don't usually care that early in the morning. Just bring me my pancakes and I'm all good! I suppose the no-fuss service in Berwyn is something I'm used to and is part of its down-to-earth and honest appeal. It's not blow-your-socks-off mind-numbing, but it's Connie's. And it's a comfort to have it in my 'hood. [Note to readers and tryers: a side of hash browns is always a pleaser!]

It has been quite a while since I've walked into this place, so if anyone reviews this place after I do, trust that one better. Several people I know talked about going here in these post-Jedi's Garden days until I steered them away and I thought I might as well tell my experience here too. Overall it is usually okay, like three stars with decent food and sub-mediocre service most of the time. if you've been to George's in Oak Park, the atmosphere is like that, but sort of like Jedi's was too. But the last time I went, the waitress took about twenty minutes to even ask for our order (actually pretty common here), sounded like she was about to hock up a lung (and sometimes coughing into our food), spilled on us and our food twice with no apology and then took forty five minutes to get us the check. She was pretty mad (and so was the owner) when we left a tip that included 13 cents in pennies and a token from Enchanted Castle I randomly found on the ground as I walked into this place. In my estimation, it was much more than she deserved.

Connie's is exactly as you might expect for a small town place. The food isn't outstanding, the prices aren't high, and service can be spotty at times. I've been here bunches of times since I was a kid and I've maintained my general impression of Connie's as a no-frills, nothing special place that still gets the job done when you don't feel like cooking your own food or maybe getting cheap food with friends. I've probably ordered most of the menu at this point and nothing has struck me as really good or really bad. I definitely prefer their savory menu items here (like burger and skillet) to any of the sweeter options (like the waffles or crepes). Portions are typically on the larger size. I always finish my food, but I leave very full and content. The service is usually pretty good, but sometimes it's overly slow. Once I didn't see my waitress for a good 20 minutes and I had to go trekking around the restaurant looking for her to get our check. Other times, the service has been perfectly acceptable with adequate check-ins and friendliness. Overall, I wouldn't necessarily seek out Connie's, but I'll definitely be back here. Something I actually really like about it is that it serves food until midnight on weekdays. There are not many other places around this area that do that. Also, it's really convenient for the Harlem stop on the Metra.

I usually go here for a carry out if I want some comfort food like a BLT or a burger or eggs and don't want to cook. it is not a cutting edge place like Frontera Grill , but neither are the prices. It is good basic food , well prepared, with no surprises. I like the fact that the owner is usually at the door to greet you and the service , especially carry out , is really quick. one more thing - their pies and cakes are awesome. one more thing - check out their jars of imported Greek honey which tastes real, not the junk you buy at the supermarket. One last thing - their fries are great. Now I am getting hungry.

I have been going to this resturant since I was a kid. It has changed it's looks many times but the food is always delicious. Great food, lovely environment, Highly recommend.

Went there for Sunday breakfast for the first time this past Sunday and I will definitely go back. My husband and I have been looking for a good breakfast place for the last few years and I was really happy with Connie's. I had the Ham and Cheese Omelet and it was really good. My husband had the two by two by two with pancakes, I'm not a fan of pancakes and they tasted great!. The wait staff was super nice and the place was filled with people, you can tell it was a real family place. See you next Sunday?

This place is great, it has that old school feel to it. I always order a Denver omlette, the steamed hash browns are awesome. Food taste great and the owners are polite, the waiting staff attentive. This is the place for the best diner breakfest in Berwyn.

I had a great breakfast from here this morning. The strawberry crepes were delicious with the wonderful whipcream. The hashbrowns were on point with hotsauce and ketchup so goooooooood. The coffee was also pretty good. The waitresses minus one star everytime i come here the waitresses are also either A-in a hurry or B- screw something up. Today the waitress was to pushy and rushy and I don't like that one I go out. The four stars are for the food. It's always good.

You get what you get. It's a casual diner with sometimes disgruntled staff. Actually, though, since we've been there quite a bit for breakfast, they know us now and are really friendly. We often go there for breakfast, especially when family is in town. Being able to walk there is a big bonus I guess. I really enjoy the standard breakfast food, their pancakes are really fluffy, eggs made really fast to order. It's also really cheap, lots and lots of food for not a lot money. Not some upscale breakfast place, but it is exactly what it looks like it is. One of these day's we'll have to try dinner there. I hope they have wine. Just wanted to add that we've eaten in about 3-4 other breakfast places around Berwyn, Oak Park, and LaGrange, and I still think Connie's is the best. I mean, it's a really good deal for quick served hot breakfast. I still need to eat dinner there. Just want to add that we did try dinner here and we won't do it again. I'm going to maintain the review of 4 stars because I still really like the breakfast.

I'm a big fan of their cream of chicken soup (special only on Wed and Sun) also love their breakfast! Owners are very nice and attentive!

The service absolutely stinks here. There's one waitress that doesn't even come to refill the drinks. She's rude and nor waitress material

Ok I just have to say thank you to Connie's family restaurant for the awesome party and food and served last night for my daughters 15 party we had such a good time last night I been coming to Connie's for years and they never disappoint me and i just want to thank Andy and his mother also their great waitresses for a great experience we'll be back soon

(2)Ronald U.
Love Connie's.Great food and great service. This is a win/win. Prices are reasonable for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Definitely stop if you are at Harlem and Windsor in Berwyn/Riverside. You won't be disappointed with this gem of a restaurant.
(5)Joze C.
(2)Andrew F.
The corned beef hash skillet is pretty good. The service could use some work and the place is a bit rinky dinky. But the food is good (not amazing) so I'm am satisfied.
(3)Lisa M.
This place has been here forever!! I worked here when I was a teen, and that was a very Long time ago.The food is good , came in for breakfast with a freind.Had Gyros and eggs, the gyro is real off the spit.very clean ,always was,for some reason i always forget about this place.Im going to start coming more offten.Billy and Tula have been the owners forever..
(4)Marcee W.
(2)Diaz M.

Food and the staff are great as always been eating here for years had the soup today chicken rice delicious and grilled cheese
(5)Susan V.
(2)Katie H.
(5)Miguel B.
(4)Paul N.
Bad food bad service, dont bother,i can cook better food.
(2)Cameka R.
(5)Angela T.
(4)Claire M.
(3)Southside C.
Tonight, we had the Chicken Parmesan and Reuben sandwich. The bread of the Reuben Sandwich must of been soaked in butter, and the pasta with the Chicken Parmesan was too oily. 2nd poor experience in dinner food.
(2)J. Chuck K.
(4)Aivle R.
(3)Lupe H.

(1)J M.
(5)Susan M.
(3)Juan P.
(5)K S.
Cheap and Good food. My bf and I have made this place our regular Saturday Morning breakfast place. It is to the point when the waitress knows what we want! We've gone here for lunch as well and it was decent. But I prefer the breakfast!
(4)Eric O.
Customer service great. Food is good and the menu is large enough and full of different types of food. Been here three times this week and might go again.
(4)David B.
Connie's is one of the best kept secrets in Berwyn. I try to go there at least once a month for breakfast. Their Skillets are best around and cheap! The service is always good and have never waited for a table. Always friendly, oh and did I mention cheap?
(4)Jesse S.
Gr8 Breakfast Always a good choice big variety especially When everybody wants some thing different!!!
(4)Roxanne M.
Well let me start by saying YaYas down the street used to be my weekend breakfast stop. I finally tried Connies , the best taste and quality of food. The owners and family are always on site to welcome you ,they go out of their way to make customers happy . Im really impressed I love this place. Breakfast is great , Lunch is great. Havent yet tried dinner but I will. Thanks Connies for always making sure your customers are happy!
(5)Amanda D.
Going to make this short and sweet and just give pointers: *the over all experience has improved! *the crab legs are awesome, they give you your money's worth *don't come late at night with few people and expect to get a good bowl of soup *the service is great: ask and you shall receive :)
(4)John B.
(4)Amy H.
Connie's is a solid breakfast Greek-type diner. The menu is HUGE! You can get anything for breakfast here and when you're planning to go on Berwyn's yearly mini-golf pub crawl, you're going to need a good food base.
(4)Miriam C.
Second time I have been here. I think the food is really good for the price. It taste "home made". Service seems to be on par. Was there with my three kids tonight, bill was $33.00 + tip. Not bad at all.
(4)Amy R.
(5)Deb S.
(3)Fallon P.
(2)Michael K.
All of their food is phenominal. Wonderful soups, salads, entrees. I have not been disappointed yet.
(5)Maggie D.
(5)Linda P.
(4)Valerie S.
(4)Christie K.
(4)Victoria h.
(4)Massiel H.
(4)Barbara J.
Great food and very good prices. The staff is always super friendly. We love this place!
(4)Derek G.
Connie's has been around since 1944. Ironically, that's probably the same year most of their clientele was born as well. Connie's is a no nonsense, old school dinner. No frills, no pizazz, just good food...and people your mother's age.
(3)Rena C.
(1)Jay S.
(5)Jeffrey A.
I love this place! I dine her frequently, usually for breakfast. The service is fantastic! They have very convenient hours. The food is delicious! Highly recommend it!
(5)Jerry D.
I love this place, the owner Bill is always there to greet me and the staff is attentive. Most of the food is pretty good. The main thing is that I feel welcomed every time I go there.
(5)Victoria M.
great neighborhood place. grilled cheese n soup are great here!! Esp the Cream of Chicken on Wednesday and Sunday!!
(5)Alejandro L.
Great Food; Great Service, Reasonable Prices and lots to choose from.
(5)John L.
(4)Dave B.
