Been there twice and the order was wrong both times, complaining does not seem to help as they have an attitude that they just do not care, not to mention the manager is about 18 years old and does not care if you eat there or not, and on top of that they take for ever to get your order ready. WILL NOT RETURN

I come here pretty regularly because...well...I live in Beecher. And because I have a cheese fry addiction. The food itself is good. Hot dogs, cheese fries, Italian beef (ask for mozzarella and au jus), tacos, and pickle chips are all good. The wait for your food is decent, but they do advertise that you should expect it since everything is made to order. They often ask you to pull around back and they'll bring it out when it's ready. Fine by me. Frozen yogurt is good. Cool mint, red velvet, and birthday cake are my favorites. They change every couple of weeks. They will also "swirl" two kinds for you if asked. I would probably give this place an additional star if it wasn't for the service. It's staffed by teenagers only and they aren't that friendly. When you get up to the drive-thru you're "greeted" with "what can I get you?" No hello or nothing. The last time I was at the window some girl handed me a bag, said nothing, and shut the window. Uhh? I had to go through the bags to realize I had everything. Nice.

Buddy's or whatever you call it(I still say "The Dari") is another "Beecher institution." I've been going here for as long as I can remember. This basically means this place starts at 5 stars for me but for various reasons has worked its way down to three. The ice cream(soft serve fyi), yogurt and all other deserts are great. No complaint from me. They may seem pricey but do yourself a favor and just get a small cone. The medium cone is HUGE. I've never actually seen a large cone since they switched their portion sizes but I have to imagine its just an absurd amount of ice cream. I also can't complain about how friendly or unfriendly the staff is. This is only because I probably know most of the staff on some level. If one of the counter girls is unfriendly to me its probably because her brother said i was a dick in highschool. What are you gonna do? Now for something I can complain about. While i really do like buddy burgers, the food here just takes forever and then is almost always cold when you finally do get it. I don't even understand how this is possible. Its like its made quickly and then they just decide to make you wait another 10 minutes while the food cools down. This why this place loses one star for me. The second star is lost on a move so bold I almost added a star for it. On their menu Buddy's has placed a name origin story that involves two guys ("buddies") with a dream of opening a drive-in Beecher. This is a flat out lie. Everybody in Beecher knows that this place is on about its 4th name and has mostly been run by married couples as it is now. I had to drop a star for the sheer audacity of this total fabrication and its really the only reason I'm writing this review. What the hell Buddy's.

I can only comment on the ice cream and more to the point sundays. They are big, delicious and, though a tad expensive, worth it. It made my day better. The best sundays I've had in a long time. I didn't try the food but really, can you expect anything more than a drive thru style food here? Teens at the window.. who cares? They didn't smile at you and tell you how handsome you look? C'mon it's a drive through not Olive Garden! Leave 'em a nice tip and maybe you'll get a smile. By the way the teens I had at the window smiled a little, what do you want they're teens at a fast food window? To me this is more a dessert place than it is a hotdog place. On a nice day stop in, sit at a picnic table in Smalltown USA and chill out with a nice cold soft serve delicious delight from Buddy's. I live about 6 miles north of Buddy's but end up there when I go get gassed up, (the car not my innards) as Beecher often has better gas prices.

I found this place by accident when trying to find a pet-friendly place for my dog's 5th birthday (I know, sounds crazy but my dog is currently my only child!). They have a "Man's Best Friend" section on the menu just for dogs. I haven't had a lot on the menu, but the Buddy Burgers are delicious! As for the dessert side of things, I haven't gotten past their frozen yogurt yet. They have 4 different flavors at once, and I've had the pleasure of trying the Hawaiian Pineapple, Strawberry, and Cotton Candy. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. They have a drive-thru as well as a walk-up window. Oh, and they have tables outside as well as a wide open space behind the building where you can sit and eat your food (with plenty of room for a dog to roam).

decent place. seems more like the local hang out for the teens. we went at the start of the season and it was slow and long to get our food. not worth the wait really.

I love this place. It's the biggest hole in the wall and obviously not fancy but the fries are amazing. I remember always coming as a kid and loved the burger. So juicy and fresh ! I'm hoping to try some type of ice cream or milkshake! This is deff a place worth trying. They even have a little play ground it's so cute ! I'll come around with a milk shake tip soon !

Stopped here by accident thinking it was a BBQ place called bubbas. It was a costly mistake.....the price of this place is good but the toll it took on my taste buds were what was so costly. I ordered a polish sausage with fries and a drink. Polish was hard and chewy with flavorless onions (not grilled) and a generic bun. The fries were almost identical to McDonald's. Sick....
