Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This is not that horrible Panda Express place off of Randall Road this place is an actual good Chinese food place. Ok so I never noticed this little spot I until I went to Dimples Donuts a few weeks ago. After moving back to the suburbs after living in the Chicago and having my fave Chinese places at my beckon delivery call-it has been very difficult to find a new Chinese place out this way (I mean I have found tons of places by In the NW suburbs where I grew up as a kid but nothing close to Western suburbs)...I think I have tried them all (the one that chipped off a chunk of my tooth to the one who charged me for someone else's meal-I never knew the work it would take to find good Chinese food!). This is not a fancy sit down Chinese place, it is more like a little hole in the wall, that you know has good food...this is a Chinese place where you get the best Chinese takeout (or delivery) ever. It has recognizable favourites like sweet and sour this and that and lo mein...I ordered the crab rangoon...phenomenal...they are a little on the sweeter side but very very delicious. I will readily admit I am a picky eater and allergic to everything known to man (my friends say I will be living on air and water soon) so this place was awesome they let me take things out and made it to order! And on top of it they got everything right! I got the lo mein and it was delicious very flavourful, I also got egg fried rice (for me it was egg, onion, and rice) which was really tasty as well (they make fried rice the way I love it a light brown colour of light soy sauce and it was not greasy, not mushy). While I was there waiting for my order (I added something when I got there, that I forgot to order on the phone) there were 3 people that came in for their orders...I think that is a good sign. There are about 4 tables in the dining area nothing fancy. I think mainly people use it to wait for take out food (well that is what I used it for). It is clean...I like like clean hole in the wall places. They have their menu online at pandabatavia.com . The prices are fair and they give you a ton of food...I have leftovers for a few meals which makes this girl very happy. The people who worked there are very friendly and nice...I felt very welcomed. I will be back and I found my new favourite Chinese place when I just don't feel like cooking and I want to eat directly out of those little Chinese takeout food boxes and watch a good movie on a cold winters night...one of the joys of being currently single (no sharing!). :) My recommendation is to go here get some great take out and then hop about 3 doors down to Dimples Donuts. :) you will not be disappointed.

I normally don't enjoy eating Chinese food. It's like my body is telling me how bad it is for me (and yet says nothing when I eat raw cookie dough). On those rare occasions that I actually do want fried meat covered in syrupy goo, I want to make sure what I'm getting doesn't suck. My husband and I moved to Batavia last year and since then, we've only gotten Chinese food twice. We tried East China Inn down the street and it was gross. So after reading reviews on Yelp for Panda, I didn't have very high hopes. But it was close enough for us to walk to, so a phone call was made. Well, you know what? Their food actually wasn't that bad! Their crab rangoon isn't sweet (most places like to put powdered sugar in there for some reason, I think), their eggrolls were just okay (don't consider me an authority on it though), their sweet and sour pork was pretty good, and I enjoyed their General Tso's chicken, but it was on the sweet side. My husband got the shrimp egg foo young and he said it was delicious, but egg foo young looks like an alien embryo to me so I didn't try any. So the next time I get a craving for Chinese food, in a year or so probably, we'll be checking Panda out again. So if a person who doesn't really like Chinese food actually liked this Chinese food, I'd say you have a pretty good chance of liking it too.

The food was great! It was a lot better than expected. The place was a little run down, but it didnt seem like they got too much service which is a shame. The lady was very nice, however the reason I am giving this four stars is because their young son (maybe 10) was working the cash register. He seemed so sad, and it was sad to see him working during the summer instead of playing with friends. My sister and I gave him $5 in tips, and even that didnt make him smile. I feel so horrible for him. Please dont force your son to work here so young!!! Wait until he is 16!

Hmmm...what changed here? The food used to be so good! Somewhat recently however, things took a turn for the worse. I would still say the food is decent, but not good enough to prevent me from considering other places first. Please hire back the cook you had previously and make us all happy again.

Just ordered from this place and its fuckin horrible I understand for 5 dollars your not going to get alot of food or alot of quality, but seriously get your priorities straight pretty sure I just ate dog and or raccoon. Stay away its incredibly disgusting!

This is our go to local Chinese place for delivery and pick up. Always seem to get the sesame chicken and general tso's. Mongolian beef doesn't have a lot of beef and a lot of onion, not the best. But as far as a go to for a local Chinese place, pretty good. We keep coming back.

Not to be mixed up with the chain resturant, this a local family owned joint. Very good food and very good service. Last time I was there, i got the steamed vegtables with mixed rice (and garlic sauce). Very generous portions for the size and price.

Love the food! We have never had anything that we did not like. The house fried rice is delicious. Reminds me if being in Chinatown in San Francisco, is always fresh, hot and the big portions are enough to feed my hungry family. We order for pick up and it is always ready within 20 minutes.
