I've probably ordered delivery from this place about 20 times, and it has NEVER disappointed. Consistency and overwhelming tastiness are the highlights here. The menu isn't expansive, but what they do they most certainly do right. I hope they stick around for a long time, because even typing this review makes me want one of their bacon burgers. For dinner. Tonight. Again.

3 Stars is the A-OK rating, and that's what this place is. I went on a Tuesday for lunch with a coworker. We had been looking for a good hotdog in the area. I had a chi style H-Dog with fries and a pizza puff. The hotdog certainly left something to be desired. The bun was soft, but not the poppy seed variety I typically prefer. The dog itself did not look or act like a true redhot. It was pale in color with no snap at all. The tomatoe was a lucid white, and had no flavor. All in all, the dog wasn't bad, but not great either. The fries appear to be fresh cut skin on. The were pretty good as fries go, but also nothing to write home about. The pizza puff was good. It was your standard puff, cooked properly and served hot. One big plus for me was the fountain Coke Zero, which everyone should have. They have some very reasonable daily specials, and the guy behind the counter was friendly and congenial. I may go back, but not for the hotdog.

Formerly the Chicago Char House that left alot to be desired. Bulldogs has all the standard fare that can be 4 star or 2 star depending when you go. Unfortunatley, you dont know what level of stars you are getting until you sit down to eat your food. Fries are fresh cut and can be awesome or greasy. Gyros and dogs, Ive had the 2 and 4 star versions of both. Prices are fair, Very cold in winter. Worth one visit.

I love Bulldogs! It is very festive to our town and the food is delicious!! I love the hot dogs and fries! Its near the river so its nice to grab your food and walk over to the park and eat outside.

I love this place! The owner Allen is the absolute nicest man! He even makes me my own vegan salad when I go here with my boyfriend who LOVES the burgers and fries! I could not say enough about the excellent customer service!!

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. It's like I stepped back in time, to a time when fries were Fenched and cheeses were curdled. I very much liked this trip to a better time! The food is extremely reasonable in price and considering that, very decent! I mean, I haven't gotten sick from it, so that's one up over Portillos. The only downside is that I was accosted by a Redcoat outside. A British invasion force set out to plunder the town and I nearly died making my escape. I blame this all on the previously mentioned 'going back in time', and therefor will not hold it against the proprietor.

I love this place, it's cute in a nice location. The staff is always friendly to me, and I like their food. It's very festive for Batavia, and the tiles in the ceiling reminded me of in middle school when we did those projects. It also has a lot of things to look at and remind you of your days in the Batavia Public School System. I like it:)

That beef... It's almost as if they're making it fresh daily. (Hint: They are.)

Nothing special, but it is a tasty, local hot dog joint that every town around Chicago should have. Good, solid food (hot dogs, burgers, gyros, Polish) but their hand-cut fries are outstanding! All the food is made fresh, but the friendly staff has it out to you with a quickness. Stop in for lunch!

Fast food here is pretty good. We came from a long bike ride and my kids were hungry. We got chicken sandwich, cheese burgers, chicken fingers and meatball sandwich. Chicken fingers were processed also that was a bummer bit it did taste good. Their fries were fresh cut. Everyone liked their food. It was fast to order, good tasting and good price. Dining area was nothing to rave about but it was clean. But it was a little warm so hopefully when it gets hotter outside they will turn on the air conditioning. Good thing I looked it up on yelp because yelp gave me a 10% discount...wood woot!

Good food, great friendly service, a real hometown kind of place. I recently started a new job across Wilson and have been to bulldog's several times for lunch.

This is a decent Hot Dog Joint and local establishment. A "4 star" rating may be a bit generous, but I'll explain. They understand French Fry "101", Double Fry fresh cut spuds! Bulldogs definitely supports the Batavia community. "Noteworthy". However when the owners are present the service "pops"...when not. the service "drops". They serve a decent "Chicago Style Hot Dog". The point is, you can "nit-pic" forever your preference of the perfect hot dog. "Is the bun poppy seed or not, does the hot dog have a "snap" or do you care, is every vegetable condiment lined up perfectly to compliment every bite! I understand the purists, but does the taste work for you? That's all that matters.

Good hotdog, burger, gyro place. Price is appropriate for what you get. Pretty much what you would expect from a small local hot dog place.

Decided last minute to grab a bite to eat and since Bulldogs was right next to the place I get my hair cut I though I would stop in and try it for the first time, the atmosphere was positive and supportive of the Batavia Bulldogs, BUT I do have to say the food was very poor! I ordered the blue cheese burger w/ fries & a drink. The burger was cooked well done, I can tell they pressure cooked it bc there was little to no flavor. The fries where average, but fries are fries haha. To be honest the meal cost 9$ & some change, for a dollar or so cheaper I could go to Portillos and get a bigger burger cooked to quality. I must say I was disappointed

I went in for lunch and ordered the cheese burger and fry meal. My coworker got a deli sandwich that was with gluten free bread. Both meals were good and reasonably priced. Love the hometown feel of this place! Bulldog stuff everywhere. I'll be back soon.

Good idea for after the game with the kids because it's all decorated with Batavia sports memorabilia. Your usual burgers, hotdogs, and fries place. The also have a sandwich shop which is connected next door called North Island Sandwich Shoppe. Haven't had a chance to try this one yet but I'll give it a try.

The best Philly steak sandwich I've had since I left the East Coast. Am a big fan of the cheese steak and have spent many years trying to find a sandwich worthy of the name--well I found it! Bulldog's Philly is great...love the hand cut fries too...friendly environment makes it all the better...will definitely be back....and often

Really disappointed. Been wanting to try it. Girl at register was bummy and rude. They do not cater to customers orders either. And they think a hamburger only ketchup means toss some good ole cheese on it. Never again.

Loved the place when it was the Char House, new owners have really cleaned-up the place, but it not quite the sames.... Better because it is CLEAN and there is a small tv...... Not as good - food is just different: Fries are GREAT, but the beef is not as good, and my wife used to love the tuna melt and now cant stand it... They are doing a great job of getting involved with the community. Stopped in on a Sat afternoon around noon, few other people in the joint, wait was not long, my beef was ok, little guys chicken nuggs were GREAT! 1 beef special (drink, fries) 1 kids chicken nuggets Total - $12.34

I went in to Bulldog's on Saturday, October 22 for lunch. It was super crowded, probably because of Bat Fest in the downtown area. We had to wait a while for our food and somewhere to sit. This was frustrating. There were kids everywhere. We weren't sure we were even going to stay but as I looked around, I noticed that the owners are strong supporters of the community. They had thank you notes from lots of local community groups. This was very impressive so we decided to wait it out. When the food finally arrived, it was well worth the wait. I ordered the strawberry walnut salad from the deli. It was delicious and clearly was freshly made. My husband ordered a hot dog and fries. The fries are fresh cut and unlike any others around. The hot dog was made just like a Chicago style hot dog should be. He loved it. My son has a gluten allergy and was able to get a sandwich from the deli on gluten free bread. It was awesome to allow him such choices. As we were eating, the owner came out personally and greeted us. It was a very family-friendly atmosphere. I'm very glad that we waited out the long line and delay in getting our food. It was an excellent lunch and we'll definitely be back.
