Two Brother's Roundhouse in general is an awesome place, but this review is for the Coffee House section. I frequent this location on a regular basis because I work from home and it's a great getaway for a few hours, along with the opportunity to have a delicious cup of coffee or tea to help pass the time. The vibe is awesome and all of the baristas/staff are really nice and accommodating. They've always been happy to answer any questions I have about the menu or suggest a drink if I'm looking to try something new. There are plenty of tables to sit at, though only a few have access to an electrical outlet, so I suggest making sure your devices are charged before planning on staying awhile, or visiting in the afternoon before it gets crowded. Weekends are definitely busier, during the week is never really an issue for me. Plenty of pastries to choose from that complement the coffees, as well as sandwiches and soups for a quick lunch. Although this is the coffee portion of the restaurant, they do have taps at the coffee bar if you're wanting a great brew instead of coffee, but don't want to sit at the regular bar. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better coffee shop in the burbs.

I've been going here for a little over a year, probably stopping in once or twice a week. This is the coffee shop that actually turned me on to pour-overs and single origin beans. I really can't give this place enough praise. The people who work here are nice, knowledgeable, and inviting. I've visited a few other coffee shops in the area but none of them hold a candle to Two Brothers.

Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised when I came into this cafe. When I found Two Brothers on yelp I did not realize it was also a brewery. Before walking in I decided to call and double check. The person who guided me was very nice and sounded like she gets this question often. When I walked in, the place was huge and had a great fireplace giving a homelike feel. I walked towards left where the cafe was. There they had the brewery in a glass casing for everyone to see. It was really neat! When I ordered a mocha, I was very excited to hear they had almond milk!!! The coffee was 200x better than what you get commercially!! As I sat down with my coffee and cracked opened my books, I realized that many people who walked on were waiting for or just got off the train. I thought that's a cool way to get people going and meet different individuals. If you like people watching INDOORS, this might be your spot. When I packed my belongings and head for the bathroom, I also noticed they had flyers for live music performances on Fridays and Saturdays! This place cannot get anymore cooler than that! If you want food, coffee, music, good people.. This is the place to be! I cannot wait to come back for another drink.. Maybe next time it will be a local brew!!!

Finally! A real coffee shop/cafe where I can sit sipping delicious coffee, nibble on a yummy baked good, and work on my computer without feeling rushed or unwanted! ;)

I charge my Tesla here so I come in and hang out over a coffee. Most of their beverages and snacks are awesome, as are their whole beans that I take home to brew myself. I decided to try their cold brew today and it was quite awful, which is surprising given how good everything else has been. I hope I got a bad batch. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place. The staff rocks!

I love absolutely everything about the Roundhouse. I mean, it's HUGE and very diverse. This review is strictly for the Two Brothers Coffee Roasters cafe though :) I've been to the Roundhouse before, but for an event outside, a concert one time and for late night drinks. This time around I'd thought I'd try out Coffee Roasters! Fellow Yelpers seem to like it, so I figured I'd spend the second half of my day working remotely from here. I came here with the intension to sit on there outside patio since it was such a beautiful day, but they had some pretty good jams playing in the background inside and the atmosphere seemed welcoming so I claimed a spot. I wish I were hungry because they actually have a whole Deli menu full of sandwiches, salads, soup and pastries. Next time though, next time. I was however thirsty and in need of an afternoon pick me up. When I decided it was not in my best interest to venture over to the bar for one of their delicious beers so early in the afternoon, I went to check out the coffee & tea menu. Iced green tea has been a summer favorite of mine, so when I didn't see it on the menu I took a chance and asked if they had it. They actually one-upped me! Instead of plain green tea, they had iced Mojito Green Tea which just sounded fascinating. Of course I gave it a whirl and boy I'm glad I did. This beverage is super refreshing and absolutely delish. It was just the drink I needed mid-afternoon. I was all coffee-ed out, but still had a lot of work to do. Coffee Roasters is a great spot to hang if you've got some work to crank out. Lots of windows, great music and friendly staff. My only complaint is their lack of outlets. It be really cool if they had like a charging station centrally located between all their cafe tables. Then my life would have been complete!

Yumm! If you are a coffee snob like me you will love this place. Single origin roasts, French press and pour-overs are among the treats that make this a destination coffee stop. Nothing like it outside the city! Also to try are the baked goods, actually fresh and delicious! The folks there really know their stuff too! Love it!!!

We came here after a brewery tour at the Warrenville location (where we learned that two brothers also makes coffee!) We came to get a chemex for two. The girl had no idea how to make it and the other worker didn't even offer to help... Once it was finally done... The beans were so burnt that it was just terrible. I'm sad to say we bought a bag of coffee at the warenville location. It wasn't cheap coffee. $17 for the bag. I would not recommend two brothers for coffee this far.... Stick with the beer

I felt a little funny walking into Two Brothers Roundhouse in search of a cup of coffee. I have to say, it's a brilliant business plan to add coffee to the menu in order to drum up business during the day. The environment is good to relax or get some work done, but as others noted, there's a lack of outlets. The music is hip and modern, it looked like one of the employees customized the playlist from their iPod or laptop at the coffee counter. I didn't spend much time here, I ordered a matcha green tea latte, read some e-mails, and then hit the road. Two Brothers roasts their own coffee, and although I didn't try it, I did really like my matcha green tea latte. I don't come out to this part of Aurora often, but coffee houses and breweries are exactly what Aurora needs to re-vamp itself. It's also very convenient to the Metra station - skip the heinous parking situation at Route 59 and get on the train at Broadway instead. You can get a great cup of coffee, and the parking situation didn't appear nearly as complicated.

Just tried the cheddar and ham croissant for the first time. Fantastic. Convenient and delicious if you pop in before jumping on the Metra. Have yet to try their coffee but am sure that's great as well.

If I had to describe myself using one word, it'd probably be 'untimely' because I'm often inappropriate and I'm never ever ever on time. ... except for this one day when I was like 45 minutes early for a meeting with a friend and was able to soak up that time by whetting my whistle at Two Brothers Coffee Roasters. It also just so happens to be the only time I've ever been on time where something good came from it (usually it's just me waiting around like a doof). So the good thing was that my meeting was at another venue here within Two Brothers Roundhouse (the stage/theater room) for their monthly brew and view movie showing when I remembered that this fine not-so-little coffee shop was built here. Huzzah! Enter, one of the most frothy and delicious matcha green tea lattes ever! It was so good that if it were a movie, it have starred Nic Cage and Anjeline Jolie because that ish was gone in 60 seconds. No really, I think it *maybe* took me a minute to finish the whole thing before I was back in line and ordering a second one... after all, I did have 44 more minutes to kill before my friend arrived. I've been on a match kick lately and was mega pumped to see this offering make it on the menu. My order (and the order of the 2 women in front of me) certainly took a hot minute... or 10 (hope you're not in a hurry to catch a train), but it was worth it... plus, I had no where to be but there. I was surprised at how spacious the place was. You could easily fit 60+ people in their and it'd be perfect for study groups, catching up with friends, book clubs, and more... plus, they also serve beer and the cafe tap beers seemed to be a bit more exclusive than the ones you could get at the bar in the brew and view room (Yeah, Bare Tree!). There's a full baking set up in the coffee roaster area so they make their own biscotti, scones, muffins, granola, cookies, and all the rest of the delicious baked goods you hope to see in a coffee setting. They also had several sandwich options, though I don't believe they were available at the late hour I'd come in. Their general hours are stellar, open 5:30am to 9pm during the week (9-9 and 10-8 on weekends), so you can get your perk at most hours of the day. I'm more of a coffee infusion person that a true coffee person, but my SO loves being able to grab a bag of Two Brothers coffee beans at our local liquor store and I love when he makes it so I can "ruin it with toxic, flavored coffee creamer", or whatever he's always yapping about. It's good sh*t. Their selection of coffee, teas, smoothies, and other various mixed concoctions was truly impressive and the price was on point or just under what I'd pay at a Starbucks or other more local coffee stop. My only gripe would be that they were kind of severely lacking in outlets for customers to use, so come with a full battery charge on whatever device you plan in laying with or working on. Though it should be noted that the friendly barista man let me plug into the outlet behind the espresso bar. I can't wait to come back and definitely get another matcha green tea latte and maybe get a few other concoctions when I suck the first drink down before I even have a chance to pay.

Being fortunate enough to live a block away from the Two Brothers Roundhouse complex means i'm no stranger to Two Brothers and their wonderful beer and food. When I heard that they were getting into the coffee business, i was equal parts skeptical and excited. Months after hearing the news and seeing the construction in process, Two Brothers Coffee Roasters was born, and the cafe within the Two Brothers Roundhouse is just wonderful. You walk in and to the left to a very spacious and accommodating seating area with chairs + tables, and individual couch seating with coffee tables. Everything is very clean, there's free WiFi, magazines to read, everything you need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, if you don't know what you want, they're knowledgeable and eager to help. Even after you've picked up your order and sat down, they'll occasionally walk by and just ask how you're doing and see if you need anything else. Not too obtrusive, but they definitely want you to have a pleasant experience. But onto the part you came here to read, the food and coffee. For a company with, as far as i know, no coffee background, their entrance into the coffee game is spot on. Their entry level brewhouse blend drip coffee (which is roasted at their brewery in Warrenville) is light, flavorful and incredibly smooth drinking. No bitterness here! There's a variety of pour-over coffees, lattes, teas, all of which are complex and rich and best of all: reasonably priced! Food is usual cafe fare, ranging from cookies, lemon bars, various types of muffins, salads, mac n cheese, and sandwiches. If you stop by for breakfast, be sure to check out the Bacon Cheddar muffin! It's their priciest pastry at $5, but well worth it! Everything is prepared on-site and behind the counter using fresh ingredients and served on/in eco-friendly and compostable packaging, so there's no guilt here. My only wish is that there was a bit more of a food selection, but then again, that's what Jakes Deli across the street is for. :) Overall, Two Brothers' first entrance into coffee is a success in my book, and being attached to the Aurora Transportation Center makes Two Brothers Coffee Roasters the perfect place to grab your morning cup and a snack for your metra commute. Well done Two Brothers!!

Every part of the roundhouse is incredible. Aurora is so lucky to have this place. The historic building provides a fun and casual environment. From beer and local fare to pour over coffee, loose leaf tea, and espresso, they know their stuff. My sisters and I love meeting friends for dinner or drinks on weekends, but the addition of a cafe makes the roundhouse my go to place for studying or relaxing. Everyone is incredibly friendly and personable. They always remember your name and tidbits about your life. This place is the perfect marriage between a small town coffee shop and a trendy place you would find in Chicago. Watching the baristas brew espresso or pour overs is like watching artists at work. There is a great selection of teas, and the espresso is incredible.
