I'm not sure what it is about Panera's located inside of malls but they always seem to be a little bit less clean, a little bit less friendly, and a little bit slower w/how quickly your food is prepared...nonetheless, the food is always great. 4 stars across the board for cleanliness, customer service, speed of food preparation, and taste of food.

Well, first of all, I'm writing this on my phone via my 4G because Panera's WiFi won't connect with my phone or tablet. The only reason I am eating here is because my car is being serviced and there are few dining options in this mall. But this place is worse than the average Panera, which are generally pretty average on the whole. Why? There is a confused ordering setup, several ordering and pickup stations with poor signage so people just loiter around unsure as to where to begin. Staff don't seem to listen very well. The girl who rang me up got my order wrong (I caught it) and then shoved my stuff in a bag though I was eating in. Other patrons are tacky: there's a God's waiting room set (a la the Einstein's in downtown Naperville) yukking it up in one corner and two mouthy mall walker women bitching at another table. And food is just so-so. Panera has the fatal habit of getting rid of things that people like, and then self-congratulating when they bring them back. (Right now it is frozen lemonade, strawberry poppyseed salad and jalapeño bagels). I was here a week or so ago with my parents as well and had the same indifferent experience. Only reason I really came today was for the WiFi, which is dysfunctional...seemingly like the rest of the place. Avoid.

Wayyyyy overpriced for what you get. The prices are high and the portions are small. Not sure what the allure is here but their quality is severely lacking for a $8 panini sandwich. And $4.50 for a cup of soup is unheard of. Totally ridiculous.

This Panera sucks. Always crowded. Sometimes a bit dirty. The set up is strange. Not a fan. Food is fine and comparable to every other Panera.

My wait for a bagel and a coffee this morning, just as the mall was opening, was sooooo looooong. The two cashiers were occupied with customers, and the line grew behind me. One of the cashiers seemed perplexed about filling a bagel order. The last time I was here, it was winter and lunchtime. I ordered broccoli cheese soup and paid for it. When my order arrived at the counter, they told me they were "out of the broccoli cheese soup." Do yourself a favor and go over to the Route 59 location by Best Buy. The staff is a lot better and there's less hassle.

Not happy for many reasons. I've been at this location twice and both times I left unhappy. The first visit the sandwich was good and flavorful, but the bread was a little chewy. The following day my jaw was sore. I ordered two pecan rolls to go and they were as dry as the Sahara desert. It was disappointing. It almost looked like it was stale old bread. Gosh, what a disappointment. Spending a lot of money for old bread. The second time I came in for breakfast and the sandwich, which I paid over $5 and it was small. Didn't fill me up. Nothing inside. The employee who made the sandwich seemed upset, maybe annoyed preparing the sandwich. The employees were working very hard while two female managers sat and were having a personal conversation with one another. Gossiping. I know, because they were sitting across from me and they were talking loudly. I will not return to this restaurant.the mall has other places to eat.

What is up with the fruit flies? They were everywhere. I generally enjoy meals at most Panera Bread locations, but I have to say that this was the worst when I comes to the atmosphere. The food was good, but I can not enjoy any meal that is interrupted by the constant annoyance of fruit flies buzzing by my face.

Awesome place to go after school before college classes begin. Great for out of town guests. Book clubs, performers, poetry setting. People that want to relax in a smooth atmosphere. Great ambiance.

I used to be a frequent customer to panera until when i visited the fox valley location. First off, it took forever to order, and i usually only have to wait no more than 5 minutes for my food. My friend and i were waiting fifteen minutes until we received our food. Well when i was eating my broccoli cheddar soup, i bit into something hard thinking it was a hard crouton, but that wasn't the case. It was a piece of the ceramic bowl that broke up from whenever someone served the soup and neglected to see that. How dangerous, i could have broken my tooth! I told the manager and she asked if my tooth was ok and i said not sure, i will know soon enough... Then sent me on my way. She said she couldn't give a refund. She said well its not my fault. Not to mention this place was extremely dirty! This experience was something i will never forget...

The staff is informative, friendly, and love their jobs. The food is excellent, also came out prompt. I'd recommend this Panera to anyone that wants a great cafe experience.

so i finally tried panera bread. i've known about the franchise for a few years now but have never actually been to one. i appreciate them stating that they use a better quality chicken on their sandwiches and salads. i had the chipotle chicken sandwich which came with a pickle and a small bag of chips (made without additives... just potatoes, sunflower oil, and salt) everything seemed pretty fresh and the prices weren't too bad
