Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Went there for lunch and waited 20 min for a waitress, we were the only ones there besides the one guy at the bar.

If you are always in search for the best pizza ever, Mike and Denise's is the place. This little hole-in-the-wall never would have struck me as a place that can produce the best pizza, but DAMN, it's good!!! I was in town visiting a friend and he suggested we go there for a drink after our round of golf. I'm sure glad we did. The pizza is just the right amount of greasiness, cheesiness and deliciousness. The two of us devoured a large pizza with sausage and pepperoni. This meat was perfect and believe me, they didn't skimp on the toppings. As for the rest of the pub, the Guinness was perfectly poured by Brian, a.k.a. Big Al and I ruled the dart board. I suggest that everyone in Aurora (remember Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure?) stop in for the best pizza in town. You won't regret it!

I was looking for a place to watch the Monday Night game this week and discovered this gem in Aurora. Huge place which was empty Sunday Night. They had huge screens and I couldn't count the number of screens I think they had eight and that was just in the bar area and not counting the bar. The projection screens was a great way to catch a football game. The pizza was great and the drinks very resonable. I would highly recommend this place as it is one of the few places worth to go in Aurora. Half of the place is a restaurant and the other half is a typical bar. Both sides are big and when combined under one roof makes this a pretty big place. I am surprised I never ran into this place reviewed by suburban area papers. Would definately go again if I lived in the Aurora area which fortunely I don't.

I went here twice. i went last week on the 15th for my birthday then again last night. I like the place...granted, no waitress came to our table to serve us...but what do you expect? We were at the BAR. It's seat yourself and you kind of have to go to the counter to flag a waitress so you can start getting service. but once you do get a waitress, you get served promptly. granted, you may have to wait about 3 minutes on a REALLY busy night but worth it. They have karaoke on friday and it is so fun! the pizza was GOOD even cold (and only cold because i didn't eat it right away when it came out because i told my friends i didn't want any but i changed my mind last minute after it had been sitting on the table 30 minutes) if the pizza was good cold/room temperature...i can only imagine the greatness if i had eaten it hot! it's a great place that is very lively. the only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because perhaps the drunk guy that was hitting on me and my friend last night (though it WAS hilarious at how FAIL he was)? but then again, it IS a bar..and in my opinion..no matter WHAT bar you go to...you are bound to get hit on by some drunk dude...

This is a nice quiet little bar on the outskirts of aurora. My cousin practically lives here so from what I've seen and what he has told me its a good place. Food is good and its nice and roomy. It has a sort of "cheers" type atmosphere that I feel a lot of bars are missing these days. I'm giving it 4 stars because after the remodeling is done I think it's going to be really fantastic.

We have been going to Mike and Denise's for years. They are consistent, have family service, and deliver in the suburbs (yay!). The trivia nights are fun (though they usually start at least an hour+ late), and they have live music and big screens for the games (check their website). Pizza is great, other food is pretty good as well. There are pool tables and darts, sometimes bags tournaments, and a full bar. It's also important to know that if you plan to eat, it's a mom and pop shop, so it can sometimes take quite a while to get your food (delivery is actually quicker at times). Lots of fun, they try to keep the place fresh, and a friend of mine just mentioned that they are starting dueling pianos on Fridays now. Can't beat that!
