Not terrible food, but terrible customer service. Took a long time for server to come to table, & he forgot to bring us our drinks; when leaving, we asked assistant manager Elizabeth if our server was new, she said yes, but wasn't curious as to why we were asking. They could've made a bad situation better, but decided not to. No one, including our server or the manager asked us how our visit/food was. Will definitely not come back to this location.

This visit was better than our last. The food was good and prompt. Service was good. Overall is an okay place. Like I said this time was better, this visit was a last chance after our last experience. I think we will be back.

We stopped in on a whim being out and about since the kids were hungry. Wow the place was packed! I found out that it was "free slice of pie w entree Wednesday". Nice. Baker's Club- turkey, ham, bacon, cheese was not bad- plenty hefty, light on the lettuce/tomato. BLT- the same. All American Crush Burger- big, tasty, cooked perfectly, dripping with burger juice. Fish and Chips were outstanding! The fish had a nice crisp malty-tasty batter and was cooked just right- toasted on the outside, not rubbery on the inside. Fries? Bleh. Free pie. Much better this time. Coconut cream, apple cheesecake were good, my boy had a peanut butter and chocolate concoction that kept his sugar level way up there til bedtime! $3.39 for iced tea and lemonade? Ouch. Gotta make up for the "free" pie I suppose. Call it a wash. Better experience this time than last. Upgrading to "A-OK". Great waiter- I wonder if it was Josh, based on another reviewer's description. Excellent service even with being packed with the geriatric free pie crowd.

So, This review is based on the food and the service: If you have a choice, you want your server to be JOSH- (tall, slim, Caucasian). He makes you feel at home and is pleasant at all times. He also knows his pie and is always happy to help. We normally go at 10pm, when the food should be either stale, messy, or cold, but it is quite the opposite. Crisp, warm fries, pleasantly asthetic presentation of the food, and overall great-tasting food in general! The only reason I couldn't give it a 5 was because there was no soap in the little girls' room and it took a few requests to get it, but other than that- this is the place to be on Free-pie Wednesdays! Sooo gooood.

Fast service, good food, wonderful management!! Would recommend to anyone!! Brand new menu! Pies are made daily fresh in the store. They won 73 1st place blue ribbons out of 140 in the U.S. Pie national bake off in Florida this year!! Big company American Blue Ribbon Holdings is. They own Legendary Baking, Max and Erma's, Baker's Square, Village inn, O'Charlies, 99 Restaurant and pub, and Stoney River Legendary Steaks! Over 700 stores nation wide! Doesn't sound like a small franchise to me like some absent minded reviewers call them! Food is great! Great family dining experience! You won't be disappointed!

Here's the deal: For a chain, the menu is pretty good. I could drink their honey mustard with a straw, so I order the honey mustard chicken (sandwich is good as is the entree--can't go wrong with the rice pilaf with those sauteed mushrooms). The tomato basil soup is nice. As for the pie, it hasn't changed in forever. You either like it or you don't. I personally like the ones with the graham cracker crust (especially the cream cheese apple or strawberry). I've been to this location a few times lately, and each time have noticed that the servers are great but that the place is understaffed. Also, there's a funky smell, especially by the door. Or maybe it just SEEMS like it's by the door, but it's throughout and I just get used to it. It might be a cleaning product. Anyway, I don't like it, that smell.

Baker's Square expanded their menu a few years back, but neither I nor my children have necessarily taken advantage of this new bill of fare. My kids are picky eaters, which always makes the choice of a restaurant controversial, but they all seem to find something to eat at Baker's Square. My kids usually get grilled cheeses and breakfast food. It's not the healthiest food, but they enjoy it and even ask to go here. I get the patty melt and am always surprised how much I like it. I no longer eat french fries--unless they are from Baker's Square. Sorry, but the fries here are just too tasty. It is my wife who has taken advantage of the new cuisine; each time we visit, she seems to get something new. She orders what my mom would recognize as a real dinner; they offer her fruit and soup and bread. She'll tell me if she doesn't like something (believe you me, she'll tell me), and she still brings us back, so the food must be decent. Two of my kids do not like pie. This is not a problem, though, as they can simply get a scoop of ice cream. Having lost forty (40) pounds over the past year, I rarely get pie. And I miss it. If I could lay off the fries, I'd indulge in a piece of French Silk . . . but I can't lay off them there fries. I think what I like best about Baker's Square (this one, at least), besides the fact that my kids love it, is the service. The people who work here are so damn cool. For instance, yesterday, the server gave my son and my wife an extra slice of pie because the slices they served them were "not perfectly cut." My son, who is almost ten, was obviously thrilled! What's more, they usually give us one of the large, round tables in the corner, and so we have plenty of room. The interior looks so much better since they've remodeled a few years ago! So much friendlier. We always have a pleasant experience. Finally, if you or someone you know is a connoisseur of grilled cheese sandwiches, get a loaf of the bread they sell by the counter. I'm sure it is loaded with calories, but it makes a perfect grilled cheese. I like this place. I'm surprised it took me so long to write about it.

There isn't anything special or different about this Baker's Square. It's the same as the rest, and as a rule, I usually don't eat at chain restaurants like this. I prefer locally owned businesses. But every once in a while, we crave a piece of pie, and they do have a free slice of pie on Wednesdays with any meal. So that's usually what gets us in the door. One plus is that they serve breakfast all day. The problem is that it's usually not that great. I would probably never come if it wasn't for the pie. They've changed my favorite pie (peanut butter cup) and made it a little different. It's not as good anymore but I still like the graham cracker crust. The food options are decent and not too over whelming. However, most of the food is bland and feels like it's pre-made or frozen and heated up. I have my suspicions at most places. The servers here are pretty nice though we've had our orders messed up a few times. But again, we go on Wednesdays when they're busy. So I never blame the servers or take it out on them. If you like the food, more power to you. But there are better options!

Okay..I know it's a chain, but so what? The staff here rocks, Pie Rush kicks ass and they are they make a tasty Cobb Salad. Hell, you can get one for breakfast ...which is perfect on days I want veggies and protein after being dragged through the park by my faithful hounds in the AM. They've taken to mixing the dressing with the salad and all that nonsense, so I just tell them not to play with my food stuffz and we're cool. A bonus is they make their own croutons and they are fantastic..and fattening. Oi! *shakes fist* (they give me two slices on the side for my dogs) Want to split something with a friend? They'll arrange two equal portions for you without so much as an eyeroll. Warm cornbread: Hello! Unlimited, free refills of their brewed iced tea and pop: A thirst-quenching steal in that vast sea of no-free nuttin' no hows. They've redecorated recently and the restaurant looks nice, but they've added 2 televisions that seem entirely out of place. The cooking channel is always on so you can still slip into a booth for some quality conversation. I hope they keep this location up-to-snuff because the servers and managers here are always eager to get things right so that you leave happy and if that means whipping up something off-menu or adjusting a dish, they do so with a smile...and that's the best part of coming here. Well, that and the Lemon Meringue.

The food was good. The service? Not so much. There were 3 people waiting in line to pay. We peeked over by the food preparers who didn't seem like they were too busy. We didn't know that the person who seated us ('Courtney') also checks out. When she saw us peeking, she said "you'll have to wait, we're a bit busy'. Huh? How rude was that??? That statement was indicative of the service this restaurant provides.

Been going here for years with friends, and it's an ok place if you are in the neighborhood, but nothing really to write home about. Some of the menu is a bit overpriced if you ask me. Usually the service is pretty good, and the staff is friendly. I know every business has their moments where things just don't go right, and I completely understand. I thought things went downhill because they got rid of the classic chocolate cream pie. Not a whole lot of choices for chocolate lovers on the pie list. French silk is so-so, and the brownie is too rich. The Choco cream was good because it was just right. The last couple times I was there, they were out of the choices that I was wanting. I listed about 3 different ones, and was told they are out of it. Not a bad place at all, but they need to change up the menu with the pies a bit, or add on more desserts. I don't go for Pie Rush Wednesdays because it gets too crazy in there.

I've always been a fan of Baker Square. It's close to my house and their menu has some great options. My favorite part of the place is their French Silk Pie. If I'm getting dinner, I go for the Honey Mustard Chicken Foccacia. They recently updated their menu, adding a bunch of new items and remodeled the restaurant. It now has a very modern feel - kind of cornerstone bakery-esque. A great little place to grab dinner or sit for a while with a friend and catch up over pie and coffee.

This Baker's Square pales in comparison to the one that I grew up by. It's a shame, really. Have gone for pie many times, and the service is fine, the pie is fine. Went for dinner, ordered my staple fish and chips and was disgusted with the fish. Instead of being small chunks of fried fish, it was battered and looked baked, definitely not what it used to be. I ended up sticking with the fries. I wrote a letter to Customer Service about this switcheroo and they sent me a coupon for a free meal. When I went back, I asked the waiter about the fish and chips, and he explained that they had made a switch but now have gone back to the old recipe. Thank goodness. Unfortunately, there is VERY little on the menu for vegetarians. They used to have a GREAT veggie melt, but that's off the menu. Even the grilled cheese comes with bacon. They will accomodate, but it's definitely an inconvenience. Prices have gone up significantly in the last few years. Sure sure there's inflation and all that jazz, but it was only a couple of years ago that I could go in and eat with a date for less than $20 including pie and nice tip. Now, you're looking at spending closer to $30 or $40, and for that, I will go somewhere else.

I stopped in to get an worker evaluation as I have a student that works here part time. Extremely nice people work here during the morning shift.

They did bring back the Boca burger and will fix anything with it. The new combo salads are tasty, but not cheap. The salmon on spinach had potatoes and roasted veggies, it was a full meal and the cook needs to understand the concept that if you order the dressing on the side, it means you want to put it on yourself, so it is not drowned and soupy, not that I am such a big fan of the dressing I want to swim in it.
