Had a terrible experience. Waited an hour for 2 sandwiches, and when we got them the order was wrong. That I can live with - mistakes happen. But what bothered me the most was the unhelpful rude worker who answered the phone when I called. Pretty much said" nothing I can do about the wait" and "we'll have to get it right next time"... Won't be ordering from this location anytime soon!

Their subs are always decent (when the order gets completed correctly) but their delivery service is not fast and they always mess up the order no matter how simple.

Not all Jimmy Johns are the same. Last night I had a taste for a sandwich and decided to stop into the Randall Rd location in Algonquin. Not only was the sandwich done by the time I filled my drink, it was the freshest and flavorful sandwich I've had in a long time. It was an Italian night club. No extras, just exactly how they would make it. I forgot to tell them to add peppers, but the sandwich really didn't need them. I needed to give the staff at this location props for the good experience. Hopefully their boss sees this and gives them a raise.

excellent customer service! it was my fault for expecting a messy crazy sandwich, i ordered the #12 beach club upon delivery it took me a little bit to get around to opening my sandwich, but when i did, i did not see any avocado spread - my favorite part. so, disappointed i called and mentioned it to the girl who answered the phone, she asked me to look inside the cheese.... THERE IT IS!!!!! she was willing to send out another and exchange it even!! this place was reasonable times considering its rush hour and it only took 18 minutes! and my sandwich was so nice and neatly prepared!! i really appreciate customer service like this!

Sandwich was your typically Jimmy John's sand which. No complaints there. The only reason I'm giving three stars is because it took 35minutes to get a sandwich delivered. Now I understand they get busy- that's completely acceptable. However it would have been nice to at least know how long it was going to be considering the situation. Other than that - no issues.

Hope Jimmy John's corporate is reading this. First time at this JJ location -- and last time. For reference, went July 4, 2014 at about 2pm. Place was empty, and they had at least four or five people working there. Order taker, not friendly. They screwed up my sandwich (no tomato) despite being told it was an allergy and seemed peeved that I had the nerve to ask them to remake it (hold the loogie, I beg of you). Every booth in the place had food all over it (lettuce shards, crumbs, an empty pop cup), and they once again seemed peeved when I asked for a rag so I could wipe down one of the booths (your job, kids, not mine). They remade my sandwich and totally skimped on the filling, certainly as an F-U of sorts. When I went up to buy one last item after I'd finished my sandwich, the girl cashier type person says to me, "Yeah?" How... cordial! This is the scuzziest JJ's I've been to. I assume the kids working there were mad they had to work on the 4th, but hey, you don't want to be friendly, quit. I don't want to pay for your attitude. If you're too lazy to hear and/or comply with "no tomato", you don't deserve to be working anyway, so be thankful you even found someone to employ you.

Freaky fast? Not really. We are talking 30+ minutes the last 3-4 times we've ordered from them. We are less than 7 minutes from the location. Frustrating. It's their tagline, yes? Order correct? Not in the last 3 tries. Minor stuff, mostly. Pickle is cut when asked for it to remain whole. Wrong chips, no extra cheese after it's been paid for. Blah, blah, blah. The redeeming quality seems to be that the ingredients, even if they aren't ordered (guac on my Italian sub? Ummm, no), do taste and look fresh. Bread is tasty, etc. In the big scheme of things, their are bigger things to bitch about, but it's still frustrating.

We order our food to be delivered. 45 minutes later my girlfriend calls to ask where it was and they say it's on its way. 30 minutes later she calls again and they say that we are out of delivery district and that they can't deliver (makes sense since they said our food was already on it way). And says that they called and left a voice mail. Never got any such thing. When we asked to talk to the manager she said "oh well" and hung up. Oh well, not eating at that location anymore.

I was happy that they delivery had a great system for delivering to customers that are working on Randall. The sandwich was great, and definitely made very well.

Twice I've gotten delivery and twice it's taken over 45 minutes to get here. I can see it from my house, I could walk sure, if I wanted to take a sleeping baby out if house. Called and I all I got was a "sorry don't know why it's taking so long" .

This Jimmy Johns likes to nickel and dime you, charging extra for hot peppers on a sandwich when Jimmy Johns corporate suggests they be free. Hope you enjoy my 25 cents!

Whether I go into the store or delivery, fast, friendly, service, good sandwich, reasonable prices, hard to believe it is a chain.

My first experience with this Jimmy John's location was several years ago when they first opened. We had really bad service and did not go back to ANY Jimmy John's locations until earlier this year when we tried the Jimmy John's across town on Algonquin Road (near Snap Fitness). We LOVE that location! Anyway, I stopped in to the Randall Road location last week to pick up subs for my family on my way home from Christmas shopping. That was a bad idea! The girl (I say girl because she was definitely in high school) who rang up my order took my money, gave me change AND WENT STRAIGHT OVER to handle several loaves of bread that were set out to rise. She had longish fingernails AND NO GLOVES ON and proceeded to handle the bread. My husband used to be a restaurant manager so I am aware of food sanitation requirements. I couldn't stop myself--I said out loud, "You do realize that it's really unsanitary to handle money and then go straight over and handle food without putting on gloves or washing your hands, right?" She just kind of looked at me blankly. So then the manager came over and said, OH! You're right! and proceeds to dramatically take the loaves of bread she was handling and throw them across the room and into the trash can, yelling at the girl, "See what you did? Thanks a lot!" And he tells me snarkily, "I just want you to know, I threw them away." And I told him, "I just want YOU to know--this is my second time having a bad experience at this location and there won't be a third." Yikes.

freakishly fast delivery, NOT, I live less than 3 miles from their location down two main roads. (Literally, three turns) I have walked to this location from my house, yet they won't deliver? Even spoke to a manager, for a multiple sandwich order. Heard him say "is it out of the delivery area?" Guy on the phone, "only just, look at this.." Manager to me "no we won't deliver to you" No half-heart apology, talk over the top of me offering extra $$ and etra time? Seriously? I know you only work at a hourly rate job but wow you SUCK with customer service skills. We used to go there several times a month. I will not return.

Is it bad when I'm actually surprised to find that my order has been prepared as I ordered it? I've been to this JJ location a handful of times. If I'm in this neck of the woods, I go to Jimmy John's because they are way friendlier and faster than the folks at the nearby Subway or Quiznos. The last time I was in there, the girl behind the counter was so pleasant I was a little shocked. And then, before I even had time to stuff my change back into my purse, the equally pleasant boy down the counter was holding my neatly-wrapped sandwich out for me. And when I unwrapped it to make sure it was as I ordered it, it was not only as I ordered it, but a little heftier than the usual sub I receive. If they keep this up, I might have to give them a 5.
