This may be the closest thing to "Cheers" in the area. Great drink special, salads and burgers. I would say food is good and better than average pub grub. Being a hockey family, this place has been a staple for hanging out during practices and watching home games. They don't have waitstaff, just bartenders, so if you want something you have to get up and order it yourself. Great bartenders who have almost become like family over the years. They have several other locations in the Chicago area too.

It's a good choice for a quick bite after hockey or Zumba. I said good; I didn't say healthy. You can get salads and wraps, but where's the fun in that? This is your typical bar food: burgers, hot dogs, wings, pizza, wraps, fries, etc. I highly recommend the Macaroni Wedges, which are mac n cheese triangles that have been battered and deep fried. Soooooo yum! It's like the State Fair in my mouth. My friend and I have ordered grilled sandwiches. She had the grilled cheese and I had a ham melt. Mine was alright, but they didn't use cheddar on it. I'm not going to say it was wrong, but it's not what I am used to. I would go with the cheddar next time. The fries hit the spot. One time we came here and the cook wasn't there or he had left, so our choices were very limited. But if you aren't hungry you can always grab a cold beer and have front row seats to hockey practice. It has a very neighborhood feel to it.

For a hockey parent, this place is great. The food is really good and the environment is fun and friendly. Only drawback is the rink itself. Someone needs to care a little bit about the cleanliness and upkeep of the building, parking lot, landscaping, etc.

I'm giving this awful place 4 stars so they can't erase my post. The place is awful, help is trashy and rude and the owner made me cry when I offered a complaint off social media. Save yourself the trouble and go to Darien sport plex.

Decent food, great sports atmosphere, and friendly bar tenders. Good view of the ice.

If you are wanting a hip bar this is not the bar for you. It's a decent bar. Most of the bartenders are friendly. Lots of tv's and tables. View of the rink. Food isn't bad if the cook is actually there.
