Great breakfast in a old school country cafe. Not lots of Yelp reviews but this is a popular place for a reason. Five star because it is great at what it should be.

I used to love this place. I grew up here loving the star cafe. Then they decided to start cutting corners, and took quality with it. One thing they used to be famous for was biscuits and gravy. Big huge home made biscuits. Home made sausage gravey. Went in about a year and a half ago, tiny biscuits that come frozen out of a bag, the nastiest pre-made out of a bad gravy I've ever had. The sausage patty I got with it must have been 80% vegetable ans 20% rat it was disgusting. A place I'd been going since I was a kid. Ruined in one meal. I used to brag about the place and take visiting family. After that visit I haven't been back. I rate it 5 barf buckets.

This was the worst food ever. Who would serve BROWN iceberg lettuce and frozen chicken patties ... The whole meal was a waste of my hard earned money. A no brainer...wont be headed back.

This is a real deal country cafe. The haystack (half order is plenty) is great. The chicken fried steak is a great. Anything with their white sausage gravy is five stars. Solid cinnamon rolls. Good eggs and omelettes. Very hearty and delicious.

A good old fashioned 'greasy spoon'. Service was fast and friendly, the waitress seemed to know everyone. Food was fresh and cooked exactly how it should be. Overall a great value for breakfast!
