Wow, the Number Ten: turkey, bacon, Swiss with spinach, tomato, and bleu cheese on toasted focaccia was awesome. I ordered with arugula, which really played off the bleu cheese nicely. The bacon was perfectly crispy, and the focaccia bun was still moist after toasting. Really great sandwich! The service was equally amazing. I've been in before, and they remembered me when I walked in. The sandwich came out quickly and the timing fit within my lunch hour. Five-star experience: Big Bear Deli

Best sandwiches in town! Locally owned and operated, these owners make sure everything is the freshest it can be. The variety is incredible. My meal of choice is foccacia bread, turkey, swiss, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers and a house made garlic mayo that is the bomb, a bag of chips (included in sandwich purchase), a cold soda and a homebaked oreo brownie - my mouth is watering already! Also, trust in their specials!! I had a yummy panini with kiwi on it and it was amazing! It is more than just a sandwich shop, it has soups, quiche, and baked goods that are all made right there on the property. This place is very popular around lunch time worth any wait if there is one at all. Order to go, sit and stay, or sit outside if it is nice! I recommend this place over any ol' subway or quiznos. You must try it!!

Great food. Excellent, friendly service. Live it! We saw it on Yelp and checked it out. The outdoor seating is a good touch. The daily specials are goooooood!

What a friendly deli. A a steady stream of customers for great sandwiches. Definitely do for a picnic lunch. They have a Friday special we missed out on. Will get there earlier. Sweet treats also.

Cute little place in a cabin-like building. Very relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. I had a Reuben, which was pretty good but I loved a Reuben with well toasted/fry grilled Bread that isn't so thick that it's difficult to bot through. Which is what the bread was here- too thick and not toasted as well as a Reuben should be. Good internal ingredients though for sure.

I had a taco salad and a Arnold Palmer, the taco salad was pretty much just seasoned ground beef on ice berg lettuce and tortilla chips. The Arnold Palmer was extremely sweet. All in all this place is just okay.

Best sandwiches in Post Falls. Make sure to try one with bacon, they taste great! If you like sweets they have a good selection of pastry and such. It's great to get a pickle with you meal as well.

I love this place! I have been here for lunch 6 times in the last year even though I live an hour away and I always have outstanding service and food. I always see the same two or three employees here and they are some of the kindest people I have ever encountered. Every time I eat here they have an amazing home made soup or two and the sandwiches are top notch deliciousness! My Mom has been avoiding bread lately but really likes the sandwiches here, so they offered to make her sandwiches on fresh iceberg lettuce instead of a bun and she loves it. We even tried the pulled pork on lettuce instead of the bun and it was awesome!! Thanks guys!!!! We will be back.

Best sandwiches in the Northwest. Great service! Can't beat this small town sandwich shop and everyone is always on the ball and friendly!!

Big bear is a bit of a local secret. It has a poor location hidden in some houses off of a side street, but man is it delicious. They are always busy but never slow about it. Mouth watering sandwiches and a fun log cabin feeling dining room.

Great basic sandwich but a few $ higher than I would expect. I'm planning on returning to try a hot sandwich and see if it improves the experience. I do like the atmosphere, staff and quality approach to their product.

This place has some of the best food in the area!! Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere!

If you're looking for a great sandwich this is the place to go. The apple kraut on the pork feast is a family recipe and it's amazing. The house made honey mustard has a great flavor as well. The staff is courteous and the owner shook my hand and thanked me for coming in. Other good sandwiches I'd recommend are the Big Bear and the #10. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, and a cozy atmosphere. My daughter and I also enjoyed the cupcakes after lunch.

First time here. People working here seem nice and keep things clean.... 2 important attributes IMO. Food is decent but is mostly cold cuts. For what they are charging for sandwiches they need to step up their game with choices (ie. grilled chicken instead of cold cut chicken.)They need a grill. They aren't open for breakfast. While their condiment choices where good, their portion size was a little weak. A greek salad needs more than a few crumbs of feta and a 1 or 2 olives...Actually don't remember if it even had olives. Their hours crack me up....10 am to 3 pm? They would not last in NYC (where I live) operating this way, just too much competition for your buck.. But then again this isn't NYC.

Best beef barley soup I've had in decades and the sandwich was the bomb! Awesome place to eat and delivered in less that 10 minutes...........

today was my first time in. i am now wondering wth took me so long! if every sandwich is as good as the #10 (turkey, bacon with swiss and bleu cheese) i would eat here everyday. super friendly staff and fast service! a huge sandwich with chips was less than $9. we need one in cda!!!

The #10 Buffalo style is the best! Everything is always fresh, imaginative and made with love. Thank you for being here in Post Falls!

I ordered a #7 with no tomato it comes with chips but I substituted past salad to go. When I got to my office in Spokane 30 minutes away there was tomatoes on it and no pasta salad. So I paid over $8 for a sandwich I won't eat. I have eaten here before and it's pretty spendy for the area & the product. The only thing special they do is have special aoli with herbs but other than that it's just like a plan old sandwich. I do have to say the pasta salad is pretty good but, I never got the pasta salad I paid for. When I called to let them know the girl on the phone wasn't very pleasant and said everyone makes mistakes and I can't drive another sandwich to you in Spokane. That was odd since I never mentioned driving me a sandwhich to Spokane. I will never go back to a business that makes their customers feel guilty for the mistakes they make. I do have to say they did give me my money back on my credit card but they were very unprofessional in the way it was handled. Sorry to say I won't be recommending this place or going back. Great!! Good bread, awesome bacon, great choices and lovely friendly service! We got there 15 minutes before they opened on a Saturday, so we figured we'd just wait in the car for a bit but they came out and waved us in. In a neat quiet part of town, great outdoor seating for a sunny day! SO GOOD!!!

Excellent deli with great sandwiches! In my humble opinion it is the best in Post Falls. #5 is a great menu choice. Nice seating area. Great spot to stop and have lunch!

Another great find! Solid traditional deli sando's, great salads and of Cathy's cupcakes.

Wouldn't recommend. There is no grill. My Hamburger was pre-cooked and heated up. My son's pulled pork sandwich was very light on the amount of pork. My wife's soup was salty and nothing special. Burger and pulled pork sandwiches were between 7 and 8 dollars each which included small bag of chips. Seemed rather expensive given the overhead of a somewhat spartan facility. Staff was nice.

Tasty sandwiches on tasty bread. Lots of meat. Cute little A Frame Restaurant.

I LOVE this place. They have amazing sandwiches. A little spendy, but it's totally worth it.

This place is awesome... fresh meat....fresh bread....and really good sauce on the sandwiches. My favorite place to get sandwiches.

The best sandwich shop in Post Falls and CDA! You pay a bit extra but it's wayyyy worth it. The manager and wait staff are nice and friendly. Sandwiches are bigger than most shops and loaded with flavor. Gotta try it.

Darn Good!! We had the Big Bear Burger which was fabulous, and a #10 turkey, bacon and blue cheese sandwich which was also very tasty. The bacon was thick and crispy and the blue cheese dressing on both were worth stopping in for. Service was friendly and fast. A great lunch break...we're on our way back to Portland...we'll be back on the next trip through.
