Best sushi in town and super inexpensive. Best nigiri I have had anywhere, including places in Utah and Vegas. We come here often and are always satisfied.

Nothing I've ordered has tasted stale or fishy, and the rice is well seasoned. Maybe they've been taking suggestions and improving accordingly; all I know is that the prices are awesome, and the food is decent.

This place was awesome!!!!! Some of the best sushi I have ever had. I was so happy when i found out that we were going to be getting an all you can eat sushi place in pocky but was skeptical on wether it would be good or not. Let me tell you they do not disappoint. All of their rolls are excellent and the price is amazing for a poor person like me. Not a roll over $10. Honestly best I have had yet in my few years of eating sushi. Would try to convince anyone to go. And when my and my friends go we take the all you can eat very seriously

The food here was decent. It was filling, but definitely on the bland side. The servers were all very kind and helpful, but it also took a very long time to get our food. We were a table of ten, but we were also one of only two tables in there at the time.

Great sushi, great prices. We especially loved the godzilla roll and the soft shell crab roll. I've had sushi in Seattle, San Francisco, and Maui, and this is totally on par

never going back to this stupid place I felt like they raped me when I got my bill ordered all you can eat and t price was 8.50 but the bill was 19$ cause she said it would of been $20 for that I was super pissed and I think its a waste of my money if they advertise all you can eat for a price but charge something else dumb.

Never going back. The sushi was awful at any price. The fish was actually fishy (never had that happen with sushi before) and the freshwater eel was cut in a way that left nasty globs of fat in your mouth. Everything was off; both in texture and flavor. The yellowtail, spicy tuna, freshwater eel all tasted odd. Even one roll that came fried tasted like it was cooked in old and/or burnt oil. We even ordered some items that never came. Maybe that was a blessing I guess. I would hate sushi too if it tasted like this. For the two days following I had a terrible headache and felt really strange. I get about two headaches usually a year and they're usually the result of hiking and not drinking enough water. What the hell were we served? The fukushima roll? (making a joke about radiation, not the plight of the japanese after the tsunami) By far the most disgusting meal I've ever had in my life, paid for or not. I'd rather have a bowl of raisin bran for dinner. Seriously. Feeling ill makes any dinner regardless of the price (aveage here) and quality (worst meal of my life so far) not worth it. Edit/Update: And no, the prices are not awesome. Our party of four had the same priced check (one didn't even get sushi) as any other sushi place that would be 10x the quality. One of the people from our party did come here later on with some friends and said that the place has improved very slightly. I know him pretty well and I think he was being honest, but also EXTREMELY polite. For pocatello Sushi: For now, fred meyer's sushi thing is better than anything else in Pocatello -- including sumisu with their off rice and mostly funky tasting rolls. I'm going to save going to sushi for Idaho Falls now.

They have a variety of tools in the menu. The other sushi place in town, 85% of their menu is tempura shrimp. This place is lacking atmosphere, but I do enjoy their rolls. Never had a problem.
(4)Cassie V.
The sushi isn't TERRIBLE, but definitely not as good as Sumiso that is in the same town. The tempura battering is WAY too thick. I like a nice, thin layer that gives a crunch. It is at least a half inch thick which makes it soggy on the inside. Don't get any rolls with tempura! Really - just don't come here, it's not worth your money.

Absolutely horrible. Sushi seemed to all be frozen or made from stuff that had been frozen for a long time. It smelled fishy and truly there was just nothing good about this place. Never again.

I was told I could not eat half the rice on the sushi because I would be wasting it..? the rice was poor quality and the fish wasn't fresh, don't waste your time or money

I had dinner here with my whole family. There was something for everyone on the menu. We all picked a roll each to share. They were all so good that we went for a second round. There is so much on the menu that it can be a bit overwhelming to pick just a few, but it makes planning to go back fun. The place is neat and clean, but doesn't have much atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The wait staff had no problem explaining what was in a roll, or what a particular ingredient was.

This place has GREAT potential. Amazing sushi, never boring with all their options...One thing that would make this a 5 star would be to hire more staff to get the rolls out faster. Think they could really make more money and get more customers. I don't have time to wait 2 to 3 hours to eat . But I still come at least 2 or 3 times a month

It's between lunch and dinner and very few people here. But it took the waitress a long time before she even came back to take our order- not to mention how unprofessional she was in her tight short shorts that you couldn't even tell she was wearing under her apron and when she told me I ordered my child's food wrong when 3 times my child said noodles and chicken and the food she brought didn't have noodles at all. The food is good. Only reason I eat there. Service is seriously lacking.

Last review. I will never go back. Bland bland bland. Falvorless. I guess you get what you pay for and I would rather be raped on price and have a good experience than eat here again. Rice has no flavor. The imitation crab in my roll tasted like it had been sitting in water for days and and i could actually squeeze my pieces and have water drip out. YUCK. This is not true Japanese food. NO WAY. For thoughs of you that just want to seem cool for eating bland sushi go for it. Price doesn't make it taste any better. I have learned here in Idaho though that people like everything bland.....

Food wasn't bad for the price I'm from San Diego Cali so I've had sushi on all spectrums

3 of us showed up on a Tuesday night. It was probably 2 minutes before I saw an employee other than the sushi chef. No worries, I foolishly thought we should get seated in a minute. There were a half dozen or less groups of 2 or 3 already seated and the waiter must have gone back and forth at least 20 times picking up orders and bussing tables. We were not acknowledged even once. No hey it will be just a minute. No pause in the 20+ trips back and forth to seat us and give us the 60 second spiel on the all you can eat sushi. After waiting for 10+ minutes we turned around and left. Waiting that long just to get seated doesn't bode well for service once you are seated. In my 40 ish years of going to restaurants I think I have had maybe one other time where no one acknowledged our group and we turned around and left. Needless to say I will not be back here. I would strongly suggest this place improve their basic customer service. The "ignore them until they go away" isn't a great strategy for customer retention.

Terrible Service!!! We went with a group of friends 6 total, we were all paying separately and the pregnant waitress still charged us for a 13% tip on each of our bills! Not only did we wait ONE HOUR for our second set of rolls, our waitress passed us many time and refused to take our dirty plates! The only reason we are giving two star is because the sushi was good. I will never be going back!!!!
