Amazing! I had a half order of the florentine benedict, my husband had the chicken fried steak. Both were incredibly delicious. The place was clean, service was polite and the decor made me feel right at home. We'll definitely be coming back!

Excellent food for an excellent value. The chicken fried steak was excellent. It was a breading rather than deep fried and had a lot of flavor. The gravy was good. My wife said the omelette was excellent and the kids loved their rainbow and chocolate chip pancakes. The four of us ate for right at $30 with drinks. We will definitely be going back.

In town from Olympia, WA, stopped by for an early breakfast. We were greeted with good coffee followed up by great Corned Beef Hash and Pig Out Scramble breakfasts. Great homestyle biscuits, jam, and cinnamon roll. Would definitely recommend and will stop by when we're back in the area!

Friendly staff - very accommodating for a growing party who sat next to us and kept adding people. Eggs & sausage cooked perfectly. Lemon poppyseed pancakes with lemon syrup were ridiculously good. Efficient service for the crowds. Overall great breakfast place.

I know this place is an egg place but there pancakes are delicious. I had the pumpkin pancakes. I thought this place was amazing but others in my party who got an egg omelette and the biscuits and gravy though it was pretty standard diner food. On the other hand the service was amazing and where very flexible to make my order the way I could eat it. They answered any questions I had and made the meal five stars but others in my party big the score down.

We eat breakfast out a lot. We were passing through on our way home from vegas. My husband put it in the top 10 all time breakfast joints We had seven of us and everyone was happy with food and service. Lauren was our server and he did a great job. They even have stevia for your coffee nice touch. Many options!! And love the old cafe feel I like sausage so it was nice to have a sausage lovers platter. Hubby had bone in ham and cinnamon roll. Son had granola with pecans and bananas. Others had pancakes and French toast. There was even crepes on the menu. Choices of jams for breads that came out in there own serving dish(possibly homemade ). Old time cafe kicked up a notch.

Welcoming servers, great menu, delicious food at excellent prices. My friends and I went here on a whim while driving through town and can't stop talking about how delicious our food was! I hope to be able to eat here again someday!

Had breakfast here this morning with wife and another couple. Outside it looks small and popular. Inside is small but they turn the tables quickly. Nice service and good food. Good value for your meal - four adults total meal $51.00 with $12.00 tip. I had the enchilada omelette, good flavor and just a tad bit of heat, very nice, Shared a cinnamon bun with my wife, home made, tasty, and perfect size for two - sadly she stole the inner center of soft melty heaven. Recommend the place if you are looking for a local breakfast spot; way better than the boring chains

Impressive! The waitress was personable and friendly. The food was large portions and inexpensive. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy was served piping hot. The omelet was exceptional. Eggs were light and fluffy and the fillings were cooked tender yet still firm. Definitely returning.

Great place for an all American breakfast. The food is good. It's a simple small mom and pop place. Nothing fancy but the prices is great.

1st time here.... It was packed!!! (Always a good sign!!)- waitresses were super busy but still friendly!!! Food was great & well priced! There was enough left over for brkfst tomorrow!! I ordered my food to go & was sooo tasty!!!

Came in here for the first time. So excited to try this place. Like the big rooster they got in front. Took a couple of minutes to get our coffee. Waited then to get a spoon. We like their coffee cups, very heavy!! We ordered the rio grande and country scrambler and everything was very good. Overall food was very tasty, customer service lacks but I'll def be back for the food!

Wow I was surprised how good their food is. On the first visit my dining companion and I both ordered the chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, factory potatoes, biscuits and gravy. My dining companion asked for loaded potatoes and then smothered with gravy. At first it sounded a little weird cheese, bacon, sour cream and then gravy on top,but they were da bomb diggity. The chicken fried steak was tender and delicious. On my next visit I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon. It was Ok,but while eating it I was cheating on it in my mind with the chicken fried steak. I fully recommend the Egg Factory for breakfast

Love it here !! Everything about it, food Is amazing , my favorite breakfast spot ! Always five stars

Service was amazing. The portions were big. The food tasted great. It is a small place and was PACKED. Overflowing! Cinnamon rolls are huge. The biscuits are the size of your hand and at least 2 inches thick. Drinks are big. The staff was very friendly. Everyone was smiling. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. Tables are close together since it is such a small place but we will go back if we are in the area. The food is well worth the price.

The food here is fantastic!! The service was fantastic we came in with a group of 12 people they quickly pushed table together and we all ate like kings. Easily my favorite is the corn beef hash which is homemade

I've only ever had their breakfast, and I've liked what I've ordered. Biscuits and gravy are good and my kids love the pancakes. Not a huge serving size for the price, but good comfort breakfast food.

In town visiting my mom. Pulled up Yelp and this place popped up. My mom and I got the biscuits and gravy, and a Belgian waffle. It was all delicious. Nothing was over-salted or dry. The environment wasn't hectic at all and the service was great! If you're in the area I highly recommend this place.
(5)
Chika C.
Decent place to have breakfast, not a lot of food but they have a good selection for breakfast. I had corn beef hash, I'm sure it's not homemade but it's good they make it crispy. They no longer carry fresh orange juice but they have regular sunny d kind of juice. It's a local place and have good waitress. I would definite come back

Joe Q. Y.
I would give it a 4.5, but it's not an option. So, I rounded up. The portions here are huge. Come hungry. Got the French toast crunch and made it a combo (eggs and sausage or bacon - extra $2.29). It was awesome. The Cinnamon rolls are great and are about the size of a personal pizza. Finally, got the lemon poppy seed pancakes with lemon syrup. If you like lemon, you can't go wrong. The cakes do fall apart easily because of the poppy seeds. My only knock on this place is the service is only good. It's not from a lack of effort. There are only two sweet ladies working both the tables, the register, and the seating. However, their warm personalities make up for any extra wait. If you are ever in the area, stop by and get some great breakfast grub.
(5)
Peter R.
I had the farmboy biscuit breakfast with a ham steak on the side. It was absolutely freakin phenomenal. The biscuits and gravy were almost as good as my moms with a sausage patty and eggs over easy on top with potatoes on the side. I ate like a king. I'm definitely coming back again and bringing my parents, it would be wrong to try to keep this place a secret.

Great breakfast, fair price, and friendly staff. I've ordered something different each visit and have not been disappointed yet! My favorite so far has been their classic biscuits & gravy

We found this through yelp and it was awesome! I had the breakfast burrito and loaded potatoes and they were both great. Hubby had bacon and eggs with crispy hash browns and a large ok. He loved his. We also order 1/2 a cinnamon roll because reviews were so good. It was awesome - soft, flavorful delicious- just how you'd want a cinnamon roll to be. Service was excellent - we arrived before 7am on a Sunday morning so we had no trouble with waiting. We would absolutely come here again. Another yelp winner !

My family and I came to this place while traveling through town when we saw the good reviews. We left a little disappointed. We came around lunch time, so some of us ordered breakfast, and some ordered lunch. The breakfast dishes were delicious, but the lunch dishes left a lot to be desired. Service was a little strange, to say the least. We had a party of five adults, and the hostess told us she didn't have a table large enough inside to seat us all, so she led us through the dining room (past a sizable empty table that would have held us all comfortably) out to the patio to a smaller table. Now, keep in mind, this was at noon in the middle of August. By the time we received our food, about twenty or thirty minutes later, we were all excessively hot, if not mildly sunburned. We also had THREE different servers taking care of us, one to bring menus and water, another to take drink orders (and bring us even MORE water, so at this point we had ten drinks on this already very cramped table), and a third server to take our orders and bring us our meals. As a result, the service felt very impersonal and chaotic, as well as being a little slow. All in all, not a bad place for a meal- just make sure it's breakfast, and that you're not seated on the patio.

Great place for breakfast. Been here a few times and eggs are always perfect, pancakes and waffles are awesome and the bacon is cooked perfect (for me)... thin, crisp but with some jerky like tenderness. Some of the tables are placed awkwardly, but I don't care. Fast and personable service.

For Nampa, this is truly as good as it gets for a quick diner-style breakfast. The outside of the building is deceptively small - there's more room inside but the joint's popularity still makes it necessary to wait outside on busy weekend mornings. Usually the wait isn't too long but we've waited for as long as 25-35 minutes to sit down. The egg crepes are unique and savory - try the Red Rooster, stuffed with homemade crumbled chorizo, green chilies, tomatoes and cheddar cheese and drizzled with chipotle sauce and sour cream. I've never encountered a crappy waitress here. The waitstaff is excellent and attentive.

California Eggs Benedict is AWESOME here, and the staff is incredibly friendly! Great service, & great place for a nice homemade breakfast!

Wife and I decided to have a brunch this morning. We arrived and the parking lot was packed - which is always a good sign. We were surprised it only took about 15 minutes to get seated. The staff were very nice. Our waiter was attentive and even brought a sample of their gravy for my wife (she's a bit of a snob when it comes to biscuits and gravy!) Wife had the biscuits and gravy breakfast with two eggs and their potatoes. According to her (and what I sampled) it was quite good! But what sold me, and made me give five stars was the Philly Benedict. Really?! What kind of weird combination is this? Well, it turns out it's a combination from heaven! Grilled Philly Steak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms topped with a couple poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, all sitting atop a toasted croissant. I chose the hasbrowns which were cooked perfectly - nice and hot with a crispy layer. We will definitely be back to this place. I was surprised we got out of there for under $25 bucks, and that included two drinks, a side of sausage patties, and a giant cinnamon roll that we had to-go. Would not hesitate to take family and friends to this place!

Crispy French Toast was perfect balance of sweet in this tasty dish. Side of bacon was perfect accompaniment. Ambiance was cute with themed decor. Service was very good too. Will definitely return. Very large menu will satisfy everyone's tastes.

Food is pretty awesome, cleanliness pretty terrible!! Had a piece of hair in food and silverware had old food on it. The staff is decent but when confronted with hair situation they were awkward and not very friendly. Would not recommend going here.

I'm pretty sure this place stakes my claim to the Best Pancake In The USofA! This place actually makes me want to come visit my family out in BFE Idaho...(no offense Idaho). I got a tall stack of pancakes and broke them down like this. 2 lemon poppy seed, 2 carrot cake, and 1 oatmeal cookie pancake. Next time I go, I'm getting it all over again and then shoving down as many home fries that will fit in my stomach. Definitely try this place if you haven't ever been there. You shouldn't be disappointed.

The egg factory is a good little unpretentious breakfast eatery that usually has some sort of fun and delicious fruity pancake special going on. The menu is massive and is a tour de force of breakfast foods.Everything is good, the portions are good sized, and there's definitely something for everyone on the menu. The only problem with this restaurant is the waiting area for the restaurant is tiny, so you are always falling over people to get in. The seating capacity is also really lacking for a restaurant with this much volume, so sometimes a four top becomes a six top and plates are falling on the floor. They really need a better waiting room and a hostess who knows where to sit people. Bottom line is if it's a Sunday and after church you might be better off going somewhere else.

Amazing place! I visited this restaurant for the weekend brunch. It looked more like family-owned restaurant. They have very delicious brunch options. I tried their Whole Farm Omelette and I highly recommend it.

Would be a FIVE but it's a bit noisey for my taste. Better acoustics would help. The pecan waffles are to die for.

In our group, we had pancakes, french toast, omelettes, benedict, and all kinds of goodness. Not one person complained about the meal. I think it is safe to say that we loved our meal and you could pretty much order anything on the menu and enjoy it!
(5)
Sharece B.
Marathoning it food! Tasty yet much. Seriously, if you're a breakfast person, this is probably the pest place to go in Nampa, but be prepared for a large amount of food. It's the hot spot in town so you may have to wait a while for a table, but if you like omelettes, eggs benedict, or other breakfast awesomeness, it's well worth the wait. Plus, when you're waiting, you can take pix with the huge rooster outside the door.
(4)
Callum S.
While it may not be the most exciting place to eat, the food is awesome. Next time I'm back in Nampa, I have to go. I love eating breakfast out and this place is where you gotta go.

How can you go wrong with a breakfast eatery where a giant chicken greets you?? :) My dog loves to bark at it even if we only do a drive by. :) Fabulous good 'ole greasy spoon, down home cookin', stick to your ribs farm style breakfast joint. Portion sizes are generous and not so good for your arteries, but OH SO delicious. My husband LOVES to eat here... nothing fancy, just good 'ole people and lots of meat and potatoes. Always crowded, tight seating and a bit noisy but that is just part of its working man diner charm. Your coffee or iced tea will NEVER go dry. Service is sassy and sharp with great banter. The menu is VAST and surprisingly there are some great offerings geared towards more veggie lovers (myself included), like the florentine benedict, tomato, spinach, avacado, mushrooms... yum. Also noteworthy is the country garden stuffed omlette. But for me the FRENCH TOAST CRUNCH takes the cake for most delicious eats!

Fantastic breakfast place! The have a huge 8 oz ham steak! My wife says the Eggs Benadect are fantastic. They actually have 4 types to choose from. Their 4 egg omletts are great. It can get busy on the weekends.

Great breakfast, great atmosphere, food was hot and tasty. Just short of a full 5 stars only because the country gravy is average, but the rest is awesome, plus you gotta love the big chicken in front of the joint, it's a great photo op.

Back in the bubbling tech days of 1998, I moved out to Nampa Idaho to work for a local PC making company. From my humble rented house on Delaware St, I made concentric circles, looking for some semblance of the home town breakfast cooking I grew to treasure from the dive bars that doubled as eateries in my adopted hometown of Portland, ala the Pirate Cove. Say You Say Me was a beautiful surrogate. Huge plates of homemade biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon on the side. I think their standard omelets came with something like 6 eggs. This was rustic breakfasting, with people smoking at their tables and young waiters with clearly visible parole-tracking ankle bracelets running back and forth. Everyone was nice and the place was always crowded, but a table wasn't much of a wait. The food was always fantastic and a great value. Thinking of Say You Say Me makes me smile every time I think of my Idaho days.

Tennille W.
The poppyseed pancakes were delicious. I savored every drop of the lemon syrup. The building and location have much to be desired though. Very busy/small. You don't want to stay long or go there for special occasions where you'd like to enjoy one another's company.

Who doesn't like pancakes?!? Servers toe a fine line between sassy and witchy, but it's all good. God forbid if you don't eat everything on your plate.

We had breakfast here on a weekend. It was pretty full and noisy, no booths for any privacy, our waitress was very nice, but there was a horrible one that we got to watch snip at the help and be crabby at customers. It is similar to Sunrise, but not quite as good of food and the prices are a bit higher.

Small and sometimes crowded, this breakfast only place (now called The Egg Factory) can be worth the wait. Great chicken-fried steak (real steak) with very good gravy, The stars are the eggs though. From omelettes to scrambles, its all good! I love San Francisco's ubiquitous Joe's Special. Their take, the Farmer Joe's is done with Cheddar vs. Parmesan cheeses and is the best I have had. The Chorizo and Egg scramble is also great but I could use less Chipotle sauce. Great bread choices. Half a homemade cinnamon roll, half bisquit and gravy, pancakes, or bread.

Yummy meals! My kids love it here too. I felt like the room was a little "cozy" for my taste but other than that, service was great and the food was tasty!!

The service was great. The food was amazing. Everything was great, and the prices you can't beat them. My family and I will be back for sure.

Super delicious food! Our server was great too. There can be a little bit of a wait for a table but the food is so worth it! Can't wait to go back.

This place has great food at a low price. Their omelets are filling and their biscuits and sausage gravy was just right.

great place for breakfast. the service is efficient and friendly.
