Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Awesome pizza and bread sticks are amazing. So glad we found a new pizza place in Nampa!!!

Amazing crust (chewy with slight sweet taste) and my families' FAVORITE pizza spot!! We love their take n bake option, perfect for on the way home! Favorite are of course the jalapeño popper, bacon blue, and their chicken with a garlic sauce I believe and lots of bacon and tomatoes! Great perk is that there are usually coupons for buy one get one from my Entertainment book which makes this even better!!

Excellent pizza! Customer service? I guess it just depends I've had HORRIBLE service and I've had great service. I once came here and saw the young girl working drop breadsticks and still try to serve them!! They burned my breadsticks that day as well and it took them an hour to get me a new order and they wanted to charge me for the ones that they burnt!! This place has great good but the young kids they employee need to be trained better or be taught to be more friendly to customers.

This place is amazing the jalapeño popper is so good to go along with the rest of the pizza Combinations they have daily special are nice the service is fast and they have some of the best breadsticks I have ever eaten
(4)Beth W.
I have been impressed with the pizza. Never tried the drive thru figure if I am eating pizza better walk in and get it. My boyfriend is what you could say would be classified as a pizza snob he enjoys one or.two pizzas from the Pizza Guy. Guess it depends on what you like - his favorite jalapeno popper.
(3)Damien G.
Went here from a friends recommendation. Not impressed. Pie hole is Sooo much better.
(2)Anthony M.
I have to agree with everything David said plus add that the crust is too sweet as well. This place has loads of potential because it seems they have everything but the crust right.
(3)Jon M.
Pizza guy's pizza is pretty darn tasty! I can't tell you that it taste like New York style pizza because i have never had real NY style pizza. The crust is thin and chewy with a slight sweetness which i have come to really enjoy. I can tell you the jalapeño popper pizza is awesome! The bacon blue is really good to and i use to hate blue cheese. Now i enjoy blue cheese in my food. The buffalo chicken is pretty good. There ranch is awesome. I tried there loaded potato pizza,i wasn't impressed. I pretty much only order the popper and bacon blue cheese every time i go. I figure once you taste there best pizzas why waste your time on any other. Although my friend thinks the Hawaiian is really good. Long story short, you should check them out. Help the little guy out,so that we don't lose these small places. There's enough giant pizza corporations out there. These small places are the heart and soul of the Treasure Valley. I know that some people say there prices went up and that's true, but that's because they use really good ingredients and they can't buy in bulk like pizza hut can. So next time you want some pizza, give them a chance. You never know, you may have just discovered your favorite new pizza place!
(4)Kiri Dee B.
Their pizza is excellent, but it's pretty spendy so we only order there every once in a while. The jalapeño popper pizza is crazy good.
(4)Jennifer W.
Their service has improved tremendously, but don't get their garlic bread. It is overpriced and not very good.
(4)Dawn E.
1st time trying after my disappointment with Messenger's crust lately...UMMMM...1 slice of Basil. SWEET, CHEESY, JUICY, and YUM. 4 stars because they could make the slice a tad bigger. The tastiest pizza yet..the flavor, and the crust rocked my world.
(4)Angela W.
We got take-out, the white Italian (is that racist?:-), sausage, basil, red peppers with a white sauce. The ingredients were of great quality. There was a distinct flavor, it was very delicious. We got a side of bread sticks free with a coupon, I would never pay full price four bucks for them. Their dough was really soft, not chewy. I thought it was very refreshing, and the pizza could stand up to even some of the most popular local pizza joints. Will visit again.
(4)Mike N.
One of the better pizza joints in town. If you are tired of the usual Pizza chains then this is your stop. I had the Hawaiian and Pepperoni and olive. It was great. The service was fast and friendly.
(4)John M.
We have been there probably 8-9 times now, all with great success. Their salads are freshly made every day. The dough is thin and so easier to eat, and you don't get filled up on dough. The ingredients are great! Our favorites are jalapeno, bbq, and baked potato. Highly recommended. We always do sit down, and so we have no opinion on the drive-through. I would't be expecting very fast service at a place that has to bake what I want. They have some slices they can warm for you, and those are also great! Would highly recommend this place!

Read my other reviews about pizza places. I live down the street from Pizza Guy and wanted to try it, especially since they claim to have New York Style Pizza. I love Guido's Pizza and if I don't have to drive to Boise for a New York pie, that's good. It's ok. The service was fast, maybe a little too fast. I tried a slice while I was waiting and finished the slice as the pizza came out. Here's my run down... the sauce and cheese tasted right and "pizza juice" dripped as it should have. The toppings (on the take home pie) were standard (half mushroom and half pepperoni) and I was happy to see the pie was cut right and the toppings didn't overlap. The problem I had was the crust. First, it tasted like it didn't get a chance to proof (rise the right amount of time). thought it was just the slice I had, but the pie we had at home was the same. The end piece should taste like Italian bread... a little yeast flavor, and a little crispy crustiness. The crust was bland and a little sweet. The bottom crust on both pizzas was way too thin. It was done and not doughy, but didn't have the touch of crispiness an East Coast pie should have. If the bottom crust was just a touch thicker and the pie left in the oven slightly longer AND have that taste, it would be a good alternative than going back to Jersey. I will go back to Pizza Guy, since it's close by and better than ordering from a chain like Pizza Hut or Domino's. But for a better and more authentic New York Style Pizza, definitely Guido's or The Messenger.
(2)Alex G.
Very surprised at how good the pizza was. Ordered The Feast value meal and was able to choose any 3 slices including the daily special and a drink for 7.50. Not too bad considering its enough to feed two people. I ordered the jalapeño popper, which was awesome, the loaded potato (see pic), and Hawaiian. They were all great, J popper was my favorite. The drive-thru option definitely sets this place apart from other "pizza by the slice" joints and given their fast service is a great option. Try it.
(4)Willa C.
Did I come on a bad day? I read the reviews and was looking forward to fast and tasty pizza and instead I got soggy blahness that I couldn't even finish. The sauce tasted cheap, the veggies were nearly non-existant (aside from two huge chunks of bell pepper that were cold in the middle) and the garlic bread looked WAY better than it tasted. There was just no real flavor there. It was a mashup of juicy pizza with little taste. The garlic bread should have been awesome but instead had the taste of styrofoam with butter. I would give it 1 star for taste - truly, it was that bad.... but the server was friendly and fast... customer service definitely counts for something!
(2)Jenn C.
Drive thru has become ridiculously slow. And prices continue to go up. Great pizza, but reconsidering for a quick lunch.
(4)Sara J.
New to the area and trying out pizza places that are unfamiliar to us. We got carry out, and the service was fast and friendly... Which is good, because something has to make up for this bland pizza. We got a pepperoni and a cheese... Both were so terrible, we couldn't even finish a slice! We qualified for free breadsticks, which basically tasted like dinner rolls. Definitely won't be coming back, which is a shame since it's within walking distance to our neighborhood and the people were nice.
(1)Rachel Z.
Lobby clean, patriotic, with 2 big flat screens pretty good ambiance for a pizza place :) Employees all courteous, attentive, and friendly. We ate in the dining area and food came out pretty fast! They do free refills on soda! OUR FOOD: Garlic bread- just ok. but did come with marinara so that is a bonus. Salad- was sort of simple and they don't give you very much dressing. However everything on the salad was super fresh!!! It had iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, mushrooms and a very small amount of cheese. Ranch dressing was decent. Daily Special Slice-Garlic Chicken Tomato Basil...was pretty good. Basil cheese- was just ok. Hawaiian- was good. The Jalapeno popper- was GREAT! that is what will bring me back! We also wanted to try the drive through and it took 2 minutes exact from ordering to paying to receiving the pizza I ordered. I think that is pretty awesome. Convenient, Clean, Friendly Service, Pretty Good Food. We like the idea of pizza through a drive through. Good experience. Nothing was bad.
(4)Heather S.
