We go here all the time, my grandparents love this place. Whenever they call to go to lunch or dinner, there's no question as to where we're going. The people are always nice, drinks are always refilled, tables cleared with no plates stacking up in front of you. Food is always cooked and tasteful. Wonderful service, nice food. 4 stars because it's a little pricey, but that doesn't stop us!

It's Golden Corral. They do a pretty good job here especially compared to others I've been too. Breakfast is the best!

When ever my family travels we look for the Golden Corals. I must say this one is every good and above average of any of the other ones we have experienced. Just wanted to say we were very happy with our experience. It was very crowded for a Friday , so it goes to show it is very successful.

This was my first time experiencing this chain and I was in awe. They seem very clean, organized with tables and tables of food practically of every kind! I appreciate their sliced meats, sides and well everything! But the piece de resistance is the dessert bar! I am sucker and that's why dessert will probably be the death of me. Well one needs to die happy, right?

We enjoy this place. We ate here FOUR times during our nine day stay in Idaho. Superb selection on the salad bar, and plenty of meat offerings for the carnivores in my group. (We are used to places like Hometown Buffet where the food is mediocre at best -with some food being horrible). My group of 7 only mentioned one thing that was inedible and that was the Onion rings, everything else was tasty!!! Super Dessert selections too!!! I wish they had more of these in California, and most especially one near me. We are now fans!!!!!! ------------ ADD came back in 2014 and its not as good as it was. Now its just average

Never again - upon the surface, buffet lots of different choice sounds good? haha - NO! The restaurant is always dirty, the food rarely gets changed out and the toilets leave a lot to be desired. Never again.

Golden Corral goes a ways back in our dining out lives - Back to the days it was a pretend steakhouse. Those days are long gone. You can still find a steak or two, but the buffet choices are so varied that you might miss it. Golden Corral is a buffet these days, a well run and clean buffet with decent to excellent food.. This Nampa location makes it convenient for a drop-in and is the place to go for a large family or small group with diverse appetites. Like most buffets today, it is one price for all you can eat. Drinks are extra, but refills free. The buffets, several, are divided into logical groupings. In the center is the "meat and potatoes" section that also houses several different soups. It is here in the dinner hour that a carving station is set up with meats that vary from day to day. Their current highly advertised entree is their grilled sirloin steak. It is worth the wait if they temporarily run out. To the right is another buffet section which features Tex-mex foods. Tacos can be hand built and nachos have all the toppings you might want. Further to the right is the large salad station. If you like salad this is the place you will likely start. To the left of the meat and potatoes station is the bread and dessert buffet. You will want to save a little room so you can finish up here. When I am grazing I usually start with the carving station and move counter-clockwise to the seafood section, bypassing the pasta. The second trip starts with the Tex-mex station and continues , again anti-clockwise, to the oriental foods and thence to the soup. My third jaunt is around the dessert section. After that I leave, bent over from overeating. If you are looking for fine dining, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you like decent food like you could find on your grandparents table, with friendly and efficient wait staff, give Golden Corral a try.

We went there today with my 4 year old daughter. I understand that kids 4 and over have to pay but I'm not kidding when I say my child will only have ONE plate and maybe some ice cream. She is a not a huge eater. I told them this and they still wanted to charge me full price for her. I don't know why they just couldn't understand this and give it to me for the 3 and under free and let it go. I know rules are rules though but when you realize you're about to lose money for it, you do anything you can to fix it. That's just my feeling. The fact they wouldn't even work with us or anything is why I'm so mad. That's not how you keep people coming back.

Pros: The steaks are really good quality beef and have a good seasoning and marinade, The shrimp, salads and rolls are fresh and delicious. the desert selections are good too. Cons: I don't understand why it causes an outrage when I dip shrimp skewers into the Chocolate Wonderfall fountain??
