My partner and I picked up food to go, I had the pork chow mein and my partner had the Lemon chicken. We also got a side of the crab rangoon and two strawberry bubble tea. The pork chow mein was wonderful, lots flavor. I also had some of the lemon chicken, it was good but on the dry side. The crab Rangoon's where very good, best that I have had in a long time. The strawberry bubble teas on the other hand where gross. They tasted like water downed Pepto-Bismol with chunks of old tapioca in it. Not worth the 5.30. Save your money in that one. Overall food was good, spent 23.40. When I go back I will be skipping the bubble tea.

Waited over half an hour for bland, mediocre food. And I was the only customer in the place....at Lunch time. Now I know why. A couple walked in off the street 15 min after I ordered, and ordered theirs to go. They were out the door 10 min later and I was still waiting. When I complained, the person at the counter said the chicken for my dish had to be grilled, so it took longer. Really? To grill a super thin, 1/8th inch piece of chicken and slice it into strips takes 30 min? Anyway...waited too long for lousy food.

If you want something that is closer to real Chinese food in Nampa (not Americanized Hong Kong or Quick Wok), this is it. It's always busy because it's tucked away in the corner of the Edwards movie theater parking lot off of Cassia. You can drive around the back of the theater and park in the lot next to the restaurant for better access. I highly recommend the shrimp and snow peas. Is it the best Chinese food I've ever tasted? No. But when I need a Chinese food fix this is the place I prefer to go.

This is one of the better fast food Chinese, especially in Nampa, Idaho area. The price was good too and it is next to the Edward's movie theater so if you like Chinese and in the area, I recommend you to try it at least onece. I liked Chung Hing Fried noodle.

This place is exactly what I expecte from a Nampa Chinese joint. Unremarkable but good food. This fast food restaurant is located in a strip mall and requires you to order at the counter. It kind of had a wierd vibe to it. The owners were clearly Chinese but the waitstaff were local fare. Not bad overall but not worth driving out of your way

Very friendly and fast service. We had our waters refilled and was attentively tended too - very unusual for fast Chinese. The food was hot and tasty.

I visited Chung Hing for the very first time and i must say I was impressed with most of there food. The owner makes everything homemade. My dining companion and I ordered a bunch of different items for takeout. The Mongolian beef was outstanding. The beef was tender and sauteed up with onions, then piled on top of small little noodles that soaked up the juices. The spicy Mandarin Chicken and the chow mein with pan fried noodles were both great. The chicken was sweet with just a little heat. The mandarin sauce was really good. One of the better one's i have tried. The chow mein had a nice mix of vegetables and tasted great. This was the first time that i have ever tried cashew chicken,i wasn't impressed. Some people may enjoy it but it's not something i would ever order again. The crab ragoons and pot stickers both tasted good and you can tell they are homemade. I would definitely order the crab ragoons again. The one thing i can live without is there fried rice. It reminds me of Panda Express fried rice so if you like there's, then you will like Chung Hings. If you are in the area i would recommend giving them a chance.

Waited about 40 minutes for my food after ordering. Atmosphere is cramped and unappealing.

We did takeout, four dinner entrees, and we have enough for three lunches left! And the price is right. Each entree had its own flavor, no generic MSG Chinese taste. The beef with snowpeas was my favorite of all. I would go here before other nampa chinese. UPDATE: we got the lemon chicken tonight, it was NOT GOOD. Super dry, splintery, even with the sauce. The rest of the meal was good though. Hunane tofu was delish.

Best Chinese food I've had in Idaho. Coming from San Francisco I set the bar high, very surprised to say the least. Relatively large portions and very authentic!

awesome awesome food! the only reason i give 4 stars is because the look of the place. its clean but i wish they were in a better looking place. but then the portions would probably drop so you know what i'm giving them 5 stars. keep it up chung hing

The food at Chung Hing earns them most of their 4 stars. With a few small changes to their service and atmosphere this restaurant could be doing much better. I hate to see them struggle as their food is Phenominal. The interior feels dirty and run down. There is very light signage outside. The service is nice but unprofessional. Make a few changes and keep cooking great. I want you guys to stick around!!!

Food was decent, but I waited for an hour for my food. Place wasn't even busy. Not worth the wait, I will not be back.

The only decent Chinese restaurants in Nampa. But they need to adjust their prices & make sure that the restaurant is clean.

I had a really hard time enjoying the food because the place was so filthy. The tables and even the walls looked like they had needed a good wipe-down for awhile. I'd hate to see the kitchen.

Great carry out or eat in. I think they have the best General's Chicken and Hot and Sour Soup in Canyon County!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
