Cute place located inside The Village. Outdoor seating faces the fountain and kids play area and right next to the cinema. The atmosphere was nice, it would be fun to come here for dinner or late night appetizers. We were here on a Monday for late lunch and it was pretty much empty. We ordered the Argentinean fish tacos, strawberry balsamic salad and half the pear and beet salad with chicken. They have an assortment of mocktails to choose from which was fun! The total was $43. Kinda spendy. Not too impressed with the tacos or the strawberry salad but the beet and pear salad was very good! Glad I ordered the 1/2 size because it was very hearty and filling. Next time I'm in town I wouldn't mind coming here for dinner or dessert.

Really expensive for what you get; Frozen pizza crust. I asked, they confirmed. The service on the other hand is always very good. They have a really good mix for drink choices and a few wines in there too. The atmosphere probably wins for what's best here. Sit outdoors or in and it's a nice little spot.

This is my favorite place to eat and relax in Idaho!!! If you have never been here you're making a huge mistake! The food quality is out of this world. The staff and service are amazingly trained and know what they are doing, have it down to a science. The bar service is incredible and the mixology is truly of 1st class caliber! I don't need to say anything else the service and food do it all by themselves. Make sure to stop in and try it out! You won't regret it!

Great service, excellent food. Made a reservation Thursday for 6:00 on Friday, March 13th for my mom's birthday. We were immediately seated, menus brought, drink orders taken. We needed a bit more time to place meal orders, the menu is so impressive! I had The Tuscan Pizza (which reheated amazingly 2 days later)-- so flavorful, and on a thin crust. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Mom loved the Pepper Salmon, and hubs was very pleased with the Bistro Steak Salad. Knowing that it was Mom's birthday, they offered us a free dessert, and we are signing up for the Loyalty Club card under her name. The "Sticky Cookie" is amazing. Definitely will be back, and highly recommended!!

Absolutely, positively an amazing experience! The atmosphere and food was nothing short of first class! Our waitress Mandy was superb and her expertise in food choices and drinks was second to none! The decadent appetizers she recommended was mouth watering and left us in awe of what was to come. We decided to take her vast knowledge of the menu and ordered the pawn in salmon pasta and the pork dish Gucci. Needless to say every single morsel was consumed with a smile on our faces! Mandy was the cherry on the top of our dining experience at twigs! Give this woman a raise now! See my photos... I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

I've never been disappointed by my Twigs experience. The sticky cookie is worth every penny. The salads are huge. Cuban roll sand which is AMAZING. I'd get it every time if I could.

Drinks were good, ordered blackened chicken sandwich $12.50 Way, way too small! Especially for a man! Thin sliced little piece of chicken, all bread!! Way too expensive for what you got! , too small! Disappointed!

We came in for happy hour and weren't disappointed. We were promptly seated on the patio, our server was friendly and attentive and made good suggestions. I had the Chocolate Kiss Martini which was very good, I'm not a big drinker and a bit of a lightweight so for me it was strong but it wasn't over powering. My husband had the Lemon Drop and he said it was good but it could have used a little more citrus favor. The bruschetta flatbread with the mozzarella and balsamic is excellent. We didn't order any entrees this time but we would definitely come back for dinner some time!

Pretty extensive list of yummy Martinis. The service is swift and friendly but not pushy at all. The food is pretty darn good, from what I've tried. Haven't had a complaint yet, and my super picky eater (fiance) even loves it. He special orders every time and no attitude whatsoever from the servers, that's rare in my experience lol. Let's be real though, it says "martini bar" in the name. I go for the that reasone alone, and if I get an awesome meal too that's a plus

My family and I decided to stop in at twigs and finally try it after a movie. At first I was excited because I had heard great things about it, but was disappointed by the quality of food. The lamb smelled incredibly bad. My dad couldn't even finish his plate. The Sun dried tomato and artichoke chicken had a overpowering flavor. We went during a slow time so that could have been a reason. I'll definitely give them a second chance to redeem themselves but until then I'm giving it 2 stars. Mostly for their amazing drinks!

Great food, strong/tasty drinks, and a beautiful patio! My family had such a great lunch here yesterday, and we are already excited to come back!

I will just start by saying that the waitress we had was super nice and did a fantastic job. I think she was the only waitress there on a Friday afternoon. We did like the artichoke appetizer and the brownie dessert was also really good. We ordered the butternut gnocchi and caesar salads. I have never had a gnocchi meal that was so bland and dry. I felt like it had been re warmed and the butter sauce was sucked into the pasta. The caesar salads were only good after requesting more dressing as they were also very dry. Martini's that we tried were ok but lukewarm. I really don't think I will be returning here.

Great place to eat for a date. We sat on the patio and shared amazing appetizers and a salad. They have an amazing bar and great drinks to select from..

We split a calamari appetizer first. The squid was pretty tender. The sauce was OK as long as you didn't use too much, then it was WAY overpowering. I had the Orange Chicken Salad. Not very good. Small bits of chicken in too much batter. The whole thing was slathered in this sauce that was overly tart and overwhelmed everything in its path. The Twig's Chardonnay was bleak and I wished I had ordered a different wine, but there weren't that many by-the-glass choices. The only good parts were the service, which was not exceptional but attentive. And, the atmosphere is nice. Otherwise, I'm not sure I'd go back.

I have been Twigs on three occasions now, and have yet to have a bad experience. The first visit was strictly for cocktails, and I must say they have quite the extensive selection of martini options. I had an inner struggle with myself to make a decision, and in the end, switched it up between drink one and two so that I could broaden my horizons. Drinks were tasty and just the right blend of alcohol to mixers. The service was friendly and attentive. We sat in the bar area, which has tall pub style tables and chairs. My second visit was for dinner and drinks out on the patio. The weather was nice, but there was a slight chill in the air. Their patio heaters provided just the right amount of heat, to keep me comfortable. I ordered the pesto margherita chicken and it was delicious. I couldn't get enough of the amazing balsamic glaze drizzled around the plate. Service again was friendly and attentive. Drinks were again well mixed. My third visit was this past week for a presentation in their private back room. A meal was provided, and so the menu choices were limited to a small selection. My fav chicken was an option, and I couldn't resist by to go for it! And I was not disappointed. It came out piping hot and was as good as I remembered the first time around. We were also served a pre-fixed salad called insalada mista which was very good. I probably would have never ordered it on my own, as it would have been too much food. But it has delicious candied walnuts and gorgonzola cheese, so how can you go wrong? Staff was great at getting the food out to the entire group (probably about 15-20 of us) in a very efficient manner. The room itself was a little bit odd in it's layout (in relation to everyone being able to equally see the presentation) but it was a nice room, none the less. All in all, I would come back again. Whether it was just for drinks or for a meal.

To start, the atmosphere is classy, in keeping with the surrounding area, and it is a great place for ladies night or date night provided there isn't live music going on at The Village (it can be a bit noisy for pleasant conversation). I was not overly impressed with the service - I have usually had to wait some time for a table even though the place was mostly empty and the server is frequently slow to refill waters, etc. They do bring the food promptly, though. That said, the food is satisfactory (possibly slightly overpriced). The drinks are fantastic, always and happy hour begins at 9pm for select drinks.

Having a gluten allergy takes a lot of the fun out of dining, but not at Twigs! I had already eaten at Yardhouse and Kona Grill at The Village, and was pleased that they both had GF specific menus, but they were very limited and not exciting. Twigs has a great GF menu! Everyone else in my party enjoyed their food as well. The atmosphere is nice, and so is the patio.

Had dinner here with the family and give this place 2 stars based solely on the attentive service that we received. The food and drinks were less than mediocre. We had a couple of martini specialty drinks and apps while waiting for the last few people to show up. The bruschetta flatbread seemed to skimp on everything but the balsamic glaze and the calamari was your basic uninspired calamari. The specialty drinks all crossed to the overly-sweet side of the street. Unimpressed, I decided to play it safe (and light), and go with the roasted beet and pear salad with goat cheese and candied walnuts. The walnuts were good, the pear slices were good and that's about it. The beets were diced (as in very tiny) and had that rubbery texture that you get when they've been sitting in the fridge a day too long. The goat cheese was sparse at best. Pretty tough to screw up a beet salad, but now I've seen it done. No dessert. The service was very good.

We have eaten at Twigs three times now. The first time we ordered a pizza and salad and when the pizza came out, it was not the correct pizza we ordered. They said we could keep it and they would make us another one but we told them that was okay. Once the bill came, we noticed they didn't charge us for the pizza (which you would hope a restaurant would do) but it was nice to see that we didn't have to complain about it. The second time we ordered off the appetizer menu and had calamari, fish tacos and the sliders. All were delicious but I cannot rave more about the calamari. What a different twist with artichokes. So good! We also ordered some martini's which were delicious. The third time we came we had reservations. When we arrived, we had to wait about 10 minutes for our table (not a big deal as it was a busy weekend night) but when we were seated, the manager came over to apologize and said we could order any two appetizers off the menu for free for having to wait. I didn't feel we had to really wait very long but this was a very nice gesture and just good service. For our free appetizers, we decided to try something we have not ordered before so we ordered the bruschetta flatbread (it was just okay) and the artichoke frites (pretty good). Wish I ordered the calamari again because did I mention (SO GOOD). For dinner we had the bison burger (VERY good) and the pesto margherita chicken (pretty good). The kids had just regular Twigs signature burgers and they devoured them. Everyone really enjoyed the fries that came with the burgers. We have had great service at Twigs and the management and staff have always taken good care of us. We have really enjoyed the food and the variety of the meals and would recommend this place for sure!

Fantastic! We came here on our way passing through Boise with a friend, and I can't say enough good things about this bistro. The atmosphere is great, with lots of ornate, modern decor, and everything was very clean. They have a full bar, and as their name suggests, a huge drink and martini list. Our waitress was fantastic, and even though the place was packed, she took plenty of time to chat and make us feel welcome, and our orders came out just as we'd ordered them. Everyone at my table had a salad (I had the Pear and Roasted Beet Salad- highly suggest it), and all of them were fresh and delicious, and the plates we saw getting delivered to other tables looked just beautiful too! Next time, I'd probably come here on a quieter night, but that's pretty hard to predict. All in all, best place I've tried in the Village!

Twigs is great! Every time we have gone, we have been very pleased with the food. Fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, with lots of unique flavors. The only aspect of their business that needs a little improvement is their service but it is still a top notch restaurant!

I rarely get out to Meridian. I mean, why? I live a $7.00 cab ride from downtown Boise--why do I need to go to out to Meridian? The Village in Meridian opened and I was unmoved. Again, what do I need there that I can't get right here in B-town? Let me be clear--I'm not a Boise snob...just more a fan of convenience. I live in the north end...let me get what I can get right here in my hood and the rest be damned, thank you very much. Theeeen I heard a martini bar was opening in The Village. Now...far be it from me to travel beyond a few miles for shopping of any kind. Really, it's more than I can bear to deal with the traffic. BUT...a martini bar? I have been known to travel quite a distance on the promise of a good cocktail. I've structured entire vacations on the allure of exotic cocktails...so...temptation finally got the better of me and on their second day of operation, off to Twigs I went (hey...I waited a whole day and a half...remarkable restraint, I'd say). I am so glad I did. They have a menu that includes a variety of cocktails and then they have their dazzling martini menu featuring 36 signature martinis. So much to choose from! I finally decided on their Razitini (vodka, Bols Black Raspberry Liqueur, lime) and my dining companion had their French 75 (Bombay dry, muddled lemon, float of champagne)--both were sensational. I would have appreciated a healthier pour...but I'm a bit of a greedy lush. As good as the cocktails were, however, they are not what will have me trekking to Meridian on a now more regular basis than I'll care to admit. No. We can blame that on the Twig Signature Fries with gorgonzola fondue. Gorgonzola! Fondue! My people! The fries come seasoned with salt, pepper, rice vinegar, a light dusting of cayenne, and fresh chopped basil. Perfect. The gorgonzola...well...if gorgonzola is the cheese of the gods (which it is...don't mess with me on this people), then fondue is the perfected presentation of said cheese. To quote our (quite lovely, attentive, and perfect in every way) server, "the gorgonzola fondue is liquid gold. I'd like to take it home and put it on everything." I completely agree. It is just. that. good. I also enjoyed their pear and roasted beet salad. I got the half order, which was plentiful. My dining companion ordered the full, which was huge. This hearty salad is beautifully fresh and flavorful (and also features gorgonzola crumbles). The pear vinaigrette is light and lovely. The pears are fresh and sliced beautifully thin. And...the final lovely touch is the chilled bowl in which it is served. This really makes a difference as you get to the bottom and you find the leaves have retained their deliciously fresh and cool crispness. Beautifully designed, Twigs maintains an ambiance that is chic and modern. There is really nothing to dislike...and no reason what-so-ever to delay.... Get to it!

Love the ambiance, lots of pretty details to look at, including the food presentation!!! Friendly service, nothing bad to say! The food, drinks, dessert, and the check came at a good pace. All of the desserts were awesome! Creme Brulee = delicious, perfect consistency & caramelized shell! Strawberry Sunday= huge and I scarfed it all down, fresh strawberries, YUM! Smores Dessert= Fantastic brownie & flavor! Pesto Margherita Chicken- really good!! Loved the veggies, potatoes and of course the chicken! Would order again! Pork Osso Bucco- My Dad really enjoyed this Bruschetta Flatbread- Mom also enjoyed this, no complaints TNT Coulotte- flavorless steak, husband didn't care for the sauce, or how it was cooked... wouldnt order again! Looked way better than it tasted. Overall great experience.

With the windows open on a warm sunny day, this place has a great atmosphere. Looking at the menu while we were waiting got us excited - who does a Coulotte Steak anymore? The three star rating was unfortunately for the execution on the food and drinks (normally a two star) and the recovery by the manager. The Moscow Mules were not served in a copper cup. I know that seems like a stupid thing, but it's half the fun of ordering the drink...especially for my wife and I who have a sentimental thing about it. They were listed on the menu as such, which made us want to order them for nostalgia's sake. The server looked at me like I was nuts when I asked about the cup (I probably am nuts, but that's independent of cup construction). The more important part was that they just tasted off - like someone used ginger pulp or ginger liquor instead. Not undrinkable, but off. So I gallantly downed my wife's drink and she ordered a Malbec which turned out to be fantastic. We both ordered Pork Saltimbocca for dinner. It was leathery and overcooked, but otherwise had all the salty-sweet flavor you want in that dish. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes were a disc of glue under the pork, like the chef pretty much phoned it in. The vegetables (the easiest part of the dish) were actually pretty amazing though. Did I mention we had an about-to-melt-down 10 month old in tow? Normally I'd take the time to send something back if it was gawd awful, but in this case we dined and dashed. I figured it would be wrong not to give the manager a head's up, so on our way out I chatted with him, and he was apologetic and gracious, gave us coupons for two free entrees, and handled it like a champ. We'll go back, and probably try something that other reviewers have commented on. Any suggestions?

We came for a birthday and it was incredible. I had the pesto margarita chicken and it was everything and more than I thought it would be. Our waitress was extremely helpful with helping us order drinks. I had the basil lime kamikaze and the blood orange martini and I would totally get them again. Everyone in our party was extremely satisfied and I can't wait to go back!

We ate here on a Friday evening. We sat in the bar area and the weather was nice. They have doors that open up and it creates a great outdoor environment without being outside. The waitress was great, she always made sure we were being taken care of. We ate the Polynesian pizza. It was excellent. We will be back.

Great place to stop before movie. Lots of martini to choose from which is kind of cool and fun! Other's that have yelped about the fries and fondue are correct! AWESOME............ But our other appetizers were only fair. Meat just not very good. Restaurant atmosphere very contemporary and trendy. Service was excellent and you can tell everyone is having fun working at this new and exciting place. Obviously a bit on the expensive side but a kind of place you have to try.

My husband took me to Twigs for my birthday. It's like Baskin Robbins for 'tini drinkers. When we arrived, they said it would be a 30 minute wait. No problem, I wanted to browse a few stores anyway. The cool thing is instead of a pager, they just get your number so they can text you. Our wait was only 15 minutes. We started with calamari, which is lightly breaded and seasoned with the occasional chili flake to give it just the right amount of heat, and the lemon garlic aioli was very tasty. Then my husband had steak with a red wine glaze and I had Alaskan cod and Twigs' signature fries. We also had an extra side of the lemon garlic aioli, which offset the heat from the cayenne on the fries perfectly. Amazingly we saved room for drunken donuts, which were so good. What could have been cloyingly sweet was decadent and creamy. The apple pucker caramel was my favorite of the dipping sauces. I also had a huckleberry lemon drop (something I could only find downtown until now) and a black stiletto, which is my new favorite drink. It's Black Velvet caramel whiskey, amaretto, a splash of sour and a cherry. It was so smooth. Our waitress Kayla was the right degree of present, always there when needed, never there at a bad time. The wait for food and drinks was minimal. Perfect service. My husband even requested to speak with the manager Laura. She is very passionate about Twigs and eager for feedback, good or bad. Overall, Twigs is cut above the other Village restaurants with a more mellow, sophisticated ambiance and amazing food and drinks. I'd say it even rivals if not surpasses my downtown favorites. Most places have a particular drink or dish I like, or an ambiance I appreciate, but Twigs is the whole package. Update: we've been back 3 times, and service has been consistently wonderful. The signature burger is transcendent. I recommend trying it without the bacon because the burger has such a good flavor already.

Another great evening. ..still very impressed with food and service. Still sat outside with clients that had never been to the Village. Everyone thrilled with food including the Gluten Free menu (one member of party, this was very important!!) For dessert we had the Sticky Cookie...yummmm! (Ok, one in party had gluten free and still very happy with it)

Went to Twig's on a Sunday for lunch. The place was surprisingly empty but I was kind of glad considering it is brand new which generally equals bedlam trying to get a table. We were seated immediately and given the food menu and extensive drink menu. They have a huge selection of martinis and mixed drinks, which I would hope since they are a martini bar. They've got mojitos, martinis, margaritas and lots of drinks that are made with their signature lemonade. Tons of wine selection and a decent amount of beer. For lunch we ordered the Turkey BLT Wrap and the Fajita Chicken Salad which happens to be gluten free (salad, not the wrap). The food came relatively quickly and was hot and as ordered. My sister enjoyed her wrap, said the basil mayo paired with the basil that was sprinkled on the fries was almost borderline too much basil but overall she enjoyed her sandwich and fries. The fries had a little kick apparently. My Fajita Chicken Salad was excellent-- the chicken was tender and moist and the veggies were cooked perfectly. The chipotle ranch pair well. The salad was quite large, you have the option to order a half which I suggest for lunch. Overall it was a good experience, the restaurant gave off a good vibe without being overly pretentious.

We return to this location often because of the consistency in food, drinks and service. The BBQ chicken flatbread and the Cuban dip are always great choices. The Kahlua pork sandwich and the turkey BLT wrap are nothing special, but consistent. I will say that their "signature" fries are not signature in my opinion. Their cocktails are all good, but the drink menu is large so if that overwhelms you, be prepared.

OK so many of our friends said they had pleasant experiences.... So I thought we give another try. When you go to the front counter just like last time no one is there. But someone showed up and we got a table. After few minutes waitress came by and asked us if our waitress had showed up. She had not. Few more minutes same waitress came back saying she told our waitress that she had customers. Few more minutes waitress showed up. She had no clue to the beer list and left to find out. She came back. We ordered immediately as not to cause another trip. Bottom line is we will not be back. To many other options. Kona Grill is excellent and we will try Yardhouse next time. And really good restaurants respond to the people that post poor reviews. Just shows this place is not on top of things.

So happy! GF options and menu, very careful about my daughter's dairy aversion and the kids got to play while we ate since it is next to the playground. The food was really amazing, and the GF peanut butter pie was decadent. I will be coming back here! Changing table BOTH men and women's bathrooms, plus a family bathroom. Very modern decor with sliding window doors to the patio. Really fun and delicious.

The drinks were very good but the staff acted like we were a bother to them. I asked if instead of Buffalo sauce, if I could get bbq. A very reasonable request and so she talked to the cook, they said fine. I got the food and there was no bbq and an over abundance of buffalo. I asked her for a new one with bbq and she told me the kitchen had closed. I was also charged for it. I don't think I will be coming back unless it is only for the drinks cause the bartender was awesome.

Out door setting let's you enjoy not only your dinner and drinks but everything going on in the plaza. I was really impressed with the patio heaters and how well they worked without being right on top of you. This is really the only reason it was possible to enjoy our dinner on the patio as there was a chill in the air that evening. As for the food, I was very happy. The portion sizes were not small and they even had the option to order half size plates which worked out well for my wife. Everything was prepared well and tasted great. After we finished our dinner we did not feel stuffed and lethargic nor did we feel like we wanted more, everything was just right.

We ate here for lunch with our family while visiting the village. It was a huge place with open air seating. We chose to sit inside and since it was a week day and a little later in the afternoon no one was really there. The food was insanely good and the bloody mary was incredible. Service was great and when my mother in law was stung by a bee while sitting in the restaurant, no fault of theirs, they paid for her entire order. The staff that helped us was timely and professional. We really enjoyed our food and would go back again in a heartbeat.

i took my family to Twigs last night. Ok, so my wife dragged me to Twigs. So Sue me. Speakin of So Sue Me, do you know of this sound on the Mac? Its actually called SoSumi. When Apple was 1st coming out with the Macintosh line of computers many years ago, they were going to have all these cool sounds. Before Apple, there was no such thing as sound in computers. The music industry did not like it because Apple was infringing in their turf. Music. They told Apple not to put sounds into its computers Well, Apple decided, in tru Apple style to do it anyway. They named one of these system sounds in commencement of the music industries opposition and called it "So Sue Me" (SoSume). Ok, back to the review. I am more of a tee shirt, shorts, sandles and peanuts on the floor type of guy. Nod here to Texas Road House. My wife is more of a foofoo upscale type of diner. Like Cheese Cake Factory, which this place reminds me of. So, going to Twigs was not my 1st choice, or even my 111th choice. Even the name "Twigs" did not sounds good. It gave me visions of Rabbit Food and well. twigs. I want meat to eat, not very small tree branches. But to keep the peace and keep harmony in a marriage, its a really good idea to keep your wife happy. Happy wife, happy life! So off we went to Twigs. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. There were several things on the menu that raised my attention level. Unfortunately, many of them are just way to foofoo and expensive for me. So I settled on the Hamburger. The one that got juices flowing was the Roasted Garlic Gorgonzola Burger. Garlic???? Color me there! My daughter had the Oodles of Noodles. My wife had the BBQ Chicken Cobb. I was amazed when my burger came out to see full sized cloves of garlic. Not just a few wimpy pieces of Garlic, but FULL SIZED GARLIC CLOVES! Count Dracula would never order this burger. In fact, he would probably die from the very sight of it. I have to admit that I was scared. In all my years, and I have quite a few of them, I have never seen full sized cloves of Garlic used on anything, much less a hamburger. I hesitated, but worked up the courage to take a bite. Wow! The Garlic Cloves were cooked in such a way that they were soft and chewy. I even took one out to try it on its own. It was like biting into butter, and had no bitter garlic taste at all. In fact, If I had not known it was garlic, I might have wondered what it was. It did taste like garlic, but it did not have a strong flavor at all. The menu said that the burger was a half pound patty. I am not sure I buy that one. The hamburger though was good. I did not taste any Gorgonzola though. It tasted charbroiled and smoky, I am a fan on this burger. I could taste what was an attempt to do something interesting with their fries, but it was just no where near enough to make them stand out. My daughter was brought out a huge mountain of noodles. I was amused to see that they carried this hugeness of the noodles onto the actual check at the end of the meal. Every other item is in a normal small case. But the OODLES OF NOODLES was all in upper case. The noodles were....well, what can I say about noodles. They were nothing special. Just noodles. My wifes BBQ chicken salad was good. The BBQ sauce had a pretty good smoky flavor to it. I was not expecting that. The chicken was tender and juicy. I will be back

Went in for dinner last night and was less than impressed. I ordered a Garlic Gorgonzola Burger and my girlfriend ordered the Lamb Sandwich. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time, but when I cut my burger, I discovered that my request for medium rare had been translated by the kitchen as "well done". I showed my server who agreed the temperature was completely off and let her take the burger back to get a new one fired. The 2nd burger came out about 10 mins later... and surprise... it was well done again. At this point I was hungry enough that I didn't care anymore and decided I'd just eat the burger as it was... Definitely a mistake. The meat was incredibly poor quality, had virtually no seasoning besides the garlic cloves and was dripping grease. I let my server take it away after just one bite. Ended up eating half of my girlfriend's Lamb Sandwich which was very forgettable. The meat was extremely dry and I've had better Tzatziki Sauce from Costco. I will point out that the manager did a good job of trying to smooth things over and ended up comping much of the meal and getting us desert. The creme brule' was actually quite excellent. But even though the manager gave me a card for a free entree as enticement to come back, the quality and taste of the food was so sub par that I doubt I will ever go back to Twigs. The manager and the service staff are the only reason I don't give this restaurant 1 star.

The restaurant decor is really nice ,open and modern. However, we found ourselves seated at a dirty table. When we mentioned the dirty table it was wiped down with a rag. The menu has ample choices something for everyone. The wait staff was sluggish at best, zombies. The food so so..and the worst part was the paper nanpkins, and spotted flatware. For a $40 lunch not including alcoholic beverages, I expected better. Will not be back and will not recommend.

My wife and I had lunch Sunday and it was terrific. Food was great and ambiance was perfect. I had the Avocado BLT Wrap - this was the best wrap ever! Kudos to the chef. My wife had a salad with grilled chicken - outstanding! A magical setting outside on the patio. Highly recommend this place!

This place is very promising but today, my review is only mediocre. I came in by myself and wasn't noticed for 10 minutes until I vocalized to a passing waitress that I hadn't been helped. The waitress seemed to offer decent service to others, but not to me--I had a feeling she was a avoiding me because she thought I would be an aggravated customer from then on. The food was decent but not outstanding. Butternut squash soup was over-spiced and not as pleasing as I would expect. The crab and artichoke dip was just so-so as well. The crab was slightly fishy which offset the whole dish. I've eaten at another Twigs before and really enjoyed it. The martini menu is fabulous so this is probably a great place to unwind and have a bite. I'd like to give this location a second try. I have a feeling this was just a bad day for them.

Not a fan and I have given this place 3 different chances. My pizza was drowning in garlic the first time. The pasta was lacking the next time and the 3rd time we ended up leaving before we even ordered because our waiter was nowhere to be found after they sat us. Not even the voucher I have for a free pizza could make me go back here.

I have to admit that I work nearby and that's why I dared to try it. I took 2 of my employees to Twigs for dinner and was impressed with what I found! The atmosphere is modern and fancy, fitting in perfectly with the rest of the theme at The Village. They had great specials and an extensive menu. What was most appreciated was that our server (Jeff) was knowledgeable about the menu options and was able to provide clarity when asked. We grilled him on his favorites and the most popular. Ironically we each picked a favorite of his from 3 different categories and am so happy we did. Their menu offers a great variation in palate pleasures as well as price ranges. Their pizzas are great, with a variety of flavors that you wouldn't have thought to combine off hand; the sandwiches were well put together and more than enough to fill you up. I will be honest that I didn't try any of their famous martinis but was impressed with the enormous selection that they offered. I would highly recommend checking it out and giving it a try ! Can't wait to go again when the patio is open!

Won't go back. Went on friday afternoon for Happy hour. That was a joke. Ordered Basil, Lime martini (not on happy list). Pretty much the most disappointing drink. $9. Horrible drink. Girlfriend had the same drink and she felt the same. She agreed,,,,, we were celebrating her finishing a paint job on my houSe. We Ordered the fries with Gorgonzola sauce. Robbery. Would not recommend this place to Anyone. A rip off. Horrible.

A little bit expensive. But overall good experience. Our server corissa went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of after the kitchen messed up my girlfriends order. For this reason alone I will be back.

My husband and I live within walking distance of Twigs bistro. So on one of our nights we didn't feel like cooking we walked over. We walked in expecting to have a lot better of an experience then we did. First off the food was delicious, no denying that. They know their food. We had the crab & artichoke dip appetizer, fish & chips entree and I had a pasta I can't actually remember the name of, but it was delicious. Where I cut off three stars is because of the service. It was AWFUL. The crab & artichoke dip comes with a generous portion of dip, but only six or seven measly pieces of bread. We were spooning a lot of dip on our bread and there was still half a bowl of dip left. So we did like any normal diner would and asked for more bread, which we were informed would be an additional $1.50. Our host (which happened to come by our table at that moment) also said, "Oh yeah everyone asks for more bread because there isn't enough." If you know there isn't enough, ADD MORE BREAD. Wait, I'm paying for something I've already paid for? I've gone to restaurants at $75-$100/person and they don't charge for bread...then again neither does Red Robin! Ridiculous! Immediately we were turned off. As we waited for our bread to come out our entree's showed up. Then, not a moment later so did the bread. I told the waitress to excuse the bread because at this point it would be pointless to finish our appetizer with our entrees sitting in front of us. During our meal we had a visit from the manager upon hearing of our evening from the host and our waitress. We explained to him what they could do about the dip, reduce dip portion or add more bread. Duh. Charging for bread is dumb. He also asked if they could do anything for us, at that point we had enough and decided no. When we received our bill, nothing was reduced (as most restaurants would do to bring you back) or comped. We won't be back. Which is a shame, the food was good. The service, WAS TERRIBLE.

I've been to Twigs for lunch and dinner. We had family in town and decided to stop in for happy hour. The $6.00 martini on happy hour were only MAYBE 3/4 full. Looked like they made 2 and split it three ways...Disappointing at best. The appetizers were the same way. Won't be back, will head to Kona Grill instead.

Gorgonzola fries were legit! Our server Holly was great. It was everything I heard it was, good drinks and okay food. Nothing really stood out. The ambiance is strange, the music is very low so there is an awkward silence.

My experience with Twigs was not good. Host was not to be found when entering the restaurant, all well managed restaurants would not allow this to occur. The wait staff was pleasant and service was good, but that does not make up for the food. The salad and food mediocre at best. My salad, citrus chicken with cashews was too sweet, and the cashews were burned. No dressing on salad, and rather dull in flavor if one can get past the terrible chicken which I pushed to the side and avoided after one bite. I will not go back. I have experienced better salads at fast food restaurants. I have eaten many excellent salads but this was a poor excuse for one. The turkey bacon wrap and fries were flat in flavor and dry and the fries had too much pepper, For someone that likes spice and seasoning, I wondered if the owners ever eat what they serve their customers.

It could be that I had higher hopes, but they didn't deliver what I was expecting. The ambiance was so so and the service was not so great. It has the making to be something great but they need to up their game to compete. I would much rather go to the Yard House or Kona Grill.

I can't tell you about the food but the service was lacking. We were seated and given menus right away. Then we sat for 15 minutes with no contact from the wait staff. The restaurant was not crowded. We are now having great bulgogi at Rice Works and still have plenty of time to get to our movie. This ap insists I give a star rating even though I want able to try the food so I'll have to go with a 1 since there isn't a zero.

When I first came here I wasn't to ecstatic about the place. I guess I just expected more. Once I came back the 2nd and 3rd time that's when it really grew on me. Their cocktails are very good, and have really good happy hour drinks as well. The twigs amber ale is really good choice if you ask me. The happy hour food isn't big portions what so ever, but still good though. I would say the best time to come in would be during the late night where it really sets the mood for a cocktail bar.

I thought the food was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food made it to the table at the perfect pace for a quick bite out with colleagues and as delicious on top of that. Excellent variety of drinks and the one thing I would say to anyone like me from out of town - finding the place is tricky as development of the area is recent so Google maps couldn't get us there. Our local colleague had to get on the phone with us and guide us there which made us late to the party. It was a great experience overall though!

Loved Twigs!! I first thought it was going to be too pricey, but it wasn't too bad! It wouldn't have mattered because the food was my fav! Me and my husband shared their stuffed banana peppers for an appetizer. Then for our entree we had their steak salad with roasted cashews, feta cheese, red onions, roasted tomatoes and balsamic dressing. Oh it was delicious! Then we had their donuts with three different dips chocolate, Carmel and my favorite amaretto! And our waitress was genuine and nice. It's officially become my new favorite restaurant!

Twigs is a beautiful restaurant with great menu options! Our server miah was just amazing and so friendly we really enjoyed this place! Miah recommended the Moroccan beef which was INCREDIBLE! And the strawberry lemon drop martini is to die for! Stop by twigs you won't be sorry!

This is a stylish restaurant with a varied and interesting menu. My husbands Cuban sandwich was delicious, and my salad was great (beet/pear/walnut/blue cheese and chicken). The service was good. It is more mellow than both the yard house and the kona grill. It is family friendly. The prices were reasonable. We will go back.

Great place for good everything! The drinks are amazing and so are the deserts. It's a little expensive but it's worth it especially if your trying to go to a place with not as many kids as everywhere else.

My husband and I had lunch at Twigs yesterday and had a really nice experience. The salad was great...crisp and cold. I had the pepper salmon and was very impressed. I ordered the smaller portion which was just the right size. My hubby had the steak sandwich, tendered and cooked perfectly. Our service was outstanding! Our waiter was able to answer all of our questions and offered suggestions. He was helpful and prompt. Twigs will now go on our list of places to return to. We enjoyed having this new restaurant in our community.

Exactly as the two star rating states....I HAVE experienced better. So many new restaurants to choose from in the area, what better way to sample than to attend happy hour. My guest and I ordered appletinis and the French fries with gorgonzola sauce and the crab and artichoke dip. The French fries were $6 and an additional $3 for the fondue. Not worth it at all. The French fries were not special in any way. They were $2.50 fries sprinkled with some paprika for color and sprinkle of dried basil that didn't stick to the fries and just fell to the bottom of the plate. The fondue was o.k. Again nothing special and frankly too rich to dip the fries in. The crab artichoke dip was very good and generous enough for the appetizer portion, but I agree with another poster that there was not enough bread and we were not going to face the $1.50 dilemma of ordering more when there wasn't enough provided to begin with. I had to walk to the bar to order my second drink and the restaurant was not even 10% full. The martinis; The apple ones were o.k. The huckleberry lemon was really good. The staff were friendly, but not attentive. Our waitress was nice but not very available/attentive and the bartender seemed put out when he was doing his job. Reporting back to my husband, I said ehh...happy hour menu not impressive, overall I wasn't impressed with the service. I will not likely be over eager to go back. I just wasn't wowed. Sorry.

The place - I think this has become my go-to spot for fine dining in the village! Walking in, the place is super trendy with a bar area, seating area, and backroom that was open to the public but capable of holding private parties. The service - the hostess was less than friendly but our server was amazing even though she was in training! Although we had a designated waitress, other staff weren't hesitant to step in and fill waters and help with whatever I needed which was nice and made for quick service throughout the dining experience. The food - outstanding! My date and I got the twigs house burger and the fiesta/fajita salad. I don't know if I've eaten a tastier salad in Boise! The burger was cooked perfectly to medium rare with fresh toppings. The salad was crisp with lots of toppings and an amazing flavor. Our waitress even brought us a plate of pickle spears per my request! My only regret is not trying any of their signature martini's, but I will be sure to on my next visit!

Twigs is great! Every time we have gone, we have been very pleased with the food. Fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, with lots of unique flavors. The only aspect of their business that needs a little improvement is their service but it is still a top notch restaurant!

Went here expecting great things. The food was really salty, and for a martini bar, they did not make a good side car martini. Won't be back...

Best bison burger I've had! Comfortable, yet trendy and great service. Massive drink menu with choices beyond a cosmopolitan. Would definitely return and recommend to locals and out of towners.

Will not be back and will not recommend.

i took my family to Twigs last night.

A rip off. Horrible.

Gorgonzola fries were legit! Our server Holly was great. It was everything I heard it was, good drinks and okay food. Nothing really stood out. The ambiance is strange, the music is very low so there is an awkward silence.

Sorry.

Question, the photo of the garlic burger, looks like the meat patty is one of those frozen preformed patties.....are they?

The Pesto Chicken was fantastic! Don't order a pizza unless you want to be disappointed... Service was excellent, quick and my water was always full. Wish they had Coke products...

Will not be back and will not recommend.

i took my family to Twigs last night.

A rip off. Horrible.

Sorry.

(5)Casey H.

(2)Rebecca B.
(4)Amber G.

(2)Kimberly H.
Great food, strong/tasty drinks, and a beautiful patio! My family had such a great lunch here yesterday, and we are already excited to come back!
(5)C B.
(3)Jennifer W.
Great place to eat for a date. We sat on the patio and shared amazing appetizers and a salad. They have an amazing bar and great drinks to select from..
(5)Pete G.

(4)Doug D.
Excellent new restaurant to enjoy in Meridian. Excellent atmosphere and very hip. The food and service was very good! I think I will be dreaming about the drunken donuts for some to come.
(4)Meagan G.

Question, the photo of the garlic burger, looks like the meat patty is one of those frozen preformed patties.....are they?

(5)Brandon F.
Twigs is great! Every time we have gone, we have been very pleased with the food. Fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, with lots of unique flavors. The only aspect of their business that needs a little improvement is their service but it is still a top notch restaurant!

(4)Karlee K.
The Pesto Chicken was fantastic! Don't order a pizza unless you want to be disappointed... Service was excellent, quick and my water was always full. Wish they had Coke products...

We ate here on a Friday evening. We sat in the bar area and the weather was nice. They have doors that open up and it creates a great outdoor environment without being outside. The waitress was great, she always made sure we were being taken care of. We ate the Polynesian pizza. It was excellent. We will be back.
(5)Chris H.

(5)Leah M.

(4)Jodi L.

Went here expecting great things. The food was really salty, and for a martini bar, they did not make a good side car martini. Won't be back...

Best bison burger I've had! Comfortable, yet trendy and great service. Massive drink menu with choices beyond a cosmopolitan. Would definitely return and recommend to locals and out of towners.

The calamari and an apple martini (well, 2 cuz it was happy hr) I enjoyed iT all and had to walk home ; drinks worth the $

The polynesian pizza is AMAZING! Haven't had a bad meal here yet! Great atmosphere, great service & reasonably price.

(3)Alexandra F.

A rip off. Horrible.
(1)Ken W.

(2)Dorothy C.
(2)Dwight P.
It could be that I had higher hopes, but they didn't deliver what I was expecting. The ambiance was so so and the service was not so great. It has the making to be something great but they need to up their game to compete. I would much rather go to the Yard House or Kona Grill.
(2)Susan M.

(4)Stephanie D.

(5)Jen P.

(5)Eric M.

(3)Al C.

(5)Casey H.
(5)Jd F.
I've never been disappointed by my Twigs experience. The sticky cookie is worth every penny. The salads are huge. Cuban roll sand which is AMAZING. I'd get it every time if I could.
(4)Dede S.
Drinks were good, ordered blackened chicken sandwich $12.50 Way, way too small! Especially for a man! Thin sliced little piece of chicken, all bread!! Way too expensive for what you got! , too small! Disappointed!
(2)Rebecca B.
(4)Amber G.
(4)Alexander H.
(2)Kimberly H.
Great food, strong/tasty drinks, and a beautiful patio! My family had such a great lunch here yesterday, and we are already excited to come back!
(5)Melissa K.

Question, the photo of the garlic burger, looks like the meat patty is one of those frozen preformed patties.....are they?

The Pesto Chicken was fantastic! Don't order a pizza unless you want to be disappointed... Service was excellent, quick and my water was always full. Wish they had Coke products...
(4)Charlie L.

Twigs is great! Every time we have gone, we have been very pleased with the food. Fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, with lots of unique flavors. The only aspect of their business that needs a little improvement is their service but it is still a top notch restaurant!

(4)Jodi L.
(4)Michelle T.

(1)Danielle B.
(2)Nancy R.
Went here expecting great things. The food was really salty, and for a martini bar, they did not make a good side car martini. Won't be back...
(2)Kevin K.
(4)Holley S.

(2)Cara G.
Best bison burger I've had! Comfortable, yet trendy and great service. Massive drink menu with choices beyond a cosmopolitan. Would definitely return and recommend to locals and out of towners.
(5)Lenchi J.
Will not be back and will not recommend.

i took my family to Twigs last night.

The calamari and an apple martini (well, 2 cuz it was happy hr) I enjoyed iT all and had to walk home ; drinks worth the $

The polynesian pizza is AMAZING! Haven't had a bad meal here yet! Great atmosphere, great service & reasonably price.

(5)Kelli B.
(3)Alexandra F.
(1)Victoria P.
(5)Joni P.
A rip off. Horrible.
(1)C B.
(3)Jennifer W.
Great place to eat for a date. We sat on the patio and shared amazing appetizers and a salad. They have an amazing bar and great drinks to select from..
(5)Pete G.
(2)Doug D.
Excellent new restaurant to enjoy in Meridian. Excellent atmosphere and very hip. The food and service was very good! I think I will be dreaming about the drunken donuts for some to come.
(4)Meagan G.
(4)Michael T.
Gorgonzola fries were legit! Our server Holly was great. It was everything I heard it was, good drinks and okay food. Nothing really stood out. The ambiance is strange, the music is very low so there is an awkward silence.
(2)Ken A.
(2)Ken W.
A little bit expensive. But overall good experience. Our server corissa went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of after the kitchen messed up my girlfriends order. For this reason alone I will be back.
(5)Ana O.
(2)Leanne S.
(1)Dorothy C.
(2)Dwight P.
It could be that I had higher hopes, but they didn't deliver what I was expecting. The ambiance was so so and the service was not so great. It has the making to be something great but they need to up their game to compete. I would much rather go to the Yard House or Kona Grill.
(2)Susan M.
(1)Kyle M.
(4)Stephanie D.
(5)Hayley B.
(5)Jen P.
(4)Lee D.
(5)Eric M.
Great place for good everything! The drinks are amazing and so are the deserts. It's a little expensive but it's worth it especially if your trying to go to a place with not as many kids as everywhere else.
(5)Katie A.
(5)C E.
Sorry.

(2)Kimberly H.
Great food, strong/tasty drinks, and a beautiful patio! My family had such a great lunch here yesterday, and we are already excited to come back!

(4)Jodi L.

Question, the photo of the garlic burger, looks like the meat patty is one of those frozen preformed patties.....are they?

(5)Brandon F.
Twigs is great! Every time we have gone, we have been very pleased with the food. Fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, with lots of unique flavors. The only aspect of their business that needs a little improvement is their service but it is still a top notch restaurant!

(4)Karlee K.
The Pesto Chicken was fantastic! Don't order a pizza unless you want to be disappointed... Service was excellent, quick and my water was always full. Wish they had Coke products...
(4)Charlie L.
We ate here on a Friday evening. We sat in the bar area and the weather was nice. They have doors that open up and it creates a great outdoor environment without being outside. The waitress was great, she always made sure we were being taken care of. We ate the Polynesian pizza. It was excellent. We will be back.
(5)Chris H.

(5)Danielle B.
(2)Nancy R.
Went here expecting great things. The food was really salty, and for a martini bar, they did not make a good side car martini. Won't be back...
(2)Kevin K.

(2)Cara G.
Best bison burger I've had! Comfortable, yet trendy and great service. Massive drink menu with choices beyond a cosmopolitan. Would definitely return and recommend to locals and out of towners.
(5)Lenchi J.

The calamari and an apple martini (well, 2 cuz it was happy hr) I enjoyed iT all and had to walk home ; drinks worth the $

i took my family to Twigs last night.

The polynesian pizza is AMAZING! Haven't had a bad meal here yet! Great atmosphere, great service & reasonably price.

(4)Kelli B.
(3)Alexandra F.
(1)Meagan G.
(4)Victoria P.

A rip off. Horrible.
(1)C B.
(3)Jennifer W.
Great place to eat for a date. We sat on the patio and shared amazing appetizers and a salad. They have an amazing bar and great drinks to select from..
(5)Pete G.

Excellent new restaurant to enjoy in Meridian. Excellent atmosphere and very hip. The food and service was very good! I think I will be dreaming about the drunken donuts for some to come.

Sorry.

Get to it!
