Food wasn't bad. I had the Thai Noodles. They came in a spicy peanut sauce that was pretty tasty. The good was average, the price was excellent. Unfortunately I couldn't quite get the restaurant's style. Half their menu items are Italian, the other half is Asian... It's hard to be good at either of these styles and when u try to serve both in the same restaurant, the result is often poor. To the restaurants credit, the food wasn't bad, it just wasn't that good. It's probably worth a trip to make up your own mind.

Good food for the price. Will definitely be returning to try some other promising dished.

Their Asian dishes are very dey and bland compared to how good their photos look. But their pastas are delicious.

I eat at noodle and company often. This location in particular seems extra nice and clean. The girl that took our order was more than accommodating to our requests. That is something I appreciate very much. It's Valentine's Day and they are very busy, however our food arrived quickly, it was prepared correctly and tasted great, the restaurant was clean and nice.

Dad & I tried this Noodles location for the first time. (I would have tried it a few months ago, but when hubby & I attempted to eat here about ten to ten, the doors were locked.) Dad tried the Pasta Fresca with Shrimp. This was after I asked if the Japanese Pan Noodles could be made without the "spicy" part, and they said no. He really liked his dish, and I liked it, too. I had my usual, the Pesto Cavatappi with pulled pork. It tasted great and was just the right temperature. The only trouble I encountered with it was three big pieces of the pulled pork were just fat. I'm glad I was watching as I ate. We went later than the usual lunch crowd, so the restaurant was pretty empty. Service was friendly, especially the young man who brought our food to the table. I wish I could do 3-1/2 stars, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Speaking of wishes, I wish the menu listed all the veggies that can be added to a dish just as the proteins are listed.

We always love this place. The flavors are intense, the veggies are crisp, the soda machine is da bomb. It's just a yummy experience all around. I can usually find something pretty "clean" and my hubby loves to load his up with sauce.

While the food is fresh, and of good quality. I had to deduct a star for the unfortunate lack in our order. Being vegan, we ordered extra veggies-no meat-no tofu. The bowl literally had 4 pieces of spinach on top, and the noodles were virtually dry. Would have liked more sauce, and veggies, and a healthier portion for the amount we paid. Otherwise, the girl at the front was very sweet and courteous. The girl in the back however was not as friendly.

Online ordering is simple and easy. Pickup is completely painless. When dining in, always great staff and food.

I like the med salad with dressing on the side. Service is always great and they won't take tips. It is great for kids who like the soda machine, a great way to end or start a target shopping trip in Boise.

First time here. Was welcomed at the door by friendly staff that took time to explain the menu since it was our first time. I had the Bangkok Curry & my daughter had the Steak Stroganoff. Both were very fresh & delicious. I thought the small size was going to leave me hungry but we were both completely full after we ate. Their soups, salads & sandwiches look like they would be really good too. We will be back!!!!

Honestly, I have no idea what the folks that posted one star reviews are seeing. I am so very glad that I did not look at the reviews before trying this place, it might have turned me off from a great place. Family of five ate for about $30, three kids bowls of spaghetti and meatballs (they loved it, ate every bite). Wife had the Pad Thai and said it was good, I had the spicy Thai Peanut Noodles, I added shrimp. The help was quick, food was brought the table hot and fresh. No complaints at all. We will be back for sure. Family friendly as well, plenty of high chairs and such.

The Noodles & Co menu somehow made it onto our bulletin board at work in Nampa. After days of staring at the various yummy-looking dishes I decided to give it a try. I ordered online and arrived a bit early on a Wednesday night. The entire restaurant was full. There were servers running all over the place and people waiting for 'to go' orders. According to the website, if you order online you can waltz right up to the pick up counter, bypassing the line, and grab your food. This, unfortunately, was not the case. I stood there for a few minutes watching everyone scramble to get orders out. The few people who glanced my way were in the back preparing dishes. Finally a very nice person asked if I had been helped. Apparently the online system spits out orders "in the back" so I waited for him to check it. He said the order had just come through so he was able to pull it up on the cash register in the front. I paid and he offered me a cup for a beverage while I waited. There is a great selection of teas (I had a blackberry-jasmine-green tea mixture) and a giant machine that dispenses a million different drinks. According to their website: "The Coca-Cola Freestyle® machine is now at your neighborhood Noodles & Company. Offering dozens of non-carbonated, low-calorie and caffeine-free drink options, it's flavor like you've never tasted before. Choose from favorites like Dasani®, Minute Maid® and Powerade®; - more than 100 drink possibilities in all." Considering I was early for my pickup, they got my order out fairly quickly. I chose the truffle mac and cheese, with visions of the same dish I had in NYC. Unfortunately, there was hardly any truffle flavor and the cheese used was cheddar. It didn't seem like the two went together as well as a white cheddar or a lighter cheese, although the flavor was good. The dish is supposed to come with portabella mushrooms and parmesan but I didn't see much parm and there were about 7 slices of mushroom on top of the pasta. You can add a salad on the side for a dollar more, but when I got home I realized the portion of the cucumber tomato salad (although tasty) was small. If you want more salad, I recommend ordering a full sized side. One thing I like is that the small bowls really are small. They are the perfect portion if you want pasta but don't want to go overboard with an Olive Garden-sized portion. Like any new restaurant, this one has some kinks to work out, but I will be back again.

First time, pretty busy at lunch. Wife had chicken noodle soup. It was pretty good, lots of noodles and pieces of chicken, and tasty. I had Japanese pan noodles with an added chicken breast grilled. Tasty too, veggies were crunchy and fresh. Shittake mushrooms were present, could use a few more slices though. Chicken breast was nice addition, grilled. For the price though, could be a bit bigger. Quick service. We would return.

Food was fresh, hot and tasted great! I like the fact that they have whole grain pasta as one of there choices. And that you can add a small cup of soup for $1.

The food is incredible and the menu offers a huge range of great choices. It's not exactly cheap, and some menu items are downright pricey, but I have never had a bad meal from there.

Why all the negative reviews? This place is awesome. Great staff, tasty fresh food, calories listed out on the wall clearly, lots of options, and the coolest soda machine in the Treasure Valley ;) Love it here.

Chain resturants normally have the impact on me that garlic does on a vampire. I retreat with haste at the very idea. Yet I have eaten in more chains in the six months since moving to this area than in the sixteen years combined before. I'm not kidding. Most of those experiences were woeful so I walked into Noodles & Company with low expectations. Imagine my surprise to find myself a fan! I found friendly people, efficient order and service model, good food using fresh ingredients and served at the table in real dishes, not plastic, along with fair prices. THE GREETING: My husband and I paused at the menu board. An employee welcomed us warmly to ask if this was our first visit. When we said yes, he went on, "I hope you'll let me take about 30 seconds and I'd like to explain how this works at Noodles and Company..." My knee jerk thought was "I do not need a tutorial on ordering fast food" but then I realized I was being jerk. Because this man was so engaging and as it turns out I really did find the overview useful! HOW IT WORKS IN A NUTSHELL FOR "NOODLE-NEWBIES". 1. Look at the menu board to choose your entree. The focus is noodle bowls, but there are also three or four salads, and equal number of soups and also a few sandwiches plus a flatbread. There are dozen-ish items in noodle bowl options listed with photos in rows. They are logically arranged so narrowing down to answer, "What sounds good today?" is pretty easy. Each of the vertical rows is a regional / ethnic specialty. First Row - Mediterranean / Italian. Second Row - Asia / Chinese, Thai, Japanese. Third Row - American / although with specialties on that list like Stroganoff or Spaghetti with meatballs. The top item in each row is the best seller in that specialty. Worth mentioning that all of the noodle dishes start out as vegetarian. Not to get ahead of myself because in everything is connected to everything else mode, this will lead us to steps three through five. 2. Choose large or small bowl size. The large is nearly twice as much food for only about a buck and a quarter more money. Being lighter eaters, we thought the small was swell. Being types to support the underdog, we chose from lower rows of options. Being in the mood for SE Asian flavors, we chose rice noodle dishes, one with a bit of kick from a peanut sauce and the other with a slightly sweet coconut curry. 3. Mosey to the counter to place your order with a friendly staff person. This is when you can order protein to add to your dish if you want to, from tofu to chicken, pork, beef, meatballs or shrimp to top it off. You can also decide if you want soup or side salad added to your order of noodles for a pittance extra charge. 4. Pay for your meal and notice at how little it costs. All the noodle dishes start out at the same price for small and then another for large. It is the addition of proteins that makes the price go up. A couple of the noodle bowls most typically ordered with a protein, like spaghetti and meatballs or beef stroganoff, are priced with the meat included. But you can subtract that (mushroom stroganoff anyone) with cost deducted too. 5. The friendly counter person will give you a number. Take it a table in the clean, brightly lit space (or on the patio in nice weather) and wait on one of the nice service staff to bring you your meal on real dishes with real cutlery. While you wait you can read the sign about the company's commitment to holding down waste by using dishes that can be rewashed and not end up in landfills. (Read fast, the food is quick to arrive.) I despise plastic containers and utensils in fast food places. The real deal here was a lovely surprise. 6. Tuck into those noodles and enjoy fresh flavors and veggies cooked just so for pretty-darned-good food while you think about hatl you'll order next time, since you know there will be one. And just when you thought it couldn't get better for a fast casual food model it does when you find you don't need to 'bus your own'. Ta dum! DIETS: All items have calorie counts posted and that sure does give one pause about how super diet friendly some of these dishes are while others can bust the diet bank. Also, gluten free items on menu. FUN: For entertainment, stand by the soda machine, which is also the water dispensary, and see how long it takes first timers to figure out how it works. Which won't be long as it seems the been there before timers are eager to help others learn how the cool contraption functions. Social bonding experience. SERVICE: It is worth saying that every employee here conveyed a sense they were glad we were there and they hoped we'd come back. Delightful. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: The lot is shared by a couple of other businesses, including Blaze pizza. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Accessible parking: Level in. Standard height seating. Ample aisleway

When I lived in Colorado, Noodles was a go-to for quick, good food. Now they're here in Meridian and I couldn't be happier. They got off to a bumpy start but they improved noticeably. This location is typically pretty busy but they move smoothly. If I've ever had an issue they've been more than helpful in rectifying it promptly. Love the Mac & Cheese. Fresh, fast, and tasty. We need more restaurants like this.

I came here for the first time, had the tomato basil bisque which was excellent, full of flavors just the way I like it. My second dish was the Bangkok Curry which had nice flavors but wasn't a curry but still good. If it was a curry I would have given 5 stars.

Disappointing first visit. My Phad Thai was overlooked, eggs and veggies were burnt to a crisp, as was the tofu, which was inedible. The soups were served only lukewarm. The Mac and cheese was tasteless. When I asked if the tofu was usually cooked that way, she answered, no, it's usually cooked with the noodles. Then why did you serve it as charcoal when you knew it wasn't done right? At least they gave me my $$ back.

I've always enjoyed Noodles and Co and was anxious for this location to open near us...It's been on my calendar since the Nov. b'day of a friend.. a promise to take her there (belatedly) to celebrate. Arrived shortly after noon and the place was packed - very hot, noisy, and tables tightly arranged..We decided to share a salad and a pasta dish.. We were asked our preference of feta or parm for the salad.. Specified parm and the dish came with feta.. Spanking new fangled soda dispenser that is all touch automated... Line built for drinks because it is so unusual.. Chances of returning anytime soon.. slim..

Have given this place a try a few times and it is not getting better. Tried giving them the benfit of the doubt for being new in town, but the quality and taste is more than lacking. Pad Thai has no taste and is beyond dry. Pork is very dry and tastes of nothing beyond the excess black pepper. Disappointed and frustrated. Done with this place. It's the epitome of a "chain restaurant". Nothing special and they are many other place to eat in town to grab some GREAT noodle dishes. Also, they employees do not wear hait nets or gloves when preparing food. I witnessed the gal cooking playting with her hair, then use those same hands to grab up the ingredients to make food for people! Gross!!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
