Just had the tri-tip breakfast burrito and it was the best breakfast I have ever had. When you order a diet coke they bring you a big pitcher so you never run out. So good. They also have a great kids menu. My son absolutely devoured the chocolate chip pancakes. I wish I would have found it sooner.

Great selections for the gluten free seekers. I had the Desperado and my daughter had the stuffed French Toast. Both are excellent choices. A friendly and helpful staff and a very clean and bright environment make Le Peep 5 star worthy!

Great food. Blueberry pancakes were awesome. The atmosphere is very light because of all the enormous windows. It's also easy to carry on a conversation, the accustics are good. If you like good breakfasts go here.

Great service and food! Last time I was here (several months ago) the service was poor and the food slow. My waiter this time was efficient, courteous and stopped by just the right amount to check on me. Thanks Juan! -A lot more male servers this time. They were all very friendly, well groomed, classy and efficient. I had the White Lightening egg white omelet. Amazing, not greasy, with a nice salsa side. And food came out with good speed. Plating was appealing, and portions were more than I could down. Only improvement I could say is very loud inside. Everyones conversation echoes. I would come again. I am re-converted. :)

I ate here when they first opened and was a victim of their over salted cottage potatoes. That was enough to keep me away until recently. What is that.? Two years? I may not be Italian, but I can hold a grudge with the best of them. Anyway, was lured back in by my wife and must say I was pleasantly surprised. The place is always clean with smiling servers. Widely spaced regular height tables means easy access to anyone. You might want to think twice about weekends, really crowded. It's popularity seems high. Weekdays are much calmer. Outside dining is available weather permitting. But, we are not much for road noise, brake dust, and gawkers, so we usually opt for inside dining. This is a breakfast-lunch place, I assume everyone knows. First, the food is straight forward and tasty. The cottage potatoes are still too salty for me. But they have a great solution, for me at least, shredded hash browns. They are not mentioned on the menu, but they have them. So an order of crispy, shredded hash browns, no salt, and I don't go postal. This is also one place I have found to have an acceptable chicken fried steak that is not too greasy and will let me have the gravy on the side. Also not too big or too small and for $8.99 with two eggs, hash browns, and toast, that is a bargain. Their waffles, however, need to be done a bit longer, for crispy. Also, their fresh fruit for sides, is not up to the quality of Moe Joe's. Ask for the dark coffee, if you like that strength. They leave a caraf on the table, so you can caffeinate to your own state of nirvana. Nicely located, near Rosaeuer's Market, the ID Credit Union, and the NW Pets Store, it is convenience central for us.

Traditional and contemporary breakfast and brunch favorites draw the masses into this Meridian breakfast joint, where the wonderful American eats feature interesting, gourmet twists. The corner strip mall location is large, and it's typically crowded on weekends, but lines are not long, and the attentive staff works fast.

Always wanted to test this place out but was always too late sincetheyonlydo breakfast and lunch. Decided to have breakfast before work today. I got a pitcher of (assume ) filtered ice water, that's nice instead of the chlorinated water you usually get. I had a late and the Rock Lobster Scrambler, both excellent choices. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and a side of perfect fried potatoes, not too greasy. I'll be back :)

Excellent breakfast. We were seated promptly within a few minutes on a busy weekend. Tables were spread out so nicely, it didn't feel cramped liked most restaurants. I tried the Chicken Fried Steak and it was the best I have had in a while. My wife had the Breakfast Burrito and she liked it as well. Prices were good, service was excellent. We will definitely be back to try other things.

We are just traveling through and decided to get breakfast here because our hotel did not offer breakfast. The food was just okay. Kids had ENORMOUS chocolate chip pancakes (a little over cooked) and my husband and I had Colorado omelets (not terrible, not amazing....a little dry.) The service was good and the restaurant is very clean.

Great breakfast bistro. Service with Jess, Kim, Lindsay and heather is always good. This is my first day eating gluten after 3 years being gluten free. Opened a whole range of menu items

Normally I don't do a review on a Restaurant on only one visit! But I will make an exception for this place. It's dialed in! The restaurant spotless and clutter free! This might sound weird but I really like the art work on the walls. The service was calming. Everyone freindly and very happy to give recommendations on what to try. I really like it when a waitress says things like "my favorite thing to eat here is" or " you must try this it's so good". If your looking for a greasy spoon this is not the place. This is more quality than quantity. My breakfast was very good. I wanted to try something a bit different so I went with the Eggs Benedict which was highly recommended. Normally not a huge fan of hollandaise sauce because of other bad experiences. But I will tell you it's the best I've ever had and would put it on everything! I would order it as a soup it's that good! The only complaint would be I could of eaten a bit more... But my wife says I need to cut back some anyway so it was perfect! This is a awesome new restaurant that I recommend to everyone!

Sunday breakfast with my girls :) A "lite" omelette big enough to feed two. Biscuits and gravy. Nothing makes me forget the 8 mile run I just took and the yard work awaiting me like a good breakfast. Le Peep is consistent, the service is always great and the food is delicious. What more can you ask for?

This just became my go-to breakfast spot in the valley. Truly. First bit of fabulousness: Upon being seated, I ordered coffee. To which, my server responded, "Sure...we have a house roast, dark roast, or a vanilla flavored?" Are you kidding me? A breakfast place with coffee OPTIONS? And, one of those options is DARK roast? Color me caffeinated. I promptly ordered their dark roast which came poured out of a carafe left at the table. Plus, they have flavored creamer (bonus!). This was definitely not your usual (awful) diner coffee. It was dark and delicious. Fortunately, my dining companions were familiar with the menu and HIGHLY recommended the Salmon Eggs Benedict. Always a fan of anything including hollandaise sauce--I went for it. My people! Perfection. Here's the thing, when you smother something in hollandaise, you can easily be lazy in the preparation of what comes UNDERNEATH the hollandaise. I mean, it's going to be smothered in all that lovely, buttery deliciousness--who will notice? I will notice, people. I will. And, there was definitely nothing lackadaisical about the preparation of this dish. The salmon, even without the hollandaise, was moist and flavorful. The eggs were perfectly, beautifully, delicately poached. It was the single best Salmon Benedict I've ever consumed (possibly the best Eggs Benedict in general!). The Benedict came with a side of home fried potatoes, which had a light peppery flavor that I quite enjoyed. The service was spot on--prompt, attentive, and friendly. One final note I have is the menu: The menu is expansive. If you have family and/or friends in town with diverse tastes--this is a wonderful option for breakfast. They have all your classic selections covered (bacon & eggs, chicken fried steak, various scrambles). They have the sweet (pancakes, stuffed french toast, waffles, crepes). And, they've got your savory (An entire list of various Benedicts, skillets, and classic to creative omelets). I can't imagine anyone NOT finding something they'd enjoy. Plus, I was informed they have an entire gluten free menu. Not merely the slight modification of items on their regular menu--but an entire menu of creative gluten free options. Get to it!

I have eaten here on several occasions and have consistently had the same quality of food and service. First off...everyone is always so friendly and accommodating. Two thumbs up for the family that owns this business. Every time I have come, the husband is happily running the front end while his wife ( the owner) is taking care of the back of the house. Big props for the truly expansive gluten free menu. It is honestly one of the only places in town that I feel there is actual, real options to choose from and not a list of items off the main menu with half the ingredients omitted. I have been here at breakfast and lunch and both were great. The gf hamburger comes on this tasty flatbread served open face. A breathe of fresh air from the usual thick bready buns most serve. My favorite breakfast option is the 18 wheeler. Eggs, your choice of meat (ie bacon, sausage) and two slices of gf french bread. The french bread is oh so good!! They also have a great kids menu with reasonable serving sizes and prices. Tips: They get super busy on weekends, so expect a wait if you arrive at prime breakfast time. They have a punch card. Ten punches, $10 off your meal Check in for a free coffee!!
(5)Caroline T.
Had a bad first experience despite the positive reviews. Pros: They had three different coffee roasts to choose from, the staff was friendly, the food was hot, and the prices on the menu were very reasonable. Also, they had a big screen TV playing NFL which was great! Cons: They made us wait for a table for ten minutes even though there were at least 4 tables open within eyesight (not sure if this was some policy or another reason they did this), the skillet I ordered was pretty decent tasting but consisted of about 40% broccoli which seemed like an odd food to include in a breakfast skillet, we never received drinking water, and I was hoping to get some coffee creamer (because I saw the awesome selection they had at various other tables) but the waitress was too busy. I will say that this place was packed during the time I visited and that excuses a bit of the lack of service, but as for the food, not good enough to return for me.
(2)April N.
Decided to give Le Peep another chance and had a much better encounter than before. Our server provided excellent, friendly service and the food was first rate. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal today. Thanks for the super breakfast and much better experience!
(4)Cole S.
Eaten here several times. Every time the food and service is spot on. The owner is often there to offer a greeting or take you to your table. Their scrambles and breakfast burritos are great. A regular breakfast and lunch spot for my family.
(5)Rachel Z.
Review update! What a difference a few months makes ! The place was packed on a Saturday morning. The hostesses did a great job, we only had about a ten minute wait for our table, and when seated we were greeted by our waiter and offered drinks promptly! Yay!! Much better! Whole experience went smooth this time. Our waiter was friendly and on point, food came out warm, correct, and all at the same time. All 5 of us each ordered an 18 wheeler(awesome deal for $9ish bucks) and ate it with no complaints! Love their regular French toast. We all had a pleasant time and were in and out in about an hour :) Good job Le Peep :)

We had a late start to our Saturday morning breakfast outing and our usual restaurant was unusually busy. Rather than waiting in line we chose to explore a new restaurant. For the past several months we have driven by Le Peep and agreed that we should try it some time. Today was the day. Upon arrival we were quickly seated. The coffee was good, I like that they delivered a small coffee pot to the table. I choose the Homestead breakfast (two biscuits with sausage gravy covered with chives, two eggs, and their diced potatoes). My wife chose the bacon breakfast burrito (A flour tortilla, filled with bacon, along with two eggs, onions, green chilies, refried beans and potatoes. Topped with their homemade pork green chili, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream and chives.) the food arrived quickly. Upon arrival my order was incorrect. The waiter quickly resolved the issue. Overall, I rate my food a 1 out of a 5. The sausage gravy tasted like slimy flour with hardly any sausage in it. The consistency of it was not appetizing, nor was the flavor. The biscuits were doughy. They could have been cooked a little longer. The diced potatoes were very disappointing. They tasted like they were over-boiled, they had no flavor and no seasoning. I think they were boiled then fired (which should have made them brown, crisp and delicious), but they weren't fried long enough, I guess. The eggs over-medium were good. I ate about a third of the meal and couldn't finish... not because I was full. My wife's breakfast burrito was decent. She commented on the lack of flavor of the same potatoes in her burrito. She ate about half and was full. The waiter noticed that I didn't finish and I politely said it wasn't very flavorful. He called the manager over and I asked them not to go to any trouble. They removed the $3.00 (4oz) orange juice to make up for the dissatisfaction, which we thanked them. Then I noticed we were charged for 2 coffees. The gal at the cash register quickly resolved that issue. Overall, the food was less than marginal tasting. I had much higher expectations for breakfast food. It was really a waste of $23.00 and I left still hungry.

In all fairness to new restaurants just starting out, we gave Le Peep a 2nd shot after a blah first attempt... and sadly, we were even more disappointed this time. 1st attempt: Breakfast burrito was filled with badly undercooked potatoes and flavorless chunks of meat. Coffee was bad and service was super slow. 2nd attempt: faster service, better coffee, and then... an order of crepes arrived at our table with a long black (they are always black, aren't they? Never red, never blonde) hair curled on top of the hollandaise sauce (the server didn't notice?!?). The kicker: we didn't order crepes with hollandaise. (Or hair for that matter.) The server seemed super unapologetic (and almost as if he wasn't surprised that he put the order in wrong) but he got the right order brought out quickly. The "right" order, however, had: 1) potatoes that were again badly undercooked, 2) bacon and omelette fillings that are all very obviously pre-processed and not fresh tasting at all, and 3) burnt toast with no butter. There are a lot of above average breakfast places in the area, and we will give them our business instead of visiting Le Peep again. From the otherwise oddly good reviews, I'm sure we won't be missed.
(2)Doug T.
Free wifi and ammex big tables. Pretty solid breakfast joint in the middle of a Boise Idaho strip mall. Had the breakfast burrito.. I was like having a small ocean container on a plate. great flavoring. The place wasn't too crowded on a weekday and the staff was happy to let us linger around and finish up some e-mails
(4)Jerold D.
Pros: Many options to choose from Bright, clean & open made for a nice atmosphere The service was great. I like how they leave a carafe of water & a thermos of coffee on the table to refill at your own pace Dark roast coffee was delicious Bacon was great! Flavor, texture & thickness were all perfect Potatoes were flavorful, despite the way I thought they'd taste based on appearance They take the time to present the food in a nice way. Some places, especially breakfast, seem to just "throw" it on the plate & it looks sloppy. This extra attention to detail show me they take pride in their job & food Prices were standard for breakfast, but better quality & generous portions made it a great deal I look forward to returning & trying other dishes!
(5)Dave C.
Good was good but poor service. Didn't get my drink till well after meal and I had to remind them. Meal took forever.
(3)Robert B.
There are plenty other options for breakfast in the area. Disappointed by frozen potatoes that are the same as in a hotel chain who simply reheat them. Nothing great or special about this place other than it was close and didn't want to drive to something better.
(2)Dustin K.
Service: above-average compared to other breakfast places in the valley. Food: also above average compared to other similar restaurants. The house potatoes are surprisingly good. Chicken fried steak is delicious. Also try the Eggs Ben. Price: very reasonable for the food. Most items are 7-10 bucks. Beverages are a little expensive. Worth the visit, especially if you live in west Boise or meridian!

Best Breakfast or lunch in town! I love the 18 Wheeler combo for breakfast! Makes for a good weekend! Service is always fast and polite. This is our go to breakfast place almost every Saturday!
(5)D C.
Can't make french toast to save their life! They don't soak the bread long enough in the egg mixture. It was dry inside, they flipped the bread in the egg mixture and then put it on the griddle and it seems like they poured egg mixture over the bread while on the griddle. As it had huge crusty egg runoff edges that made it even more unappealing. Bounding overwatch micromanagement from what appeared to the stern faced female owner. Instead of quality control and coming around to each table to see how meals were and welcoming guests she ran around without purpose. Additionally when I went to the cashier stand the owner just stared at me and did not even speak to me, to inquire about my meal, or even to say have a nice day. Coffee was not very good, bitter and weak. Way too expensive. Perhaps if you at least we're served real cream with it I could accept the Starbucks price (at least at Starbucks I'm not getting shelf stable "creamer" like I did here)

I tried this place based on the reviews of some people that I know. These people were very impressed with this place. I have seen La Peep for a while now. But I never bothered to try it because of the name. I thought it was some sort of French place I have have very bad experiences with French places in the past. So this put me off right away. Coming here, I now know this is not french. Though the design might give one a slight nod toward something French. Clean Lines and more of a modern design. I guess it was the La part in La Peep. It just made be think French. Now that I have been there, I am guessing that they are fans of baby chicks that go Peep Peep. I am not sure, but lets move on. From the outside, this place looks really great. Once my family and I were inside, well, its odd looking. There is a long and large counter at the front by the door. It reminded me of a desk used in a hotel for a concierge service. At the other end of the inside is a bar with bar stools. I found the decor and lay out very confusing as to what they had in mind when they built the place. Everyone has a different opinion on how design should be, so I neither gave marks, nor took them away on account of this Ok, now on with the food. My daughter is a very picky eater. I suppose to some extent I still am. My 10 year old daughter ordered a fried egg cooked hard, or well. The waitress even repeated this for us. "So you dont want any runny yolks so you can eat from it?" To which my daughter wrinkled up her nose and cringed. We assured the waitress that we did not want a runny yolk. We wanted it cooked well so the yolk was hard. When it came out, the yolk was runny. We did not want to make a scene in a crowded restaurant, so my daughter just left the egg alone. After the meal, when it was time for the check, the waitress even acknowledged the the egg was cooked wrong. But she did not apologize for this or take it off our check. I ordered the breakfast Chicken Fried Steak. It came with eggs and home style potatoes. Now being from Texas, I crave a good chicken fried steak. I have not had one here in idaho yet. The steak was pretty typical of what I would expect in Idaho. It was tender, which was a plus. And I did enjoy it was what it was. The gravy was good. But the steak was not crispy at all. If I were to judge it based on what I expect a real Texas Chicken Fried Steak to be, I would give it a 2 on a 1-10 scale. If I were to judge this based on the version of Chicken Fried Steak that I expect to find here in the north, Id give it a 5 out of 10. Next came the eggs, which I got scrambled. This is my 1st big rant. It seems that every single breakfast place here in Idaho has no clue how to make scrambled eggs. What they do is put eggs in a skillet. They do not attempt to actually scramble them, which requires beating them with a frenzy with milk and maybe some seasonings. They let the eggs cook never even bothering to stir them. When the eggs are done cooking, they have the consistency of a thick Omelet. They take out the eggs from the skillet and start cutting them up. What we get a a cut up omelet instead and scrambled eggs. To cook proper good fluffy scrambled eggs takes some knowledge ,but its not rocket science. You take eggs, mix with Milk or half and half (Almost a 50/50 ratio) and beat em. Then cook em up. Thats it. Unfortunately I have yet to find scrambled eggs like this anywhere in town. So for breakfast of good ole Fluffy Scrambled Eggs, I go to Che Phillip's. The eggs tasted and felt like rubber and had no flavor at all. Then came the special Pumpkin Pancake. It was overcooked and dry. It did not even have a good strong taste of pumpkin. The final straw for me was what they called their special home-style potatoes. The potatoes tasted like they had been left under a meat lamp way too long. They were tough and didnt have much flavor either. I cant recall what my wife had, but the fact that she had nothing to say at all about it tells me that it was also unremarkable. We wont be back

My favorite breakfast place in the Treasure Valley. My kids absolutely love it too. Thank you for providing a delicious gluten free menu and the coffee is good too.
(5)Tea S.
Went here for my birthday with my Mom! Our servers were very kind and knowledgeable about gluten-free menu items. The food we ordered was cooked perfectly and came out quickly. Lovely atmosphere, great coffee, and overall a wonderful visit! We told our waitress that it was my birthday and she came out a few minutes later with a freshly baked, warm, strawberry, icing, and whipped cream-covered cake! So nice of them to do that! I also liked that they have bottomless coffee and give you a pitcher of water for your table! Will definitely be visiting again!
(5)Ed L.
Breakfast at Le Peeps was a pleasant surprise. The food was good and they have a gluten-free menu (huge plus). The whole family enjoyed what they ordered. It's a newer place, spacious, inviting, and they have wonderful, local landscape photography on the walls. It's a place were you can feel comfortable taking your out-of-town guests for breakfast because the menu is extensive enough to satisfy just about anyone. The vibe: modern.
(4)Lisa J.
As promised, we stopped by for an early lunch again today. I ordered the chicken fried steak. So delicious! The steak had a nice crunchy outside without too much batter. The gravy was not as salty as most places and was a touch on the sweet side. I didn't care for the green onions on top, as it altered the taste of the gravy, but there were only a few pieces so I just moved them to the side. Their hashbrowns were crispy and thin, but still plenty. The portions were smaller than some places, but I still managed to give half of the chicken fried steak to my kids to try out. They loved it as well. It also came with a nice sourdough bread that was not your usual thin piece of toast, but a thicker one, which was perfect for dunking into my sunny side up eggs. My daughter had a turkey avocado pita wrap which she thoroughly enjoyed, but said her favorite part was their fries! Their fries must be lightly battered, because it had a nice crunchy coating on the outside. No soggy fries here! My son ordered the bacon cheese burger with the brioche bun. Looked great - but he wouldn't share, so I'm assuming it was delicious as well. I also love going to Steve's Café - they're equally great, but I think Steve's hashbrowns are the best! So happy to see some great breakfast options so close to home and food that is home made, not just heated up!
(5)Keith B.
This was our first time at Le Peep. We loved it! I had the Wanderer skillet, my wife had the Taco's duo, and my kids had the Plaincakes with chocolate chips. Everything was awesome. Way better than I expected we'll be back for sure.
(5)Doug D.
Nice franchise restaurant that has a long tenure prior to arriving in Meridian. Good choice on the franchisee part. The food and service was very good. Diversified menu with quality ingredients. I know everyone in Boise always says they love local restaurants but they really vote with their feet and end up a chain restaurants because they are consistent. I like joe momma but they argue with their customers. Steve's cafe down the street boast of game meat but can't properly execute basic bacon and eggs. This one will be a winner!
(4)Jim P.
The best breakfast in Boise. I travel to Boise frequently and have been looking for a go to place with all of the usual items (plus a few more) and reasonable prices. With the opening of Le Peep I have finally found it. Great omelet cooked perfectly (not easy to do with an egg white omelet) and fluffy pancakes. I have not tried everything, but I will be back. Thanks for opening in Boise.
(5)Michelle T.
Came here for the first time last week with my mother in-law and husband. We got a table right away, drinks started and food ordered. Good was fresh and delicious. Service was great. Owner/manager did a table touch to check in with us. Will definitely come back!
(5)Kurt S.
Daughter had Gooey Buns, they were burnt, she scraped off the almonds. I had the Country Benedict and was severely disappointed. The description in the menu sounded delicious, but it was far from that. Ham was lacking, just a few tiny cubes of ham, not the "country ham" in the menu. Hollandaise sauce was weak, not creamy. Steve's and Express Cafe just down the street are far better. And expensive. Service was okay. Nice location, atmosphere. Didn't realize this is a chain/franchise. My wife and a friend went at another time and had a similar poor experience (breakfast tacos). I will give it one more try, hoping they are just working out the kinks being a new restaurant.
(2)Sara C.
Seriously love this place, I love the food, I love the attention to detail, I love the whole pot of coffee they bring you to your table, I love the staff, love how reasonable the prices are and how generous the portions are... LOVE LOVE LOVE Le peep
(5)Lana V.
I had to bring my brother to this place, one more time before we left. Omg! Everyone get the Vegetarian Benedict. So amazing!!! I wish this place was in LA. Perfect amount of class without the trendy hipster stuff that I'm forced to suffer. I love the staff, just as friendly and lovely as the first time.
(5)Valerie D.
This place is really great. Jessica was our server. She was absolutely fabulous. Great gluten-free menu.
(5)Chazrles D.
Had breakfast there last week. What a treat. Best breakfast I have had in a long time. The service was unmatched. I definitely will eat there again.
(5)Katie R.
Absolutely wonderful experience! The owners are super nice and friendly, the waitresses were also very helpful and friendly. Everyone was smiling and having a good time, the food was bomb! I would totally recommend the Blueberry and oats pancake, the flavors all come together really well and the oats have a cinnamon taste to them! The second I walked in, you could just tell it was very high spirited and a welcoming place to be, definitely worth it to come down and check it out! I know I will be coming back as well
(5)Christine W.
Not your typical breakfast/brunch/lunch fare that you get in the rest of Boise - friendly, attentive staff and love that the coffee pots are left on the table. Well worth the stop :)
(5)Charles F.
Finally had a chance to see what was all fuss about lLe Peep. We went this past Friday for breakfast. The owners? were outside talking to vendors and did not even take a moment to say hello, ( I knew this was not going to go well for a restaurant that already had reviews of outstanding service ). We walked inside. It was neat, clean, updated motif. We stood there wondering if we should seat ourselves or wait. Several employees walked past us and didn't acknowledge us. Finally, the girl from the counter sat us. We commented to each other about the uniforms. There are several colors. Bright Pink, Green, and Blue and it is not clear why who wears what color and their role? It was clear that there is no uniform standard. Only one shirt was tucked in, there were no slip resistant shoes being worn, and the chewing gum and jewelry standard was non-existent. So moving on to the menu. Fairly good offering of breakfast and lunch. They claim a lot of the dishes are homemade and are created with care. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the tostada tango. The burrito choice of meat was chorizo. For those who don't know chorizo is a Mexican spicy sausage. There was some confusion with the wait staff as to who's table we belonged to and another table received another tablets order. The dinning room had six tables occupied with two guys at the counter. The food came and the presentation of the tostadas were beautiful. The salsa appeared to be homemade due to it being warm, but the salsas were from a can simply warmed and not freshly prepared. The burrito is huge. It is really a meal for two people. It is filled with lots of eggs and potatoes. Strangely, there was no chorizo. The sauce that the burrito is swimming in a pork green sauce. Good favor, but way too much and specially since it's not clear if the chorizo is the pork sauce or it's something else entirely. See pictures. For two people, 20 bucks, and that with both of us drinking water and sharing a 6oz freshly squeezed OJ. If Le Peep is know for it's service it called in sick when we were there. I may try the lunch to see if there's a different vibe, but Le Peep is not that savior of a breakfast / Lunch place that Meridian has been waiting for. Don't be fooled by the reviews. Check out their website. Anyone can be a franchisee. They have a 7 week course for training. Maybe a little more time spent on service and standard operating procedures won't hurt. Finally, check out the place yourself. With any restaurant, don't get caught in the aura. Check the floors and the edges and measure that with how the employees present themselves to the food on the table. All of it should be consistent. This chicken is crossing the road.

Fantastic food and service always! ! We have been there multiple times and love everything we have tried and the staff is always friendly.
(5)Michael M.
First time here, man, I could eat Monti Cristo Crepes daily!! Outstanding, food and service. Can't wait to go back
(5)A Y.
There are lots of fanciful names for simple classic breakfasts. They do however have some more "progressive" options like turkey sausage. My experience was very average but not bad. Our waiter was a bit impatient but ultimately accommodating.
(3)Jared N.
Disgusting breakfast burrito, by far the worst I have had in town. There was a 30 minute wait to get in, not sure why. I won't be back.

Le Peep is le poop. By far NOT the self-proclaimed "The Best Breakfast Food In the World"...(again, self-proclaimed, because you won't hear anyone else saying it). You would be better off traveling an extra mike or two and go to Moe Joe's (the best breakfast), or Steve's Cafe (2nd best) or Joe Mommas. Don't waste your time at Le Poop! I gave this place 3 tries. I, like a previous poster, was met with total apathy from the management. First try: Ordered: 2 eggs scrambled, bacon and hashbrowns. Received:The eggs were watery, the bacon burnt, and the hashbrowns were pasty-white. Management comment: "We are still new and trying to get the hiccups out. Order the hashbrowns crispy if you want the browned." Second try:Ordered: 2 eggs over easy (can't mess up, right? No water to mix in), corned beef hash, and "crispy" potatoes. Received: 2 eggs over well, blackened corned beef hash from a can, and potatoes so over-cooked you couldn't stab them with a fork. I called the waitress over to look at the meal. She took the plate back, and returned with 2 eggs over medium...and the rest of the food still there (now cold). She only replaced the eggs! Management comment: "The potatoes are frozen and deep fried, so if you order them crispy they come out inedible. Next time order the hashbrowns.". Nothing about the corned beef or the eggs. Third try (only because a friend wanted to go): Ordered: the crepes special with fresh fruit. (can't go wrong here, right? No eggs, no potatoes, no meat to burn) Received: warmed pre-packaged crepe with spinach, brocolli and mushrooms, and hollandaise on the side. Where was the fresh fruit? Wasn't it supposed to have fresh strawberries inside with a dusting of powdered sugar? Server: Oh, that was yesterday's special, I guess. (no offer of something else. aka: suck it up) Management comment:" Many people love our crepes. I guess you are too picky: In synopsis: The food is mostly FROZEN,CANNED or pre-packaged. NOT FRESH ingredients!

Went on a Saturday morning for a spot of Late breakfast. The place was marginally busy, we were seated straight away. Our waitress took about five minutes to show up for our drink order, straight black coffees please. Three minutes later we were placing our order for food. Then we waited, and waited. And waited... Oh here comes our food! But wait, where's the coffee we ordered over half an hour ago? Nope not anywhere to be seen. Huh... Ok wait here it is finally. All in all the food was ok for a breakfast meal. Kinda hard to screw up breakfast right? Service was terribly slow and discombobulated. Take your own coffee if you are hankering for some.

This is my new favorite for breakfast! The Monte Cristo Crepes are Ahhh-Mazing! My husband said that his Eggs Benedict was one of the best he's ever had! Love the service and the restaurant atmosphere as well!
(5)Hoyt H.
Had high hopes for an "around the corner, you can walk to" breakfast place. The food turned out to be a big disappointment. Two day old, out of the refrigerator-cold bacon, and stale potatoes. Prices would be acceptable if the food was better. Wait staff was pleasant. Hostess needs an attitude adjustment. Hopefully, we just hit them on a bad day.

Our family had our first experience with LePeep's restaurant. We arrived at noon on Sunday and had a short 5 minute wait until we were seated. We were greeted by Jeff Hall, one of the managing partners, as we were seated, nice guy and nice touch. My wife had the breakfast burrito, which was huge. She expected to take half of it home but it was just too good, we helped her finish it off. I had the Tostada Tango. It was crisp, fresh and hit the spot. My daughter had the Taco Duo. She ate hers but wish she had ordered the burrito. As we were having our lunch we saw several customers eating their cinnamon rolls that look fabulous. We had one for desert and it tasted as good as it looked. We're now big fans of LaPeep, great experience !!
(5)Adam C.
Seriously some of the best breakfast in Meridian. The breakfast burritto is huge for even a guy. The banana walnut pancake is delicious and huge. Not a greasy spoon place. Very clean and nice.
(5)Deanna S.
Great food and friendly service. I will definitely be back. Menu variety is great. I had the Monte Cristo crepes, absolutely amazing
(5)Steve E.
Great breakfast choice this Saturday morning! Service was great and a nice addition to the valley!
(5)David W.
The menu is very big and the food is awesome! My wife and I have found are new breakfast place in town! It is a must try the biscuits and gray are the best in town.
(5)Kent M.
My wife and I stopped in for breakfast for the first time. The service was outstanding (thanks Jess) and the dark roast coffee was the way I like it. I had the stuffed french toast and my wife had the Roma skillet. Both were great. We'll definitely be back...even with all the other great breakfast joints we now have. Welcome to Meridian Le Peep!
(5)George S.
Visited at breakfast time and liked having the coffee pot at the table. Have eaten at the Plano, Tx location also. LePeep is consistently fresh and offers a broad range of menu options. Will definitely be back again.
(5)Beauford W.
Not bad. Little over-priced. I was expecting Frech cuisine. I got traditional American breakfast. The carpet does not match the drapes when you consider the name. I might go back if I was scheduled for a business breakfast. Otherwise I say mehhhhhhh.
(3)L.2 K.
I know they just opened, but they did such a fabulous job on my order. Food was fresh, hot and rather fast coming out. I had one of their skillets and it was so tasty. I will be coming back again for sure.
(5)Zandrea N.
Everything my family had was delicious. We has the eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, hen house, and the breakfast burrito. Coffee was also fresh and great flavor. The burrito was huge! I had it with chicken and it was delicious! You get your money's worth here. Breakfast done well. Now one of my favorite breakfast joints!
(5)Mark B.
Friendly staff and great pancakes!

We tried this place for the first time last week and were much impressed. We tried the typical fare of eggs basted with a side of corned beef hash plus an order of crepes stuffed with ricotta and blueberry compote. For a hot beverage we went with a pot of the house roast coffee. All of the food was excellent, the service was prompt and helpful, and since we were fairly early it was not crowded. The interior is pleasant, simple with concrete floors, and minimal décor. What I also find appealing is that the entryway is enclosed, so that one is shielded from extreme temperatures. I did notice a bench or two there so that if there is a wait it can be a comfortable one. Another couple of perks on the menu---fresh orange juice and specialty coffees. A keeper and a place we will probably frequent!
(5)Jason D.
Excited to have a great new breakfast spot in Boise! Le Peep raises the bar and distinguishes itself from the usual diners or bland chains. We really enjoyed the fresh fare, upscale menu and great service! The salmon benedict was incredible - delicious and a huge salmon portion for the very reasonable price point. We'll be back soon.
(5)Darla C.
great food and atmosphere is excellent..the hours for business however are not..closed by 2 makes it hard for the working class to get there for lunch
(3)Sandy H.
The food is awesome and priced just right and the best coffee in the Treasure Valley. The service is great too.
(5)Jeff Y.
Excellent service, delicious food, hearty portions and a pleasing environment... This place has it all. I took my two kids (5 and 12) for breakfast and they both gobbled up their meals! The smiley face pancake my 5 year old ordered put a huge smile on her face and the chocolate chip pancakes for my 12 year old were perfect! My eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection. The food came out quickly and the staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Will definitely be going back and recommending LePeep to all my friends and family. Thanks LePeep.
(5)Gary H.
We are always on the hunt for a great breakfast place that has a friendly staff and great food. Skillets and omelets are usually our go to choices and set our high water mark. All three were great. Beyond that and what truly impressed us is the most was the extensive gluten free breakfast menu We've ever seen, including French toast. We have a son that has celiac's, so choices are always appreciated. Finally The gluten free options are very high quality including taste and texture, thank you, thank you!
(4)Sean A.
Great service, quality food! Surprised at how affordable the menu is. A lot of other breakfast spots in the valley are so expensive. I ate the pancakes and eggs and they were some of the best pancakes I've had in town. Definitely will come back!
(5)Tina M.
Enjoyable new dining with nice fresh ingredients. Dishes seem to be a bit of a different take on traditional breakfast dishes so if you want the same old eggs and potatoes may not be the place for you. We found it to be a nice change from the run of mill dishes, same things served with some imagination. Staff was very nice, place is very clean and service was good. They are very new and working out small issues, be a bit patient and kind, food is really tasty. Prices are in line with many other places, although I thought coffee was pricey!
(5)Mike S.
Good food! Great service! Friendly and very personable staff. Jessica was great! We really had a great experience !
(5)Chris H.
(5)Michael T.
(5)Ophelia M.
Get to it!

This place is really great. Jessica was our server. She was absolutely fabulous. Great gluten-free menu.

(3)Andrew P.
(5)William W.
Great selections for the gluten free seekers. I had the Desperado and my daughter had the stuffed French Toast. Both are excellent choices. A friendly and helpful staff and a very clean and bright environment make Le Peep 5 star worthy!
(5)S H.
Great food. Blueberry pancakes were awesome. The atmosphere is very light because of all the enormous windows. It's also easy to carry on a conversation, the accustics are good. If you like good breakfasts go here.
(5)Dave C.

(4)David L.
(3)Roland H.
(5)Lino R.
(4)Melissa K.
(4)Jennifer L.
(3)Gary G.
Great breakfast bistro. Service with Jess, Kim, Lindsay and heather is always good. This is my first day eating gluten after 3 years being gluten free. Opened a whole range of menu items
(5)R H.

Went this am with the family...very inviting staff, clean interior (yes I know it's brand new but still) and plenty of space for seating. Staff was very attentive and took drink orders within a few minutes of sitting down. Bfast orders were a few minutes after that. We ordered a variety if items...mostly your standard bfast fare. All of the food came out within 15 mins prolly. Everything was well executed, fresh and hot! Huge portions as well...don't think any of us actually finished but would have if we wanted to be totally stuffed! Bfast for 4 was ~$40...we will definitely be back and will probably have this at the top of our weekend bfast spots!

(4)Brad T.
I left this place really excited knowing that there is another great place to get a good breakfast where it seems that they care about putting quality food on your table.
(5)Amy H.
Wow!! My friend chose this place for me to take her for her birthday lunch. I am new in town, so she wanted to show me the best of our area & boy was she right! I cant wait to go back with my daughter so she can partake in this culinary excellence! Well done!!
(5)Lindsey R.
Good breakfast with good service. Love that they put a carafe of coffee on the table. The wait was less than they promised.
(4)Rich L.
We met the YELP breakfast club here today and this was my first time at La Peep. The positives were the eggs and trout Benedict that I had were cooked to perfection, we're hot and tasty. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and just right. The coffee and my wife's mimosa were just right too. Our server Lindsey was attentive but not overbearing, nice job! The not so good were the potatoes even though they were tasty, we're soggy. Maybe it's just my taste but I like crispy taters! Darn sometimes I really miss those Waffle House hashbrowns, if y'all are from the south you know what I mean!! Overall it was a nice experience. Food and beverages came to $38 plus a $6 tip.
(4)Dee C.
We shared the two types of crepes and both were wonderful! They also have a very nice gluten free menu and my sisters sandwich was wonderful!!
(5)Tom K.
I was really disappointed when I discovered this wasn't a strip club - totally misleading name here, people. As previously stated by others, it's a chain, it's "eclectic", service and atmosphere are average - basically your run-of-the-mill grease pit. Would recommend Joe Momma's or The Griddle ahead of Le Peep.
(3)Andy H.
It is a chain, but does not feel like a chain. Coffee flavors are good, servers are wonderful and work hard. However the food is "Eh", breakfast potatoes are lifeless, honestly the entire point of my review, dry lifeless, not sure if they come in frozen, but definitely seems that way. It is 2015, Would like to see Organic options non GMO or cage oragnic fed free eggs have way more nutrition.
(3)Jerold D.
(5)Robert B.
There are plenty other options for breakfast in the area. Disappointed by frozen potatoes that are the same as in a hotel chain who simply reheat them. Nothing great or special about this place other than it was close and didn't want to drive to something better.
(2)Dave C.
Good was good but poor service. Didn't get my drink till well after meal and I had to remind them. Meal took forever.
(3)Dustin K.
(4)Joseph A.

Seriously love this place, I love the food, I love the attention to detail, I love the whole pot of coffee they bring you to your table, I love the staff, love how reasonable the prices are and how generous the portions are... LOVE LOVE LOVE Le peep

This was our first time at Le Peep. We loved it! I had the Wanderer skillet, my wife had the Taco's duo, and my kids had the Plaincakes with chocolate chips. Everything was awesome. Way better than I expected we'll be back for sure.

Came here for the first time last week with my mother in-law and husband. We got a table right away, drinks started and food ordered. Good was fresh and delicious. Service was great. Owner/manager did a table touch to check in with us. Will definitely come back!
(5)Jared N.
Disgusting breakfast burrito, by far the worst I have had in town. There was a 30 minute wait to get in, not sure why. I won't be back.
(1)Chazrles D.
Had breakfast there last week. What a treat. Best breakfast I have had in a long time. The service was unmatched. I definitely will eat there again.

(2)Katie R.

(5)Mary A.
(5)Brad T.
(5)Matt S.
(4)Tom K.
