Everytime I come to a 5 guys you always know what your going to get. Fast freindly service and a a good burger and fries. Price is a little on the high side. Your looking at 12+ bucks for a single bacon cheese with fries and a drink but it always a good burger and I have never been disappointed with my meal. They always overload u with fries and have free peanuts so if you leave hungry it's your fault.

We love it. Just diet before and after. The music inside stinks however we know going in what to expect. Good quality and taste

Meh it's okay. I will eat at the five Guys in Tacoma once a month. Just another corporate chain where everything tastes the same. I find it real unsanitary to be throwing peanut shells on the floor.

Awesome. Good price. Tasty. This a great place for a quick burger. Can't go wrong. Tip: only order one large fry for 4 people. It is huge.

Five Guys - The Best - Across the country and in Idaho too - The Best (I guess I like Five guys duh!)

gluten free friendly place (the only thing gluten is the buns so steer clear of those and you are good). kind of messy eating one of their burgers wrapped in lettuce. Fries are good but can be a bit greasy. Go for the cajun fries, nice little kick.

Good burger, willing to grill all your veggies, and damn good fries! Love it in spite of the health risk.

One night, we decided to go the overload routine and have a burger and fries. Hadn't done that out in a long time. So we decided, 5 Guys would be our return to a diet of meat, fat, grease and salt; the basic 4 food groups. The place is pretty much a burgers and hot dogs place. The location was open and bright, pretty clean for the dinner hour. The guy on the register was great at explaining to us how things worked. Pretty much order what condiments you want. Could even have a bunless burger with a "lettuce bun". Fries can be had in several sizes in regular salt or Cajun Spices. There is no vegetarian burger choice, but there is a BLT available. Burgers come in large and small. the large burgers have two beef patties and the small has one patty. Cheese and bacon are available for an additional price. Cooking was to order and pretty quickly done. While you wait, you can eat as many peanuts in the shell as you like. The food is delivered in a plain brown sack with the fries grease sort of soaking thru the bag. The burgers come wrapped in aluminum foil and a wax paper. That sort of steams the bun. some like it that way, some do not. Personally it makes the burger seam greasier than normal, since the bun gets sort of squishy. While I found the burger and fries OK, my wife didn't like the burger much (too greasy), she say. We found the fries were tasty, but salty. Probably wouldn't do the Cajun spices again. The combined calories and fat in that meal adds up to more than the daily load for any kind of healthy diet. Wouldn't pay to eat that meal very often. Summary? We would probably not go back again, as there are other burger places we like more. Different tastes for different folks. The standard for my comparisons is the burger at Goodwood BBQ.

Old fashioned style burger...these day business trips are killers. Sit around in a plane, sit around in a meeting, sit around stuffing my face with good -ol burger and good -ol Idaho-based fries...my daily workout will have to waift, whifle, i stuffff, my face...convenniently located on the way to my client. Viola!

The staff at Five Guys showed us what good old fashioned customer service is all about. After a slight mistake on our take-out order, we called the store and spoke to James. He apologized for the mistake and offered to comp our next meal. Today he made good on that promise. Mistakes here are few, but a business that puts the customer first is gold in our book. The ingredients are fresh and the burgers are outstanding. Make a point to try Five Guys - you'll be glad you did.

I love Five Guys - it's my family's favorite place to get a good burger in Idaho! We get the burgers wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun and they will customize it however you want - grilled onions, raw onions, mushrooms, condiments, etc. Their fries are delicious and a decent sized portion and their customer service is always top-notch. The beef of the burgers is so fresh that it literally falls apart as you're eating it. Highly recommend Five Guys!! (for the record, I'm a CA transplant that absolutely lives for In-N-Out, but Five Guys makes my top 5 list of burger places ever!)

I hadn't any real desire to run right out to Five Guys when they came to town, I didn't know anything about them, I also had no desire to make my way down to Bodo, or deal with traffic on Milwaukee to eat there. However, as my husband and I were on a shopping mission near The Village in Meridian last weekend we decided to take in the experience that is Five Guys. We were probably their first visitors of the day. The location was open and bright, very very clean. The gal on the register was great at explaining to us how things worked. My husband ordered a 'big' double cheeseburger and medium fry along with a beverage. I went with the same burger (only bunless) with a small fry and beverage. We opted to split a hotdog. Handing over almost $30 for food we could have certainly eaten at any run of the mill fast food place was a bit of a shock, but when you're trying something new you gotta be willing to go for it! We filled our drinks and chose a table. It had started to pour down rain outside and I quickly noticed how chilly it was inside that big open space with so many huge windows. Luckily our food was ready soon so I had other things to think about. First off, packaging. Um.. hello.. kill trees much? Each of our orders in a GINORMOUS brown paper grocery bag. I'm sure Five Guys is trying to cut down on overhead by not having to pay someone to collect and wash plastic trays, but seriously? If you're going to eat in you should at least have the option to save a tree. That aside, we forged ahead. I really SHOULD pay attention when I read the words of other Yelpers because oh my heavenly Hanna the amount of french fries was huge! Fresh cut, fresh cooked, hot and right out of the fryer. Crispy on the outside, mealy inside with just the right amount of salt. I may have to try the Cajun spice next time. Burgers were meaty, well cooked, graciously topped (TWO tomato slices.. full on THICK slices.. not tomato slivers!). The only thing we would have like is if the cheese had been in a more advanced stage of melt on our burgers. I adored my bunless burger- placed neatly with my requested condiments in a foil tray. The hotdog (I chose a regular dog, on a bun with mustard, relish and grilled onion) was another wonderful bit of noshing. We did notice, as more patrons came in, the physical plant had a few more issues. Orders are called out by number with no speaker system. If we had not been seated near the counter, say around the corner of the place near the restrooms, I don't think we would have heart them call our number. We had PLENTY to eat, but I did manage to liberate a few of the peanuts placed out for folks.. tasty indeed. Overall this was a good experience, I'm glad we did it for a bit of a special occasion (we were shopping with tax return monies), but given the cost I can't see going back anytime soon.

Simple burgers and fries. Pricier than In and Out.(Sorry, I'm an Arizona transplant) It is what it is and the review is based off of "fast food burgers" I like "Big Judds" as the better, local option.

A good burger with lots of fries. A regular burger has two patties while a little hamburger only has one. Otherwise they are the same. They do had a great veggie option. It does not have a veggie party but rather lots of fresh veggies. This is a chain so the food should be the same no matter where you go.

its a bit over rated and a little expensive for a fast food burger can't wait till in and out burgers comes to idaho know that is what a burger is all about plus for $6.00 dollars you get a combo with fries and coke unlike this guys that you come out paying almost $10.00 for the same thing. just wait idaho till you get in and out the double double the 4 by 4 or animal style fries any of you who have been to in and out know exactly what i'm talking about.

So many people compare this place to In-An-Out Burger. I say: LOWER YOUR EXPECATIONS. The good: Five Guys offer more food options. The burger was tasty. Easy parking. Easy to find on Eagle. Restrooms are clean The bad: Price: Five Guys is more expensive than In-And-Out. The fries: Not sure what everyone is talking about - not that good. Didn't finish even 1/2 of them that came with the order (2 of us dining). Speed: Took a long time and there was no one else ordering at the time. Artwork: Endless self promotion on the walls. Used to seeing that kind of chest-pounding in the bathroom or foyers of restaurants, not everywhere in the restaurant. Layout: Strange to see piles of fries and jars of peanut oil in the dining area. Supposed to show the 'freshness'. I believe this location is franchise run. Bottom line: I have no need to return to Five Guys.

Buns that leave your hands stinking until you Gojo them. The seasoned fries were ridiculously seasoned & the flavor just wasn't good. ambiance... well... It is like eating at a plaid walled Costco, less the people.

Great fries as long if the fries are not cooked to long. Small burger is great deal with most the fix ins on it. Clean and friendly staff. Yes wish they had in and out here in Idaho but we don't this is the next best thing.

My favorite burger joint! Don't worry about the In-n-Out comparison because we don't have so it doesn't matter.

Like so many things in life, we all have different experiences. This usually depends on a persons taste. I don't like grease. If you like grease, you will love this place. The fries had so much grease on em that they soaked the bag they were put in. The burger is not much better. Nothing but grease. So if you like grease, you will really like this place. If you are like me and prefer a burger and not grease, you will hate this place.

As advertised .... It's a good burger, but fries just soso. Think I'll stay with Smash burger.

Wife and I have eaten at 5 Guys a few times. I give it a 3 1/2, she gives it a 4 1/2, so I settled on a 4. Food is OK to good, fries are very good, burgers, now that I've figured out their system of condiments are not bad. We will drive there from Nampa now that Squeezers closed down, and there are no real good burger joints in Nampa anymore. But I think Smashburger is better if not more expensive. I like the bags of potatoes & peanuts & stacks of oil that other reviewers find offensive. Keeps it from being too sterile an environment. For us, it's better than average.
