We stopped overnight in Mackay to see the Mackay ghost town/mines (which are awesome). The Wagon Wheel RV/Inn recommended this place and they were right, it is very good. They serve a prime rib on weekends that is huge -- some cuts have the bone on them. The food was very good. The atmosphere is a small town restaurant with an attached bar.

My new favorite steak house, hands down! I grew up in this area and have come back off and on for 25 years. I have always heard the food was great. We came last night and had prime rib and rib eye. It was so good we came back again tonight. I had the flat iron which was just as great. Awesome flavors, Great atmosphere.

Stopped here during our annual 4th of July trip to Idaho. Great prime rib, French fries, salad! Nice small town atmosphere, great bar and clean!!!!

Stayed in MacKay for an atv adventure and tried Kens our second night. Staff was friendly and prompt. Salad was fresh and well made, however I was a little disappointed in the end cut prime rib. The last prime rib I had in Idaho was not far from Kens (less than 100 miiles) and I wondered if the beef came from the same supplier (range cattle). There was an overpowering sage/spice taste that personally detracts from a good cut of meat and for an end cut there was no bark. Overall the atmosphere was cozy and food was good (except the prime rib).
