TERRIBLE!! Picked up my gf from airport and she was hungry. Went here and wanted to have the feel of our first date back (also sharies). Got seated. Sat there for 10min before a server came by and asked us about drinks!! It wasn't busy either. Got our drinks. 10min later she came back and got our food order. Waited, waited, got a call from my dad. Talked to him for 15min. Waited. Finally after a 50minute wait we got up and left. Totally ruined our night. Will never go to this place again! Horrid service. Ate there before and never had good serves as a matter of fact. Gonna call and complain.

I'd never been to a Shari's until now. This place really impressed me. We went for breakfast while on vacation and it was so clean it positively gleamed. Our server was a polite middle aged lady who seemed like a castaway from corporate America but was so enthusiastic and lovely! I had a lighter option that certainly didn't feel "light", it was an awesome slice of quiche Lorraine with fresh fruit and the best English muffin I have ever had. My husband liked his apple crepes. The coffee was hot and fresh and they kept it coming. Really impressed and will seek out Shari's when I travel from now on...I'm just not sure other locations will live up to this great first experience!

I wish I could give it less than 1 star! Arrived at 9:00 and ordered. By 9:53 our food had still not come. Was not that busy. Only about 3 other tables. All which had their food!

Good place nice clean waitress was nice staff was nice. They have pretty good food overall. Prices are fair for what you get. Location isn't real great sits way back in off the road almost hidden but on a busy part of town. Overall very impressed the few times I went there.

Okay I love that they're open all night long - sometimes its the only place open when my girlfriends are out for a night on the town. Their shakes are great (not as big as Scotty's, but very good), and I absolutely LOVE their layered hashbrowns with the sour cream and bacon. My only complaint is that I can't just order a huge platter of them, they only come in these tiny portions. The staff has always been so friendly, but the last two times I've been my regular meal hasn't been all that great - either over cooked or undercooked, but hey, it's a diner, I'm not expecting culinary awesomeness. I usually get the layered hashbrown platter with sausage and scrambled eggs. They used to have this really great beefy smoked sausage but their regular stuff they have now is good too. I've only ever gotten breakfasts here so I can't speak for their dinners. Their pies are a big hit at my house as well, I adore their Lemon Sour Cream pie, the kids love the Pumpkin, and my husband loves the Banana Cream. We always get pies here for the holidays.

Best blueberry pancakes I've ever eaten. I mean, it was the middle of the night and they are one of two things I really remember from that night, but I think that counts for a lot.

The service was passable and quite slow. But that is not why this place deserves a two - the quiche was okay (I believe they have a generic egg mix and place the required ingredients on the top) and the soup of the day was flavorless and was some sort of pale grey. Also, they claim to be famous for pies? Not impressed.

The Friendliest people in town. Very attentive and accommodating. Food is way way better than Denny's. We were determined to have a feast on potatoes. It's Idaho. We ordered tater tots, mashed potatoes, BUT, they ran out of their famous "Baked Potato Soup." Hence the 4 stars and not 5. We ordered, steak, salmon, kids mac & cheese, chicken salad. The salmon stood out the most. It was cook on cedar sheets...WOW...at a diner like (chained) establishment. Surprisingly good! The tater tots was also very good, so was an extra order of onion rings. (ok, don't judge, we were hungry after a long drive.) BUT...must must must try the pies. Well, at least the MARIONBERRY pie. If we weren't on our way to Yellowstone, I would have bought a dozen of them. Yes, that good...not exaggerating! (at least for those who love blackberry pie.)

A breakfast at Shari's never disappoints. My food is always cooked how I like it. And their holandaise Sauce may come already made, but it is better than most places in this area. I did once order a chocolate pie that was not up to par but management had no trouble letting me get a brand new pie of my choice and it was delicious. Our server, Linda is the friendliest waitress in this town. Go and enjoy!!!

I am so upset with this restaurant! I grew up going to Sharis and always got their Alfredo chicken pasta. I absolutely loved their pasta as a child. Unfortunately, I moved and was not near any Sharis for a good 5+ years. I was so excited to have one open in my town. Soon after they opened, I took my husband there telling him all of the stories I had there with my family, how I looked forward to their food etc. I don't remember what my husband ordered. But my peach tea wasn't that great. It was very watery and didn't have much of a peach favor let alone tea. Now I just ignored it because I was looking forward to the Alfredo Pasta. Now, the service was very nice and all but when she handed it to me it did look very good. However, it tasted like it was pre cooked and microwaved. It unfortunately could have been hotter as well. The $1.00 T.V pasta dinner was better then this or almost the same. I was shocked. I didn't even really finished it. It was a huge shame. I felt embarrassed because of how much I told my husband how it was amazing beforehand. I really hope they have better quality now since time has passed. I might give it another shot because I still love Sharis from my childhood.

Just drove 13 hrs straight from Orange County to Idaho Falls !!! Walked in at 12:44 am, Katarina (or Katrin, I apologize) came up and saw how tired and drained I was, offered to sit and a drink on the house ! I took a soda, and then she took my order. Just awesome service !Thank you !!! We'll be back in the morning for breakfast :)!

This kind of place (boring chain food / Denny's knockoff / places our grandparents would love) usually isn't really our type, but we were staying right across the street, had overslept after a late night at the drive-in movies, and needed to get on the road in a hurry but needed a good breakfast/brunch first. The desk clerk at the Fairfield suggested here, and since we really didn't have time to go around town and find something more interesting (read: my husband wouldn't give me enough time for yelp research, and besides, that yelp blackberry app is kind of a pain), we bit. Not being from Idaho, we were not familiar with the Shari's brand but we could pretty much tell from across the street what kind of place we were looking at. I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was really nice and really prompt. The coffee was good, menu had good variety, and it was very clean. We were still able to get breakfast and had to be at least noon at that point. I don't remember what everybody had (this trip is starting to all blur together...) but I do remember finishing my own and stealing a few bites of whatever the kids had. The food and service was better that what you would normally get at any Denny's and it was cleaner too. So what this place lacks in character it made up for in convenience and quality.

Good food much like any IHOP/Denny's. Everyone in the family like their food. The kids couldn't get over how good the pancakes were. It is a retired persons dream. :)

First time at Shari's as we are from the South. Highly recommend the Pesto Salmon BLT and Marion Berry pie.

Nice that it is open 24/7, but service is incredibly slow. Come ready to wait 45 minutes to receive breakfast food.

If you ever see Shari's off the highway during your road trip.. I was in Idaho for our road trip to Montana.. We saw this place - very clean and the service was perfect. The Breakfast was superbly awesome! I never had a perfect cooked breakfast ever. I hope to find Shari's in Sacramento area some day. It made our road trip on a good start of the day! Thanks Shari's .. oh by the way .. they got the best Strawberries Jam.. wow!

This is a very solid four star! We just needed a place to eat and I typically stay away from the chain places, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. This is a gem of a find for a quick reasonable meal. I hear its a chain in the northwestern part of the US.

Delicious food! Great atmosphere. Coffee, breakfast, and a pie are worth coming back. Friendly staff as well.

Egg was not cook properly. Found ham next to my French toast. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

If I could I'd give them a zero star....food was horrible! !! I ordered Caesar with grilled salmon and I got salmon "jerky" instead. My husband ordered Tbone with mashed potato and mac and cheese. Mac was cold, cheese never melted (we had to ask the waitress to place it in the oven for a few more min). The gravy on the mash was horribly tasting and overwhelmed it. The steak looked like it just came out of the freezer and got thrown on the grill ....rubbery and overcooked...overall a horrible experience
