The old style drive in! Awesome so lets stop here! I love it, just pull up pick up the phone and place your order. Great nostalgic idea! The menu is priced pretty reasonable with may burger options for size. Hot dogs and fish sandwiches too! Just a plain old burgers with plain old buns! The service is friendly and quick and the food fresh. The burger was good but the hot dog not so. Precooked and done in the fryer. I have no problem with the fryer but it only take 3-4 minutes max to cook it so make them fresh! All in all a cool little bring back the oldies kind of place.I would not travel far to go there but if I am in town...sure why not! Ps... beware of the smokers in the cars next to you! That part really does suck!

Seriously this is a disgusting place to eat. They list mayonnaise as a condiment on their menu, but they serve Miracle Whip (Eww, disgusting). Their burger patties seem like congealed something or the other. And I still cannot get over the Miracle Whip. IT IS NOT MAYO. Please, CHANGE YOUR MENU to reflect honesty, or actually serve mayonnaise. Disgusting. And we are considering moving to Emmett. Hopefully someone at the company reads this and will do something about it. The shakes were fine. Nothing special, but the shakes and soda pop were the only thing ok about our experience.

I am disappointed that I have to even give this place a star. After returning a few of our burgers (received incorrect orders) we received two burgers that were sloppily put together and tasted like garbage. We had ordered a burger without mayo and it appears as if they had just scraped off the condiment and threw it back to us. We then were told by one of the surly employees that worked there, to make sure we specify how we want our order next time.. There will be no next time for us! Make sure you drive past this place and go to The Blue Ribbon instead .

Hello 1950s. This place is a true old school drive in. This isn't a Sonic where you push the fancy button and talk into a speaker to order. This place has legit telephones to connect you with the inside to order. We had 4 people in the car all placing separate orders and the girl helping us couldn't have been friendlier. Shakes, tater tots, burgers, Cherry Coke (and Pepsi!), they have it all. I got the jalapeno tater tots which were mouthwatering, a Cherry Coke and chocolate shake. Just as good as you would expect. All of the spots for your car are covered too which is nice on those hot summer days. The prices are beyond reasonable too. I think it is cash only too (even if it's not, it's just easier).

Atmosphere: Roe Anne's has been in Emmett every since I grew up here. So it has a Nostalgic feel for me personally and it rides up the rating a bit more than I would give it without. Service: Service has always been very kind. Food: Do not expect food that will impress you. It will be simply a burger that you can mow down and it will satisfy that munchies itch. Desert: My all time favorite flurry to go with a burger here is the nerds flurry, The ice cream has always been good but inconsistent. You cant go wrong with frozen custard with nerds candy :D Overview: Roe Anne's has been in Emmett ever since I was born so I just grew up with it. The Nostalgic of Roe Anne's gets me every time. Plus my sweet tooth for a Nerds Flurry

Iconic Emmett drive in. Very similar menu for decades now. Really enjoy the atmosphere of the old school car hop. Wimpy Burgers are always a must try with. Malt or shake to wash it down. You can order most anything on the menu with or without whatever is to your liking. Amazing throwback pricing.

Roe-Ann's has been serving generations of Emmett residents. It's the only survivor of the three drive-ins Emmett's Washington Avenue once boasted. The Wimpy burger, with an added slice of Canadian bacon, is a classic. Do the Idaho thing and order tartar sauce for your fries and Tater Gems. And add a nonalcoholic scotch and soda.

This place has a very cool retro feel and seems to be very popular in Emmett, but I was not very impressed. I found the burger to be bland and unsatisfying, and the two fried treats I tried (onion rings and mushrooms) tasted mainly of deep-fried flour. The milkshakes were well-touted, but my chocolate shake tasted like whipped vanilla soft-serve. The feelings of nostalgia for this drive-in are palpable--too bad the food is crappy.

Great old drive in. Menu and owners have been the same forever

Like Micaela M., I eat at Roe Ann's every time I'm in Emmett - and I live in Boise. Here's where my rating comes from - every time I order, I eat and then assess if I have room to order another Wimpy Burger or fries with fry sauce. I'm also a huge fan of their spins - try a rootbeer spin if you want to experience the good life! The other amazing thing Roe Ann's does is Cruise Night. Although another entity has largely overtaken much of it, Roe Ann's started it. And what a great time! The classic cars, dance contests - it's a true throwback to the '50's. MUCH thanks to Roe Ann's for starting and maintaining an incredible event! Check it out on the third Saturday of every July. I love Roe Ann's, and find it superior to any other fast food burger joint (including 5 Guys and In-N-Out) - now just to get them to open one in Boise. =)

This is a nice fast food place to eat. We have eaten there a few times and I have to say they are way better than McDonald's.

Okay- for you outsiders this may not be the best drive in, but for us locals this is it! I grew up in Emmett and Roe Anns has always been very popular. If your are from Emmett it is likely that you will see someone you know that you haven't seen in years! So dress nice =) The food is great- my favorite are the cheese sticks and a chicken club.
