Awesome breakfast items for a very reasonable price. The weekend breakfast specials are usually worthy at a Five Star resort! Service is great and very friendly staff!! While they last, the bakery items are fresh and delicious! I've been coming here since 2007 and to me, it's the only good place in town for breakfast!

Old infrastructure cared for as carefully as one imagines it could be on limited budget, this is clearly an "old timer" building housing a long time restaurant that is a favorite with locals it seems based on folks inside and conversations overheard during our visit. Choose carefully from the menu and this can be a decent place for a bite in Emmett if you're passing through at meal time. Okay food, low prices, pleasant service. The young manager was also server for us and based on his interactions with us, other customers and staff his personable approach was one of the most enjoyable pieces of the experience. A hitch here was the bakery. This is advertised "...& Bakery" but the pie slice we ordered was far past prime and so soggy we couldn't eat it. I'd avoid bakery items were we back again. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: In paved. un-striped lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Looks like one entry may be level in. The other has a makeshift short concrete ramp over single step up. Seemed all on one floor inside. Tight spaces for anyone pushing stroller or using wheelchair. Some tables looked as if enough space to be wheelchair accessible. 3) OUTDOOR TABLES: Handful or less of tables outside in front right on the street. But for weather not permitting on the day of our visit, this would be our choice for seating here.

went here for lunch today and I had Mushroom burger, because the place seems popular and I had wanted to compare with the other non chain place in Emmett I had a burger at. This place was really crowded with long time regulars when we were there. The staff was really not very personable or cheerful in personality. On the burger the "swiss" cheese which didn't taste like any swiss I've ever tasted before because it didn't have any swiss cheese like flavor, was on top of the 5 super duper small mushroom slices I received. I think it's one mushroom sliced per burger unlike the other burger I received in town which was saturated with fresh mushroom goodness. it just wasn't a good burger because it was over cooked and the lettuce was not good . . . and it was really dry and hard to swallow. I didn't finish the burger. I've never had a mushroom burger so dry before.... will not return bc the food wasn't very good.

If you want to mingle with the locals, this is the place to be. They know where the good stuff is!

What a cute little small town diner that was recommended to me by the locals! I brought my both my darling grannies here for their birthdays a few days ago and we had a charming little luncheon. The space is small, about eight four person tables and nary a seat got cold the entire visit. I had the BLT with steak fries. The bacon was just perfect! My bf and grandmother #1 had the pulled pork sandwich and it was just enormous and also extremely delicious. Be sure to try their homemade potato salad. Reser's should take note and buy out their recipe instead of mass producing their slop. If you do find yourself here, be sure to try one of their humongous cinnamon rolls or treat yourself to a slice of cake. We had a few slices of the carrot cake and it was divine, with just the right amount of frosting. Portions were big and you probably wouldn't believe it, but our four sandwiches with sides and two slices of cake came in at $28. Not joking. Thanks for making me look like a cheapskate Blue Ribbon ;) I left satiated and with my grannies clutching their little bags of leftovers in tow (and now you know where I inherited my affinity for leftovers.) We are all looking forward to next year's second annual Grandma bday luncheon and if I find myself here in the interim I am definitely getting a cinnamon roll!

We were there for brunch time and all the locals were checking in with each other, stopping by the tables and saying hi to all the waitresses. A hometown icon for this place. Great homey food. Many of the regulars were taking "to go" bags, hence the word bakery in their title. But it felt more like a diner to me.

Sorry but Michaela is WRONG WRONG WRONG. These people work HARD every day - they are now open seven days a week! - and deserve to take holidays off to be with THEIR families. If your laziness stops you from giving them an excellent rating for this out of this world fabulous food, you need to stop reviewing restaurants and look at your pathetic life. The prime rib on Friday and Saturday night is to die for. The breakfasts are amazing and they have NEVER served me a bad meal in six years. ALL home baked bread, rolls and pastries. No place better around.

The food here is tasty and reasonable. However there are not many tables as it is small inside. I really like the buffalo cheeseburger.
