The new owners at this location, have completely turned the place around, for the better! The service at the counter is friendly and fast and the sandwiches are packed with meat and served on hot, fresh sourdough. I particularly enjoy the Italian and the French Dip. I am very happy with the changes and I much prefer the experience at this location, over the one at Riverstone.

I find this location is spot on with the Libery Lake location, not kid friendly is you have little ones, but great for the adults, I always find myself ordering the bread bowl with clam chowder when available, it's delish.

We stopped here for an early lunch right after they opened for the day, I think we were the first customers. Service was fast and good. Lots of different sandwiches to choose from. The standard small, medium and large sandwich sizes. Combo with chips, soup or salad available. Prices are typical to other sandwich stores. (2 reg. subs, 1 as a combo $14). Chip selection was very small, but good quality brands. The sandwich was amazing! One of the better sandwiches I've had in a while. The lunch meat was sliced thin, and they had a flavored mayo added just a little bit of extra to the sandwich. The bread was awesome!! So fresh, soft and very flavorful. Perfect sourdough bread. We're from California and lived near San Francisco so we know good San Francisco sourdough! Looking forward to going back! I think this will be my go place to for sandwiches.

Sandwiches are delicious which is why I keep coming back, and of course the best location besides Riverstone (the only one to offer a loyalty stamp card) of any of the franchise stores (i.e. Liberty Lake, Rathdrum & CDA)

New owners are awesome. Everything you'd expect from a downtown cafe. Staff was friendly, prices were affordable, and portions were large. Definitely be back for more. A++++++

Great sandwhiches but for better service hit up the location in Riverstone by the movie theatre. I believe the owners are different as well.

I went into this establishment today (08/14/2013 approx. 1:30 PM) to grab a quick bite to eat while out on a walk around town. The attitude I was greeted with by the young lady behind the counter was less than pleasant to start with. We ordered our sandwiches, after each time we ordered one the young lady said something that I was unable to understand, although I make out the words soup or salad. This being the first time ever eating at this establishment (I rarely go downtown, especially during the tourist season) I assumed that I was getting a soup or salad with my meal. As it turns out the other words she apparently said happened to be some variation of would you like a combo with chips, soup, or salad and a soda??? Although it sounded as if she had a handful of marbles in her mouth, or something akin to this, so the words where mostly unrecognizable. After ringing me up and handing me a soda, I informed her that I did not want a soda. This is where the whole experience got weird. She went on to tell me I did in fact tell her I wanted a combo and that she could not refund me, because I ordered it. In comes the manager, he tells her to just give me some cash from the till and everything is ok. I pulled him aside and let him know that I was not to happy giving my business to an establishment that retains employees that argue with the customers, and politely suggested he should do something about this. His response was; "we are not trying to save lives here, we just make really good sandwiches". I am uncertain what that means, but I just sat down and waited for my food. I heard them call out some numbers while I was waiting, uncertain what my number was I returned to the counter, where I was informed that I was given a number and should learn to pay attention. In fact the lovely young lady shoved a receipt in my face, after getting my cash refunded by the manager, saying; "you still need to sign this." (A less than professional tone and demeanor should be visualized while reading said quote) Perhaps my number was on there, I cannot be certain because I had to give it back for the business to retain for their records. Perhaps there was another receipt, I am uncertain and truly did not feel like arguing with her. I decided to just let it go and wait for my food and leave. On my way out I said you guys have a wonderful day. The other young lady preparing sandwiches said "you too sir" or something to that effect. The young lady that I was treated rudely by just laughed and said nothing. This pissed me off! So I said; "thanks for coming in today, you have a lovely day as well sir. Is what I would say if I was working in customer service today". I told my son to hurry up because I never wanted to have to come back in again. To that, she laughed again. After all of this I spent nineteen dollars on one 7 inch sandwich and one 5.5 inch sandwich. Neither of said sandwiches where very good, they were not bad, they were just sandwiches. Overpriced, mediocre sandwiches, served by a surly counter wench .... THREE BLOCKS AWAY FROM SUBWAY, FIVE DOLLAR FOOT LONGS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. NEVER AGAIN!!! They lost my business and the business of everyone I know. I do have coworkers that lunch there rather often; hopefully I can put an end to that. I would assume that telling the manager to talk to the counter staff about arguing with customers and annunciation would help. Although in this case I assume they don't really care, after reading the other reviews citing poor snappy service. I would think that if were the owner of said business that I might run a pretty tight ship. Especially seeing as Subway opened up a shop 5-6 months ago, very close to them.

The food tasted good, but way overpriced for what you get. I ordered the French dip, and there were only a couple scraps of meat.

Food is ok, service is poor, no AC, and way expensive for sandwiches! The girl making the sandwiches snaps at customers and employees. Not cool! Recommend passing this one up, too many better choices within a few feet!

It was pretty good, but they are overpriced ($20 for two people for sandwiches, fountain drinks, 1 bag of chips and 1 potato salad). They messed up our order and their American cheese tasted way too processed. They did have fast service. I can still think of better sandwich shops.
