We love the relaxed atmosphere!! They also have happy hour specials! They are from 2:00-5:00 pm. Right now it is either a Strawberry Lemonade or a Granita for $1.00. You can add flavors to the granita (like we do) for only 50 cents each. What a deal!!!

As a mom with younger kids, It can be hard to find a place to meet friends for coffee that is also kid friendly. This place I s a great option. They have good good and drinks with a friendly kids atmosphere (they have games to enjoy on location).

The worst customer service I have ever received!! As someone who is on the run at all times, and needs something quickly to eat in between clients, I was extremely disappointed with the customer service and quality of food. I always try to support local companies, but will not be returning here nor, will I recommend it to anyone. I stopped by for a bite to eat while headed to an appointment, not only did I sit there for a half hour waiting for my sandwich, but when I finally asked where it was, they told me it had been sitting there the whole time, even though I was never called! As I sat there waiting for my food, no one approached me to see if I had already got my food! Unacceptable! Worse customer service ever!!!

This place is great! My dad comes here most mornings and gets his drip coffee. I was finally able to join him this past weekend, and I'm glad I did. The baristas are friendly and efficient, and there is plenty of comfy seating and good-sized tables. It's a nice place to relax while drinking your coffee. We didn't order any food, but saw some delicious sandwiches getting delivered to a nearby table. I liked that you can opt for a mug instead of a disposable cup. How refreshing! They also have a drive-through for people in a hurry.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable atmosphere. A friend and I need to waste sometime, so we came here and enjoyed a tasty bacon breakfast burrito a mocha and a Irish cream latte. The only downer is that their drip coffee is not as bold as i prefer. I have ventured back here several times and have always been greeted with a smile.

My wife and I used to be regulars here when we lived in Coeur d'Alene (we left in 2008). We would come in 3-4 times a week. The food was always good, fresh, and the service superb. I heard that it was sold a few years ago. After we moved, we would come back during the summer to visit. Kootenai Coffee was our place to hang out, surf the web, etc. This summer when I came back, things were different. First, they limit your internet to 30 minutes (nobody does this anymore). Second, the food was mediocre. I tried what appeared to be delicious orange cinnamon roll. It turned out to be nothing more than a stale piece of bread with no cinnamon or orange filling with a blob of icing on top. Very disappointing. Tasted like it was several days old and probably wasn't any good when it was new. The drinks were ok, but the service was very slow. Sorry Kootenai Coffee, but you're just not what you used to be. I would skip this and head over to Starbucks down the street. At least they don't kick you off the internet after 30 minutes.
