Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

My husband and I got food poisoning from this fine establishment. I would rather see my grandparents have intercourse than eat at this shit hole!

What a joke. First off the cashier had an attitude. I ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and beans and some chips and salsa. Got home and the chips and salsa were in a box with the salsa poured over the chips. Yay for soggy chips! Maybe I should have specified salsa on the side, but I thought that was pretty standard. Enchiladas were ice cold and the cheese wasn't melted. $9.22 for a pretty crappy dinner. Won't be back.

Pretty good food, I like the California burrito. Usually pretty fast service. This place has become one of my favorites in the area.

The customer service absolutely sucks!! The lady at the register treats you like an inconvenience. The food is pretty decent. At least it would be if they ever got my order right. If you order something on the menu you better be sure that you like it how it's regularly made. The steak and egg breakfast burrito was really good. I think I'll stick to that from now on. The Mexican food here in Idaho is making me miss California... Almost.

This place is semi-authentic right down to the "don't give a shit" attitude of the Latina behind the counter. Although, you do get slightly better service if you are fluent. The food was just "OK". However, I wouldn't suggest ordering anything that requires the use of utensils... I can understand the need to save money from a business perspective but paper-thin forks and knives are a pain in the ass to deal with. I spent the first 15 minutes of my meal sawing away at a damn burrito. I finally had to pull out my pocketknife and use it but still had to deal with that thing they called a fork. The flies did, however, add to the experience as did nasty carpet and doors. Anyway.... Not a good experience overall. For my money, Imelda's is just down the street and is the exact opposite of Betos. Friendly, clean and delicious.

I like the burritos but the employees are rude and the last 3 times I've gone there my food had hair in it yuck!!!

The tacos are large. These aren't the mini tacos you find everywhere else. My preference would be for the carnitas which is slightly crispy. The carne asada fries looked better than they tasted. The fries were undercooked. For a 24 hour location it wouldn't be bad for that midnight run.

Has potential but tastes like they don't care. The carne was dry and rice was not very flavorful. What makes Mexican food so great is the flavor

I used to love cheap Los Beto's breakfast burritos, (add bacon), but alas, I got poisoned. I'd eat these bad boys like once a week, and would scoff at people who looked at me like I was crazy for eating at the infamously filthy Los Beto's, (seriously, this place is freaking FILTY). Well, I was finally removed from my high horse, and struck with a food poisoning so vicious that, well, trust me, it was bad. Anyways, I will probably still go to Los Beto's, but NOT this one. I hear the one in Nampa is pretty clean, so maybe the chances of getting a food born illness are slimmer there.
