We have visited this establishment on two of the three Saturdays it has been open. Two words.... it's fabulous! The remodel of the building is unbelievable. Beautiful dark wood, deep earth toned colors, televisions EVERYWHERE, and classy decorating have transformed this space into a beautiful pub atmosphere. It will be a great place to watch any sporting events you can think of. There are two very large bars, a large separate dining section, and a private dining room. The hostesses are friendly, energetic, and eager to make sure your visit is great. Both of the servers we have had (Annie and Taylor) were knowledgeable of the menu and the large beer and drink selection. The menu options are abundant. We couldn't even believe that, while just opening, they haven't had a "reduced" menu, as many restaurants will do until they get into the swing of things. There is a menu option for anyone's appetite. And small substitutions, like sauces or dressings on the side, were not a problem at all. Over our two visits between my husband and I and our friends, we have had the Fish and Chips, the Inferno Turkey Burger, Parm Garlic fries, Beer-Cheese soup, Southwestern Wrap, The Scottish Cheesesteak, side salads, grilled hot wings, and The Kilt Club, along with an assortment of great beers. All of the food has been great! The grilled wings are amazing.... I have not had anything like them at a restaurant before. Grilled and slightly blackened, then tossed in sauce. We did the Kilt Burner. It wasn't over the top in heat.....but it WAS over the top in flavor. Hands down the best wings I have ever had. And their blue cheese dressing is to die for. The Beer Soup..... another fav for sure. This place is our new favorite. We will continue to visit on a regular basis. Do yourself a huge favor and plan a dinner here with friends, or just with your companion.... you will NOT be disappointed.

Atmosphere: The way the revamped the inside of the building is beautiful, everything is quite comfortably spaced and the decorations are attractive. I like that when we visited for dinner the place was packed FULL but we could still have a comfortable conversation without yelling at each other. Most places seem to turn the music up way too much. Service: The staff is super friendly and fun! Also they know their stuff when it comes to the food and the drink selection and actually make suggestions outside of just telling you what is available. Food: We had scotch eggs (a friend of mine lived in Scotland for four years and said they were pretty good) having never been to Scotland I thought they were really yummy. I had the Nachos without meat and LOVED them, though I would ask for extra jalapeno next time and the salsa was divine. All in all it was very fun and I would highly recommend!

First and last time to visit Tilted Kilt. Atmosphere and waitress was nice. However it would be nice to have some flavor built in to the dishes. Wife had some "Dinty Moore" looking Irish Stew and my cod was the flavor of cardboard. Thanks to the malt vinegar and tarter sauce I made it through. Might be a good place for bar food and drinks. Lots of sports on the tvs. Not a dinning spot though.

Been to several of these around the country. The food is consistently good and the scenery varies. Great for watching sports.

When we could get in for lunch durning march madness this place was pretty sweet. They have enough tv's and enough servers to keep up with the crowd. They have a ton of beers on tap. I had the club that day and it was one of the best tasting sandwiches I have had in a while.

Well, second time here and I really wished I could give this place a higher rating. Problem is that there isn't much positive to say. Sitting at far side of bar and the stench from the drain backing up has ruined any positive aspect of this evening. Just wanted a beer or two and a bite to eat but the foul smell is overwhelming. The barkeeper knew of the problem and tried to get a guy to clean it out but it was useless. Management ought to actually FIX the problem rather than trying to band aid it. It takes a little more effort but might gain you so much ore in customer satisfaction. Whoever this young lady (Hannah) is trying to be a bartender needs some help. I was left to fend for myself in getting my own napkin & silverware. She didn't have time apparently to check on whether I needed anything and the only one she smiled was when it was time for me to close my tab. And that was clearly fake. She lost her tip a while before that. The highlight was that Michaela, who was my sever the first visit, remembered me and stopped by to say hi. If there were more like her this place would be a success. As it stands this joint will close its doors within a year. Good luck with that.

Sooo...I was excited about the idea of Tilted Kilt! Hot girls serving me delicious food while I drank a beer? Heck yeah! But Tilted Kilt has been a roller coaster of highlights and very very lowlights for me! Highlights: The girls are cute and nice! Always a plus. An issue that I have is that I am allergic to practically EVERYTHING, so I emailed corporate and they put me in contact with the kitchen manager Marshall at thsi location. He was excellent! Super nice and he helped me think of things (even things off menu!) that I could eat while there. When I was actually in the restaurant I asked for the manager Regan like Marshall had told me to and she was very nice and even offered to call Marshall right then (he was off the night I went in) and there to see if their fries had soy. I had a DELICIOUS burger wrapped in lettuce! And an Angry Orchard...or two! It was a fun place to watch the March Madness game. HOWEVER, the lowlights: I've had horrible service each time I've been there. The first I was there, we were completely looked over and sat there for about 45 minutes before one of the servers noticed we were in her section. I've been a server myself before, if this had happened to me, I would have comped something, brought out free dessert, etc. I wasn't expecting this at all, but the offer would have been nice! The girl was mildly apologetic and the night was fine. The second time I was in we again waited for quite a while, maybe 25 or so minutes (I'm so used to my restaurant having a 30 second greet!) even though we were very obviously right in the middle of the restaurant. Oh well. Overall: Delicious food, great management, but service is pretty poor.

We went here to watch the boise state game and it was the worst decision we made! First of all, we waited one hour before anyone asked if we had been helped! Then, once we asked for the manager she blamed us for not waving HER down to get help. She never apologized to us. She then said she would comp some drinks and food for us. We proceeded to order a round of drinks and a plate of fries. No one including the manager came back to check on us after all of this had taken place. Drinks were never refilled, we had to ask for napkins, silverware and ketchup. The waitresses had plenty of time to sit and chat with each other and friends while all of this was taking place. Shortly before halftime of the game we finally decided we had enough and the waitress brought us the bill (there shouldn't have been a bill) we had to flag the manager back down and she comped 3 beers and we paid for the rest! We will never go again nor do we recommend this place to anyone! Don't waste your time!

Bad service, hair in the stew, potatoes were black with the eyes still in it. The chicken Ceasar salad was without the chicken and then it took all the time in the world for the waitress to bring it to us. By then the salad was limp and unappealing. I thought they would give a fresh one for the mistake but "NO". So you pay about 12 dollars for the sloppy salad. Never Again!!

Gaelic chicken was wonderful, beer tasty and cold, unfortunately so was the beotch bar tender. I was one of 4 at the bar and asked a simple question to which I got a no and a will there be anything else.

Where do I start with this place....... Food was not good, service was worse, manager basically stood around and bs'd with the girls. Also I didn't receive my coin change which was part of the unfortunate tip I left. We never got refills without having to flag someone down then still didn't get our drinks. Best thing about Tilted Kilt were the cute outfits. Honestly, would have rather eaten at the gas station.

I think one and a half stars is more accurate. First they have $10 cover charge just to get in to eat their less than average food. Service is bad, as in slow and girls are good looking, but put out a prissy pre Madonna attitude. So if you wanna feel like your in high school again. Stop on by. On the plus side they do serve cold beer.

3 stars for food / 1 star for service = 3 stars Having eaten at Tilted Kilt several times I know we're always going to get a very friendly waitress who is easy on the eyes! Our waitress Lacey was more interested in talking about her boyfriend, than taking our order. She didn't catch on that we didn't want to hear about him, let alone see photos. Several times we tried cutting her off and she kept on talking. After 10+ minutes of talking she realized we were not interested. This resulted in her abandoning our table for the rest of our meal.

I have been to a few Tilted Kilts across America and now it was time to visit the Tilted Kilt in the town I live in. Believe you me, I had high hopes for the Boise Tilted Kilt. I was hoping for better but had a mediocre experience. Our server was very nice and super polite (and of course rather attractive). Besides our server, all women who were working today were rather attractive. That's where the excitement ended. I ordered a Bud Lite and it was $5 for a pint. What!?!? I know alcohol sales have a high margin but $5 for a pint is a bit much for a near water beer. Next I ordered the Southwest Chicken Wrap with French fries. The wrap was bland and tasteless. The fries were good though and very plentiful. I could eat TK fries for days. I think the wrap was $10.50. My friend ordered chicken strips that were tossed in a spicy buffalo sauce. The spicy buffalo sauce was pretty darn good and made me smile. I visited this location when it was the fish joint before and the current layout is much nicer. I was really impressed with the design and appearance of the inside of this TK. Compared to Twin Peaks in Boise, I'd visit here again before I waste my time at Twin Peaks again. The servers at TK are genuinely friendly and all the "assets" I saw contained 0% silicone. Without a really good reason and a pocket full of money, I can't see myself going out of my way to visit here again. I would love to give this TK location a higher rating but come on; I mean a beer and a chicken wrap cost $20 including tip!!!!

There's a reason this place is half empty on a football Sunday. I ordered an appetizer and entree and they came together meaning by the time I got to the entree, it was cold and the server giggled and said" I know they shouldn't come together but " they" did it anyway" If you know it's wrong, don't do it. Don't foist your kitchen's lack of care on me. Then it was like pulling teeth to get a beer. geez, you'd think they' d want to sell a high margin item during a football game. The food is sub par bar food. I had the pretzels, marked a house speciality, and there was nothing special about them...smallish state fair pretzels...the Irish dip was bland and tasteless. You might come here ONCE for the boobs. But even a Breastaurant needs to have good service and good food. I won't be back. This place is a......bust.....
(2)Jay W.
Incredibly understaffed. Just an awful time and a expensive bill. By the time I got my food it was cold and it took 30 min of waiting to get my second beer. Go to Twin Peaks instead.
(1)Devin M.
Food is average at best, but good beer selection and great staff.
(3)Steve M.
2 stars for the manager contacting me immediately. Well done. He offered to make things right. While I won't accept anything in the way of "freebees" I do appreciate the fact that they cared enough to make the effort.
(2)Stephanie W.
Service decent, food very average. Not someplace to take your kids. Had a chicken sandwich - breast was processed, not fresh or high quality. Server was nice, but literally brought gallons of soda to the table without checking to see if we wanted our kids to drink gallons. Not very busy - wonder if this place will make it.

I wanted to watch Monday Night Football with my Dad and there are a lot of choices in the Boise / Meridian area. What sets Titled Kilt apart from the rest is their specials during the game. $3 pints which gets you a raffle ticket for drawings in the 4th Quarter, the Hoppy Hour specials cannot be overlooked. Not sure what to get, go for the pint of fries in the flavor you like. Great for us. My Dad got his and I got mine. The spicy ketchup and spicy mustard added flavor. We also ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage Springs Rolls. I'll admit I was not too sure, but they were spot on. Flavor, texture, and they were freshly cooked. The star of the night was our server, Kelsey. She was very professional, friendly, caring, and genuine. With my Dad owning his own restaurant for many years coupled with my years of customer service and management in the restaurant industry, Kelsey is a superstar and definitely any new customers should ask for her. Back to the game and food for a moment, We ordered the Nachos and the Traditional Wings in the Garlic Parmesan sauce. Nachos were ok at best, but my Dad didn't care, my wings were great. Just the way I prefer them. Kelsey checked in with us throughout the game and keep the pints coming and visited early and often. Now, we know that reviewers are going to say that the Titled Klit girls are suppose to be flirty, and while that may be your experience, we found Kelsey, the staff which included guys in kilts, and the manager to be professional and customer service focused. There was nothing fake or sleazy about our experience or anything that we noticed during our visit. There was even a group of 8 including wife and baby that enjoyed their visit in the side dinning room. The NFL game was great. The Colts seemed to clearly have Eagles on their heels, but a late interception really started the momentum swing to the Eagles and the Eagles won with 3 seconds to go. Wait, there's more. The raffle drawing includes 2 authentic jerseys of the teams playing. That's right, I'll repeat that again, One of the prizes was your choice of either a LeSean McCoy jersey or Andrew Luck jersey. Again, not replicas but authentic. Plus other prizes. This is our destination for MNF and should be the treasure valley's choice as well. An awesome experience, that me and my 70 year old Dad won't forget. C'mon by and visit the TK and ask for Kelsey and you'll have an awesome time.

What did you really expect? Food and drinks are average bar fare. Servers are scantily clad and about what you'd expect for a place whose reputation depends on just such an ambiance.

I went to dinner tonight with my husband and his best friend at the Tilted Kilt. I had Irish Stew, they had a burger and a chicken salad. Everyone agreed the food was terrible. My stew looked like Alpo dog food and tasted what I imagine it would taste like. Im pretty sure it was Denty Moore with a splash of beer in it.. The service was excellent but the men complained the girls were too professional and wished they would have been a little more flirty. I imagine that did not happen respectfully because I was at dinner with them. Kudos to that. The salad was below McDonalds quality salad. At least McDonald warms up your chicken. The only thing great about the Tilted Kilt is that they do give military discounts to active members with id. We all agreed we would not come back and continue the bad reviews we heard and ignored before coming there.

I've been to the Tilted Kilt twice. I had traditional wings both times with the kilt burner sauce. The sauce is hot, but not over the top. They were pretty good. The beer selection was good as well. Who are we kidding though. You don't go to the tilted kilt to eat. You go there to have a beer and gawk. The hostess and waitresses are all very cute and very friendly. It's a fun place to go with a few buddies and relive your youth.

We went to the Titled Kilt the other night. In many mays it's a Hooters. Lots of skin to look at and actually more TVs than most places in town. It probably would be a good place to see a game. But with $6 pints, it's a little pricey for a pub. The food was decent. Service was decent (though it did seem like it was our server's first job waiting tables...). There was a manager though working the floor. She was great!
(3)Meghan H.
The food was okay. I wasn't overly impressed and found it to be a little more expensive than I thought it should be for the quality. I probably would not go back- the atmosphere, the price, and the food were just ok.
(2)Vicki H.
The interior of the restaurant is very nice and comfy. Although I am not a big fan of "brestaurants" as a rule, I thought the servers were good. Friendly and attentive. Wish I could say the same about the food. We had 2 apps at the happy hour price. Beef skewers were ok, but thin and cool to the touch. Both portions were small and not that tasty. Then hubby and I shared the the shepherds pie. We are huge fans of this item but NOT at this place. To me the pie tasted like it had been frozen and reheated just for us! And then topped with instant mash potatoes and a bit of cheese. Expensive for the amount of food.
(3)David H.
Good atmosphere, attractive staff, undersized portions, good service, did find two hairs in food so that might need to be addressed.
