My favorite coffee spot in BoDo (downtown Boise). I love both the Fireball (choc & orange) and the Jack Hammer (honey & cinnamon).

I couldn't disagree more with this John under me from New York. I'm more of a fan of Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters across the street. But Thomas Hammer is very good coffee. And John was right, it is a very urbany looking coffee shop with many people on laptops. But I've lived in Boise for 20 years and every experience I've had with Thomas Hammer has been enjoyable. The coffee is DELICIOUS

We love going to Thomas Hammer - it's our go-to downtown coffee joint. The staff is friendly and remembers our order. The coffee is not your typical burnt-bean mega chain coffee, so don't be surprised if you need an extra shot. The coffee is delicious and caffeinated:)

I always always love Thomas Hammer coffee, and this coffeehouse in BODO is a great place to work or relax. Lots of seating, lots of windows and delicious coffee! Doesn't get much better than that. Definitely try the El Diablo - a mocha made with spicy chili powder and spices. So good!
