Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Such a short walk from the Red lion Hotel! I got the personal pan pepperoni pizza with thin crust. It was very reasonably priced and it was delicious!!

I'll rate this the same as I did for the Eagle location. Like I said on their review - Not authentic Italian, but good nonetheless. Came here for a meal after a day at Bogus. It did not disappoint (but the snow conditions did). Yeah maybe this place is old and a little beat up, but it's always been this way so the charm would be lost to me if they remodeled.

I have been in here multiple times and every time has been great food and that great service. The most recent time I was there my server was Katie she was very friendly and helpful .

Good service. But i got a burger and minimal fries for ten dollars. Fries were good. Water was good. Burger was meh.

Excellent food and service. The french dip is fabulous! House Salad is a nice mix! Fries are perfect texture. Smoky Mountain is an awesome relaxing dining experience. Prices are reasonable and great location! Also tried the cheese pizza and it's yummy! This place is very relaxing with nice seating options and easy parking.

After 30 minutes, our good is not here but the carafe of ice water the waitress dropped on the floor at the next table is still under our table, on the table and the ice cubes have perilously melted in the only access to the restroom. No pizza, pasta or calzone is this good.

5 years ago this was my favorite Italian in town. Not sure what happened (management or owner change perhaps?) but things are far from what they used to be. I don't recommend them anymore after giving them a couple extra chances over the last few years things are still not good - I won't go back again.

I'm a fan of their "Build Your Own" pizza. The personal-size pizza is just right for one person and is reasonably priced as well. The crust was perfect and they don't scimp on the toppings. They could stand to boost their customer service a bit, but it wasn't horrible. And in case you didn't know, their restaurant consists of two houses that they connected with a hallway. I don't know about you, but I found that to be pretty cool.

The only reason this location doesn't get more than three stars from me is the service. I have been here several times as it is close to my office, but we tend to avoid it because the service is SO slow. It is a bright and cheerful atmosphere with some great courtyard views. The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly enough- but SLOW SLOW SLOW. Also, it's very hard to get the servers attention most of the time.

Imagine an Applebee's or TGI Friday's with a local flair. Add in a bunch of families and old folks, and this is the place that comes out. The food is meh. I've had better pizza and salad at plenty of other places. Maybe it's a better place to go when there's a game on TV to share with a bigger crowd. But during lunch hour it's pretty depressing.

I had a gift card to burn so a bud and I decided to burn it here. I had been here once for a work party before, but this was the first experience I had with the servers and staff. The pizza we ordered "The Smoky" was a bit too spicy for my taste, but overall was well-prepared. There was originally a mistake - the wrong pizza was sent to us, however the servers allowed us to take one slice each from it as a goodwill gesture. Don't see that too often. The only downside to the place were the prices. If it weren't for the gift card, I probably would not eat here unless I got a raise.

I like this place. My wife and I went here the other day and was not sure about a pizza place in a refurbished 1940's era home. The food was pretty good. We had split a personal pizza "The ultimate" and had an order of spring rolls. Very good choice I must say. A great light lunch with drinks for two. Only about $20.00 not including tip. I would recommend eating here. Prices not bad at all. Affordable unless you go all out and get the biggest baddest meal they have. Then it can get a little costly. But you still can eat a good meal even if your on a budget.

I guess I'm not getting it here. Too bad since I can walk to it. Maybe my two experiences would've been better if I had dined in or sat on the patio, kinda like eating in Hyde Park where the food isn't great but the environment you're in makes the experience more aesthetically pleasing. The calzone was pretty puny and didn't fill me up. Heavy on average-tasting bread and light on fillings. I needed to use the accompanying marinara to enhance the taste, which is a bad sign for me since I never needed marinara when eating good calzones growing up. I ordered the same ingredients I always want in one, and this was not a good calzone to me. Went back later to try the pizza. A little better than your Pizza Huts of the world. There was something cheap and artificial-tasting about the tomato sauce that turned me off to it. At $15 for a large (14") one-topping pizza, this should've been a lot better than what I got. It's really not much better than Papa Murphy's (which is in the strip mall caddy corner to Smoky), and I'd rather go to Papa Murphy's and pay close to half of what I would get at Smoky than feel like I got ripped off at Smoky again. Boring and underwhelming.

Food was good, place was nice, service okay. We stopped in for lunch and to watch some of the football games that were on TV. Unfortunately, in the dining areas no TV's. Are you kidding me? Didn't want to sit at the bar with the whole family so kind of positioned myself at the end of the table where I could look through the dining room to see the TV in the bar area. Nice setting downtown in an old house but not having any TV's compromised us having a really good time and likely spending a lot of money.

Overall bland, anemic food. My pizza was underdone and loaded with wilted veggies and way too much cheese. Ingredients were heaped high in the middle, leaving the rest of the slice bare. The crust was cracker thin and overdone on the outside while managing to be underdone in the middle. It had obviously sat under a heat lamp for quite a while as well. The drink list was disappointing, no seasonal beer. Service was slow and indifferent. One offer for a refill during my hour and a half. Embarrassing....

I've only been here once (that's why I didn't give it that last star), but definitely will go back. Everyone I was with had only good things to say about their meals. I had a simple angel hair pasta dish with tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and chicken, but it was really, really good (I was trying to avoid dairy - they actually serve a no-cheese pizza for those who have dairy allergies, etc.). My husband ordered a pizza and loved it (mainly because of how well the crust was baked and the flavor of the marinara sauce). Service was friendly and atmosphere was cozy and fun.

Smoky Mountain in general has fabulous food. This one stands out because of the back patio. there is a large tree that provides shade and sets a lovely mood. The selection ranges from pizza to pasta to salads and they are all pretty tasty. Service is standard and just a nice place to eat with family or friends.

You can always count on "Smoky's" on a hot summer evening; the patio is as cool as you can be outdoors and the local musicians add to the mood. Indoors in the winter, the old-bungalow construction is homey and familiar. I always get the black bean ravioli and I'm glad that they offer carry out (and delivery) so that if I have a craving I can order it on the fly. Service can be relaxed but always friendly.
