Good service very friendly waitstaff food was average... accommodating for our dietary restrictions. When our fiod came out with a sauce we didn't see on the menu (our fault for not double checking) our waitress replaced the order with sn apology and a smile.. The only thing keeping it from being a 5 star instead of the four star was our waitress did not offer condiments for our burgers.

My daughter loves this place. Open 24 hours and great for after a night on the town or they late night urge to eat. Which is usually my issue. We have our favorite waiter(Bobby) which always makes it so worth the visit. Food is decent pie is amazing.

The BMP omelet is a great way to start your date. Not too but that you can't want your toast (let's face it: Toast is the reason one eats brbreakfast), but not too small that you can't enjoy the taste!

What used to be a semi regular late night bite has now gone to bust. Bobby and Tom are excellent servers, I'd go so far as to say unicorns of servers. Just phenomenal men, who are courteous, efficient and attentive. The past couple of visits here, unfortunately I did not see them. Tonight's visit has convinced me that returning would be an absolute foolish idea. And the service was so indescribably terrible, we won't return. My boyfriend and I stopped by for a quick dinner after work. The place was quiet for a Saturday night, to be expected with the state fair going on after all. This said, one would expect better service, with less people in the establishment. We order drinks and they don't arrive for about 10 minutes. Ten minutes without a drink....on a slow Saturday night, seriously? He takes our order, and we get our food, and he does not offer condiments of any kind. Some ketchup would have been nice, at least an offer is what one should do. Nope, nothing...Just a quick "here's your lemon" for your fish and chips, after I'm about halfway done with my entree. Also, there wasn't a check back but once after we finished our food. Then our server gets my boyfriend a refill of his drink...which we'd tried to get his attention several times to let him know we needed some more napkins and drinks. Then when he finally drops off our check, about 15 minutes after we finished our food...It was covered in water, and he half heartedly inquires if we want pie. An offer we quickly decline so we can get going. We go to the register and the shift manager I'm guessing she is, tells us "Oh I'm busy, multitasking, give me a minute." She stops what she's doing to scold a server, whom I'm guessing is new...then yells at the kitchen about something and then finally rings it up so we can go. I won't return due to poor service, because the service received was just ridiculously terrible, and frankly...I'm okay with going elsewhere.

I love this place! The service is great consistent and run how a true breakfast cafe should be ran. Price: it ranges from you basic meals around $6-8 up to the bigger servings and more meat related plates $8-12 but the quality is always the same. The French toast is amazing, the pie is well... We all know about the pie it's a must have. I love how this place is open 24/7 I usually spend several nights a week here pretty late reading and studying to I really appreciate that. What I will say I think the strongest and best part about Sharis that is overlooked are the details. The coffee pot they leave on the table, the flavored coffee creamers, the large portions without a big price tag. Even the silverware and napkins are higher quality. The plates and mugs are seriously the cleanest of any restaurant I've been to, and the booths are always well maintained and clean. And for these as well as the quality of the food is why I love this place so much. My one buff with this place (mind you it is small) I wish they would remodel the bathrooms they are clean but just old and out of date. But that doesn't affect the food or my experience so I am fine with it lol Either way Sharis is a great place and a must have several times a month

We are in town on vacation and we had breakfast. Service was great!! The food came right out!! Food taste great!! It's strawberry season and we might go back tonight for a pie.. We're really enjoying Boise!!

Me and my family just went here actually in the middle of the night on black Friday... First off it took about 20-25 minutes to get seated because I guess they were really understaffed? Which I understand to an extant because it was 3 in the morning but I think a lot of people eat in the middle of the night on black Friday... The reason I'm giving this sharis 4 stars is because of our server. His name was Bobby and he was awesome. He said he had a rule that if he was on his game his guests would never pour their own coffee. And he was right even for it being crazy in the middle of the night. He was really funny and when the cooks messed up some of our orders he tried really hard to make things better(i would say he did make things better but two of my family members were just being really picky and no one could please them, I was really embarrassed) but anyways even though our meals weren't perfect and it took a while I really enjoyed having him as our server!

Stopped in for a bite to eat on a recent outing at lunch time. Place was not crowded, all our food, standard fare was out promptly. Friendly server, drinks kept full while we we eating. Portions seemed a little small, but worked out fine as we didn't walk out of the restaurant completely stuffed.

Here resides the happiest person on the planet. I've run across good waitresses - this one is right up there with the best of them and I've run across fakey happy people who were bubbly, etc; but this waitress is one of the nicest, happiest people on the planet. Truly a joy to be served by her. Gotta get her name next time but when you go there, look around until you find her. She's there in the AMs.

Oh.... Shari, our love, holds on..... holds..... WTF. Remember that song by Steve Perry? Well, my fellow 80s friend, that's what I wanted to sing after biting into my husband's French dip sandwich. Quite possibly one of the best I've ever had. I can't even remember what I ordered.... but I was all over my husband's plate. The fries were to perfection. And if you have ever been to Boise, they serve all kinds of sauces to pair up with your potato friends. Service was friendly.... decor.... ehhh.... a bit like a 70s diner. Carpet everywhere. Shari's is known for their pies. We did not have any dessert... well, because I was full from eating my husband's lunch. There are a few locations in Boise.... kind of like Carrow's to California.

Stopped here on July 5th before catching a plane back to California. The service was nice, servers friendly and courteous. The food I ordered was steak and eggs. My only real complaint was the steak. It was really old tasting and nasty. If I'd had more time, I'd definately sent it back, but didn't have the time. The rest of the food was ok, but one bad thing seems to spoil all the rest. Sorry Shari's. Can't do you again.

Oh Shari's! The pies here are great, the food is good. The only thing stopping me from giving them full marks is the wait staff is usually very slow, which might be understandable given their popularity.
