Came back on a date night with the Mister. This time, we ordered the orange peel chicken (delish with just the right amount of heat) and the lemon scallops (drizzled in a delicate lemon sauce--very lovely). I ordered their organic agave margarita, which I love every time and love even more when it's during happy hour ($6!). My darling got their apple martini, which was a very sweet choice--a positive or negative depending on your perspective (it was very sweet to me...and I like sweet). We always enjoy their ambiance and the service was attentive, prompt, and just plain perfect. Still a fan!

Yes, as good as it gets. I've been to this particular Chang's twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. It's very well managed you can tell. The employees are fantastic and easy on the eyes too! The food is delicious and they get it out to you quickly and always HOT. It's immaculate clean and the staff is impeccably dressed. If you're a fan of the chain, this location will not disappoint. If you've never been to a PF Chang's before, this is a good location to try them out. Parking can be an issue though. And they get real busy for dinner. Go early for lunch and you'll walk right in and be seated. Enjoy!!

I have been to PF Changs 3 times before my visit to this one, and each time I got food poisoning, so it was a big leap for me to try it again! It's nothing fancy, just a typical chain restaurant. The inside is nice. I went on a Monday evening and it wasn't that crowded. The staff was pretty friendly right when my party walked in, which was a nice way to start off the meal. I had the ahi tuna as an appetizer, which was just okay. I had the pan fried noodles for my entree, which I did not like at all! Ugh. My friends entrees looked nice though. The food always came out extremely fast, which was weird to me. Like Fast-food restaurant fast. Our waiter was also kind of weird and I barely understood anything he said. He was nice though. One thing i really didn't like was the fact that they over-explain EVERYTHING. And I mean everything, from the soy sauce to the plates. Like sheesh, just let me eat. I probably wouldn't come back here because I'm not into Americanized Chinese food, and I'm just not that into chain restaurants.

We dropped in here for drinks during a staycation in downtown Boise. The bartender was great... very attentive and friendly. I had one of their coconut lemon sours and it was excellent! We decided to have a few appetizers, and started with the lettuce wraps. They were terrible.... mushy texture, no flavor, didn't really seem fresh at all. They were so bad, in fact, that we didn't order any other food. I would go back to this restaurant, but only for the coconut lemon sour and the service....

This is a very nice restaurant, aesthetically speaking. Service was better than most, we were not rushed at all. They did a visual check more often then just asking us, which was great to have. It does become tedious when they check on you every 5 minutes or so. My only issue is their food, it is honestly sad. Display is nice, flavor not so nice. I have been here several times now trying different stir fries each time. Their cook loves him some vinegar and you can tell! Their rice is low grade short rice. I would put it on par with what you can get at the Boise River Cafe on BSU campus. Personally I would rather go for quality rather than quantity. For food you will not find quality. Go down the street to the Twin Dragon or Golden Star, even the 3 Chinese buffets have better food than P.F. Chang's. You will be hard pressed to find better service with the waiters and waitresses.

I was surprised that I received a call from PF Chang's a week later to apologize for the problems with the reservation. They even sent me a gift card. So today, a Saturday, I made another reservation for 7:30 pm. We arrived at about 7:25 to check in. We were told it would be another 10 to 15 minute wait. After 25 minutes I told the host never mind. We were tired of waiting for a reservation that we made well in advance. What is the the old saying "Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me for believing you..." I just wish there was a way to do negative rating stars.

I love this chain! I love the northern ribs and the amazing service. This is not the case in Boise. The food is terrible and staff are all under aged with little or no experience or skill. Well, the food is mostly amazing, especially the seared tuna appetizer, but who picks the playlist for this restaurant??? I do not want to feel like I am entering a jeans store for teenagers when I eat at an Asian fusion place. Tone it down. Don't let the music interfere with the food (and it did, despite that I sat outside). The music interrupted tastes, thoughts and good feelings. Sorry P F Chang, let the food be the music and have something more subdued as background noise. Funny thing, I have never had this music experience at other P F Changs so I wonder if the suddenly have a new national music coordinator who is inspired by teenage mall store music? I am from California, where the Chinese food is marvelous. I hadn't found a restaurant here in Boise that compared to what I was accustomed to in Cali. Until I tried PF Changs. PF Changs has the atmosphere of a night out, or a date night gone right. It had dim light, a bar, and table service for sauces. The won-ton soup is delicious and unique, they have fresh fried rice, and their most popular dish beef and broccoli is to die for. Be sure to try the duck if you are a fan, you will not be disappointed. I cannot review the drinks other than their hot tea, which is what I've had when Ive gone. Their peach and jazmine tea are good.

Just in to Boise from Reno today, and went to PF Changs for lunch. We were seated right away, and our waiter, Tucker, came over right away, and took drink orders. We ordered the calamari appetizer, and crispy honey shrimp and double fried noodles with beef. The food came very quickly, and was totally delicious. We had had their calamari before, and that was consistent with other locations, but the shrimp dish and the noodle dish were both new to us. The shrimp was heaven in your mouth. No way in hell would we have let that dish get luke warm, much less cold! It was amazing. The noodle dish was tasty ass well. Tucker mixed our dipping sauce for us, and I have to say, he was one of the best waiters we have had anywhere - definitely the best at any PF Changs location, and we've been to a few. Drinks were refilled before we even knew we needed them. What a great experience. Both food and service were top notch.

I know this is not your typical Chinese restaurant with the usual chow mein dishes, etc., but my dining experiences here have been first rate both at lunch and at dinner. The wait staff is very efficient and helpful and sometimes the service has been a bit slow due to the extreme busyness of this place. I really like the food--some favorites are: Mongolian Beef, Orange Peel Shrimp, Honey Walnut Chicken, Crispy Green Beans and Lettuce Wraps, and for dessert, the Banana Spring Rolls--yum! It's a good idea to make a reservation here as it is a really popular place especially at dinnertime--lunchtime is not as busy and we've been able to get seated right away. This restaurant was a great addition to the BoDo area!

Majorly overpriced and totally forgettable food. I am no enemy of chains (and they do some things better than local establishments), but the food has to be at least good. This is not good food, and certainly not worth half of what they charge. It's a great location, and they have a nice bar for meeting up with a friend, but I would recommend taking off after a drink and seeking food elsewhere.

But they are always good at getting us in right on time with our reservations. The outside dining is really great. Gluten Free menu is solid. Good selection and you won't feel 'left out' when dining with other people. The flourless chocolate dessert is very tasty. The atmosphere of P.F Chang's is actually enjoyable; I prefer dimly lit restaurants and bars. However, the food we ordered was quite sub-par. The garlic chicken was very bland, and the second dish we ordered (I've forgotten what it was) was oddly textured and the flavor it did have wasn't very good. On the positive note, the chicken-lettuce wraps were very tasty. You can't expect much from a large chain restaurant with regards to authentic, flavorful Chinese food; and as expected P.F Chang's didn't deliver much. You'd be better off trying the various local establishments around Boise.

Came here day after her birthday to use the gift card she received. Great atmosphere and on a Monday evening, we walked right in and got seated immediately. We bought the two full dinner special. These guys are too much. Unless you want a production made and then repeated over and over, be very cautious about using the word "allergy" or "intolerance" or asking for an ingredient to be omitted from a menu item. That sort of absurd grandstanding aside, the food here is the usual substandard chain vaguely Chinese-y junk. They have added sushi here...not sure if that is across all of them. Chinese places making sushi...not too exciting there. Calamari was over-salted, which was the case with everything I had, except for the iced tea, which was oddly way better than I would have anticipated. Green beans were also salty and what they did to the asparagus was a borderline crime. The interior of this place is really, really nice, but the food came nowhere near to living up to that, which was the case I found repeatedly elsewhere also in Boise. I'm not a fan of this chain in general, but it had been a good long while since I'd been in one, so I thought I'd give another location a shot. This was not an especially good representative location for my return, both with the incredibly asinine service and the unacceptably slow times for food. May be back to the chain but definitely not here again.

Today was a special day for my family, and I decided to take my children to PF Changs for the first time. We live 45 minutes away. They have heard me rave about the lettuce wraps for a couple years. However, I am sad to say that I have never been more disappointed in a meal, or the service. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken satay. When it arrived, the chicken satay was dry and tasted like there was dirt on it from an unclean grill. The chicken and other fillings in my lettuce wraps were burnt, and tasted like soap-as though someone didn't rinse after washing the pan. After 15 minutes of sitting there, unattended to by our waitress, I explained that I was not happy with my order and said that I did not want a replacement. Instead of coming back with my check, 7 minutes later I had a new plate of lettuce wraps come out which I then had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a box. I wasted all of that time, hungry, just to take it with me and throw it in the garbage- because that's what it tasted like at home, cold and soggy. I then was made to pay for the order of lettuce wraps (that I didn't want replaced, just removed from my bill) which were poorly prepared, as well as dirty satay. I also had to pay for my children and I to eat elsewhere, as we were again 45 minutes from home and HUNGRY! I wasted an hour, $28 at PF Changs, $2.50 for parking, and an additional $20 for an edible lunch immediately after leaving the restaurant. We went there to celebrate my sons after attending an ADA event. I am not convinced that they just didn't give me the same attention because I was dining with children. Needless to say, be it with my husband, friends, or well mannered boys, WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Note to self... Don't go ANYWHERE in downtown Boise on prom night!!! Haha We did sit outside on the patio and enjoyed watching all of the beautiful dresses pass by. The restaurant was absolutely packed both inside, outside and the bar. I do believe that I'm they lost a star or two for abnormal circumstances. So let me just state right now that our server did a fabulous job! When the overhead heating malfunctioned the manager personally came out and apologized and offered to move our table. They also took one of the dishes off our bill because they forgot the cashews. We were definitely satisfied with the service and they were busting their butts with a packed house. My daughter had pad Thai with shrimp and she ate almost the entire dish. She said it was a little spicy but she really liked it. My highlights of the night were chicken lettuce wraps and the crispy honey shrimp. I don't think you can ever go wrong with those lettuce wraps... They're probably the most popular thing on the menu. I also went out on a limb and tried the white tangerine tea. I'm usually a peppermint type of gal but this was a pleasant surprise. I've already looked it up online (revolution tea) and plan on placing an order.

P.F. Chang's is a top-notch chain restaurant. They are definitely a big step up from Applebee's and Chili's. If you haven't been to a P.F. Chang's before, they aren't traditional American Chinese food, they are Asian fusion. Their service is usually fantastic as well. Also, while you are checking in on Yelp, check in on their app too, it has a reward program which I've been missing out on all this time LOL. Everything we've tried on our various visits has been delicious. Love the Koren BBQ Chicken on the menu. I like to get it with fried silken tofu rather than the chicken, and it's amazing because the fried tofu is excellently done and soaks up all the delicious sauce. Favorite appetizer is the handmade dumplings (if you like mushrooms, try the veggie version!) Favorite drink so far: Cucumber Strawberry Lemonade. I'm not usually a fan of cucumber, however, in this drink it is very refreshing! Tried the sushi options, they were quality, but rather boring if you love going out to sushi. Sushi lovers should probably adventure to other parts of the menu to avoid disapointment. We've had fantastic service 9 times out of 10 and a manager corrected the messed up order/ticket fabulously the time we did have an issue at our table. P.F. Chang's is on our regular rotation of fun places to eat out with the fam.

One might think if one has experienced one PF Chang's location, one has experienced them all. One would be right for menu. This is a chain with AmerChinAsianfusion food and every location has exactly the same items on exactly the same formatted menu. After two really miserable experinces for food quality and service at other PF Chang's locations (not to name names but the initials are Eugene, Oregon and Las Vegas, Nevada), I swear I had sworn off the chain for good. Good thing I changed my mind to give PF Chang's in Boise's BODO a try. For a first visit in, they impressed my husband and me on all fronts. We find ourselves fans. THE FOOD... ...was well prepared for what it is. Just set your expectations for what it is not. It is not authentic Chinese cuisine. It is a mass market chain. But the kitchen here got all the elements right for preparation and presentation. THE SERVICE... ... was stellar. The server's ability to answer questions about the menu was top notch and he went beyond that to make good suggestions. His attention and skill in delivering our food among three distinct courses as we requested was pitch perfect and everything arrived out of the kitchen at the right temperature. THE VIBE... ... was restful on the cusp of very late lunch hour on a weekday as there were few people inside. This is such a cavernous, not in the sense of yawming chasm cavern but in the sense of huge, space with umpteen tables that it is unlikely I would find it all that appealing at peak packed periods. In fact for all the hustle and bustle on the streets outside that we could see through the many big windows, we felt as if we were in a little relaxing cocoon. Which is just what we needed. THE PRICES... ...they do have a lunch menu for folks who like those kind of "combo plate" lunch arrangments. We never use those and so ordered from the main menu. A side, two appetizers and a main course all shared was $36 before tax and we had ample amount to bring home to share again for light dinner. THE GREEN BEANS... ... seriously, the wok cooked spicy green beans deserve their own special mention. You'll find them on the side dish menu. They where wonderful, the dipping sauce was fantastic. I had the cantonese lemon chicken. It was tasty and presentation was exquisite. My partner had the Orange chicken. She said it was the best she had ever had. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food came out in a timely fashion. Also if you like tea, the dragon oolong is wonderful and paired with with my lemon chicken.

As someone who spent time in Hong Kong and ate real Chinese food compared with the fake Chinese served in the United States, I didn't have much confidence in P.F. Chang's chain offerings. And I wasn't disappointed. It was the first time I had ever been asked if we had reservations -- walking in at 4 p.m. on a Saturday. I wondered if all the tables were full at what I thought would not be a busy time. When we were escorted to our table for two, there were many empty tables throughout the restaurant. That seemed very odd to have been asked about reservations. After we were seated and given menus, we waited for 10 minutes and hadn't even been given a glass of water. After talking about that among ourselves, it was like they had hidden microphones. All of a sudden, a manager appeared from nowhere and apologized for the lack of attention. We ordered the four-course prix-fixe offering, with hot and sour soup, egg rolls, sesame chicken and Mongolian beef. The chicken had very little flavor and wasn't spicy at all, despite by the menu claim to the contrary. The beef, on the other hand, was quite good. After being ignored initially, our server was pleasant and attentive.

I have been more pleased than disappointed in our couple of visits to PFC. Being the sad and sorry state of Asian food in Boise, especially Chinese, I find a place for PFC in Boise. I know, I know, they are not authentic Chinese food, but neither is any other place in Boise. The one thing I find good about PFC's renditions are that they don't all end up tasting the same. Also, they know how to "dry" stir fry and their dishes aren't swimming in sauce. They also have some dim-sum Happy Hour dishes that are good. It is almost impossibly hard to get good Dim Sum in Boise, and they do what they have pretty well. Service was excellent at the early dinner we had. Joshua was our server and besides being cordial, he could answer questions knowledgeably. We had their Valentine's Day fixed price spicy dinner. One appetizer, 2 entree dishes and a dessert for $45 (per couple) was a pretty good deal in our book. Enjoyed a cocktail with the appetizer. Bartender did a good job on those drinks. The entrees were served with brown rice (our favorite) and were nice and spicy, sort of in the Szechuan style. More than enough for two, with another meal taken home from the leftovers. The dessert was either The Wall of Chocolate cake (hugh) or the Banana Spring Rolls, served with coconut ice cream. An especially good combination of bananas fried in an egg roll wrapper and served with the Ice Cream. They have changed the Warrior Card from a 10% off freebie to a points system. Just changed it. We will go back as they have dishes that are different and pretty well done for so-called Asian/Chinese fusion.

P.F. Chang's is a top-notch chain restaurant. They are definitely a big step up from Applebee's and Chili's. If you haven't been to a P.F. Chang's before, they aren't traditional American Chinese food, they are Asian fusion. Their service is usually fantastic as well. Also, while you are checking in on Yelp, check in on their app too, it has a reward program which I've been missing out on all this time LOL. Everything we've tried on our various visits has been delicious. Love the Koren BBQ Chicken on the menu. I like to get it with fried silken tofu rather than the chicken, and it's amazing because the fried tofu is excellently done and soaks up all the delicious sauce. Favorite appetizer is the handmade dumplings (if you like mushrooms, try the veggie version!) Favorite drink so far: Cucumber Strawberry Lemonade. I'm not usually a fan of cucumber, however, in this drink it is very refreshing! Tried the sushi options, they were quality, but rather boring if you love going out to sushi. Sushi lovers should probably adventure to other parts of the menu to avoid disapointment. We've had fantastic service 9 times out of 10 and a manager corrected the messed up order/ticket fabulously the time we did have an issue at our table. P.F. Chang's is on our regular rotation of fun places to eat out with the fam.

Yes, as good as it gets. I've been to this particular Chang's twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. It's very well managed you can tell. The employees are fantastic and easy on the eyes too! The food is delicious and they get it out to you quickly and always HOT. It's immaculate clean and the staff is impeccably dressed. If you're a fan of the chain, this location will not disappoint. If you've never been to a PF Chang's before, this is a good location to try them out. Parking can be an issue though. And they get real busy for dinner. Go early for lunch and you'll walk right in and be seated. Enjoy!!

These guys are too much. Unless you want a production made and then repeated over and over, be very cautious about using the word "allergy" or "intolerance" or asking for an ingredient to be omitted from a menu item. That sort of absurd grandstanding aside, the food here is the usual substandard chain vaguely Chinese-y junk. They have added sushi here...not sure if that is across all of them. Chinese places making sushi...not too exciting there. Calamari was over-salted, which was the case with everything I had, except for the iced tea, which was oddly way better than I would have anticipated. Green beans were also salty and what they did to the asparagus was a borderline crime. The interior of this place is really, really nice, but the food came nowhere near to living up to that, which was the case I found repeatedly elsewhere also in Boise. I'm not a fan of this chain in general, but it had been a good long while since I'd been in one, so I thought I'd give another location a shot. This was not an especially good representative location for my return, both with the incredibly asinine service and the unacceptably slow times for food. May be back to the chain but definitely not here again.

Today was a special day for my family, and I decided to take my children to PF Changs for the first time. We live 45 minutes away. They have heard me rave about the lettuce wraps for a couple years. However, I am sad to say that I have never been more disappointed in a meal, or the service. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken satay. When it arrived, the chicken satay was dry and tasted like there was dirt on it from an unclean grill. The chicken and other fillings in my lettuce wraps were burnt, and tasted like soap-as though someone didn't rinse after washing the pan. After 15 minutes of sitting there, unattended to by our waitress, I explained that I was not happy with my order and said that I did not want a replacement. Instead of coming back with my check, 7 minutes later I had a new plate of lettuce wraps come out which I then had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a box. I wasted all of that time, hungry, just to take it with me and throw it in the garbage- because that's what it tasted like at home, cold and soggy. I then was made to pay for the order of lettuce wraps (that I didn't want replaced, just removed from my bill) which were poorly prepared, as well as dirty satay. I also had to pay for my children and I to eat elsewhere, as we were again 45 minutes from home and HUNGRY! I wasted an hour, $28 at PF Changs, $2.50 for parking, and an additional $20 for an edible lunch immediately after leaving the restaurant. We went there to celebrate my sons after attending an ADA event. I am not convinced that they just didn't give me the same attention because I was dining with children. Needless to say, be it with my husband, friends, or well mannered boys, WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Note to self... Don't go ANYWHERE in downtown Boise on prom night!!! Haha We did sit outside on the patio and enjoyed watching all of the beautiful dresses pass by. The restaurant was absolutely packed both inside, outside and the bar. I do believe that I'm they lost a star or two for abnormal circumstances. So let me just state right now that our server did a fabulous job! When the overhead heating malfunctioned the manager personally came out and apologized and offered to move our table. They also took one of the dishes off our bill because they forgot the cashews. We were definitely satisfied with the service and they were busting their butts with a packed house. My daughter had pad Thai with shrimp and she ate almost the entire dish. She said it was a little spicy but she really liked it. My highlights of the night were chicken lettuce wraps and the crispy honey shrimp. I don't think you can ever go wrong with those lettuce wraps... They're probably the most popular thing on the menu. I also went out on a limb and tried the white tangerine tea. I'm usually a peppermint type of gal but this was a pleasant surprise. I've already looked it up online (revolution tea) and plan on placing an order.

Only complaint would be many younger employees like to hover around front hostess desk so you have to get up walk across restaurant for service. Hard to get attention when they're chatty Kathy's.

One might think if one has experienced one PF Chang's location, one has experienced them all. One would be right for menu. This is a chain with AmerChinAsianfusion food and every location has exactly the same items on exactly the same formatted menu. After two really miserable experinces for food quality and service at other PF Chang's locations (not to name names but the initials are Eugene, Oregon and Las Vegas, Nevada), I swear I had sworn off the chain for good. Good thing I changed my mind to give PF Chang's in Boise's BODO a try. For a first visit in, they impressed my husband and me on all fronts. We find ourselves fans. THE FOOD... ...was well prepared for what it is. Just set your expectations for what it is not. It is not authentic Chinese cuisine. It is a mass market chain. But the kitchen here got all the elements right for preparation and presentation. THE SERVICE... ... was stellar. The server's ability to answer questions about the menu was top notch and he went beyond that to make good suggestions. His attention and skill in delivering our food among three distinct courses as we requested was pitch perfect and everything arrived out of the kitchen at the right temperature. THE VIBE... ... was restful on the cusp of very late lunch hour on a weekday as there were few people inside. This is such a cavernous, not in the sense of yawming chasm cavern but in the sense of huge, space with umpteen tables that it is unlikely I would find it all that appealing at peak packed periods. In fact for all the hustle and bustle on the streets outside that we could see through the many big windows, we felt as if we were in a little relaxing cocoon. Which is just what we needed. THE PRICES... ...they do have a lunch menu for folks who like those kind of "combo plate" lunch arrangments. We never use those and so ordered from the main menu. A side, two appetizers and a main course all shared was $36 before tax and we had ample amount to bring home to share again for light dinner. THE GREEN BEANS... ... seriously, the wok cooked spicy green beans deserve their own special mention. You'll find them on the side dish menu. Came back on a date night with the Mister. This time, we ordered the orange peel chicken (delish with just the right amount of heat) and the lemon scallops (drizzled in a delicate lemon sauce--very lovely). I ordered their organic agave margarita, which I love every time and love even more when it's during happy hour ($6!). My darling got their apple martini, which was a very sweet choice--a positive or negative depending on your perspective (it was very sweet to me...and I like sweet). This is a very nice restaurant, aesthetically speaking. Service was better than most, we were not rushed at all. They did a visual check more often then just asking us, which was great to have. It does become tedious when they check on you every 5 minutes or so. My only issue is their food, it is honestly sad. Display is nice, flavor not so nice. I have been here several times now trying different stir fries each time. Their cook loves him some vinegar and you can tell! Their rice is low grade short rice. I would put it on par with what you can get at the Boise River Cafe on BSU campus. Personally I would rather go for quality rather than quantity. For food you will not find quality. Go down the street to the Twin Dragon or Golden Star, even the 3 Chinese buffets have better food than P.F. Chang's. You will be hard pressed to find better service with the waiters and waitresses.

With all the choices for Chinese food in Boise, this place isn't my first choice. Lettuce wraps are amazing just about all entrees are amazing but be prepared to pay for quality.

I frequent P.F. Changs on a regular basis and always enjoy it. Hot Sake is the best buzz and I never seem to get a hang over from it! As for the food, I don't often do full dinner, but usually share a few appetizers with my friends. I love the new orange zest edamame. The potstickers are also a regular favorite!

I was surprised that I received a call from PF Chang's a week later to apologize for the problems with the reservation. They even sent me a gift card. So today, a Saturday, I made another reservation for 7:30 pm. We arrived at about 7:25 to check in. We were told it would be another 10 to 15 minute wait. After 25 minutes I told the host never mind. We were tired of waiting for a reservation that we made well in advance. What is the the old saying "Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me for believing you..." I just wish there was a way to do negative rating stars.

I love this chain! I love the northern ribs and the amazing service. This is not the case in Boise. The food is terrible and staff are all under aged with little or no experience or skill. I do not want to feel like I am entering a jeans store for teenagers when I eat at an Asian fusion place. Tone it down. Don't let the music interfere with the food (and it did, despite that I sat outside). The music interrupted tastes, thoughts and good feelings. Sorry P F Chang, let the food be the music and have something more subdued as background noise. I am from California, where the Chinese food is marvelous. I hadn't found a restaurant here in Boise that compared to what I was accustomed to in Cali. Until I tried PF Changs. PF Changs has the atmosphere of a night out, or a date night gone right. It had dim light, a bar, and table service for sauces. The won-ton soup is delicious and unique, they have fresh fried rice, and their most popular dish beef and broccoli is to die for. Be sure to try the duck if you are a fan, you will not be disappointed. I cannot review the drinks other than their hot tea, which is what I've had when Ive gone. Their peach and jazmine tea are good.

The garlic chicken was very bland, and the second dish we ordered (I've forgotten what it was) was oddly textured and the flavor it did have wasn't very good. On the positive note, the chicken-lettuce wraps were very tasty. You can't expect much from a large chain restaurant with regards to authentic, flavorful Chinese food; and as expected P.F Chang's didn't deliver much. You'd be better off trying the various local establishments around Boise.

This is not good food, and certainly not worth half of what they charge. It's a great location, and they have a nice bar for meeting up with a friend, but I would recommend taking off after a drink and seeking food elsewhere.

My weakness for dinner in Boise. We love it in here. The atmosphere and the servers are always good. I would STRONGLY ADVISE getting a reservation on the weekend. Or you may end up waiting hours. But they are always good at getting us in right on time with our reservations. The outside dining is really great. I love Bo-Do so sitting outside at PF's is really fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe of the city! Favorites: Lettuce wraps (obvi), Kung Pao Chicken, and the Mongolian Beef with added greens! YUM! Also get the banana dessert. It's to die for & is cheap! :) YUM!

Came here day after her birthday to use the gift card she received. Great atmosphere and on a Monday evening, we walked right in and got seated immediately. We bought the two full dinner special. Each of us got a soup, appetizer, two entrees and two desserts. She got a bonus birthday dessert. I got the orange peel chicken and she got the spicy chicken. Both were great and very filling, after the soup and appetizer. Service was very nice and a manager asked how we enjoyed our experience. We'll be coming back here for downtown evenings.

Just in to Boise from Reno today, and went to PF Changs for lunch. We were seated right away, and our waiter, Tucker, came over right away, and took drink orders. We ordered the calamari appetizer, and crispy honey shrimp and double fried noodles with beef. The food came very quickly, and was totally delicious. We had had their calamari before, and that was consistent with other locations, but the shrimp dish and the noodle dish were both new to us. The shrimp was heaven in your mouth. No way in hell would we have let that dish get luke warm, much less cold! It was amazing. The noodle dish was tasty ass well. Tucker mixed our dipping sauce for us, and I have to say, he was one of the best waiters we have had anywhere - definitely the best at any PF Changs location, and we've been to a few. Drinks were refilled before we even knew we needed them. What a great experience. Both food and service were top notch.

I know this is not your typical Chinese restaurant with the usual chow mein dishes, etc., but my dining experiences here have been first rate both at lunch and at dinner. The wait staff is very efficient and helpful and sometimes the service has been a bit slow due to the extreme busyness of this place. I really like the food--some favorites are: Mongolian Beef, Orange Peel Shrimp, Honey Walnut Chicken, Crispy Green Beans and Lettuce Wraps, and for dessert, the Banana Spring Rolls--yum! It's a good idea to make a reservation here as it is a really popular place especially at dinnertime--lunchtime is not as busy and we've been able to get seated right away. This restaurant was a great addition to the BoDo area!

I have been more pleased than disappointed in our couple of visits to PFC. Being the sad and sorry state of Asian food in Boise, especially Chinese, I find a place for PFC in Boise. I know, I know, they are not authentic Chinese food, but neither is any other place in Boise. The one thing I find good about PFC's renditions are that they don't all end up tasting the same. Also, they know how to "dry" stir fry and their dishes aren't swimming in sauce. They also have some dim-sum Happy Hour dishes that are good. It is almost impossibly hard to get good Dim Sum in Boise, and they do what they have pretty well. Service was excellent at the early dinner we had. Joshua was our server and besides being cordial, he could answer questions knowledgeably. We had their Valentine's Day fixed price spicy dinner. One appetizer, 2 entree dishes and a dessert for $45 (per couple) was a pretty good deal in our book. Enjoyed a cocktail with the appetizer. Bartender did a good job on those drinks. The entrees were served with brown rice (our favorite) and were nice and spicy, sort of in the Szechuan style. More than enough for two, with another meal taken home from the leftovers. The dessert was either The Wall of Chocolate cake (hugh) or the Banana Spring Rolls, served with coconut ice cream. An especially good combination of bananas fried in an egg roll wrapper and served with the Ice Cream. They have changed the Warrior Card from a 10% off freebie to a points system. Just changed it. We will go back as they have dishes that are different and pretty well done for so-called Asian/Chinese fusion.

This time, we ordered the orange peel chicken (delish with just the right amount of heat) and the lemon scallops (drizzled in a delicate lemon sauce--very lovely). I ordered their organic agave margarita, which I love every time and love even more when it's during happy hour ($6!). My darling got their apple martini, which was a very sweet choice--a positive or negative depending on your perspective (it was very sweet to me...and I like sweet). We always enjoy their ambiance and the service was attentive, prompt, and just plain perfect. Still a fan!

Yes, as good as it gets. I've been to this particular Chang's twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. It's very well managed you can tell. The employees are fantastic and easy on the eyes too! The food is delicious and they get it out to you quickly and always HOT. It's immaculate clean and the staff is impeccably dressed. If you're a fan of the chain, this location will not disappoint. If you've never been to a PF Chang's before, this is a good location to try them out. Parking can be an issue though. And they get real busy for dinner. This is a very nice restaurant, aesthetically speaking. Service was better than most, we were not rushed at all. They did a visual check more often then just asking us, which was great to have. It does become tedious when they check on you every 5 minutes or so. My only issue is their food, it is honestly sad. Display is nice, flavor not so nice. I have been here several times now trying different stir fries each time. Their cook loves him some vinegar and you can tell! Their rice is low grade short rice. I would put it on par with what you can get at the Boise River Cafe on BSU campus. Personally I would rather go for quality rather than quantity. For food you will not find quality. Go down the street to the Twin Dragon or Golden Star, even the 3 Chinese buffets have better food than P.F. Chang's. You will be hard pressed to find better service with the waiters and waitresses.

I was surprised that I received a call from PF Chang's a week later to apologize for the problems with the reservation. They even sent me a gift card. So today, a Saturday, I made another reservation for 7:30 pm. We arrived at about 7:25 to check in. We were told it would be another 10 to 15 minute wait. After 25 minutes I told the host never mind. We were tired of waiting for a reservation that we made well in advance. What is the the old saying "Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me for believing you..." I am from California, where the Chinese food is marvelous. I hadn't found a restaurant here in Boise that compared to what I was accustomed to in Cali. Until I tried PF Changs. PF Changs has the atmosphere of a night out, or a date night gone right. It had dim light, a bar, and table service for sauces. The won-ton soup is delicious and unique, they have fresh fried rice, and their most popular dish beef and broccoli is to die for. Be sure to try the duck if you are a fan, you will not be disappointed. I cannot review the drinks other than their hot tea, which is what I've had when Ive gone. Their peach and jazmine tea are good.

Gluten Free menu is solid. Good selection and you won't feel 'left out' when dining with other people. The flourless chocolate dessert is very tasty. Definitely Asian fusion food and servings are smaller than a regular Chinese restaurant. There is not a lack of service, but oddly, too much service. Quantity does not equal quality and in the end I always feel like they are trying too hard to please. Make reservations for busy times, but each time I've dropped in I was seated right away.

The atmosphere of P.F Chang's is actually enjoyable; I prefer dimly lit restaurants and bars. However, the food we ordered was quite sub-par. The garlic chicken was very bland, and the second dish we ordered (I've forgotten what it was) was oddly textured and the flavor it did have wasn't very good. On the positive note, the chicken-lettuce wraps were very tasty. You can't expect much from a large chain restaurant with regards to authentic, flavorful Chinese food; and as expected P.F Chang's didn't deliver much. You'd be better off trying the various local establishments around Boise.

Ask for Tony! He provided great service even though the place was booming. He never neglected to stop and see how we were doing. My wife has a nut allergy, and every plate they brought out, they would remind us that it was for a nut-allergy. The Prix Fixe was a great deal with lots of options on a budget. Came here day after her birthday to use the gift card she received. Great atmosphere and on a Monday evening, we walked right in and got seated immediately. We bought the two full dinner special. Each of us got a soup, appetizer, two entrees and two desserts. She got a bonus birthday dessert. I got the orange peel chicken and she got the spicy chicken. Both were great and very filling, after the soup and appetizer. Service was very nice and a manager asked how we enjoyed our experience. We'll be coming back here for downtown evenings.

I have been going to PF Changs for many years. Denver, Phoenix, Portland and more. This one is less than as good as most. It is not bad but it just lacks something. The food is not prepared exactly like the others. I am fond of the Pin Rice Noodle soup and they blow it every time. The lettuce wraps are up there with the rest however.

These guys are too much. Unless you want a production made and then repeated over and over, be very cautious about using the word "allergy" or "intolerance" or asking for an ingredient to be omitted from a menu item. That sort of absurd grandstanding aside, the food here is the usual substandard chain vaguely Chinese-y junk. They have added sushi here...not sure if that is across all of them. Chinese places making sushi...not too exciting there. Calamari was over-salted, which was the case with everything I had, except for the iced tea, which was oddly way better than I would have anticipated. Green beans were also salty and what they did to the asparagus was a borderline crime. The interior of this place is really, really nice, but the food came nowhere near to living up to that, which was the case I found repeatedly elsewhere also in Boise. I'm not a fan of this chain in general, but it had been a good long while since I'd been in one, so I thought I'd give another location a shot. This was not an especially good representative location for my return, both with the incredibly asinine service and the unacceptably slow times for food. May be back to the chain but definitely not here again.

Today was a special day for my family, and I decided to take my children to PF Changs for the first time. We live 45 minutes away. They have heard me rave about the lettuce wraps for a couple years. However, I am sad to say that I have never been more disappointed in a meal, or the service. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken satay. When it arrived, the chicken satay was dry and tasted like there was dirt on it from an unclean grill. The chicken and other fillings in my lettuce wraps were burnt, and tasted like soap-as though someone didn't rinse after washing the pan. After 15 minutes of sitting there, unattended to by our waitress, I explained that I was not happy with my order and said that I did not want a replacement. Instead of coming back with my check, 7 minutes later I had a new plate of lettuce wraps come out which I then had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a box. I wasted all of that time, hungry, just to take it with me and throw it in the garbage- because that's what it tasted like at home, cold and soggy. I then was made to pay for the order of lettuce wraps (that I didn't want replaced, just removed from my bill) which were poorly prepared, as well as dirty satay. I also had to pay for my children and I to eat elsewhere, as we were again 45 minutes from home and HUNGRY! I wasted an hour, $28 at PF Changs, $2.50 for parking, and an additional $20 for an edible lunch immediately after leaving the restaurant. We went there to celebrate my sons after attending an ADA event. I am not convinced that they just didn't give me the same attention because I was dining with children. Needless to say, be it with my husband, friends, or well mannered boys, WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Note to self... Don't go ANYWHERE in downtown Boise on prom night!!! Haha We did sit outside on the patio and enjoyed watching all of the beautiful dresses pass by. The restaurant was absolutely packed both inside, outside and the bar. I do believe that I'm they lost a star or two for abnormal circumstances. So let me just state right now that our server did a fabulous job! When the overhead heating malfunctioned the manager personally came out and apologized and offered to move our table. They also took one of the dishes off our bill because they forgot the cashews. We were definitely satisfied with the service and they were busting their butts with a packed house. My daughter had pad Thai with shrimp and she ate almost the entire dish. She said it was a little spicy but she really liked it. My highlights of the night were chicken lettuce wraps and the crispy honey shrimp. I don't think you can ever go wrong with those lettuce wraps... They're probably the most popular thing on the menu. I also went out on a limb and tried the white tangerine tea. I'm usually a peppermint type of gal but this was a pleasant surprise. I've already looked it up online (revolution tea) and plan on placing an order.

P.F. Chang's is a top-notch chain restaurant. They are definitely a big step up from Applebee's and Chili's. If you haven't been to a P.F. Chang's before, they aren't traditional American Chinese food, they are Asian fusion. Their service is usually fantastic as well. Also, while you are checking in on Yelp, check in on their app too, it has a reward program which I've been missing out on all this time LOL. Everything we've tried on our various visits has been delicious. Love the Koren BBQ Chicken on the menu. I like to get it with fried silken tofu rather than the chicken, and it's amazing because the fried tofu is excellently done and soaks up all the delicious sauce. Favorite appetizer is the handmade dumplings (if you like mushrooms, try the veggie version!) Favorite drink so far: Cucumber Strawberry Lemonade. I'm not usually a fan of cucumber, however, in this drink it is very refreshing! Tried the sushi options, they were quality, but rather boring if you love going out to sushi. Sushi lovers should probably adventure to other parts of the menu to avoid disapointment. We've had fantastic service 9 times out of 10 and a manager corrected the messed up order/ticket fabulously the time we did have an issue at our table. P.F. Chang's is on our regular rotation of fun places to eat out with the fam.

Food always delicious! Brought my 20 year old daughter (she LOVES it here) and was impressed to see the amount of families AND older folks! Those are great signs for a restaurant! Is it possible to waltz into a pf changs and not enjoy the food? I think not. I would think the only variance is service. The service here is accommodating for your special requests. Only complaint would be many younger employees like to hover around front hostess desk so you have to get up walk across restaurant for service. Hard to get attention when they're chatty Kathy's.

One might think if one has experienced one PF Chang's location, one has experienced them all. One would be right for menu. This is a chain with AmerChinAsianfusion food and every location has exactly the same items on exactly the same formatted menu. After two really miserable experinces for food quality and service at other PF Chang's locations (not to name names but the initials are Eugene, Oregon and Las Vegas, Nevada), I swear I had sworn off the chain for good. Good thing I changed my mind to give PF Chang's in Boise's BODO a try. For a first visit in, they impressed my husband and me on all fronts. We find ourselves fans. THE FOOD... ...was well prepared for what it is. Just set your expectations for what it is not. It is not authentic Chinese cuisine. It is a mass market chain. But the kitchen here got all the elements right for preparation and presentation. THE SERVICE... ... was stellar. The server's ability to answer questions about the menu was top notch and he went beyond that to make good suggestions. His attention and skill in delivering our food among three distinct courses as we requested was pitch perfect and everything arrived out of the kitchen at the right temperature. THE VIBE... ... was restful on the cusp of very late lunch hour on a weekday as there were few people inside. This is such a cavernous, not in the sense of yawming chasm cavern but in the sense of huge, space with umpteen tables that it is unlikely I would find it all that appealing at peak packed periods. In fact for all the hustle and bustle on the streets outside that we could see through the many big windows, we felt as if we were in a little relaxing cocoon. Which is just what we needed. THE PRICES... ...they do have a lunch menu for folks who like those kind of "combo plate" lunch arrangments. We never use those and so ordered from the main menu. A side, two appetizers and a main course all shared was $36 before tax and we had ample amount to bring home to share again for light dinner. THE GREEN BEANS... ... seriously, the wok cooked spicy green beans deserve their own special mention. You'll find them on the side dish menu. Just done enough to have a bit of al dente crunch, just salty, garlicy, Szechuan preserve spicy hot enough they are like eating great potato chipa. That is it is hard to stop yourself. Using chopsticks to eat one by one is even more delightful. Be creative and order them as an appetizer. Your awakened palate will thank you for the idea. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: On street in Bodo is normally a primal scream inducing experience and I'm hard pressed to imagine what genius it was that thought BACK IN ONLY angled parking as is the case in at least one of the streets was a good idea. Just sayin'. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Level in and throughout. Most seating is standard table height. There is even a lowered section AT the bar that would accomodate two people at standard height.

Stopped in for dinner before heading to the iMax. Made a reservation online and was seated right away. My partner and I had the crispy green beans to start. They where wonderful, the dipping sauce was fantastic. I had the cantonese lemon chicken. It was tasty and presentation was exquisite. My partner had the Orange chicken. She said it was the best she had ever had. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food came out in a timely fashion. Also if you like tea, the dragon oolong is wonderful and paired with with my lemon chicken.

As someone who spent time in Hong Kong and ate real Chinese food compared with the fake Chinese served in the United States, I didn't have much confidence in P.F. Chang's chain offerings. And I wasn't disappointed. It was the first time I had ever been asked if we had reservations -- walking in at 4 p.m. on a Saturday. I wondered if all the tables were full at what I thought would not be a busy time. When we were escorted to our table for two, there were many empty tables throughout the restaurant. That seemed very odd to have been asked about reservations. After we were seated and given menus, we waited for 10 minutes and hadn't even been given a glass of water. After talking about that among ourselves, it was like they had hidden microphones. All of a sudden, a manager appeared from nowhere and apologized for the lack of attention. We ordered the four-course prix-fixe offering, with hot and sour soup, egg rolls, sesame chicken and Mongolian beef. The chicken had very little flavor and wasn't spicy at all, despite by the menu claim to the contrary. The beef, on the other hand, was quite good. After being ignored initially, our server was pleasant and attentive.

I had a "spicy" shrimp dish, not so much, the shrimp was rubbery and had a weird breading on it, it was like it was frozen then heated up. The wonton soup was ok, the wontons were doughy. For how much they charge for lunch "specials" I can definitely go some place else and have a much better food experience.

My favorite items on the menu: - Pork Dumplings (Pan Fried) - Changs Chicken Soup (Tomatoes 1/4) *BEST* - Shanghai Cucumbers - Ginger Chicken & Broccoli If you're a fan of good gin and tonics, try their fever tree tonic with the star anise. They're pretty on point. This will continue to be a go to spot.

I really do like the food here. Entree sizes are small in comparison to most local places which I find nice as I tend to be a lighter eater. I do prefer quality over quantity. Server was great, attentive, and spoke just the right amount. We did receive the wrong order, but everything was taken care of with in minutes. The highlight was the patio.

I have been more pleased than disappointed in our couple of visits to PFC. Being the sad and sorry state of Asian food in Boise, especially Chinese, I find a place for PFC in Boise. I know, I know, they are not authentic Chinese food, but neither is any other place in Boise. The one thing I find good about PFC's renditions are that they don't all end up tasting the same. Also, they know how to "dry" stir fry and their dishes aren't swimming in sauce. They also have some dim-sum Happy Hour dishes that are good. It is almost impossibly hard to get good Dim Sum in Boise, and they do what they have pretty well. Service was excellent at the early dinner we had. Joshua was our server and besides being cordial, he could answer questions knowledgeably. We had their Valentine's Day fixed price spicy dinner. One appetizer, 2 entree dishes and a dessert for $45 (per couple) was a pretty good deal in our book. Enjoyed a cocktail with the appetizer. Bartender did a good job on those drinks. The entrees were served with brown rice (our favorite) and were nice and spicy, sort of in the Szechuan style. More than enough for two, with another meal taken home from the leftovers. The dessert was either The Wall of Chocolate cake (hugh) or the Banana Spring Rolls, served with coconut ice cream. An especially good combination of bananas fried in an egg roll wrapper and served with the Ice Cream. They have changed the Warrior Card from a 10% off freebie to a points system. Just changed it. We will go back as they have dishes that are different and pretty well done for so-called Asian/Chinese fusion.

Yes, as good as it gets. I've been to this particular Chang's twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. It's very well managed you can tell. The employees are fantastic and easy on the eyes too! The food is delicious and they get it out to you quickly and always HOT. It's immaculate clean and the staff is impeccably dressed. If you're a fan of the chain, this location will not disappoint. If you've never been to a PF Chang's before, this is a good location to try them out. Parking can be an issue though. And they get real busy for dinner. Go early for lunch and you'll walk right in and be seated. Enjoy!!

THE FOOD... ...was well prepared for what it is. Just set your expectations for what it is not. It is not authentic Chinese cuisine. It is a mass market chain. But the kitchen here got all the elements right for preparation and presentation. THE SERVICE... ... was stellar. The server's ability to answer questions about the menu was top notch and he went beyond that to make good suggestions. His attention and skill in delivering our food among three distinct courses as we requested was pitch perfect and everything arrived out of the kitchen at the right temperature. THE VIBE... ... was restful on the cusp of very late lunch hour on a weekday as there were few people inside. This is such a cavernous, not in the sense of yawming chasm cavern but in the sense of huge, space with umpteen tables that it is unlikely I would find it all that appealing at peak packed periods. In fact for all the hustle and bustle on the streets outside that we could see through the many big windows, we felt as if we were in a little relaxing cocoon. Which is just what we needed. THE PRICES... ...they do have a lunch menu for folks who like those kind of "combo plate" lunch arrangments. We never use those and so ordered from the main menu. A side, two appetizers and a main course all shared was $36 before tax and we had ample amount to bring home to share again for light dinner. THE GREEN BEANS... ... seriously, the wok cooked spicy green beans deserve their own special mention. You'll find them on the side dish menu. Just done enough to have a bit of al dente crunch, just salty, garlicy, Szechuan preserve spicy hot enough they are like eating great potato chipa. That is it is hard to stop yourself. Using chopsticks to eat one by one is even more delightful. Be creative and order them as an appetizer. Your awakened palate will thank you for the idea. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: On street in Bodo is normally a primal scream inducing experience and I'm hard pressed to imagine what genius it was that thought BACK IN ONLY angled parking as is the case in at least one of the streets was a good idea. Just sayin'. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Level in and throughout. Most seating is standard table height. There is even a lowered section AT the bar that would accomodate two people at standard height.

We went here for lunch, such a disappointment, very bland food. I had a "spicy" shrimp dish, not so much, the shrimp was rubbery and had a weird breading on it, it was like it was frozen then heated up. The wonton soup was ok, the wontons were doughy. For how much they charge for lunch "specials" I can definitely go some place else and have a much better food experience.

Came back on a date night with the Mister. This time, we ordered the orange peel chicken (delish with just the right amount of heat) and the lemon scallops (drizzled in a delicate lemon sauce--very lovely). I ordered their organic agave margarita, which I love every time and love even more when it's during happy hour ($6!). My darling got their apple martini, which was a very sweet choice--a positive or negative depending on your perspective (it was very sweet to me...and I like sweet). We always enjoy their ambiance and the service was attentive, prompt, and just plain perfect. Still a fan!

This is a very nice restaurant, aesthetically speaking. Service was better than most, we were not rushed at all. They did a visual check more often then just asking us, which was great to have. It does become tedious when they check on you every 5 minutes or so. My only issue is their food, it is honestly sad. Display is nice, flavor not so nice. I have been here several times now trying different stir fries each time. Their cook loves him some vinegar and you can tell! Their rice is low grade short rice. I would put it on par with what you can get at the Boise River Cafe on BSU campus. Personally I would rather go for quality rather than quantity. For food you will not find quality. Go down the street to the Twin Dragon or Golden Star, even the 3 Chinese buffets have better food than P.F. Chang's. You will be hard pressed to find better service with the waiters and waitresses.

Great food but not worth the price. Don't get me wrong; I love the food here but I personally don't think it's worth the price. With all the choices for Chinese food in Boise, this place isn't my first choice. Lettuce wraps are amazing just about all entrees are amazing but be prepared to pay for quality.

I frequent P.F. Changs on a regular basis and always enjoy it. Hot Sake is the best buzz and I never seem to get a hang over from it! As for the food, I don't often do full dinner, but usually share a few appetizers with my friends. I love the new orange zest edamame. The potstickers are also a regular favorite!

I was surprised that I received a call from PF Chang's a week later to apologize for the problems with the reservation. They even sent me a gift card. So today, a Saturday, I made another reservation for 7:30 pm. We arrived at about 7:25 to check in. We were told it would be another 10 to 15 minute wait. After 25 minutes I told the host never mind. We were tired of waiting for a reservation that we made well in advance. What is the the old saying "Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me for believing you..." I just wish there was a way to do negative rating stars.

I love this chain! I love the northern ribs and the amazing service. This is not the case in Boise. The food is terrible and staff are all under aged with little or no experience or skill. I've complained about both in the past to no benefit. The bottom line is that it's just horrible. If you love PF Chang's never go to this one. Hopefully it will close soon.

Well, the food is mostly amazing, especially the seared tuna appetizer, but who picks the playlist for this restaurant??? I do not want to feel like I am entering a jeans store for teenagers when I eat at an Asian fusion place. Tone it down. Don't let the music interfere with the food (and it did, despite that I sat outside). The music interrupted tastes, thoughts and good feelings. Sorry P F Chang, let the food be the music and have something more subdued as background noise. Funny thing, I have never had this music experience at other P F Changs so I wonder if the suddenly have a new national music coordinator who is inspired by teenage mall store music? Plus, they serve wilted unhappy cilantro with their spring roll. Things could've better.

I am from California, where the Chinese food is marvelous. I hadn't found a restaurant here in Boise that compared to what I was accustomed to in Cali. Until I tried PF Changs. PF Changs has the atmosphere of a night out, or a date night gone right. It had dim light, a bar, and table service for sauces. The won-ton soup is delicious and unique, they have fresh fried rice, and their most popular dish beef and broccoli is to die for. Be sure to try the duck if you are a fan, you will not be disappointed. I cannot review the drinks other than their hot tea, which is what I've had when Ive gone. Their peach and jazmine tea are good.

Been here enough to experience consistencies: - WAY too much salt/sodium - Overpriced - Inauthentic Chinese "cuisine" - don't be fooled, this is a chain restaurant - Inability of servers to accommodate low-sodium requests (tells me the kitchen prepares based on pre-made sauces & formula preparation mandated by Corporate) - Nice decor, but we come to enjoy the food, not the decorations (sorry) Look around for other, more authentic Asian restaurants with much better value. My wife and adult children have been here about 6 times in last 3 months. That should say something. We enjoy the food very, very much and have had some of our best meals ever here in Boise. The service is good, and food taste/quality has been really excellent for a person that does not seek out Chinese food. Price wise, I found it very reasonable. I also love the ambiance. I suppose any restaurant can have a bad meal but I would eat here any day.

Gluten Free menu is solid. Good selection and you won't feel 'left out' when dining with other people. The flourless chocolate dessert is very tasty. Definitely Asian fusion food and servings are smaller than a regular Chinese restaurant. There is not a lack of service, but oddly, too much service. Quantity does not equal quality and in the end I always feel like they are trying too hard to please. Make reservations for busy times, but each time I've dropped in I was seated right away.

The atmosphere of P.F Chang's is actually enjoyable; I prefer dimly lit restaurants and bars. However, the food we ordered was quite sub-par. The garlic chicken was very bland, and the second dish we ordered (I've forgotten what it was) was oddly textured and the flavor it did have wasn't very good. On the positive note, the chicken-lettuce wraps were very tasty. You can't expect much from a large chain restaurant with regards to authentic, flavorful Chinese food; and as expected P.F Chang's didn't deliver much. You'd be better off trying the various local establishments around Boise.

Ask for Tony! He provided great service even though the place was booming. He never neglected to stop and see how we were doing. My wife has a nut allergy, and every plate they brought out, they would remind us that it was for a nut-allergy. The Prix Fixe was a great deal with lots of options on a budget. I love the food here. The waiter was amazing. We ordered the Honey chicken, Mongolian beef, and kids got chicken and noodles. Topped it all off with Chocolate cake and rasberry sauce! So good. Only draw back is on a Friday night with no reservation we had to wait an hour :(

It's edible and not the worst food I've ever had. The decor is nice, the service friendly and they do a nice job packaging up a to-go box. But enough with the glowing praise... Majorly overpriced and totally forgettable food. I am no enemy of chains (and they do some things better than local establishments), but the food has to be at least good. This is not good food, and certainly not worth half of what they charge. It's a great location, and they have a nice bar for meeting up with a friend, but I would recommend taking off after a drink and seeking food elsewhere.

My weakness for dinner in Boise. We love it in here. The atmosphere and the servers are always good. I would STRONGLY ADVISE getting a reservation on the weekend. Or you may end up waiting hours. But they are always good at getting us in right on time with our reservations. The outside dining is really great. I love Bo-Do so sitting outside at PF's is really fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe of the city! Favorites: Lettuce wraps (obvi), Kung Pao Chicken, and the Mongolian Beef with added greens! YUM! Also get the banana dessert. It's to die for & is cheap! :) YUM!

Came here day after her birthday to use the gift card she received. Great atmosphere and on a Monday evening, we walked right in and got seated immediately. We bought the two full dinner special. Each of us got a soup, appetizer, two entrees and two desserts. She got a bonus birthday dessert. I got the orange peel chicken and she got the spicy chicken. Both were great and very filling, after the soup and appetizer. Service was very nice and a manager asked how we enjoyed our experience. We'll be coming back here for downtown evenings.

Just in to Boise from Reno today, and went to PF Changs for lunch. We were seated right away, and our waiter, Tucker, came over right away, and took drink orders. We ordered the calamari appetizer, and crispy honey shrimp and double fried noodles with beef. The food came very quickly, and was totally delicious. We had had their calamari before, and that was consistent with other locations, but the shrimp dish and the noodle dish were both new to us. The shrimp was heaven in your mouth. No way in hell would we have let that dish get luke warm, much less cold! It was amazing. The noodle dish was tasty ass well. Tucker mixed our dipping sauce for us, and I have to say, he was one of the best waiters we have had anywhere - definitely the best at any PF Changs location, and we've been to a few. Drinks were refilled before we even knew we needed them. What a great experience. Both food and service were top notch.

I know this is not your typical Chinese restaurant with the usual chow mein dishes, etc., but my dining experiences here have been first rate both at lunch and at dinner. The wait staff is very efficient and helpful and sometimes the service has been a bit slow due to the extreme busyness of this place. I really like the food--some favorites are: Mongolian Beef, Orange Peel Shrimp, Honey Walnut Chicken, Crispy Green Beans and Lettuce Wraps, and for dessert, the Banana Spring Rolls--yum! It's a good idea to make a reservation here as it is a really popular place especially at dinnertime--lunchtime is not as busy and we've been able to get seated right away. This restaurant was a great addition to the BoDo area!

Ok, I didn't actually eat here, but I tried. Went on a Saturday night and found the wait at about 7pm to be 1 hour and 45 minutes. I live In LA where everyone eats out on Saturday and I've never seen an almost 2 hour wait at PF Changs.

I have been going to PF Changs for many years. Denver, Phoenix, Portland and more. This one is less than as good as most. It is not bad but it just lacks something. The food is not prepared exactly like the others. I am fond of the Pin Rice Noodle soup and they blow it every time. The lettuce wraps are up there with the rest however.

I have been to PF Changs 3 times before my visit to this one, and each time I got food poisoning, so it was a big leap for me to try it again! It's nothing fancy, just a typical chain restaurant. The inside is nice. I went on a Monday evening and it wasn't that crowded. The staff was pretty friendly right when my party walked in, which was a nice way to start off the meal. I had the ahi tuna as an appetizer, which was just okay. I had the pan fried noodles for my entree, which I did not like at all! Ugh. My friends entrees looked nice though. The food always came out extremely fast, which was weird to me. Like Fast-food restaurant fast. Our waiter was also kind of weird and I barely understood anything he said. He was nice though. One thing i really didn't like was the fact that they over-explain EVERYTHING. And I mean everything, from the soy sauce to the plates. Like sheesh, just let me eat. I probably wouldn't come back here because I'm not into Americanized Chinese food, and I'm just not that into chain restaurants.

I have been more pleased than disappointed in our couple of visits to PFC. Being the sad and sorry state of Asian food in Boise, especially Chinese, I find a place for PFC in Boise. I know, I know, they are not authentic Chinese food, but neither is any other place in Boise. The one thing I find good about PFC's renditions are that they don't all end up tasting the same. Also, they know how to "dry" stir fry and their dishes aren't swimming in sauce. They also have some dim-sum Happy Hour dishes that are good. It is almost impossibly hard to get good Dim Sum in Boise, and they do what they have pretty well. Service was excellent at the early dinner we had. Joshua was our server and besides being cordial, he could answer questions knowledgeably. We had their Valentine's Day fixed price spicy dinner. One appetizer, 2 entree dishes and a dessert for $45 (per couple) was a pretty good deal in our book. Enjoyed a cocktail with the appetizer. Bartender did a good job on those drinks. The entrees were served with brown rice (our favorite) and were nice and spicy, sort of in the Szechuan style. More than enough for two, with another meal taken home from the leftovers. The dessert was either The Wall of Chocolate cake (hugh) or the Banana Spring Rolls, served with coconut ice cream. An especially good combination of bananas fried in an egg roll wrapper and served with the Ice Cream. They have changed the Warrior Card from a 10% off freebie to a points system. Just changed it. We will go back as they have dishes that are different and pretty well done for so-called Asian/Chinese fusion.

Changs noodle soup and cucumbers is my favorite thing here, we get it every time so I can't speak to their other popular dishes. I like the ambiance of Changs, you can take a business meeting here to a sexy date. The service is extraordinary, if there is something that bothers you, they'll take care of you. We dropped in here for drinks during a staycation in downtown Boise. The bartender was great... very attentive and friendly. I had one of their coconut lemon sours and it was excellent! We decided to have a few appetizers, and started with the lettuce wraps. They were terrible.... mushy texture, no flavor, didn't really seem fresh at all. They were so bad, in fact, that we didn't order any other food. I would go back to this restaurant, but only for the coconut lemon sour and the service....
