Food was not good at all, don't get the chicken wrap. Server was nice and trying her best, but the big guy working the cash register was being an asshole to the rest of the staff. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back

Nothing special went here a few times and have had good service and then been very insulted by "Floe" the racist rude as waitress......asked for oatmeal and boiled eggs to go at 8 in the a.m. the waitress couldnt' seem to understand that......hello on a health kick right now this place is close to my hotel just shut your pie hole and do your job....very rude!

Went in for breakfast on a cold day! It was quick and hot! Food was ok, the syrup was very plaining and when I mentioned that to the waitress she smiled and said she hears that a lot! Hmmmm, NOTE TO OWNER: Good french toast with bad syrup means is a no no! You can buy cheap cabin log syrup that ease better than what you are using. It really kills the quality of the food and kept you from getting 5 stars from me. Waitress was very nice!

Really, this is one of the best breakfast places I've stumbled upon. It seems to be just another standard diner... but NO! They have unique combinations like a blackened prawn omellette. There was a cream cheese blackberry french toast I longed to get, but after all the other fattening vacation food, my friend and I opted out. I ordered a standard eggs and wheat toast. Simple and good. The prices are a bit on the up, but it was the only decent joint along that stretch it seemed)

Low end diner food, maybe not as good as Denny's, maybe about equal. But I wouldn't eat there unless you just are too tired to drive elsewhere. Food too salty and sugary and some things tasted canned. Slow service, but friendly enough. Atmosphere pleasant. Reasonable prices, maybe a bit higher than the quality would indicate.

The name suggests a chain restaurant but the Kopper Kitchen claims to be family-owned. It serves good but bland American food, lots of it for a bargain price. My wife ordered an open-faced steak sandwich with fries and a Caesar salad. The steak was quite large. She declared it was excellent and discarded the bread. Price: $7.99. I ordered a chicken soup, advertised as a cup but delivered as a bowl, obviously not from a can, thick and hearty with big chunks of chicken plus string beans, carrots, red bell pepper, etc. It only needed spicing up. I used half a teaspoon of pepper; green tobasco would have worked, too, perhaps a little better. As an entree, I ordered a roast beef sandwich with Swiss cheese, which was very good except for the white balloon bread sprayed brown to look like whole wheat. Price of the entree: $6.99. Decent beer list, too. If you can beat this food for the price, you're eating at home.

Went for fathers day my skillet as ok the potatoes were greasy the sour dough toast had no flavor. My son had the bacon cheese burger he said it was ok but he is 17. My wife had the waffle the syrup was plain a Hardly no flavor. The Tabasco was not tabasco it watery. That would be my last pick for breakfast

My husband and I stopped in on our way home. The restaurant is a little decieving from the outside; we thought it was going to be way nicer. I ordered the fettuccine and must say the salad that it came with was the best part. It wasn't normal fettuccine and reminded me of something you'd get out of a box. I must say the place was clean which is always good but I found myself wishing we had gone to the Denny's across the street...

Ate here twice, different menu items each time. Okay, but not the best use of my time, money, or tastebuds. Not a horrible experience, but very indifferent.
Me and the hubby were driving to Vegas from Seattle and stopped for the night at Inn America (which was pretty but had uncomfortable beds). Kopper Kitchen was the only place close by with decent yelp reviews, so that was dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised. We had salisbury steak, though i think they called it something else, ground beef steak or something. The beef-vegetable soup it came with was wonderful, my husband doesn't even like soup, but we were both sad when it was gone. The steak and the mashies they came with were very yummy. We were so impressed that the stopped in on our return trip even though we weren't hungry, and had the exact same thing, even though the beef vegetable soup had dissappeared =o(

We were on the road for a music tour through the northwest. we stayed at a inn and suites near the airpot in Boise. the Kopper Kitchen was with in walking distance & had decent ratings on yelp so we decided to check it out. we rolled in about 30 min to closing and were still greeted with a great welcoming smile from the host. we were seated quickly and our server quickly got our drinks all set. we all ordered burgers which turned out great and Our server Kristen was amazing, with a great sense of humor and kept a nice vibe with us. She was so on point and the food hit the spot after a long day of travel!! mad shouts to the Kopper Kitchen and yelp for the good recommendation.

Stayed at the best western across the street. Didn't feel like driving so I walked across the street and tried it out. First night I had the salmon with veggies and rice. Not too bad. Would probably get it again. Second night got the oriental salad. Very plain and not worth $10.50. All in all, i gave this place 3 stars only because of how convenient they were.

So I am visiting from Colorado Springs, in route to fort Lewis, Washington and decided to stay at the sleep inn for the night and eat at the kopper kitchen. I ordered the ground beef steak with fries and my wife had the chicken fried steak with white gravy. The food was AMAZING!!!!! The reviews towards the restaurant were pretty harsh, I don't know why! The food was amazing and the waitress was nice and took care of us. She made my wife a drink she called the "fork", And my wife loved it and I had 4 cold bud lights. Everything was great, I will be back!

We stumbled on the Kopper Kitchen after attending a book fair at a nearby hotel conference room. It was just the ticket for a convenient fast lunch on our way to our next errand. The food is home made tasting and hearty. Good enough beer selection but I would have expected more from a local joint. The Kopper burger is worthy of a signature name. If you want some basic Americana fare this is your place.

As we were passing through Idaho, we stopped at the Kopper Kitchen for dinner. It has all the makings of a Sharis - a varied menu that covers all the Americana beats. It seemed nice enough, and the experience was overall good. Our sampling was limited, but overall we thought the meal was good, right Zach? The first thing we had was perhaps the best thing we had. We had the soup of the day, which was some beef based vegetable soup. It was unexpectedly delicious, and really greased the wheels of hunger, right Zach? We had subsequently returned a second time, only to have lost the opportunity to get it again. It was good while it lasted. As the main course, we ordered the chopped steak. Essentially, a hamburg steak proper. We had it with a brown, meaty gravy with some mashed potatoes. Very tasty overall, with not much to complain about. It was enough to warrant that second trip as we passed through again. We haven't been in the area for quite some time, but if we are, we will most certainly explore more of the menu, right Zach? Kopper Kitchen wasn't too bad, and if you're lucky, the beef soup will be available to wet your appetite.

I had a great experience here. Rose was wonderful, very attentive but not hovering. The food was great, save for a slightly lackluster side salad. Friendly staff, quiet atmosphere, walking distance from the airport, large portions, and a well-rounded menu are the upsides. Watery dressing and wilted lettuce, not so much. End of the day, I give it a thumbs up.

Don't let the 3 stars fool you. This is a nice place to eat. The decor is that of any typical diner. The staff was so friendly and always checking in with you- it truly was the best service I have had in God knows how long. The salmon and chips were good, nice size pieces of fish and comes with 3 sides. I would definitely recommend this place if you are at the airport or need a place to eat in the area. Very affordable.

We came on a Tuesday morning for breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. The dining room was mostly empty, and the woman sat us at a booth off by ourselves (that is not next to the only other diners there) which we liked. The price of everything was great-much better than IHOP- and we felt that the food and service we received was above and beyond the price of the food. The woman who led us to our table seemed pretty grouchy but our waitress was extremely nice and accommodating. She checked in with us throughout the meal but didn't hover annoyingly like some do. I ordered the California Bacon Burrito and it was amazing. Very flavorful with plenty of bacon and the eggs were tasty and moist. My husband had the biscuits and gravy combo and loved it, which says a lot coming from someone whose mother made biscuits and gravy for 7 kids weekly. Even the coffee was fresh and delicious. Everything had large portion sizes, and I ended up taking half of mine home, which I promptly ate an hour later for lunch. If I had to nitpick anything, I guess I would say that the hash browns that came with my meal were slightly undercooked. This certainly didn't stop me from enjoying them, though, and was not a big enough issue to warrant losing any piece of a star in my rating. We have found our new favorite, and will be frequent visitors, as well as bringing our guests. A+!

Can you do 0 stars? Mediocre food in general...but the kitchen messed up our order 3 times, and then the OWNER (fat bald dude) tried to scold us for ordering off menu (we ordered from the menu) and then just kept trying to make excuses/explain it away instead of just sincerely apologizing. I've worked in a lot of kitchens before and wasn't upset until the owner verbally abused us at our table. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

First off, their WEBSITE is way old and the menu is way outdated. They do not serve any of the steaks or chicken dishes as listed on their web menus anymore. No more primerib for $14.99 folks, they don't even have it. I spoke to the manager and she told me that the guy that designed their site took the password and his talents as a webmaster with him. They've been unable to hire anyone to fix the website and menus. Travelling through Boise and eat here AND want to use the KopperRest WIFI you will see on your wifi list, OOPS, they don't know how to fix that either and blamed it being plugged in and sort of working, but non-connectable, to the same webmaster that walked away years ago. So, the food was very average, maybe a tiny bit better than Denny's across the street. 1- get your website back, it's not difficult. You can verify who you are and get the domain and hosting released to your care 2- fix your wifi or unplug the router. 3- Tell your waitresses to actually try the items on the menu. Our waitress was a uneducated person when it came to Kopper's own menu. I asked her how long she'd been there, she said a few years, but she couldn't recommend even a dressing for the salad. 4- It reminds me of a truck stop café, wasn't overlay impressed with the service or the food. They DO have daily specials and the all you can eat shrimp looked great, my fellow diners liked them. 5- Ask your customers if they have any coupons or local motel discounts.
