Diabetics at TGI Friday
If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.
Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:
Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

I just enjoyed what was quite possibly the best pizza of my life! I think I had a spiritual experience with it! Not only did every ingredient taste fresh, but the dough was perfectly crispy, and it didn't need a drop of extra sauce, (I'm a habitual ranch dunker). Every part of this experience was amazing, from the initial ordering to the actual enjoyment of the food..... I called and spoke to Allen, who was funny and personable. Even though it was close to closing time, he took extra time to figure out exactly what I wanted, and together we created a pizza that was so spot on I almost can't believe it! I will DEFINITELY be ordering again. I was very impressed with the level of service he provided. In my opinion he went above and beyond. I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Service was pretty good, servers did a decent job presenting the pizza and serving it, even as the crowds began to hammer in. And the pizza... we had a meet lover's pizza. The mozzarella was delicious and generous. The crust was good, but a little dry for me. It had the classic buttery consistency of a pie crust. The sauce and cheese were also wonderful. I shared a deluxe large with my friend and it was so filling I could barely breathe afterwards. The deluxe comes with sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The sausage wasn't the best I've tried. If you come here, I recommend going for the front room. The back room can get noisy and is a pretty standard room with some sports memorabilia and two TVs. This pizza is good west-coast style pizza. Makes me miss Chicago deep dish, though, which is far superior than anything I can find in Idaho.

Man I'm updating the review. Due to A little sickness after had that salad. Im so thirsty!!! There must be MSG in them. Consistent taste. Love their salad bar! It looks like a regular salad bar, nothing special. But the sauce made the taste spectacular! I can have 5 plates straight in one sitting:D

Best pizza lunch buffet, hands down. The pizza is always fresh, constantly changing, and in great variety. Plus, the salad bar is well maintained.

Here is an update from someone at Idaho pizza. They got in contact and offered me a gift card to come back and give them another try. I accepted and will give them another try. I also raised their overall stars to 3 because they were prompt. Will update as more comes in

I travel a lot, all over the country, and I order local pizza on the last night of my trip. I had a Treasure Valley pizza delivered to my hotel and it's the best pizza I have had in a long time. Great crust, fresh ingredients, not soggy. Just really good!

Solid 3 stars for food quality rounded up to 4 for quick, cheap and easy lunch. This is the ma n pa version of the Pizza Hut buffet. A couple of pizza selections some cheesy bread twists (those were my favorite) and a simple salad bar that had all the fresh essentials. Nothing fancy here but a quality quick lunch. For $7ish (including tax) you get the full buffet including a drink or for less you can go for just the salad or just the pizza. I am sure to go back on my next trip.

You know, when I lived in Boise I just took this place for granted. Lunch buffet, soda, yadda yadda. Now that I don't live there, I make it a point to go here EVERY time I visit Boise. I think the pizza is as good as you'll find almost anywhere even in the buffet. We went here after a BSU game one night and the pizza was every bit as good as it is during the day. The servers were very polite and the pizza always comes out hot. The lunch buffet is arguably the best lunch deal in the treasure valley.

Love the new remodel. The place looks great! Had some bread sticks and the Sawtooth Special pizza. Good, clean atmosphere. When my boyfriend and I walked in we didn't receive a greeting from the girl standing upfront. She didn't really go out of her way to make us feel welcomed. Over all the food was great and highly recommend this place.

Basketball end of season pizza party! Good pizza, great atmosphere. Their lunch buffet is amazing.

This place has great pizza! Had a large size with ham and pineapple with half white sauce and half red sauce. The white sauce was perfection! The red was good too. Dough was fresh and fluffy, tasted fabulous. Very satisfied and happy with the meal and helpful service, although they did check id's for the beer and wine even though it's fairly obvious that I'm over 21.
(5)Kim P.
Pizza was good. Service kinda lagging as they forgot our breadsticks, and it took a while for the food, but we had salad too. The salad bar was good; however the smell from the fridge wasn't. Place could use a deep cleaning. Not that it's super dirty, kinda shabby, but not chic. I'd still go back and ask for extra sauce since they put less than average.
(3)Ranae C.
Their pizza is pretty delicious, this is definitely one of our favorite places that delivers, in fact, it has become our go to recently.

We just moved back to Idaho after a fifteen year hiatus. I was dubious that a place called "Idaho Pizza" could be worthwhile but found they were the only local company to deliver to our area. I was actually quite pleased. If you're looking for generous toppings, chewy crust and well seasoned sauce resulting in a solid Chicago style pizza you came to the right place. The pizza arrived hot and before they said it would, presented by a smiling, friendly delivery guy. The only reason I'm holding back a star is lack of originality. They have the basics but if you're in the mood for pear and prucittio, or a smoked salmon and fennel pie then look elsewhere. I would advise them to get creative in the kitchen and write up a few daring specials and add some good Italian deli meats and goat cheese to the ingredient list. That said, I'll be calling them back again.

Idaho Pizza Company is a local chain with several locations around the valley. We've visited three or four of them and found them to all have consistent, tasty pizza. We especially love the lunch buffet. It's got good-quality pizza which is always fresh and quickly replenished. At about $7.00 for AYCE pizza, salad bar, and soda, it's a bargain. Also, make sure to get a punch card and every 10th trip will be free. Because the lunch is good and cheap, expect it to be pretty busy. Even so, they constantly have fresh pizza coming from the kitchen and they do a good job of managing the crowd. We are less inclined to visit Idaho Pizza Company for dinner. They don't offer the buffet and the pizzas run about $20 each, a little more than at other places (though it is really good). One criticism of their buffet model, they do not bring you fresh plates for pizza and salad and I find it a little troubling. I'm not a health department employee, but it seems possible to me that in the process of eating you could get saliva transferred from your fork to your plate, which then could in turn contaminate the serving utensils of the pizza and salad bar when you dish up a second helping. Yuck! That really should be addressed 'cause I really don't feel swapping spit with the overweight guy at table 2, especially if he's not buying my meal!
(4)Donn E.
I usually eat the lunch buffet at the Overland location and have been a regular there for years. I happened to be in the Broadway area and wanted to have the lunch buffet. It was about 1:30ish and they are supposed to serve the buffet until 2pm. They either had a very busy rush, or were just giving up for the day. There was hardly any pizza available, the salad bar was a mess and wasn't restocked, and it just wasn't the same experience. Since I normally enjoy the lunch buffet, I will continue to visit the store on Overland. I might be hesitant to try the Broadway store again, and if I do I won't go there for lunch after 1:30.

What kind of pizza is this??? it's not... thin, Chicago style, NY style, New Haven style, Neapolitan style....??? Thick, doughy and lots of cheese. Confusing place. Staff seemed nice and the place was super clean.
