Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I'm going to give this 4 stars because I have had pizza that I enjoyed more, however for the value it's definitely 5 stars so let's meet in the middle and call it 4.5. I recently moved to the south area of town and faced with the need for quick dinner I looked at reviews. I saw the photo of the works at Diggs and thought why not! Let me tell you my pizza was ready in 30 minutes and so full of toppings the box wouldn't close. This is a fork pizza people! I ate 1 slice and was done. We'll have lunch and dinner tomorrow! I'll definitely come back. The service was courteous and fast, the pizza tasty and generous.

I love pizza, all types of pizzas from NY thin crust to deep dish pizza and everything in between. So when I saw the pics of there pizza on yelp I had to try it. The pics don't lie, the owner loads his pizza to the max. My girlfriend and I ordered the works pizza which had Canadian bacon, pepperoni, salami, sausage, mushrooms, olives, green peppers and pineapple. Wow that was one tasty pizza. The toppings were delicious. I'm not 100% sold on the crust though,I've had better. Not to say it was bad in anyway, just not my favorite. My girlfriend loved the pizza and the crust so it just comes down to your own preference. Overall I did enjoy there pizza and look forward to trying them again. I recommend giving them a shot next time your in the mood for some pizza, plus they're local so your helping out the little guy instead of the big franchises

Great calzones, great pizza, best salads in town! The twisty bread is a must. Very family friendly staff.

We visited for the first time based on some great reviews on Google. Service was great and friendly and the pizza was amazing. The 3 of us ordered an extra large "Works" and had a few pieces that we saved for the next day. My son had another piece by the time we got home. Delicous, great value and we will definitely be back.

Great calzones. You choose any two pizza toppings. Could use more cheese, though, but they are very generous with the toppings.

Diggs pizza wings has become a friday night ritual for us. Definitely get it for the blue cheese. This little local restaurant is definitely worth a visit, the proprietor is a down to earth, friendly guy, yay local business!

Been eating their pizza for years...love the crust and the pepperoni with extra cheese is the bomb! Spicey meat weigh horseradish sauce is very good, too...

This is a small pizza joint that accommodates the surrounding neighborhood that it is nestled in. Their pizzas are great and they deliver!. They also carry your basic hot wings and fresh made sandwiches. I typically get their garlic chicken pizza which is full of flavor.

If you're on the fence at all asking yourself "To order or not to order from this... Digg's Pizza place," then yes, the answer is yes. "But will they skimp on the toppings or over cook my meal choice?" Or, "Why does it take an hour for delivery, when I only live four miles away?" No, these are not valid concerns when it comes to Digg's Pizza (you may wait a bit on obviously busy nights, but you can go pick it up too if you MUST has now, meow.). They have some of the most delicious and outstanding pizza that I have had in the state of Idaho, or anywhere, to be honest. Personal History: I come from Akron, Ohio, which is sandwiched between Cleveland and Canton. Pizza shops are aplenty. And I don't mean the big corporate ones. They do exist (aplenty), but I assume most people who enjoy diverse flavors in their "diet cheat night," look elsewhere when taking a diet break. There are countless different pizza shops that I've had, whom always claimed to be the best. Sometimes those statements get close to their braggadocio, but very rarely. I love Digg's for their modest approach in the "we have the best pizza and sandwiches and wings" department. They don't ever say it, instead letting their creations (always unique (take that corporate pizza person!)) do the 'splainin. I rank Digg's pizza in my top five pizza choices that I could possibly have on this earth, as a last meal, against anyone. Words are wind, I know. But until you've savored in any of their pizza's (The Standard with mozzarella on top) or their generous grinders and calzones (you'll wake up at 3am for a bite of that half you saved for lunch), your pizza shop cravings will sadly, remain unfulfilled. So do it, or put it on the list of things you wish ye had, and continue being a lemming. (My Mom will always get 5-stars, nobody else.)

It doesn't take any pizza-making skill to pile toppings on a saucy crust and put it in the oven. The skill is in blending the right amount of crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings so that you actually have a pizza slice to pick up. The crust was under-cooked (as admitted by the friendly owner) because of so many toppings. After taking off the toppings so that I could re-heat and actually bake the gummy crust, I have two CUPS of extra toppings (sausage, mushrooms, olives, and green peppers) to use in omelettes (as one other reviewer pointed out), but I still don't have good pizza. In fact, I threw some away- a rare occurrence for me. The owner pointed out that pizza preferences are a personal thing, which I hadn't considered before. So, personally, I'd rather have had Idaho Pizza or Papa Murphys. Sorry :-(

Seriously the best pizza I've ever had. You must try the zippy skippy, you won't be disappointed. If you want a lighter option, their salads are huge, enough to feed 3-4 people. The place is located in a little strip mall on The corner of Cole and Amity which is okay for me because I live close by and they deliver.

Best pizza, so much topping and the chef/owner comes out in his leather kilt to your table to see how you liked your pizza. Who does that! I'm kinda glad this is sorta a southwest Boise "little secret".
(5)Genniece L.
You won't find this pizza or anything comparable anywhere. Use the meats and veggies that fall off on your morning omelet.
(5)B S.
Unbelievable service, the pizza was over-flowing with toppings, and the salad was the best in the valley
(5)Aaron D.
GO DIGGS!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! This place is AMAZING! Very generous with the toppings. Super fast delivery and an excellent staff! We have only ordered twice but the fact we came back is an A++++ in my book! We love trying new places but every time I think pizza I'm comparing everyone to you.
(5)Christine N.
The pizza is absolutely terrible. The toppings were not fresh, the mushrooms were shriveled from age, the pizza was barely warm and the crust was soggy. It was heavy with toppings but they fell off when you picked up the slice. We tried this place based on the reviews we read here and can't believe they went to the same place we did.

They do not have beer but you can buy your own next door.
