We ate at this location last night. We are from out of town and was looking forward to the deep dish pie Chicago Connection is known for. We ordered a large. What came out was a flat soggy pizza. We asked our waiter what the problem was and he said they are having problems with getting their yeast to rise, shrugged his shoulders and brought us our check. When we walked out I noticed another table, their pizza looked like it is supposed to...thick deep dish crust. I don't know what the problem was but to serve a disappointing poor quality product and then just shrug your shoulders and give the customer a bill for the full price does not seem like a good way to do business. We go to Boise about once a week and won't ever return to this location. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED.

Great lunch options. We tried the spicy wings and they were tasty. We each had a one topping personal pizza. I was not expecting the deep dish style, and didn't love the crust, but it was a tasty pizza overall. The HIGHLIGHT was the salad bar! Yum! Gorgeous greens (not just the usual iceberg combo), wide variety of other veggies, and the Ranch dressing had a great kick that we both really liked. We'll probably be back to try something different.

Salad bar was great. Wings were tasty. And the pizza was pretty good. I didn't really like the cheese from the pizza but it was still good.

Terrible! My first clue should have been that the place was nearly empty at 6:00 pm. Second clue should have been the poor decor and the plastic plates and cups. The salad bar, which was what I was really craving, was low quality and the "large" plate was what most places would call a regular. The pizza was nothing like any Chicago pizza I have ever had. The sauce was very watery. I ordered a small, was given an individual. The waitress offered to have another individual made for me. As a bit into the crust a my first pizza a long, black hair was attached. Disgusting. I told the waitress. She then brought me my bill for the two individual pizzas with no apologies or statements about the hairy pizza... This was the Denney's of pizza places. Actually, I'd take Denney's over this. I will never go back. In fact, I may shudder as I drive by.

I'm a little surprised at the harsh reviews of this location. It is a super old building, but I've never thought that the food was bad. I always go for lunch and get the salad bar and the small personal pizza. The salad bar is always fresh and I can't get enough of the pizza. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will keep coming back.

The only thing that was good about this place was they delivered late and the cheesesticks. The pizza was horrible, i would have rather had dominos or pizza hut. Also we had it delivered and both the guy on the phone and the delivery driver were very pushy for a tip. I don't know, maybe if we got just a cheese or peperoni it might have been better than the two combos we got. I think they were the cheese to the 7th power and Greek. We left most of both uneaten.
