Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lookining for the best burger in Boise we found it! Went home with a growler of yummy beer too.

Ordered food to go - during Sunday night football. They were really busy, and after a couple of hiccups with our order, they insisted on giving us some food for the trouble. When an establishment takes care of their customers, it most definitely makes them want to come back. The food was great, like always, and I appreciated Amanda's customer service. We'll be back. They have mediocrity down to a science. If your thing is deep fried, you'll love it, but if not, just keep driving. They haven't changed their menu in years. Gave it 2 stars because they do have a nice choice of good beer.

I have to say, we were surprised. It's dark and a bit outdated but the burgers are fantastic!! I had a Bleu Cheese burger and my husband had the Mushroom Burger. French fries were done perfectly. The burgers were juicy and flavorful. I tried the mushrooms on my husband's burger. I could have eaten an entire plate of just those. Service was great and friendly. Popcorn was hot and buttery! Don't let outside deter you. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is on my short list. The prices are good, service is great, the food is always good (especially the finger steaks and Rib Eye sandwich), a full bar with drink prices that won't break the bank, and lot's of TV's to watch a game. What more could you ask for. Like some others said before, the place was looking a little tired, but they just did a major remodel and it looks like new again. I highly recommend you give it a try.

We dropped in on a Tuesday evening for burgers and brew. Firstly, I was surprised at how busy they were--the parking lot was near full and, when we entered, the bar area was full as was one of the dining rooms. I don't know what the deal was (especially since someone had mentioned coming on a Saturday evening to find it completely dead). The service was fantastic. We were promptly seated and our server was courteous and attentive throughout our meal. They had popcorn available to munch on while waiting for your food (you had to get it yourself...but still...a plus for bar munchies). We sat in the dining area, which had about as much ambiance as my beer guzzling Uncle Fred's "man room"--fortunately, however, it smelled better. The beer selection was decent and if you're not a beer drinker, they have a full bar as well. I ordered their cheeseburger and fries and my dining companion ordered their guacamole burger and fries. The cheeseburger was solid--a bit ordinary, but overall fine. My dining companion's guacamole burger was a little perplexing. It is billed as one of their knife and fork burgers--the idea being that it is so smothered in loveliness that it would require a knife and fork to eat. And, it did indeed come open-faced with a knife and fork, but it was completely unnecessary as it could have easily been eaten the traditional way without a problem. The veggies on both of the burgers were fresh and my dining companion reported that the guacamole was made with fresh avocados. The fries were decent and they offered us ketchup, ranch, or fry sauce with them (I do love when a place offers fry sauce--it's a Boise tradition). Except for the wonderful service--overall, a sort of ho-humish experience--nothing was overly awful but nothing was terribly outstanding either.

While my wife and I go here a lot (its close to our house), and most of the time its solid, sometimes you just seem to catch them on an "off" night. Good: - Bleu cheese bacon burger is great. Really good fresh thick crispy bacon. - The mud-pie (ice cream cake type thing) for desert is great (but plan on splitting it!) - Family friendly place, great if you want to be at a place you can catch a game, have cheap beer, and also have your kids. Bad: - Sometimes the service just sucks. We've been probably a dozen times, and one time particularly stood out as really bad (no coffee refills, no water, etc.; just because we only ordered desert that time). Usually its decent. - Doesn't always seem "spick and span" levels of cleanliness. Its ok... just not how I would do it. Overall, its a great place. Its the best place we've found for burgers in the Boise area. We will be back lots!

Great beer selection and decent happy hour. Recent renovation does wonders for atmosphere. Always go for the nachos but have tried and really enjoyed the burgers. The nachos though...(drool)... so good.

Great place and a Boise institution. The service is relaxed but good. The renovation last year looks awesome. The food is good, different burgers, homemade finger steaks, and great nachos. Awesome place to chill and have a few beers from their great tap selection.

I've been coming to the 'Brew off and on for a couple of years. While this place has always had a charm of it's own I must say that the renovations that are taking place are really what this place needed. The service is always top notch and the atmosphere has always been very relaxing. It is a great place to relax and have a good meal or sit at the bar and watch a game on tv. The menu showcases a great selection of unique burgers and sandwiches but also features everything from Hot Wings to Rib Eye Steak (one of my favorites). I have never been disappointed with the food and have always found the quality to be great value for the dollar. I have to also say that this will be my stop from now on for St Pats. The corned beef last night was some of the best I've ever had. First Rate!

Great burgers and respectable beer selection as you would hope for from the name. I didn't go before the remodel so I don't have a point of reference to compare some of the older reviews but it was clean and well put together. The onion rings and Wing Zingers were delicious. I'm not a big wings fan but they fry them in a light batter making them crispy before they sauce them - I'm now of fan of zingers. The service was oustanding - thanks Troy! I'll definitely be back for more.

Great food! Great service! Went here with my family the other night and had a wonderful time! It's a family friendly environment with nice flat screens all throughout the restaurant to check out any games going on.

I agree with what Georgia said, maybe not quite as harsh as junior high cafe food. But it is forgettable and for the price you would expect more. The beer selection is pretty good so i give it a +1 for that.
