The food is amazing!!! Cooks are awesome. I've been to many hibachi places and this one does not disappoint! We had the shrimp and steak. Both were cooked very well. Loved the atmosphere too.

Fun Atmosphere! Went with a large group to celebrate a birthday! Fantastic food! Wonderful drinks. When we could get them! Took a long time for the tab to be brought our way and was difficult getting drinks. However, I'll still be back!!

Excellent customer service and very kid friendly. For being in Idaho Falls, and not having a lot of dining selections, I would go here every day! Server was on top of it, never had an empty drink, and very friendly. Food was fresh and hot items were hot. No complaints!

Always fun, and a novelty for Idaho Falls. Maybe a bit on the pricey side, but the hibachi chefs are very entertaining and the food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended. It might be the best place in Idaho Falls for a dependably delicious meal and really great service. As I said, the price can be a bit much, especially if you order starters, like a sushi roll, for instance. One quick note... The ginger-soy salad dressing on the house salad is amazing!

Some of the best sushi I've had. Got an assortment of specialty sushi rolls. Didn't try the Hibachi this time but will on the next. Atmosphere was extremely pleasant as well. Very spacious. Very friendly servers too. All around great experience.

This place is soo much fun. It is a breath of fresh air to the IF food scene. The wait staff is great, personable, and courteous. I haven't even tried the hibachi yet.

Friendly staff. Great service. We had the hibachi. It's definitely a "sometimes" place for us due to price, but it is worth it. Deeelicious!

Great food. Incredible atmosphere, the inside was done very, very well. Took the family there for lunch and had a great time.

Went for the first time for lunch on our Anniversary. The hostess seated us and we thoroughly looked over the menu and made our selections and then waited for our server to stop by.(I think it took too long) We placed our order and was brought our drinks and salads. Not sure about the dressing on the salad but it was swimming in it. We could only eat a few pieces of lettuce that were free from the dressing . Our appetizers came next ,fried calamari and spring rolls. We thought the calamari was too chewy and the spring rolls inside were mushy and the outside breading way too thick and doughy. Our food came and looked decent on the plate .I ordered the shrimp and steak hibachi plate and my hubby had the chicken and shrimp hibachi plate. I thought the shrimp were just okay, the steak a little tough, the mixed veggies were a few pieces of broccoli and an onion slice and the rice was way too bland and greasy. The sauce was horrible, it tasted like sour watered down A1 ...blahhh. My hubby's meal was slightly better the sauce was a sweeter one and he had actual mixed veggies, broccoli, carrots, onions and squash. I definitely prefer Chinese food better, don't think we'll be going back here. A little too pricey and not much on the plate but rice.

I'm a sucker for sushi and seafood and beef fillets cooked before my eyes. A friendly staff and groovy atmosphere. Feels a bit Casino like when you walk in, with a large reception area, modern bar and genuine hibachi dining or conventional higher end table settings. Food was great. Chef was funny. Wait staff friendly and competent. Bar tender liked to twirl his cork screw and pace back and forth; and once scratched the inside of his ear with the screwy end-but I just laughed (I wasn't having wine). The only issue for me is the smell inside ... not with the fish. It looks and tastes very fresh. But this is a new business in an old space, and one must wonder what fowl goings on occurred with the prior establishment. The look is great, welcoming, etc, but the two times I've dined here, the air from inside hit me like a sumo fart. It's probably something that over time, a regular wouldn't notice as much, but I'd love to see the management follow their nose to the source.

Awesome new place! You have to try it! Very nice decor. Excellent sushi! Much needed in IF!

Wow wow wow; I have not been to a Sushi Bar this good since Iciban in Orlando Florida 20 years ago! Where to start, the interior is beautiful. The staff are professional and obviously brought in to be trained so well. The food, out of this world, fresh fresh fresh and perfectly prepared. The drinks are awesome; I had the Tokyo Rum runner that was awesome. We figured our bill would be over a hundred? It was $66 bucks , are you kidding me!

While the prices are high, they seem to be on par for this style of restaurant. We ate hibachi style once and had sushi twice in the restaurant. We loved it each time. My wife had never tried sushi and was skeptical, but now she is the one that suggests that we go there for sushi. The only down side so far were the appetizers we tried: soft shell crab and the beef. Both were letdowns. Everything else has been great.

Love this place, not a typical restaurant found in IF. The service is great, atmosphere is cool and the quality of the sushi for the price makes it one of our faves! My favorite roll is the Fuji roll. Wasn't the biggest fan of the hibachi, but it was entertaining for the kids. No need to waste time at any of the other sushi places in town.

I haven't had the hibachi yet, so I'll have to come back and update my review once I do. The service was AWESOME. Our waitress was super attentive and helped us out with the large sushi menu. We always go for the specialty rolls. Skip the lobster roll. Note to the business: YOU NEED A BETTER LOBSTER ROLL!!!! Like come on, give a popcorn lobster roll or something at least. I liked that it was different than different lobster rolls I've had, but neither of us liked it at all. The special snowball roll was good! And we got two more that were pretty good, but I can't remember what they were. If they had their menu online I could tell you, but they don't. So, sorry!

All I've heard about this place is how great it is. I got the chicken teriyaki bento box and edamame. The edamame was great. All the food in my bento box was awesome, but the fried rice was awful. The rice wasn't cooked well and the flavor was garbage. The California roll was pretty decent-I was hesitant to order sushi in Idaho but it wasn't bad at all. Our waiter was a grouch and he yelled everything. I also saw him chewing as he brought food out which I found to be terribly unprofessional. It wasn't terrible, but I don't think I'll bother to make a second trip.

Excellent food! Usually good service. Never disappointed in the food! Best sushi in town! Love the yum yum sauce, fried rice and the filet!

A very friendly and attentive staff. The sushi was garnished in a wonderful arrangement, and the price was right for a sushi and hibachi restaurant. The amibence would be described as peaceful yet inviting.

Honestly if I could give this place 6 stars I would. We took our daughter & her family for her Birthday. It was excellent! We had her 3 kids with us and they had a blast also. Dinner & a show it was great. We started out with the veggies appetizers. They were good but really not necessary as they give you plenty of food. Between the 8 of us we had the Shrimp, Chicken & Steak. All three was very good. The fried rice was phenomenal the best I've ever had. Our server was Aji he is excellent!! We will definitely be going back for more. Probably the best restaurant in Idaho Falls right now. We also have been to Beni Hana in SLC and felt this was way better!! Definitely want to give this place a try you will not regret it.

My semi-high expectations weren't really met. Grouchy server, only decent food, but nice interior. I went here with my family on the recommendation of others who had spoken pretty highly of the place. And of course, it was the new place in town, so we had to give it a try! It was packed when we got there, and we had to wait about 15-20 minutes on a Wednesday night. But that's to be expected of a newer restaurant, so it wasn't really an issue. We got seated around the hibachi and waited for a while for our server to make a showing. She showed up and was pretty grouchy from the get go. She didn't really make any conversation with us and seemed to just tolerate our presence there. Fortunately, the cook who showed up later was a little more outgoing, but even he seemed like he was just trying to get through a shift. I get that, and it's also part of the experience to have a nice outgoing cook. The food. It really wasn't anything all that exciting, although it was certainly decent. I sampled nearly everything off of the hibachi, as my group was rather large and made a variety of orders. I had the scallops and shrimp combination plate, and along with the calamari, I'd say that these are the best items off of the hibachi. They were all well cooked and seasoned. The chicken was rather bland. The steak was good as well. What seemed to be most prominent on the plate was a huge pile of fried rice that really had very little flavor to it. That seemed odd to me, considering how much sauce the cook had put into it! I do love me some eggs in rice, and I did appreciate how much egg was in it, but that's all the positive I have to say for it. I was also disappointed in the vegetables served. It seemed like it was a 2:1 ratio of onions to every other vegetable. I like onions, but not in that ratio. So the food really was just OK to me. I see all these 5-star reviews and I think that maybe I had a bad experience or something. I'm not sure. I just am not all that keen on the place.

Awesome atmosphere! Danny was a great chef and awesome with my family!! Great food!!

This is a great place to come. I've been in the sushi side and the hibachi side, and I definitely prefer the hibachi. It was fun and very cool to see the chef prepare the food in front of us, while still being witty and fun to talk to. If you have any reservations about going, take it from me, it's awesome!
(5)Darin C.
Exceeded my expectations. Very good sushi and food in general. Service was quick even when busy and the staff very polite and friendly. It's my first time here and I'm thinking i might just be a regular.

We ate here about a month ago. It was mediocre. High price and okay service. The restaurant was loud and the portions were fine. The actual food was ehhhhh. We did not do the hibachi- but it felt like we paid for the hibachi, even though we were at a booth. If you go you pay for the hibachi experience either way so make sure you sit and watch them do there neat tricks. Atmosphere was a little loud. I would not go back here unless I really wanted to see the hibachi side of things (which I don't).

Great meal. Sushi was good enjoyed the yum yum and highland roll. Had hibachi and ate the calamari so good and well cooked. Each cook provides a slightly different service dependent on their personality. Great family experience or for a date night.
